1  Economy / Goods / Re: (Buying) Herbal Vaporizer! on: October 11, 2011, 09:02:01 PM
I looked at your site before posting, but I couldn't see any relevant products.
2  Economy / Goods / (Buying) Herbal Vaporizer! on: October 11, 2011, 08:25:49 PM
Not after a volcano, looking for something portable though non-portables will definitely be considered. Pictures appreciated!
3  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the federal government collapse in the US? on: August 05, 2011, 10:23:22 PM
On a long enough timeline, the survival rate of all fiat currencies drop to zero.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the federal government collapse in the US? on: August 05, 2011, 09:28:04 PM
The world would eventually be better off for shedding the currently failing, false economy. Hopefully, the collapse of the largest Government on the planet would drag the rest of them down.

He doesn't appear to be, on the face of the scenario. How often does he resort to violence to solve his problems?
6  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is it at all possible to associate an IP address with a Bitcoin address? on: June 30, 2011, 07:48:17 PM
I wouldn't want my IP address in anyway linked to any Bitcoin addresses.
7  Other / Meta / Re: Images in signatures on: June 30, 2011, 07:39:13 PM
My vote would be to allow images in signatures, but limit their size.
8  Other / Meta / Re: Requirement - A Wallet Address in Every Signature on: June 30, 2011, 07:36:45 PM
I think it's a good idea for people to have an address in their signature, however I don't think we should -enforce- it as a requirement. If people want to receive donations, either for a cause or in recognition of a great post, then having an address visible has obvious advantages. If people want to contribute to the Bitcoin conversation without tying it to an address, then that's their choice.
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: Somebody tell me I'm going to grow out of this.... on: June 21, 2011, 03:34:20 AM
There have been a few dark days during my own teenage years that I'd quietly considered not-so-quietly 'cashing out', had I a firearm at hand. Thankfully I no longer feel that way. I don't think you will wake up one day to find your suicidal tendencies just disappeared without having put in some effort to resolve the underlying issues, as though a simple addition of 'years since birth' is the only factor in determining ones mental stability, and I definitely don't think a chemical dependence is the way to go. Assuming you agree, or this thread wouldn't be here...

I would be happy to talk with you about this one on one sometime Atlas, if you like. From your singular post in this thread I can't pinpoint an instant solution for you, but I would like to help you explore your feelings and see what answers we can find. For example, examining times you've had the chance to contribute but chose not to, or times you've failed to achieve whatever it is you wanted to, what your motivations were at these times and how these manifested as undesirable actions and outcomes, or why you feel so strongly about your perspective that you are willing to ventilate your skull. Take this strangers advice with a pinch of salt, but I would recommend weaning yourself off the drugs and taking time for some honest introspection - aided if you don't think you can pull yourself out of your gloom.

I know I'm an unknown here at the moment; I've been quietly lurking for a while. I know of somebody else who regularly helps people talk out their issues who I think would gladly speak with you, if you'd rather.

I wouldn't condone suicide, but I think its' a position I can understand... if somebody chooses to die then that is a sad choice, but it is their choice to make nonetheless.
10  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Railway photography. on: June 19, 2011, 05:16:07 PM
Just looking to see if there's any interest in buying railway photos or negatives, mostly of the British trains from the steam or DMU era. If there's a certain train, or British station you're interested in, leave me a message and I'll check the stocks. Got thousands, chances are good I'll be able to provide.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Jokes on: June 19, 2011, 12:36:23 AM
An Englishman, Irishman and a Scotsman walk into a bar. The bartender looks up and greets them with a smile.
"What can I get you?" asks the bartender.
"Three pints of lager, please."
"Certainly, sir."
The bartender goes to pour the drinks and brief banter is had between the customers.
When it comes time to pay, no cash is produced. Instead the Englishman gets out his laptop.
"Do you take Bitcoins?" he asks.
"We do, in fact. Aren't they great?"
"Yes." answers the Englishman, as he transacts the Bitcoin funds, and drinks are had. Because neither customer nor retailer had to pay taxes, both benefited from the ability to spend their income exactly as they please.

Uncensored list of Bitcoin sites

Gambling sites are censored/banned from the wiki now.

Disappointing.
14  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Earn 131BTC or 1BTC for getting shops/organisations to accept Bitcoin! on: May 25, 2011, 06:02:00 PM
I'm going to try and get GuerrillaMail.com to accept BitCoin donations.
15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Political Orientation on: May 23, 2011, 11:29:35 PM
What's the difference between Neutral, Ignorant and Uninvolved? Tongue

By Statist, do you mean Fascist (State Capitalist)? Libertarians, Liberals and Conservatives are technically 'Statist', in that they approve of a governing state through which to enact political change.
16  Other / Meta / Re: Decline in the signal to noise ratio in the forum on: May 23, 2011, 09:36:34 PM
We could collate the most commonly asked questions into an easy to find, stickied FAQ thread and hold bounties for the most unbiased, informative answers. Alternatively, break each question into separate stickied threads so people can have a clearly visible archive of discussion on that certain question.

I know there's a Bitcoin FAQ on the Wiki, but having certain questions answered and archived for all to see here on the forum might help dissuade the users who are new from creating endless samey topics.

Well, unless it's an intentional smear campaign by Anti-Bitcoin trolls.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real names on: May 21, 2011, 03:00:12 PM
If people want to use their real name here, I have no problem with that. I wouldn't do it myself, but as long as I am not going to be forced to reveal myself, then I'm not going to stop those who do want to reveal themselves.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think the rapture happened..... on: May 21, 2011, 02:55:06 PM
For those who believe this rapture rumour, I saw an interview with the man who started this allegation, and he said it'll start at 6pm with an earthquake felt all over the world.

A lot of Christians are going to be very confused and ashamed tonight... or a lot of Non-Christians are going to be super fucked for eternity.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get Bitcoin on Adam vs The Man! on: May 21, 2011, 02:48:22 PM
Given Adams open support for Ron Paul and his presidential campaign, and the fact Ron Paul is the highest suggested guest speaker again, I'd say it's very likely he'll be on the show again. It's probably only a matter of when the Senator can spare them the time.

I'm not so fussed with Ron Paul myself. Sure, it'd be a huge, redeeming step in the right direction for America if he wins and sticks to his principles, and if he doesn't then people will have to see this parasitic control entity cannot be trusted, no matter whose face is on the cover. That would also be good in the long-term, but will probably herald bad times in the short-term. If he doesn't win, well, America's going to have another 4 years of worse times.

Bitcoin's still the most suggested topic, waiting on that!
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get Bitcoin on Adam vs The Man! on: May 17, 2011, 05:27:56 PM
Anybody with Tor and a few minutes spare can help get this mentioned on the show. Use Guerilla Mail to supply you with endless addresses and feed that information into the hungry dialog boxes. And if you don't have Tor, you should look into it.

EDIT;
Thank you to everyone that helped. Bitcoin is now the most suggested topic.
