Not sure that anyone else can deliver 1000 machines today except Ebang.
4  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Ebang Announces E9++, E10, and E10.1 on: January 03, 2018, 02:47:19 PM
I was there at the e10 presentation in HangZhou, China.

The chip was produced by Samsung, the design of it and the PCB by Ebang.

There were 4 teams of non Chinese people at the event, 3 from Russia and 1 from Serbia. Every team was a large account to Ebang.

When they announced pricing, everyone was kind of a stunt. Everyone came optimistic to buy a whole lot, like 1000 machines. On that day they offered e10 for $5500, and no one bought anything. Smiley

Next day they lowered the price to $4900, and I still think that no one bought anything.

First batch delivery is set to 20.1.2018

Machine is real, I have seen it working, but just a bit expensive.

5  Economy / Services / Re: $2 million asic purchase on: December 13, 2017, 08:54:38 AM
wow, that is dirt cheap compare to los angeles, just additional service of 5000 amps would cost 500k+ and would take 9-12 moths

hehe, yes, Serbia is far cheaper than California. Smiley
6  Economy / Services / Re: $2 million asic purchase on: December 13, 2017, 08:16:01 AM
It is 10 days - 2 weeks for 1 station to develop, and a cost of around 50k euros. It is good offer.

Do your investors a huge favor. Take that money and put it across to the top 10-20 alts. 50% bitcoin splitting the rest up depending on your research of each coin and how you think it will play a role in future.  Mining is a war amongst asic manufacturers now. I wouldn’t waste my time or money.  Again I say this ask any legendary member of this forum what would have been the better buy.  Coins or machines.  Hands down it would have been the coins.

Checkout coinmarketcap and really do your research.  I can’t stress this enough.  I can tell you haven’t done enough because your still looking to buy machines.

BR

You should throw all of this 'advice' away. People that think just buying coins and hodling dont really understand how this game works.

$2 million worth of s9s right now is about 1250 machines after buying PSUs.

1250 machines @ 13.5th = 16.875ph

16.875ph is worth roughly $50k per day. Calculate power at $0.06/kwh the daily profit is $42.8k

$48.2k x 365 = $15.62 million per year. Obviously there is other operational costs involved so say 20% goes to that, leaving $12.5 million in profit for the year.

Buying and hodling $2 mil in coins means the price needs to go up over 6x in one year to make the same profit.

Then you consider the fact that the hardware will be printing money for you for AT LEAST another 2 years at zero additional cost, the fact that the hardware has a strong resale value when you do decide to upgrade, and the fact that the coins you receive from mining will appreciate just as fast as the coins you would have just purchased with cash. Why would anyone choose to just buy and hodl while leaving millions of dollars on the table?

Yes the profitability is not a static number, these numbers are just to be used as a general example. If btc continues to rise faster than the network difficulty you will actually profit more than what I have shown with some basic back of the napkin math.

You seem to be leaving out an important bit. Difficulty.  https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

You also leave out the facility needed. Ac.  Power.  Etc.   look at the rise of all coins. Look at where we are on the stage of the game.  I stand by buying the coins.  Save yourself a major headache. And if you have to burn it somewhere wait for the new machines to come out.

BR

spot on.. plus 99% of the existing building wont have the power capacity to support the kw need for such operation and new power is needed, they power you are looking at would probably need a substation builtout

Currently we have 110MW power line at disposal at 0.65 eur/kwh. Substations, each for 3MW, are being build at the moment.
The investors already sold mining contracts, and they were doing cloud mining for the last couple of years on a 'smaller scale' around 500KW.

Not many people, especially new in the game, understand HODL, but want to mine. I personally left mining 2 years ago but still doing consultancy there.

Hi,

I have investors with $2 million they would like to spend on ASIC machines. Does anyone have any contact from sales in Bitmain or Bitfury? Or any other company that would be interested in this OTC trade.

Thanks

I agree that HODL is better strategy, but investors are running cloud mining services and therefore need more machines.

50 hours and I still have "awaiting approval" for the sum of 0.1 btc, I mean, it's not even a significant sum.

To me it looks like MTGOX all over again, first there were excuses about the trading volume which everyone believed in, and then one morning there was Mark saying he's sorry.

Now linking MZC to staple purchases, Flour, Sugar, Milk, etc, will be beneficial for the nations that choose to adopt MZC.

exactly, if you have independent communities, you are in a major advantage for such accounting.  at the end every other national community will follow.  crypto is the most correct and fair way to define people's time or 'money' as some people refer to it.

I still hold a bulk of coins, and have several btcs ready for collateral to catch more, so this coin isn't going anywhere any time soon, no death at sight. It certainly isn't the team's fault that cryptorush went down, and with it link to fdrn/ mzc. Experiment of this size is more important than quick gain.

what is the reason behind this? as a hodler of between 2 and 15 mil mzc, don't see a problem anywhere. slowing rate of inflation isn't crucial. this is a bottom price for mzc/btc there's no need to fear of being rejected from the exchanges. if some of you are trying to dump as soon as it twitches up a bit, you're into mzc for a wrong cause, since the social aspect of mazacoin is far greater than of a btc. no other community in the world has an opportunity to introduce crypto due to local bureaucracy limitations, tribal communities under treaty have no or very little paper work.

Lakota people need to find a permanent use for it while others help em out mining, hodling, and crowd source advising.

The main reason for the fork is to have more consistent times on the blockchain, that is why we are implementing DGW3, if you look at the block explorer, after a multipool jumps into Maza because the diff is so low the diff will spike so high that once that multipool leaves we sit for hours between blocks.  This is not good for usability and will hamper the adoption of the coin by the Lakota or any other Native tribe.  We decided to slow the rate of inflation due to adoption by the Lakota taking longer than initially anticipated, most of the coins are held by people in the global community and very little by the Lakota.  We also needed to lower the rate of inflation so there is more incentive for them to adopt it, as raising prices on the reserve everyday in MZC because over 3 million coins are being created a day isn't feasible, this drops the coin creation down by 5 to 720k a day which is still plenty to allow for adoption while not causing the large daily inflation that was there.

Hopefully with these changes we can also get more investors into the coin to help show the Lakota government the value of crypto currency and how it can be a real solution to their problems.

thanks, it makes sense to level the spikes of  diff volatility.

cool game just checked out the layout of the website and everything else is just superb but if the game can be a bit more mature in graphics then it would be real addictive !!

thanks! yep, a refreshed look could come as an asset but would carry additional demanding.

wonder if it would be feasible to organize a tournament, couple of hours long, crypto chip in, winner takes all or something, over an escrow... hmmm...
