EU does have the pipe from Russia. they have 2 but the other one was blown up but they still have one which Russia can open. All it need is a negotiation. Putin sure is reasonable person as long as both can agree to something.

Parlay. Teams who has the edge will always. Not so guaranteed but always.
Your experiment didn't last because you probably dive to all matches. Finding yourself wagering on matches you have no idea but due to the odds you see. Because of this experiment often result to loss. Know your sports.

Once a wise man said, pick your battles. You sure know who that wise man is.

11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: At what point should you trust a gambling site? on: March 07, 2026, 07:29:36 PM
Well, we have been seeing the influx of new casinos and gambling site, but this only few of them barely have sport books in them, otherwise what they mostly list on their market is just casino games. I want to know why most of the gambling site doesn't like listing sportsbook and doesn't it mean that if they are not regulated they can't be able to add sport book to their site?

This is just question that struck into my mind to ask the community to know the reason why most of the gambling doesn't list sport book to their site.
The reason is probably avoiding complex licensing and regulation on where their casino is located. There are probably some reasons on why they avoid such hassles and it probably breakdown to the complexity of getting it, the technicality or expertise they need to hire, the costs and tbh it's much profitable to just run a casino games rather than adding sportsbook in it.

So those casinos featuring no sports are still starting up. And would need much capital and staff to make it. Trust is what OP is asking though.

Should we trust a casino the doesn't give us sports match betting?
Because it seem to me like they gone all the troubles in getting all the requirements to run a casino while the casino running just 3rd party games are slacking which they could just flip the next day.

14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: February 10, 2026, 06:08:44 AM
@rdbase. Similar to the underestimated Justin Gaethje, Sean Strickland is also a former champion who might also be underestimated for this fight. I will certainly not bet against Sean who is the UFC's king of strikes defense that he has learned from dodging all of the punches from his father when he was a young boy. This is a skill that he has learned under very traumatic occurrences and he has become the best MMA expert in defense because of this. My prediction will be Sean Strickland will have the victory through a decision.

Can't say this is a joke but I'd laugh anyway. He is now a dodge expert  thanks to his father who traumatized him. Way to go Sean.  Sure I agree Sean has the chance in this fight. Its hard to see him becoming a champ again, that was just one time.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Fear is back - how are you handling it? on: February 05, 2026, 05:15:06 PM

It must be tempting to bet on the price to go up in the options market since this drop of price seem to have  bottomed. If there really are institutions manipulating the market, betting for price to go up will make the price drop further since they want you to be liquidated.  Grin

Its best to just wait til the price emerges again. If  they say price is going to fall to 52k, I think  I would take it seriously. There ain't no reason for it to fall that hard but if someone says so, I think I would look into it.
16  Other / Serious discussion / Re: A serious concern: people die, accounts are lost — is there any way to “inherit” on: January 30, 2026, 05:33:54 AM
You can keep a sealed letter with your lawyer that contains instructions (not keys) on where to find things and who to contact.

The actual recovery material is split using Shamir's Secret Sharing, with shares in different physical locations that only make sense if you have the letter. Family knows the letter exists. That's it. No timelocks, no smart contracts, no complexity that could break.

You really trust a lawyer with your Bitcoin?
Damn. There are ways to do it without having to make you vulnerable. Multisig with your sons and daughters. This way they all can participate or  better yet give them what is needed now than just let them  inherit when you're dead.

17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC partnership with Polymarket - Prediction markets are not considered gamblng? on: January 29, 2026, 06:05:24 PM
So the banner for Polymarket made it's debut on the UFC broadcast over the weekend and it was featured on the Paramount+ stream several times and even showed the prediction markets during each bout in progress of the night between both fighters.
So they did not get rid of their sponsorship with Vechain afterall since they were still on the advertisements across the octagon.

They have mentioned before that the future contract results have been accurate for predicting what will occur for each scenario mentioned.
For instance, the market for who Trump will nominate as the next Fed chair will be Rick Rieder:

At 47% since this future contract was released back in August of last year would have you think that he will place Rieder in as the chair compared to the other candidate's odds.

Just checked who the majority of people who put in their predictions on who they think will win the Superbowl and it is at 68% for the Seattle Seahawks to win while the New England Patriots are at 32%.

So would you see these future's predictions on Polymarket fairly accurate aswell? Undecided

They can manipulate the result of the betting in Polymarket. There were rumors its going to be Larry Fink whos going to be acting as FED chair or Jaime Dimon. But its not in the options yet.  So if they wanted someone to win, I think Trump will do something for his  bet to win.

Ya this is considered a gambling platform. We see bets about matches like the ones in sports betting sites. But this has become very  popular though and if they are in UFC already then the marketing will be wider.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how drugs and gambling destroy a person’s life?? on: January 25, 2026, 07:07:25 AM

You really lived your life to the fullest when you have both of these. You  gamble while high, that is something you really got the life you love. We might just be jealous of how you happy you are with your life.

Unless you lose everything due to gambling and drugs. But if you moderately just do this and live a happy life, got a woman and a successful career or business we are going to be thinking how solid you are.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A GUY COMMITTED SUICIDE BECAUSE OF BITCOIN on: January 25, 2026, 05:50:53 AM

For him it may not just be his Bitcoin, maybe a brother or sister also owns part of the Bitcoins he has in that wallet and he can't bear it losing.  He probably being blamed for being broke by his brother. If its me, I never kill myself. I have a kid.

Lesson is just save your key somewhere you only know. maybe redundant save a .txt file and a piece of paper somewhere no one could find.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MEGA PARLAY on: January 24, 2026, 12:31:29 PM
More than 20 matches. That's really something. I would try doing that for a couple of bucks just to see if I am lucky. I sometimes win in a parlay for only 3 or 5 matches.

But 20 more? Very slim chance to win that much of a fight.  But you gonna win really big if you hit them  all. Some people are just so lucky and maybe you are one of them. Good luck.
