281  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you thinking about the future? on: February 24, 2018, 11:04:11 AM
Yes I am, I really do think about the future but not only for me but for my child also. I try to think of what'll happen if I do this or that for a long time or short time. But even so, I do not let this get the most of me. Yes, it really is very is important for everyone to be able to device plans for the future we just cannot deny that fact. But everyone really has to be very careful with this because this really can easily lead anyone into overthinking. And if this happens, people involved will likely fail to live in the moment and enjoy the current moments they are in. Which is why I make sure that even when I think of the future and acknowledge its importance, I will still be able to know the fine line between thinking moderately and overthinking. I cannot stress how important this is so that I won't have to sacrifice all the important moments that may come in my life with my family and even with my friends.
282  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for someone to manipulate the virtual currency market? on: February 24, 2018, 07:41:11 AM
If an entity is large and powerful enough, is it possible for it to gain a monopoly advantage and manipulate the rises and falls of the virtual currency market?

Well, it really is possible if you think about it since money and connections make big influences which can really enable anyone to do anything he or she wants. It can even help enable someone to bend laws. So it really isn't impossible to happen and is a pretty logical thought. It may sound something that is out of a movie but really, this is the reality that we  are currently living in right now, sad but true. But still, profit is still very possible if you know how the markets move or at least know a bit about it because by this we will know when to invest and how long to hold before these whales go and take profits again. I think all we need is to study more about the past movements of the markets. Just sayin'
283  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Will be Zero on: February 19, 2018, 12:51:52 AM
In the morning I read the news where one of the leading multinational finance company stats that the “Bitcoin & Other Cryptocurrency will be zero”. So is it possible? If possible then which instructions should be followed getting out of debt?

Well, all I can say is that whatever must happen will happen and there will be nothing that we can do but to accept  the fact. Because the chances of it being a successful currency and being a failure is 50-50. This is what every investor should always keep in mind and be able to accept when investing time, money, and effort into crypto currencies. Now, about getting out of bet, it is pretty simple. NEVER GET IN ON ONE. I cannot stress enough how important it is to just invest money you can afford to lose, and if you can't, you better go and work on bounties and try to earn enough money to be able to invest so that you wouldn't have to worry so much about the prices and won't be able to be carried away by emotions and fud. Not to mention that by working on bounties like signature campaign will really be a great source of knowledge because you will be forced to study about lots of things concerning cryptos so that you can be able to join in on conversations here without being a nuisance to the thread, section, or the forum as a whole.
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptos be so volatile forever? on: February 19, 2018, 12:09:42 AM
When will we reach the state of more of less stable cryptocurrencies or it is in their nature and will never end?

Well, I am not that sure but I pretty much think that stability will probably happen when every piece of bitcoin has already been mined and are already being used  plenty of people. But I really do not think that we should think about it too much since we can't even know what will happen in the future. I honestly think that this will never be happening anywhere near my lifetime, But if it really does, when I am still alive, I will probably be using it for my benefit.
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EU hates Bitcoin on: February 18, 2018, 11:57:36 PM
The EU hates digital currency do you think the EU will ban bitcoin but that will be a big problem. Huh

Well, obviously not all EU really does hate bitcoins just yet. Others are still turning a blind eye to it and just waiting for the next steps of other countries having bitcoins being illegal all over the world will be a very long and hard process. This is simply because of the fact that crypto currencies as a whole has already come to a point that it is almost invincible or unstoppable. This is what other countries have or have not understood which is why they ban or legalize bitcoins. Anyways, whatever happens, I for sure won't be leaving bitcoins.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WOW- Bitcoin Fees AREN'T Too High Anymore on: February 18, 2018, 11:47:30 PM
There's just so much FUD being spread around this forum and so few users who actually take the time to educate themselves.  All this does is un-arm yourself to being able to fight back against the worthless FUD.  If you're a bitcoin supporter than do your homework and educate yourself so that you can help stop the spreading of the many bitcoin misconceptions.

Everyone should be aware that the Lighting Network has been implemented. While the process will take a little time, it's off to a great start (If you're unaware of the L.N. , how it works, or need further clarification please check out this short/easy read article - https://medium.com/@melik_87377/lightning-network-enables-unicast-transactions-in-bitcoin-lightning-is-bitcoins-tcp-ip-stack-8ec1d42c14f5).

One of the last blocks mined- (Block #509796) -minimum fee paid was 2.77 sat/Byte. This represents a fee of around BTC0.000005 ($0.05) for an average sized transaction.

Fee Chart:

Once the L.N. is up and running, when all wallets add it to their platform (as well as the likes of SegWit)..things will be that much brighter for an already improved bitcoin platform.

If you want to truly learn more about BTC and educate yourself & dont like reading.. you'll find no better youtube channel than this one: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJWCJCWOxBYSi5DhCieLOLQ

Great post man, I was really hoping that someone will really post some updates about the lightning network since I cannot seem to find some credible information about it other than people saying how useless it will be and how it is just a just for now fix while there is no real fix for the big problems of bitcoins yet. Also, taking the time to include links for further information about bitcoins is also a great job. This will really help a lot of newbies out there that are too lazy to do their own research about cryptos.

You deserve a merit so I will give you one. Again, thanks for the information op, have a nice day.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do if Bitcoin Price Crashes on: February 18, 2018, 11:23:24 PM
What would you do if Saturday Morning you wake up  and Bitcoin Price Drops to 0.89 cents?
Also I would love too hear opinions on what would it take for something like that to happen.
I imagine President Trump would have to outlaw bitcoin or something of that magnitude at this
point right  Huh Huh Huh Huh
or even better What would you do if Bitcoin Skyrockets too 2,5 million USD per Bitcoin  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked
HOLY CHIP!!! I would Buy my own Island and make myself The king and have hundreds of children with my hundreds of wives
because I would immediately divorce This one definitely trade her in  for someone who doesn't talk so much blah blah blah .....
and is always moving my damm shoes Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry
IF I PUT MY SHOES SOMEWHERE I WANT TO FIND THEM THERE IF I WANTED THEM IN THE CLOSET I WOULD PUT THEM THERE

Wow man, those are a lot of emojis. lol. But anyways, if ever I get caught in a situation when the prices of bitcoins drops drastically from thousands to cents, I would just probably go all in and wait things out even when it takes forever. Because if I already have lost a pretty huge money, there simply is no more point in cutting off losses when you barely have reason to do so.

Now, If ever prices get to 2.5 million dollars, I would probably live the dream but not abandon my wife. She has been very good and supportive to me. Although sometimes we may have misunderstandings, it ain't enough for me to lose my feelings for her. Anyways, besides living my dreams, I would set a big fund to share my possessions to the less fortunate.
288  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoins hit 30K before the end of this year? on: February 18, 2018, 11:12:27 PM
Will Bitcoins hit 30K before the end of this year?

Do you also have kind of assumption? I already have...

Well, if you go ahead and look at the past years of bitcoins, you will clearly see after your observation that there is somehow a pattern every year. Although not as accurate and exact as we want it to be, it can really be a big help to make you have a grasp on what may happen or at least be a little be prepared so you can make good decisions on what your actions will be on specific times of the year. Now, for the price, a wild guess is about morethan $40k-$50k that's just a wild speculation on what I have observed, but I really do think that it really is possible to happen within this year.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now - should or not? on: February 18, 2018, 11:01:48 PM
I saw the bad news about the bitcoin  Sad , I feel unhappy because I'm going to invest into bitcoin  Roll Eyes . Whether it booms again or continues down to death. Should I start with $450 now? If it's possible, please tell me where to begin.
My colleagues advise me to use ETH, but i just found another name Nextycoin. The Nextyplatform seems to new, i wonder it will lead more oppoturnities, by contrast, ETH's old and likely to more reliable.  Cheesy
Which one should I choose? Anyone gives me some info. about them or other names, pls.
Thanks  Grin
I think one should invest now as prices of bitcoin are low. But I personally think that it depends on person that if he wants to invest or save money. But investing is a much more fast way of increasing your money and gaining profits on your initial investment. One should invest right now. As prices of bitcoin are expected to increase in the future. This is evident from the increasing bitcoin popularity and demand among the people around the world.

Yup, you are absolutely right. Investing now would be a very good idea while the prices are still low. Because right now we can already see that bitcoin is starting to go up in value again and I really do think that bitcoin will really be able to jump into high values again in the next few weeks. specially when the lightning network technology gets implemented. Although I still do suggest that people only invest money that they can afford to lose because we can never ever be sure when it comes to cryptos. Cryptos are just too unpredictable to trust all your wealth into.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy when market is Red on: February 18, 2018, 10:49:43 PM
Buy when market is Red, a trick to successful trading. Also dont put buy orders ahead of time.

Well, I think you forgot that knowing what you are investing on is also a very vital thing if you really wanna have big profits or to at least not be crying over lost capital. Because obviously, some of the coins are red for a reason and not just because they are being dumped recklessly by weak hands and dumb investors. Be sure that you really do check backgrounds and do not take any chances on any of your investments. Knowing to buy on red is good, but knowing if a coin is worthy buying on red is either worthy or not is better. Please do always keep that in mind. good day Smiley
291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BEST EXCHANGE PLATFORM? on: February 18, 2018, 10:34:28 PM
YOBIT, CRYPTOPIA, BINANCE? WHICH ONE?HuhHuhHuh??

Well, to be honest op, there really are a lot of better exchanges out there that are really easy to use and safe. But if I were to use one of the three, I will be choosing to use BINANCE. I choose this because I have already been using it for quite some time also since I can be able to use it even when I am not at home on my pc or laptop. I just like the idea of having an exchange that can be used on mobile phones which is pretty convenient if you ask me. But hey, this is not just the reason why I use it. It is also very easy to use and trustworthy. But still, it isn't my top exchange and just one of my favorites.
292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60% of world population cannot access computer so Bitcoins will fail. on: February 18, 2018, 09:59:18 PM
...compared to say u.s. dollar bills which you can hold in your hand or stuff in your mattress.

this is why bitcoins will not go mainstream because majority of human beings on this planet do not have access to a computer.

successful gold standards are things like toyota trucks, ak-47's, u.s. c-notes which thrive in places like afghanistan and africa.

Well, you do know that the world doesn't stop rotating right? Well the same thing goes with the things that are in it. Which is us humans and the progress we have with different kinds of technologies. Clearly, in the next few years, fast and reliable internet connections will really be able on remote areas also. which is why we really cannot say that bitcoins will fail. And even when it does, I really do not think that having only 40% of people that have internet will even matter because problems like this can really be easily solved by great innovations with the support of great country leaders all over the world.
293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin loses its popularity ? on: February 18, 2018, 09:41:29 PM
Right now there are more coins available in the market which gives you more profit than bitcoin.
Bitcoin price is also not stable.
All these factors affect its popularity ??
What you think, still bitcoin is more popular ?

Actually i still believe that bitcoin is remaining its popularity in the market, because even those chaos happen in previous month, due to dropping of its price value consecutive three times, and banning of bitcoin in south korea, and the declaration of china,to prohibiting all foreign ICO platform, the bitcoin is still disame remain its name in the world of cryptocurrency, actuallybitcoin is going back to its normal price now and its continue to pump now in the exchange market.

Umm, I think that you should really do read a lot and that you probably do have to start reading a lot about cryptos now. Because if you haven't known yet, Most of the fud out there are false news some are mostly fabricating real news into becoming something that spreads bad news for all the cryptos in the crypto world. specially those puppet medias that are ran by their master puppeteer. Now if you talk about bitcoin being able to protect and increase its popularity, that is absolutely true since bitcoins have completely come across a lot of adversities and challenges that it has obviously overcame. But still, we can never know what may happen tomorrow, so at least take as much advantage of it as much and as fast as you can while it is still here, because when it disappears, there will obviously be no more, as in no more, zero.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: growing the Bitcointalk.org community on: February 18, 2018, 09:22:46 PM
Hi everyone,
I'd like to preface this post by saying, Im not begging for anything. Im just looking to start a discussion about possible membership reform. I have read the newbie forum posts and understand the system that is in place.

I am fairly new to cryptocurrency, so Ive got a lot to learn. I have however been using the TOR browser for quite some time, and believe in its value. That is why I  am interested in the ONION coin airdrops. I do realize that there are specific requirements that need to be fulfilled to be eligible for the drops. However, for someone who is new to crypto and is still learning; the required steps to gain merits on this board seem a little steep. I would love to be part of this growing community and to contribute to the discussions; but because I am new, I have not gained the knowledge to respond in an educated manner to many of the posts. Therefore I'm not going to put some bullshit up there just so I can gain merits. There needs to be a better way to do this. If the purpose of a community like this is to educate and ramp up support for what we believe in; then it makes more sense to try to be a little more inclusive of the new members.

just my two cents because I want to play too

thank you for any responses

Well, I have already been in here for quite some time now, Although I have only been very active for the last months of 2017 last year because I thought cryptos were scams and all that sht and that I was to busy to be mingling around with scams. Which I really have great regrets on. But even so, I really think that I am still an early adapter and can still be able to take good benefits of being active here from now on. And this forum really has been a very great source of valuable information and a great source of small income to play with in trading until I get to master it and do invest real money in it. And to be honest, obvious spamming of post that are completely thoughtless, hard to understand and even copy pasted has really become a very big problem for this forum. And I really do think that in this way, it will slowly recover since it will require a huge effort to get merits, which can get you to a higher rank here in this forum that obviously has better benefits than your last rank, It was really a great idea to have a merit system like this.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Really End World Poverty? on: February 18, 2018, 08:55:13 PM
Can bitcoin really do anything to solve world poverty problem? Brian Singer certainly think so. He thinks that Bitcoin can bring minimum everyday earning for people more swiftly than any other economy system.

Is it possible?

http://www.forbes.com/sites/steveforbes/2015/04/02/how-bitcoin-will-end-world-poverty/

Well obviously, it really is easy to know what the answer to that question is when you look at the current events and how people nowadays act towards any other people in regards to their life statuses, like on how people only care when someone is rich, handsome/beautiful, famous, or dead. Clearly, people only do care about themselves and for the people close to them. In fact, some even forget family for the sake of climbing on top. Which is why, most of the people today really care only about progress and improving things only if they can benefit from it. But if not? Well, they obviously do not care. That is why there is poverty. And I cannot say that cryptos is anything different from the economic system in every country. Having said all of these, clearly the answer is a big no.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you see bitcoins yourself? on: February 18, 2018, 08:31:22 PM
I see a bitcoin as a good inventor of satoshi nakamoto being able to vote because of this many unemployed help because it did some work as a job. There are three main categories of bitcoin mining hardware, each more expensive and more powerful than the last. This guide to setting up a bitcoin miner explains each of them, and talks about how to make them work.

What the hell are you talking about man? Bitcoin did not invent satoshi nakamoto. It was satoshi nakamoto who invented bitcoin(at least that's what they often say) because clearly, bitcoins is the currency and satoshi nakamoto is the human or the group of people who invented bitcoins. Or maybe you just expressed it wrong I guess? Well, no matter the case, please do recheck your post before you even post it since one word misplaced can really alter the thought that you would want to express into something different.

-Just an advice man, good day.
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you see bitcoins yourself? on: February 18, 2018, 08:09:23 PM
As much as I like the concept of digital money, I have to agree with the people above me and currently regard BTC predominantely as a way to speculate and make profit. Yes, that's a crappy stance in the world of cryptocurrencies and it really doesn't help to make the cryptomarket more stable and thus more attractive to investors. I'm guilty as heck. But the utility of cryptocurrencies is still next to zero and I've gotta pay my bills / products / vacations in fiat money so I act accordingly. I must add that crypto has taught me a LOT about the dynamics of financial markets and can now sort of recognize some 'red flags' on the market.

However, I do hope we'll eventually see a transition from the current old financial infrastructure to a crypto-dominated one.

Well, I gotta agree on you with that. Since like you too and all the other crypto lovers out there, I also have bills to pay. And obviously having an extra money for them all and more will really reduce the jobs I need to get into and replace them with jobs here on the forum and trading. Imagine a life where you do not have to think about what job or other sidelines you will have to get in on just to make ends meet, that would absolutely be pretty awesome if you ask me. So really, no matter how much we want to use cryptos as how satoshi has envisioned it to be, it is still pretty impossible to attain considering all the problems that cryptos have nowadays. Which is why in the meantime, we might as well enjoy the benefits and grab as much opportunity as we can to earn.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How do you see bitcoins yourself? on: February 16, 2018, 05:51:25 PM
Now obviously, the tittle says it all. I am just curious on how you guys see bitcoins or the whole thought of cryptos as a whole? Because clearly, all of us have different minds which is why most of the time we have different point of views about different things. Although some may have same opinions or believes on the same thing but it still does not cover everyone. Because some sees bitcoins and other cryptos as a key to ending poverty(which is something I disagree with but totally respect), while some sees it as an asset, others see it as currency, and so much more. I would really love to know how you guys see bitcoins because I think this can be a key to having a glance on what the future of the crypto world will be someday(although this is not for sure, I think it is worth a shot). So please my fellow crypto lovers, share your thoughts Smiley
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: February 16, 2018, 05:26:47 PM
We should choose solid investment options for our children. By investing in bitcoin, our children will live a comfortable life in the future. Time is flowing fast. Decide before it's late and start time.

You know what pal, I to think that bitcoins together with some altcoins out there are really amazing and all but, I really think that a parent should not put or let a child's future depend entirely on cryptos. Because you see, even with the invulnerability of bitcoins to extinction for now, it is still very unstable and can really be very expensive for now and totally cheap the next day. Plus all the issues that it currently has right now in terms of usage and legality, I really think that every parent should should diversify the funds that they are saving for their children's future and not put everything into cryptos. That is how a good parent should be. Yes, I do understand that success requires risks and sacrifices, but my son is totally a whole different story. When it comes to his future, I never, and I mean never ever take any chances.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long bitcoin will survive ? on: February 16, 2018, 05:06:15 PM
as long as there is trust in bitcoin, bitcoin will remain
as long as there are people who invest with bitcoin, and do business in it, but if you see everyone's enthusiasm right now, I can see a little bit about the future of bitcoin, for 10 to 20 years, I think bitcoin will still exist and in the interest by everyone. especially the real investors

You are absolutely right. I couldn't agree more with your statement. The reason why is because clearly, bitcoin feeds off the support of all the people holding and using it. And if these supporters fade away, then it will really be a big problem not just for bitcoins but also for the whole crypto world since it is the main placer in this industry. But as what you have said, I too do not think that bitcoin will really be dying anytime soon. Heck, I do not even think that it will ever die anywhere near my lifetime. Something big like bitcoin just cannot  be stopped that easily. Not to mention the fact that the number of people getting more and more into it are increasing drastically. Hence, I think that investing on it really is such a great idea.
