301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on market manipulation? on: February 11, 2018, 09:27:57 PM
I was trading in April 2017 just as I am in January 2018, and I find very few similarities between the outlook for bitcoin in these different time periods. The cryptocurrency space today is orders of magnitudes more mature than 2017. What is making me even more bullish is that mainstream speculators still seem to live under some kind of illusion that bitcoin is built on “stone-age technology that has failed to adapt” and avoid investing in bitcoin for this reason. I remain positive that the positive momentum building up around the Lightning Network can eventually serve to recapture some of that capital.
Let me know by the comment below!

You know what op, despite all the things that people say about market manipulation, I still do not believe that someone can really be able to manipulate the bitcoin market, I just don't see something like this being possible. Although it can really happen if a lot of wall street whales decides to team up and do it. But why would they? I mean, they are already in a good state in life living the dream. Why would they even waste time or risk some big values of their possessions just to manipulate a market like bitcoin? for fun? for money? maybe. But unless I get to see some concrete evidences that can prove this, I wouldn't bother worrying about it since I have more important this to worry about than this.

Now, regarding the lightning network. I really do honestly think that this can be a very great thing for bitcoins since it can really solve the biggest problems that are really holding bitcoins back from reaching full success. Although I see it as something that is just a good fix  for the meantime while there is no true solutions yet for this problem, I still believe that this will be enough to actually draw in a huge amount of traffic back on bitcoins or maybe even more when it gets implemented.
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto going to DEAD on: February 11, 2018, 09:07:43 PM
Lot of regulations apply for crypto these days.some countries ban exchanges and also TAX applying for them. And some countries ban ICOs.one of the major social media facebook stop all crypto ads.seems like crypto going to end day by day.market is falling too.what are your ideas about this?

I am not sure if you realize it or not but crypto ain't something that is easy to kill. Specially when people nowadays are smarter than people back then that the governments can still control. Obviously, having a taste of a little bit of freedom from the current out dated monetary system of the world is really addicting. And I am pretty sure that a lot of people here also feels this way. But just in case you do not realize it yet, people like you who buy into those sht that the fud spreaders are feeding you and feeding others with the same sht are the ones that are really contributing to the downfall of the prices. So you better think about what you are doing man and make up your mind. It's either you go against cryptos and believe all their fud, or have faith and spread positive things or great news about crypto. Because what every single person does if added to all the other people doing the same thing can really make a huge impact on just about anything.
303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Media is negative about Bitcoin? on: February 11, 2018, 08:43:36 PM
You have to know that most of the media, no matter the country, is still owned by some interest groups and are under deep influence. Many of them publish articles designed like some would like them to be, no matter what the true facts are.
And so it's with Bitcoin too. It's not bad to inform or even warn people about bad and risky things connected with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies but they often do it with false, not confirmed information and influence the people in wrong way intentionaly.

I couldn't agree more. This like what I have said is completely what is happening to the world right now. The media clearly isn't what is was built to be or what it obviously used to be. Everything nowadays are just driven by money and that includes the media. Which is why most of the time we do not know what is true and what's not. Lies are all around us truth as we know it isn't the whole truth anymore, we are forced to believe what they want us to believe. they are obviously just manipulating us. And cryptos? Well, I do not have enough reason to believe that information being spread by the media isn't fabricated for the benefit of them or the ones controlling them. Even if I didn't have access to this forum, and other credible sources, I would still not believe them. They are only using concern to the people as an alibi to overly stretch issues so that things will turn out the way they wanted to. It is just pure bullcrap, and I for sure ain't buying any of it.
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Media is negative about Bitcoin? on: February 11, 2018, 08:10:21 PM
Whenever a government announces to regulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency or whenever BTC price is in downfall, most of the media start to warn everyone not purchase or invest in Bitcoins.
https://www.bitex.in/a-class-of-indian-media-unnecessarily-damaging-bitcoin-reputation/

What is the reason for doing this? Do they intentionally do this so that even they can invest in Bitcoin and make some profit?

Well, I can say that what you have stated can really be one of the reasons as to why they are spreading all these FUD and negativity about cryptos and most specially bitcoins. But I think that it is more logical that the people running the media are the ones that really do want the prices to go down and are only controlling the media personnel so they can get bitcoins cheaper and be able to gain some profits. That explanation would make a lot more sense than the media men alone doing this so they can invest.

Another great reason can also be because the media men together with the ones who own the networks wants more viewers. Which is why they fabricate almost every story that they get their hands on. They even go to the extent of telling or reporting a whole story filled with a whole bunch of stupid lies just to make their story sell. This is the sad truth not only for bitcoins but also for everything else in this world. The whole truth is most of the media does not care about spreading truth anymore. They only care about money and business. That is our media nowadays.
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Korea back on track on: February 11, 2018, 07:30:53 PM
Good news, it seems crypto in Korea is getting back on track, as Bithub managed to implement new KYC. Seems like beginning of something huge to me Smiley

https://www.coindesk.com/korean-exchange-bithumb-is-accepting-new-users-again/

You know what man, as what the other people here are trying to say, there really was no plan to ban bitcoins in korea even on india. this is Simply because a lot of people in these countries can really benefit from bitcoins. No matter what the banks and the governments say, there is really no denying that fact. there are absolutely no other people to blame here but the media itself and the bosses running it. The media always does this to make their stories sell. All they think about are themselves and no one else. Unless this thing changes, there will always be misunderstandings that will cause a lot of fud. But anyways man, thanks for this news man. really nice to be seeing great news on times like this when almost every thread we see are negative ones.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 19 year old millionaire advice on Bitcoin on: February 11, 2018, 07:14:06 PM
Well, all I can say is that he is a very lucky person. He had the money, he believed, and made great returns. I for sure would've also invested all that I have considering that I had the money at the age like his when he had parents to support him with his daily needs and do not have to worry about bills and all that including his education. But, sadly, I didn't have the same faith as him. But even so, I ain't gonna give up. I will surely be someone successful someday. My ways in doing it my change but my goal and aim in life will stay the same.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to reduce total number of bitcoin circulations on: February 11, 2018, 06:22:14 PM
Is it possible that all wallets which did not have any transaction in past 3 years are considered inactive and only those bitcoin wallets which have had
at-least 1 active transaction are allowed to send/receive bitcoins.

What do you think?

To be honest, I really do not think it is possible. Simply because I think that the developers will never ever want to reduce the circulating supply. Heck, I don't even think that this idea will even cross their minds because clearly, a lot of people have lost their bitcoins because of losing wallets and forgetting private keys, while others have died without even telling anyone else that they happened to hold bitcoins. this alone is a already reducing the circulating supply a lot since the coins are forever lost. Now, if you are an owner of a huge amount of bitcoins and decided to put it aside for let's say your son's future and have been keeping the wallet that contained those bitcoins for already 5 years or so, would you be happy if this ever happened to you? think about it man all the hard work and the effort to resist the temptation to to sell for your wants will all go to waste just because of the said rule.
308  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin is slowly rising again on: February 11, 2018, 06:02:41 PM
With bitcoin rising again, will it take long for it to be stable again?

I'm really not sure about what you mean op, I think you just used the wrong words to express yourself, maybe what you are really trying to say is that will it take long for bitcoins to be back on track again? With the normal price increases and minimal corrections or something like that. Well, if that is what you really meant to say, then my thoughts about the matter is that there really is no telling for sure since bitcoins has already proven itself to be very unpredictable sometimes. But a wild guess is that it won't take that long till bitcoins together with all the other altcoins out there gets back on track again.

Now, if you really meant stable, then all I can say is that it will take a very long time before something like this gets to happen. because clearly, bitcoins hasn't been stable yet as far as i'm concerned.
309  Economy / Economics / Re: If the world uses a single currency on: February 11, 2018, 05:03:19 PM
If the whole world uses only one currency, I do not know which currency will be chosen: D. Conflicts can occur between countries.

Obviously, yes. Pride will be the cause of misunderstandings and hidden grudges. Just like what I said, I really cannot see anything great that can happen if this really does come true. Which is why I think no leader of any state or any country has ever suggested this idea or even discussed it with the media. It would be a dumb decision to do so. Lol. any public image who does this will probably suffer lots of discrimination. Anyways, the fact that every state and every country are different with one another having different achievements, resources and cultures is more than enough to kill the idea of having a one currency for the whole world.
310  Economy / Economics / Re: If the world uses a single currency on: February 11, 2018, 04:44:42 PM
If the world uses a single currency, will the economy be more stable?
This is a very interesting question. The sovereign nations issue their own currencies and are taken for granted by many people, but few consider whether this is the economically optimal option.

umm.. Nope, I really do not think so, because clearly, every country and state existing in this world does not have the same economical status, does not rise as much or as less with one another. Heck, can't even rise together at the same time. Unless all these countries and states have the same advancements, resources and etc., I don't think having a single currency all over the world will be a good thing to happen. I do not even think that the leaders of any state or country will even think of this kind of idea. It is just completely impossible to happen.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US Arizona Senate Passes Bill To Allow Tax Payments In Bitcoin: it will help? on: February 11, 2018, 04:06:47 PM
Senate of Arizona, United States has approved the bill to accept taxes in bitcoins and has sent the bill for further approval to House of Representatives.
It is one step forward to give legal status to the coin.  It will definitely increase the demand of the bitcoin and as a result it's price will move upward.
Good news for bitcoin family.

This truly is a great news not just for bitcoins but for all the other altcoins out there too. And yes, I really do agree that this can really increase the demand and of course also increase the prices of the bitcoins and all the other cryptos present. I can only see great things happening more and more as time passes by after this bill has already been implemented. Just imagine, for sure after this state has approved this bill, some of the states near this place may consider following Arizona. Which then may lead to a chain reaction or a domino effect. I just hope this really tuns into reality someday.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: History of bitcoin prices! on: February 11, 2018, 03:49:02 PM
The way I see it, the answers to rid all these panic sellers off of their worries are lying everywhere. As much as people learn in the past in other things, it can also be the way to go when it comes with bitcoins. And to be honest, I really think that if only this panic sellers spent more time in reading and knowing more about the thing they have put their money on before investing, they never would have experienced these losses. And even if they did, they never would have panic sold. They really have no one to blame other than themselves for the things that has been happening to them.

Although I say that there is not that much to worry about when it comes to the prices of bitcoins today, there is still something that we obviously need to take into consideration. What I am actually talking about is that even though the percentage of all the corrections that happened to bitcoins in the past years compared to this day isn't that alarming yet, the time frame that takes place for this correction compared to the past corrections is something that we haven't seen before. The crash is just undeniably too fast. But even so, for me, it really is not an enough reason to lose faith in bitcoins. I am not sharing this to spread fud. I just want to be thorough with my observation and share it. But whatever the case is, the decision will still be in the hands of the people whether they wanna gamble with bitcoins(continue doing so) or not(to stop).
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Request to all Bitcoin holders on: February 11, 2018, 03:07:57 PM
Either we come up with real innovative ideas to speed up transaction rate by 10 times, increase Bitcoin usage in real world, add more use cases for Bitcoin usages and Bitcoin becomes like Apple/Amazon or it goes down and down and become another Yahoo.

We need to innovate together to take BitCoin to 100-500k USD level.

No more innovations means BitCoin will die. Anything which does not evolve can not survive for long.

Well op, I can probably say that you are not that active in reading news about bitcoins that much. The lightning network is what's new and is a pretty amazing idea that can really change how things work with bitcoins. In my opinion, this will really be the biggest leap of bitcoin and will really be the thing that can make bitcoins reach greater all time highs again. Although this may seem as a fix for the main problems of bitcoins for the mean time while there are still no better solutions that can be thought of, it undeniably is still an amazing fix for bitcoin and is surely enough to draw in a lot of traffic.
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can be done to stop bitcoin price from sliding down again on: February 11, 2018, 02:21:44 PM
Well, I really do not think that there are a lot of things that we can do to prevent or to stop this kind of things from happening to bitcoins or to the whole crypto world. the reason as to why is because we all have different minds and obviously see things differently from one another. Which means that having the same wants and beliefs as always will never happen. Some will be negative and spread their negativity while some will be more positive and 'show great trust and faith that can actually influence some of the negative minded people. But the thing is, negativity can also do so much influencing as positivity can. So in the end, there is still not that much we can do but just be positive and hope that by spreading great news and positivity, we can influence others to be as positive as us also.
315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Arizona may the first State to accept BTC as tax bill on: February 11, 2018, 02:00:37 PM
Arizona would be the first State in the planet to accept btc as tax bill.  If this would happened, this could be the bench mark of other states to follow Arizona's bill.

https://www.newsbtc.com/2018/02/08/arizona-may-become-first-state-accept-bitcoin-tax-bill/

This  could bring also stability on the price of the cryptocurrency in the market.

OMG! This is such a great news! I hope this really happens and is not just a fake news giving us false hopes because something like this happening can be the best that can ever happen not just for bitcoin but for the whole crypto world as we know it. Just imagine how big this is for the crypto world, how much it can contribute to make cryptos more popular and change its image from being an internet scam as some people say to being something that is legally used in Arizona! I can already imagine some countries or some near by states to do things that are exactly the same as Arizona. Cryptos will be unstoppable!
316  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the Wall Street fat boys kill Bitcoin profits? on: February 03, 2018, 09:48:58 PM
I have read some posts and comments by senior members related on how the futures on Bitcoin are controlling the whole crypto-currencies market. Do you understand the effects? What your view?

Well, the reason as to why you have been seeing a lot about it lately is because it is a possibility that we can never really ignore. Although those things that you have been reading are just speculations, they really can do happen. Considering the amount of money and power that these Wall Street whales possess, they can pretty much do almost everything or whatever they want if they ever decided that they actually wanted to do so. Yes, it may be something that we normal people can only see in movies, but we cannot deny fact that truly, money does make anyone who has a lot of it be able to have access to things that most people are restricted, have greater privileges, bend the law, and so much more. Which is why I think that this speculation is pretty logical since money is the main thing that runs the crypto world. But no matter what happens, I really don't think there will be anything that can stop me from being in the crypto world. Not unless it becomes illegal or becomes an exchange for my life of course. lol
317  Economy / Economics / Re: If you achieve your target in crypto field then what you are going to do next? on: February 03, 2018, 09:19:38 PM
in my opinion is it will convert to half of money and another half again reinvest. what is your opinion and let rock together with my topic.?

You know what pal, If you really wanna be successful in anything you do, never ever get contented with what you have achieved. After getting your target, go for higher and harder targets. Because if you don't, the only way you will be going is down. You know what the biggest mistake most of the people make? It is not because they set their targets too high and fail to reach it, but because they choose to aim for a lower and easier target then get contented when they hit the mark. There is no shame in failing, everyone fails at some point of their lives, and this enables them to learn and become wiser and stronger. While those who choose to always play safe never get to go beyond where they are already in. Yes, they don't get bruises or broken bones, but they also do not get the chance to reach new heights that are truly meant for them.
318  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do big corporations accept BTC? on: February 03, 2018, 08:53:38 PM
Well obviously, there are payment processors that are currently present as of now to do all the hard work of estimating the payments for these big companies. Which is why this really isn't something that can be labelled as an issue or a problem in using bitcoins. Now, obviously, their decision into accepting bitcoins(assuming this is true and already happening) is truly contradicting the usual way of how a big company should react or decide in matters like this since bitcoins truly are controversial and a lot of people really do see it as something illegal or a scam. Specially the ones working for the government and the banks. Which is probably why you think instinctively that this is a wrong move for these big companies putting their names a stake. But you have to keep in mind that in life, there will always be times when you will really need to take risks to improve yourself, because if you don't you will be stagnated and be left behind by the ever progressing world. This is why they have taken this great gamble. The people behind these companies are undoubtedly brilliant people and are obviously very good at what they do. So I pretty much think that they do know what they are doing. Let's just be happy that bitcoins along with all the other crypto currencies out there are already starting to get more famous everyday.
319  Economy / Economics / Re: When will Apple accept bitcoins? on: February 03, 2018, 08:33:22 PM
Well, it will be a whole lot easier if we think about it this way, Apple is such a huge brand and is undeniably meticulous with just about anything concerning its product and any other things that will ever be connected to them. Now, try to look at bitcoins or just the whole crypto world. What do you see? Yes, issues. A whole bunch of Issues. All the FUD, the usage problems and so much more. Now if you are the owner or at least one of the share holders of this big company, will you even think about gambling with bitcoins just to increase your customers when you already know as a fact that you already have a lot of customers dying to get a piece of all your products? Yeah, I thought so. Which is why I really do not think that Apple will ever be using bitcoins or any other crypto currency out there as one of their payment options. The risk for their reputation is just far too much compared to the benefits they will get if they decide to use bitcoins.
320  Economy / Economics / Re: Will we ever live in a cashless society where cryptocurrencies thrive? on: February 03, 2018, 08:08:11 PM
In my opinion cryptocurrencies seem too volatile to be used in the future within a cashless society. For example, only a month ago Bitcoin was well above £12,000 and it now sits at around £7,000.

This does not mean I would not like to see it, I would love to be able to spend Bitcoin on Amazon, there have been rumours surrounding this. What are everyone's thoughts?

Damn, I cannot even remember how many times I have seen threads having the same though as this one. Lol. Anyways, in my opinion, I really do not think that the volatility of crypto currencies in the future will be a problem if ever a country decides to implement is as their national currency. The only thing they need to do is make their own crypto and regulate it just like how banks today regulate fiat. But something like this will only happen when internet is not a problem anymore for a country. Because clearly there are still quite a lot of countries that have no internet connections in some of their states.

Odds are saying so. It really is more likely that our generation will never have the chance to witness something like this happen. Heck, I don't even think that our grand children will ever see this happen. Lol. And oh, about the Amazon thing? Well, it clearly is just another rumor since the Amazon has been silent about the matter regarding the use of bitcoins to purchase products on their website. It is that or maybe I completely missed the news about that.
