341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not just know bitcoin but ignore bitcoin's tech support: Blockchain on: January 27, 2018, 02:17:32 PM
I have read an article and seen some videos on youtube that Hashgraph will somehow replace block chain technology... It embraces all features blockchain has with more secure, fair and faster transactions. It has improved consensus algorithm and said to be the future of distributed ledger technology.

Check this out...

well if that's the case, i think it would be best to be using that technology. because obviously, a technology like this can really do a lot to make our crypto lives more easier. i have got to say, the minds behind this technology must be very brilliant since they have thought of this kind of concept that can really solve true problems here in the cyrpto world. no doubt a lot of people will be using this. the only concern is how long till people see the potential and start using it. because the more people using it, the more it can improve. who knows? it might even get better than what it is already.
342  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this sideways price action killing you like it is me? on: January 26, 2018, 09:42:43 PM
I've been watching the price hover around $11k for what seems like an eternity... I'm sure we're all wondering is it going to boom soon or go further bearish? Well I've been researching and once this CME futures contract expires on Jan. 26, 2018 we will see some price action for sure mark my words, what's your opinion will it boom up to around $20k or shoot down to around $8k? I'm bullish, Bitcoin to the moon! At least until it busts, we shall see.

To be honest, i too have been worrying about this because i have invested on $9000+ and i wouldn't want to suffer losses or regret selling early. But still, i will never budge. I will stay strong and hold until December. I will never let myself sell my bitcoins again. Specially now that the lightning network is about to be implemented this year, i think bitcoin will be reaching all time highs again. Having said all these, i will buy more if it still sits at the same price next week and then never look at its prices. I will just hold until i reach the desired time of collecting funds.
343  Economy / Economics / Re: Bankers are killing the cryptocurrency market on: January 26, 2018, 09:31:34 PM
Look op, judging by your rank, i think that you have also been here for quite some time also. And if i am not mistaken, you should've already read a lot about not just bitcoins but also about most crypto currencies existing. And i honestly think that someone like you have at least looked at the history of cryptos at least once or twice on how they move every month of every year. Which coin,is why i do not understand the reason for your worries. I mean, don't you see that this corrections are healthy for the world of crypto as a whole?

Unless, you can show things that prove your claim, i really wouldn't be worried. Instead, i would be happy since this is a great opportunity to invest amd gain more profits. Just sayin'.
Yes corrections are good for the progress of bitcoin.I would say that instead of sudden increase in price in bitcoin and reaching ATH price of $20,000,it would be far better if the price rise slowly.

Well, the sad thing is, not everyone sees this. What these newbies want are straight and fast price rises all the time. These greedy bastards want this to happen because obviously they want to get very high profits amd when they already get what they want, they will relentlessly dump all their holdings and ride through the sun set on their Lamborghinis with their hoes. Well guess what, it doesn't work that way. People do not have the same mindsets, and the same needs and wants at the same time, everytime someone wins, there must be someone who takes the loss. That is how it works here in the crypto world. The earlier you accept the truth, the earlier you will be able to adjust and get used to this trend. Just sayin,'.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which would you invest on...? on: January 26, 2018, 08:44:47 PM
Hello all, for a few weeks I've been following the following coins: BCN, DCN, CND, SYS, KIN, RDD, ECC, CAPP, PND, LINDA, CJ, DAXX. If you would have to choose to invest in those, which would you choose??

well to be honest, i really haven't heard of most of these coins that you are talking about. seriously. the only coins that i have heard of are PND, LINDA, CAPP, SYS, and RDD and these five coins i believe are not deserving for my investments. just sayin'. but if i really had to choose between the five or from all the coins that you have mentioned above, i would absolutely choose CAPP, and SYS. since i think their concepts and ideologies are nice. but still, i am not sure of it yet since i haven't done a good amount of research about any of these coins yet. will probably look at all the ones in your list. who knows? there might be some hidden gems in there somewhere right? lol.

but just a friendly advice, try to invest on more on well known coins. simply because they are not well known without a reason. hope you keep this in mind op. good luck and hope you make the right investments. Smiley
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best coin of 2018 on: January 26, 2018, 08:15:19 PM
Ripple gave 110x
NEM 140x
EMC2 1700x
what's the coin now to go all-in on? Titanium? (suggestion)

well you guys probably have invested into a lot of coins and have quite a lot on your list. i too have a couple on my list that i have already invested in mid term last year. but on this year, i only had my eyesight on one coin. and that is bitcoin white. i cannot stress enough how much i like this coin. so early in its stage it already has a web wallet, desktop wallet, and an smartphone wallet. not only that, but it also has great roadmap, great white paper, great ideogies altogether with its great developing team that are clearly working hard to make the coin even more better every day. i don't know about you, but i think i just found a hidden treasure.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategy in selecting the correct altcoin to invest in on: January 26, 2018, 06:34:48 PM
What is your strategy when selecting altcoins to invest in to get huge ROI?

I prefer making sure that it's an active coin on the dev side, good social footprint and minable (preferably with a lower total supply).

well personally, things i do to make sure that i am investing my funds into a great ICO are looking at their website, their social media accounts, their telegram activities, their ann thread, their advertising strategies, roadmaps, and white paper. i also go and try to make sure the developers are real humans and have legitimate claims about their educational attainments and experiences. i go and research every background of every developer. to know if they are really qualified to be doing the jobs that they have in their team. of course, being minable and having a small supply is a plus but, that really isnt what i focus on when i invest. 347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💪 💪very useful bot with fees💪 💪 on: January 26, 2018, 06:07:27 PM
Here you can check the recommended transaction fees for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). Very useful, yea?

We propose you to share our bot with friends, the number of subscribers increases rapidly. Also we plan to improve it and to develop new useful tools.

great job man, i am actually surprised that something like this is for free. i mean, i personally think that a lot of newbies out there would pay a fair amount just to be able to use such a handy tool that can really help people like them that doesnt understand crypto currencies that much yet. heck, i even think that a lot of veterans that already have too much to do will really love to use this to make their lives easier. but nonetheless, free is better. lol. just saying that if it was an app for sell, i think a lot will buy it, specially when its cheap and has a lot of other features that users will find also useful Smiley
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arsenal FC promoting cryptocurrency on: January 26, 2018, 05:30:58 PM
Cryptocurrency is definitely expanding ... Arsenal Football Club sign a deal which helps promote it!

this is such a great news. it means more and more are considering crypto currencies which is why a lot of big personalities and sports teams that have a lot of supporters all over the world like arsenal football club are agreeing to advertise cyrpto currencies. this sure is a great step forward for the cyrpto world as a whole since after this, more and more will venture into the crypto scene since a lot of trusted and famous individuals are promoting different kinds of crypto currencies.

now for the coin, since it is a gambling project, i can probably say that it is gonna be successful. because most of the time, gambling projects like this really gain a lot of supporters. specially with this one that has the arsenal football club to promote them. i really see a bright future for this coin. i think im gonna invest.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's Airdrop on: January 26, 2018, 04:42:40 PM
Please someone tell me about Airdrops, what is it and how one can participate to earn tokens. Thanks

airdrops hmm.. brings back the days when i was in your place... i was once also very curious about these so called airdrops too. at first i wasnt too interested since i was into bounties more since it was a sure thing. but later on when i saw the tokens and coins that have airdroped succeeding and gaining a lot of traffic and value, i really felt bad and had a lot of regrets. which is why i ventured into airdrops. and had a lot of free dough for just simple tasks or just by inputting my wallet address. but now, looking at today's new tokens and coins, there really arent much great ones. most of the time i only see shitcoins and obvious scams which is why i never do airdrops anymore. although there are good ones, but not worth the time and wait needed. if i loved the coin, i would pretty much just invest when it comes on exchanges than to waste time on airdrops.

well, i probably have said a lot lol. but okay, this is how i see airdrops. airdrops are ways of various icos to make their coins spread and famous. it is eventually a freebie of some sort or a trial item like freebies in the local store. the only difference is that it is virtual and that it is not always free. sometimes, they require you to do some simple tasks to get your share of their coins or tokens. some of these include following their social media profiles or pages, sharing posts, like, posting a comment/reply, joining on their websites or even downloading their apps or wallets. there are actually things i missed to write but those are the most common tasks. the only difference it has from bounty campaigns is that you only do the tasks once(although others are too demanding and wants you to continue doing it to as many times in a week until the ico ends). but all in all, most of the airdrop tasks out there are easy to do.

      hope this helps Smiley
350  Economy / Economics / Re: Bankers are killing the cryptocurrency market on: January 26, 2018, 07:16:34 AM
If not bankers, who would do such a thing?
What is happening right now is far beyond the whales.

Bankers are just doing this to blackmail bitcoin and altcoins to force governments around the world ban cryptocurrencies.

Source: my imagination.

Very reliable source, oh yeah!

Look op, judging by your rank, i think that you have also been here for quite some time also. He just thinks like that and wants to persuade us about it just by looking at cmc. Don't believe everything you read on forums. I suppose this post will get many shitreplies: "Oh yeah! ****ing banksters!"

Nonsense. It's totally normal for bitcoin to drop like this. It has happened many, many times. Until we get down to $5000, it's barely even a crash.

Totally agree.

I know right? Just doesn't make sense. Which is why i wanted some proofs that can back up this claim. Solid ones. Because even though the cryptos are completely unpredictable and anything can happen, every claim is just as good as any claims out there unless proven true by the one spreading the fud.  Having said all these, my stand still remains. I won't believe this crap unless proof is presented here on this thread.
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does bitcoin crash occasionally? on: January 22, 2018, 12:09:56 AM
So, as many of you are painfully aware, bitcoin crashed around 30% over a couple of days, reportedly due to regulatory pressures in Asia, and a potential ban in China due to energy wastage and tax evasion risks etc. Reports suggest that China contributes as much as 70% of the worldwide hashing power, and yet we only saw a 30% drop.

Source: Report: PBoC Quashes Bitcoin Mining Ban Rumor in China

Furthermore, we saw 30%+ drops in other cryptos, even unminable, non-decentralized ones. So, conspiracy theorists, why do you think bitcoin really suffers these sporadic crashes, could it be large-scale market manipulation? Or is it simply FUD leading to a wide-spread panic selling?

Well, the way i see it, there are a lot of alibis that can be used today. Some will say it's because of the Chinese new year and other holidays, then, there's the price manipulations. Then there's another reason caused by greedy weak handed people that only came for greed and when the prices went down they decided to cutt lossess or simply take profits or panic selling. This is because they do not have enough understanding about how things work in the crypto world.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China cracking down on bitcoin on: January 22, 2018, 12:04:51 AM
South Korea indicates it may follow suit. Those are two of the biggest crypto markets in the world.

It's pretty obvious why the market is collapsing and has been ever since those countries announced they are cracking down. Without the Asian market bitcoin is doomed.

China's Shutdown Of Bitcoin Miners Isn't Just About Electricity

Lol. They are just a small percent compared to us. So don't worry. It will obviously be their loss not ours. They are the ones that are gonna be missing out. I see this price drops in the markets as big opportunity to buy more and hold bitcoins. And seriously , bitcoins cannot die that easy  because a lot has has beej a fan of this coin and if the lightning network comes, then obviously,  the prices will be cheaper and fast your hands.
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still worth it to mine Bitcoin now ? on: January 21, 2018, 11:56:51 PM
I planning to learn bitcoin mining, but is it too late / not worth to mine bitcoin now ?

Well, if you take the time to study Bitcoin and how it works, then i think you will get the answer that you are looking for. Go ahead, try it. I promise you, with a little effort comes little rewards, but with greater efforts, then the greater the rewards will be. But hey, that's completely your choice. Oh well, just go and check your resources. Add them all up and subtract it with yiur monthly income in mining.  Doing so will make you see if you have gained profits or not.
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of Cloud mining? on: January 21, 2018, 11:53:32 PM
I am new in the bitcoin world, and I saw this publicity on instagram about cloud mining, it claimed that I could earn bitcoins with any investment, even without having a hardware. I did a little research but didn't understand much, it seems too good to be true.

Never listen to those scammers. If you do, you will only get added to the list of the dumb people that became victims to these kinds of dirty schemes by those lazy ass scammers. Cloud mining won't really be able to do you anygood. It will only put your investments into waste together with your precious time and effort. There are plenty of ways to earn crypto currencies. Better watch that instead of believing scams like these.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the future of BTC when fees increase? on: January 21, 2018, 11:50:13 PM
It is inevitable that bitcoin's fee will increase eventually as its market price are also increasing all year long. Only those big transaction could not feel the high fee of crypto exchanges impose and the small transaction can feel it pretty well. If that continues, i think, more and more people or investors will lost interest of bitcoin that can cause an bitcoin to be stagnant or even drop gradually.

You are absolutely right on point there mate. This is what is most likely to happen when fees skyrocket with the prices because it won't be useable anymore unlike what satoshi had imagined it to be. But if the promise of the lightning networks really does come to life and get implemented, then we can expect such a huge increase in price later on after the implementation. That is what i am pretty sure off.
356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money Laundering is Less Than One Percent of All Bitcoin Transactions on: January 21, 2018, 11:23:41 PM
Nothing new here, the same claims were already made in by the FBI in not such a distant time ago. It's obvious that there are far better options out there for money laundry, like monero, since it's a much more private coin than bitcoin right now. I'm not sure how things will stay, when the lightning network arrives, since it does not only helps BTC in it's scale issues, but it adds another layer of privacy, since it uses something like Tor onion routing applied to tx, and BTC will get a huge boost when it comes to private transactions. Anyway, LN will provide an increase number of transactions all around the world, so even if the money laundry % increases after it gets deployed, I doubt it will increase more than the legal commercial txs.

I agree this surely isn't such a shocking news. Since it has been around already.and yes! Criminals would be using monero nowadays since bitcoins really do have a lot of supporters despite the things it is facing now. Sooner or later people will be buying back again. No doubt about that. And the numbers will probably doubled. And become even higher because of the lightning networks.
357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices dropped, should you buy? on: January 21, 2018, 11:02:45 PM
You bet! This is a historical moment. Something that doesn't happen all the time. It is like a Christmas sale for all the crypto currency lovers. Opportunities like this don't come every day.. which is why I am buying plus as much as i can hold. And i suggest that you guys do too. Because it really is a very limited offer. Do not waste is.
358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOLD your sh*t on: January 21, 2018, 10:47:17 PM
Stop buying high and selling low you are just draining the market cap...  if you bought something you should have done your homework and believe in the project and If that is the case then stop whining when it drops 30-40% following BTC.   Then you selll in a panic and poof there goes market cap....

Hold your shit and let New $$$$ come into the market.  Stop giving it to the millionaire day traders manipulating the share prices...

End of rant

I absolutely have the same sentiment. Bloodyhell. These weak handed People are really messing the market up. Literally! These panic sellers, although they do not mean it, always buy high and cut losses after seeing just a small correction. Clearly, these people really don't know sht about what they have gotten themselves into and just invested out of greed because they saw the hype on december. Oh well, fck these retards. At least I get to buy more of the bitcoins and altcoins that i like.
359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Question for all on: January 21, 2018, 10:40:31 PM
We have all read stories of coins being sent to wrong addresses (typos or badly copy and pastes)

What would you do if 100 Btc landed into your account? (unfortunately this has not happened to me yet)

Lol. Judging by your post, i really think that you are really a beginner and haven't put any effort into learning about things regarding cryptos here in the crypto world. Not even the basics at least. You should be careful about what you post because it reflects on the kind of person that you are.

How did i know? Simply because it is impossible to happen. But okay, assuming it really did happen and I accidentally received a 100 bitcoins, then i would return it. Minus the fees. Because i know how hard it is to earn that much bitcoins. It's up to the owner if he'd give me some. Smiley
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future is crypto currency on: January 21, 2018, 10:33:17 PM
Entire momentum of social media changed after rise up in virtual currency. people had started to trust on crypto currency.

Yup! That is truly an undeniable fact. Everyday, more and more people are getting into not just bitcoins but also into tokens amd other altcoins out there. Also those ICOs out there. All my accounts in social media sites are covered with posts and news about various crypto currencies all around the world. Quite stressing if you ask me. Because it covers up  that posts of important people in my friend list. :/
