401  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] up to 7 BTC for UKBT - £450 for the lot on: July 17, 2013, 10:12:25 PM
Also entered into a deal with lightlord over 3 hours ago for 8.5btc, havent heard anything since. I split the transaction tho and only sent 2btc.

Will wait until tomorrow morning to give the benefit of the doubt until taking any further action.

Last I heard from him:

Entered a deal with lightlord. Have sent the BTC about an hour ago and not received payment Sad
403  Economy / Currency exchange / [WTS] up to 7 BTC for UKBT - £450 for the lot on: July 17, 2013, 08:20:03 PM
Looking to sell up to 7 BTC for UKBT only. £450 for the lot, or £65 each. Prices are negotiable... make me an offer!
404  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [AVALON] - I got my ASIC Thread (Batch #2) on: July 17, 2013, 08:16:10 PM
So... is anyone finding this a bit of any anti-climax? 1.5btc a day.

I know I know......  Roll Eyes

A bit more when overclocked... 85+ giga per unit...

I received my 2 units 4 days ago. Good luck to those who still wait...

Granted, but I can't get a very stable 85, in --avalon-auto mode I probably get about 75-80 on average over 24hrs

Heat is proving a big problem for me (UK heat wave ftw?!). Anyone know what temperatures I should be aiming for?

Really can't wait for a water cooling solution…

Temperature play a lot for hashrate.... Now they run in a air con room ( 18 degres celsius) temp1 20 temp2 38 temps 3 39
+85 giga hashrate daily average. If I up the temperature like only few degres, they will run at + 80 giga day...losing 5 giga

I blame this goddamned heatwave, that, and the lack of aircon in the UK. Thinking about getting a standalone aircon unit, but they use 900w so wouldn't be worth it in the future.  Sad
405  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 0.25 BTC Bounty - Show me a Mt Gox USD Withdrawal :) on: July 17, 2013, 08:14:44 PM
Is there still a bounty?  Mine came through.

On 50BTC.com both of my avalons say they are offline and submitted their last share at 16:32.... strange because they are both hashing away still and they are 60 miles apart from each other! In completely different parts of the country.  Huh

Over to slush's pool until 50BTC updates my stats accordingly...
407  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 0.25 BTC Bounty - Show me a Mt Gox USD Withdrawal :) on: July 16, 2013, 09:31:12 PM
I cancelled my withdrawal last night (after 3 weeks of waiting), got the GBP back in my account today, bought BTC and sold them on here within a matter of minutes!

Take note. Wink

Having waited 3 weeks for my withdrawal from mt.gox (which never happened) I emailed support and got my funds back into my account.

Am now looking to sell my bitcoin by means of INSTANT bank transfer - I have waited long enough!

I currently have 3.1474BTC in my mt.gox account ready to send to the first person that wants it.

3.1474 for £200

Any takers?

PM me Wink

414  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone had a USD withdraw with Mt.Gox in the last 4 weeks? on: July 13, 2013, 10:38:14 PM
If not, where do you cash out?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=251895.0

There is currently a bounty if you can prove you had USD withdraw from MT.Gox be processed.

I'm still waiting for a £200 (GBP) withdrawal, nearly 3 weeks now.....
415  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: July 11, 2013, 05:04:02 PM
it appears my card is dead in the Avalon unit. What are my options if any? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Brian

I'm very sorry to hear this. Try opening a support ticket with Avalon, or you could sell the modules individually - I'm sure there are many people on this forum interested (me including) Wink
416  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: July 10, 2013, 07:19:21 PM
check all your power connections.

check every cable. All the ide like cables make sure they are all seated well and that you didnt bend any pins.

Nope, nothing changes. Have tried the it 3 separate times now. Ah well… will just have to keep it at 355 for now Wink
417  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: July 10, 2013, 05:47:00 PM
For me cgminer doesn't start when I try and add commands. Commands I have tried:

--avalon-auto
--avalon-freq
--avalon-fan

cgminer only seems to work with the default --quiet command

any ideas?

I use this

Paste it in the bottom options box.

--avalon-auto --avalon-freq 300-375 --avalon-options 115200:24:10:36:355

use a newer firmware from here http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/avalon/

Works like a charm thanks mate!

I have tried replacing the PSU with this one:

http://ocz.com/consumer/psu/zx-series-850w-1250w-power-supply (850W)

But the Avalon does not power on... any ideas? I just get red and orange light and no fans spins  Huh Huh
418  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: July 10, 2013, 05:02:39 PM
I have mine running at 350 (fixed), 20130703 firmware, highest temp is 51  Undecided and it is VERY LOUD! It is drawing 728 Watts at the wall.

I'm going to have to find a better place to keep this, under my desk is bit of a distraction!

420  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Is Avalon mining with customer hardware? Answer is here. on: July 10, 2013, 12:03:04 PM

Isn't this just all the new avalons being delivered with Avalon default pool settings? Each once must connect for maybe a few minutes while the new user updates their settings.
