61  Economy / Speculation / When will Bitcoin go to $100k? on: March 13, 2018, 06:24:02 PM
What do you think, when will BTC hit 100k or will it never achieve that level? Some have predicted that it will go to 100k and beyond even to 500k or 1M, what do you think?
62  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin changes the world on: March 13, 2018, 06:20:15 PM
By its nature btc will change the world, so if you are actively using it, you are promoting its use. I remember when Paypal was a small service that I jumped into. Now it is accepted the the local convenience store on their payment kiosk. Just imagine bitcoin being offered there Smiley
63  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: March 11, 2018, 09:36:25 PM
Its a pretty large market cap when you looks at the worlds fiat currency, vs crypt and vs gold. It has def moved up since this thread was born though, maybe at 1% now vs fiat?
64  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin down ( Mt. Gox is dumping ) on: March 11, 2018, 09:34:13 PM
It feels like there are buyers on the other end when these price dips and corrections occur. It does seem bearish at the moment though and we'll see what the next 1-2 weeks hold
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: March 11, 2018, 09:30:46 PM
That would hurt buying a bucket of wings at KFC with bitcoin ouch!
66  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does signature campaign really help to promote an ICO ? on: March 11, 2018, 05:53:39 PM
Billboards are effective on the highway you see them and kinda ignore them right? I do theres so many of them, but they must work since industry is based on them as efective form of advertising even though some / all have a certain degree of ad blindness to them, the same holds true with btt sigs I guess...
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: March 11, 2018, 05:50:14 PM
Better is a tough term to use. In what way better? Yes liquidity, transactional, store of value btc all the way. But don't discount gold, should have some diversity in all of your holdings.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a good investment? on: March 11, 2018, 05:47:09 PM
I'd say so too that it is a great time to buy Eth, it has so much backing it naturally from all of the ERC20 contracts and projects that are holders/supporters.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than gold on: March 11, 2018, 05:44:41 PM
In these times I'd say if you have the means, get and hold both gold and btc. While you're at it, silver as well, It is (relatively) cheap per ounce 16.30. It's all time time in the last 25 years I believe has been 4-5 dollars so it does have a 'floor' I'd say. So for good diversity I'd say all 3

edit: def hold the physical though, no paper or external holding company
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: March 11, 2018, 05:40:03 PM
I'm sure somebody knows who he is or was, depending on if he is still alive or not. Wonder if anyone has done a forensics profile on him? Perhaps can glean his age, country of origin etc. Also why hasnt his wallet been touched since the creation of the w.p.? Its a good mystery!
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin become a daily currency??? on: March 05, 2018, 11:50:10 PM
I'm sure it could become a daily currency again if updates are made to lower transaction times. But It's more likely another coin will take it's place and be a daily digital currency. Only time will really tell!
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is there such demand for Bitcoin? on: March 05, 2018, 10:26:56 PM
I think people really like being their own banks, and the peer to peer money transfering with low fees. And some love crypto because it's decentralized currency and all the different tech that makes the transactions fast, anonymous, secure, etc.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin Is Too Complicated for Average People! on: March 05, 2018, 10:14:11 PM
Thankfully the younger generations are growing up very tech savy which will help overall adoption of crypto currency, but It can definitely be intimidating and complicating when trying to get started. Hopefully more and more tech is created which makes it easy-to-use. There are a lot of nice mobile apps that could help bridge the learning gap and get more people into it.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Olympic athlete gets paid in cryptocurrency on: March 05, 2018, 09:55:48 PM
I think it's an awesome way to get crypto out there! Global even! Hope to see more of this.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: March 05, 2018, 07:58:40 PM
I sure hope it becomes the future of currency. We are becoming very technology centered as a society so I could definitely crypto taking over. The Global and decentralized aspects are a giant bonus too.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC for taxi on: March 05, 2018, 06:54:00 PM
I can see taxi's, uber, and lyft type companies eventually accepting BTC or faster transaction alt coins to do its job. It's only a matter of time before these industries look at Crypto like just another debit card/payment method.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After all bitcoins mined on: March 05, 2018, 06:17:27 PM
The fees will most likely go way up and Bitcoin will be more of a store of value coin instead of a transaction coin. It will probably still be used to make large transactions....houses, cars, ect. Will be interesting how many miners stick around for that when the times comes.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the future of bitcoin is it good like as past on: March 05, 2018, 06:01:37 PM
I'm sure it will make more millionaires its just a question of how long they will have to hodl for.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: February 23, 2018, 04:18:38 AM
I remember at least one super bowl commercial, I think one was td trade and forget the other...
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think this year will be Red? on: February 22, 2018, 06:23:18 PM
this year I think the 1st half will be red-ish, some up days, more down days, then by June-July timeframe, start upwards into the black.
