1  Other / MultiBit / Multibit has 2 transactions not found on blockchain for 0.00000001. Worried? on: February 16, 2014, 08:49:51 PM
Multibit has two random transactions in one of my wallets, seen by 4 peers but unconfirmed, is not found on block chain, and happened at the exact same minute on Feb 15.

When I hit transaction details nothing comes up, and when I say view on blockchain it says transaction doesn't exist, or none found.

Both are for 0.00000001, is very odd.

Do I have anything to worry about security wise? Or should I just continue ignoring this?

Screencap added.

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / 3rd GPU not recognized by windows. on: January 08, 2014, 09:18:00 PM
I have 2 5870's installed. Put them both in perfect. Have a dummy plug in one, works great, is recognized by windows and hashes just fine.

Got a third card, same 5870. Put it in, when i turned on windows it said installing new hardware thing. It said complete. Boom only the first two are recognized.

The riser works, It is 18 inches long, it is 16x, and I tried it in another card with two cards and it works fine. I have a dummy plug in the new card as well.

I read something about windows only recognizing two legacy drivers. Can I only use this dummy plug for one of the cards. Or should I just dump all this and try linux.

I am getting frustrated. Anything would help.

13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Paypal is on my side!! *Chargeback Happy Ending* on: September 24, 2013, 05:39:45 PM
So after hearing all the horror stories on here about paypal chargebacks, it is nice to finally have a happy ending story, so I figured I would share.

Someone (who I thought was my friend) I sold some bitcoins to a couple of months ago via paypal. The only transaction in my 2 years of using bitcoins, I have ever done with paypal, mind you. I have heard countless horror stories, so I always avoided it.

So knowing all this beforehand, just to be safe, I sold my friend a PDF file, via email and kept all the receipts and proof of shipping through email. Legitimate sale, and I have known this person for quite sometime so never though in a million years when I check my email this morning, I have a chargeback case. (Sigh Humanity  Sad )

Immediately I upload all the proof of payment, including the actual email, and call Paypal. Paypal puts me on hold and when I get back from the call not only am I informed that they are going to fight for me, but I am going to be reimbursed immediately for the chargeback, using a one time exemption, because of my years with paypal and my outstanding proof. So in literally 2 hours, I have my money back, and will notified with the case resolution regardless.

Either way it is a win-win for me, and I have to say being a loyal customer, (and the internet savant that I am  Tongue ) never felt so good.

Sorry for the tirade, just wanted to share a positive story after all the years of horrible ones people have had getting chargebacked.

Happy trails bitcoiners, and remember stay away from Paypal (for Bitcoins)!!  Cool
