These look really cool. I question the security of them though. Most people will likely hold onto these for a long time. Theoretically couldn't a seller write down all of the hidden keys and cash them in at some point making the coins worthless?

Currently there is no way to make a physical btc without someone putting the private key inside. However these are put together by Casascius. He is a well known and trusted member on these forums. He has made a heck of a lot of them. Check out www.casascius.com for more info. I mean there could be an automated way TBH, it would not be that difficult to make it either. However, on that note. I have actually gotten a few premade paper btc's, like bought them, I know I know. but I will say I never had a problem. It is essentially, to me at least, makes me wonder why would someone do that. Especially when there is SOOOO much more business to be had? It is quite a foolish thing to do IMO. If you need a quick dollar, rob a vending machine, at least you know that will always be there. Hahah.

Interesting ... but wont the bank ask sooner or later for a name with verification?
Nope, Welcome to Poland!! Note: These are the cards that are limited per year no? Like after 3500, You cannot use it anymore? I remember because people trade them on SR, and is used for a lot of gambling stuff. Like if you wanted to play on partypoker but live in the US and play on a VPN. Simple deposit whatever method, and withdraw on the bank card. Throw away when done, Rinse and repeat. See it as way more of a hassle then it is worth though. Very interesting though, let us know how it goes, I have always been curious!!

I think we missed the boat. People who ordered last June might get their rigs in April and make enough to pay them off in a few months. But for anyone thinking of purchasing one now, you're unlikely to get the unit until late summer, possibly later, and the difficulty will be so high that you'll be lucky to cover your electric bill. Of course, it depends on what happens with the price of Bitcoins. If there's more negative press, maybe some serious software glitches, and the price drops far enough, then maybe more people will cancel their orders, you'll get yours sooner and mine lots of BTC before the difficulty gets ridiculous. Unfortunately, in this scenario, you wind up with a lot of BTC that aren't worth much. However, if the price keeps going up and up, BFL will keep pumping out more and more units, and the difficulty will get so high that your share of the pot won't pay for the electricity. We might do well in this scenario: Bitcoins crash so bad that people stop mining, but a few hardy souls persist. I have a 18kW solar array on my roof, so electricity costs me essentially nothing. I can afford to keep mining a lot longer than most people. Then, after accumulating BTC for a few years, there is a resurgence. Suddenly, we're rich! Unfortunately, that series of events seems unlikely. Meanwhile, back in reality, I think would-be miners ordering today will never repay their investment. I agree. It's the people who bought first who will reap the rewards. In the next few months the difficulty will increase significantly, and the ROI on ASICs will go down. Just join a pool TBH

I am sorry dwolla is such trash. I have hated it since the first day I ever used it, just a overall crap service. Takes forever to get withdrawals, and customer service is a joke. I suggest staying away!!
