881  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: June 12, 2016, 04:46:57 PM
I can not choose the Bank and Bitcoin.
Especially because they have the same function, pay and get paid.
So, both of them are useful.
882  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: June 12, 2016, 04:45:01 PM
Just because the Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency.
Maybe that a cryptocurrency without transaction fees is created, the Bitcoin will still be used.

I apologize in advance if someone else already started a similar thread, I did a quick search but couldn't any. To the mods out there please delete this thread if a similar one already exists.
I just thought I'd inform people who are not necessarily following the price movement as this is a pretty sizable increase from ~$580 a few hours ago. Wonder how high we'll reach this time Smiley
It's really great for the Bitcoin.
Let's just hope that the value of Bitcoin will not drop after Halving.
884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: June 12, 2016, 04:28:50 PM
I think most of us use the Bitcoin as a currency, but also as an investment.
It is also a way to have some virtual money you can spend on the internet.
885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with 1,5 BTC? on: June 12, 2016, 04:26:20 PM
You can use these 1.5 Bitcoins in several ways.
For example, you can invest in profitable things, like the price of bitcoin, you can give loans to earn benefit, and many other things.
886  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the BTC go through $700 barrier before halving? on: June 12, 2016, 04:22:58 PM
Yes, it is possible that the value of Bitcoin exceeds 600$ after Halving, but could then fall.
So we are sure of anything right now.
887  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good time to buy bitcoin now? on: June 12, 2016, 04:19:40 PM
It's your choice, if you know that the price of bitcoin is low enough, you can choose to buy.
But in my opinion, the price of bitcoin is high at the moment, although after Halving it could go higher.
888  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can i enter a signature campaign as a newbie? on: June 12, 2016, 03:43:07 PM
There are signature campaigns that accept newbies, but paid are often small.
You can find a list of all Bitcointalk signature campaigns here:

889  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Are Faucets worth the time? on: June 12, 2016, 03:30:47 PM
No, faucets is a waste of time unless you just want a little money in bitcoins to start.
For a method that really make money, I advise you to invest some Bitcoins, solve captchas or simply register on a Bitcointalk signature campaign after rising in rank.
890  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about transaction fees in wallets on: June 12, 2016, 03:26:08 PM
I want to ask a question about transaction fees.
Why in online wallets like Xapo, there are no fees when sending a payment, while in the downloadable wallets, you pay fees?

https://support.xapo.com/how-much-does-it-cost-to-send-bitcoin

There is always transaction fees but for Xapo case ... they are paying the fees for their users. It's probably just a way to attract more users.
So, Xapo pay transaction fees for their users.
But for other online wallets, it is the same thing?

Afaik there is only xapo and coinbase that offers to pay the transactions fees to its users
For coinbase i think it limits it to 25 transactions per day then you have to pay (not sure read it somewhere many weeks ago)
So, Xapo is not the only wallet to pay transaction fees, Coinbase too.
You have no other?

Also wallet from directbet! They will not load any fee!
I've never seen this Directbet wallet.
They have limits of transactions per day or is it unlimited?

Thank you for having me explain how this works.
So, they can take our Bitcoins at any time in Xapo?

Yes. And to make it more clear: all wallet services that controls the private keys of their user's deposit addresses can do this.
If they take me my Bitcoin suddenly.
I can file a complaint for a refund?

Some do, some don't; if they do pay the fees usually they sweep the BTC from your wallet to their main wallets to consolidate all the BTC they receive so they pay less in fees on their transactions - they then can send any sized transaction as they have multiple inputs and their software can then pick and choose which inputs to include.

If they pay the fee it's very likely you do not have full control over your BTC, they do.
Thank you for having me explain how this works.

When the Bitcoin will reach its limit.
And it continued to grow, you think the price of Bitcoin will increase?

What limit?Mining limit, when mining stops after 21 milion btc or price limit?

After a few years, after mining stops there will be no supply of new btc and the price will rely only on demand.

If bitcoin continues to gain attention and becomes more and more popular, the price should hit the roof...
Yes, when Bitcoin mining will stop.
So, after mining stops, the price of Bitcoin will remain unstable? even if it depends on demand.

There still more than 120 years for it to reach its limit, and by that time neither of us will be still alive so why do we care ? I can understand your question only if you intend to leave your coins as a heritage to your children though Smiley .
I did not know it taking so as for Bitcoin to reach it's limit.
So, the Bitcoin will not reach it's limit before?
896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The shops that accept Bitcoin on: June 12, 2016, 01:15:06 PM
But how is the payment. The merchant gives you his Bitcoin address or it is with QR Codes?
Again, you're asking questions that do not have a general answer. Obviously, the preferred method is using QR codes. Here's an example video.
Thank you for your answers.
I'll try to watch the video to get an idea about this.

It isn't just a problem with specific countries (even though some have much more adoption than others). Local merchant adoption is lacking pretty much everywhere. Even though you can buy almost anything that you desire with Bitcoin (online), you can't do that locally (in most places).

to be honest there are some bitcoin shops in european countries such as germany or france as i have been there and i was able to use bitcoins in some places though only in few
It isn't also easy to find them. The only source that I know would be coinmap.

How are things in stores? When you pay, you wait at least a confirmation to exit?
It comes down to the merchant and the way that they're accepting Bitcoin. A zero-confirmation TX is acceptable for small purchases.
But how is the payment.
The merchant gives you his Bitcoin address or it is with QR Codes?
899  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 0.3 btc in a week on: June 12, 2016, 01:02:03 PM
To earn 0.3 bitcoins in a week.
You can use faucets, solve captchas, or invest some bitcoins you have earned.

I noticed that the shops that accept Bitcoin are mainly in europe and north america, why bitcoin can not go out and conquer other continents? the stability of the country plays a role in all this? how?

there are a few bitcoin shops at the moment online that accept only bitcoins and nothing else though there are only a very small amount, with adoption there should be way more
