But it is not ASIC-resistant! What a dirty lie It just has 3 functions to make hash: jh, keccak, echo X11 or X13 contains that three functions (+much more functions) and they aren't ASIC-resistant. Please explain to me if I'm wrong. There are no ASIC or FPGA resistant algos or their combinations. We can only say that is ASIC resistant now, as we speak. If price goes up and some higher interest is created then there will be reason for creating tribus based ASIC. But that's actually good thing if it happens. This explanation sounds clear for the context here. One more thing to consider is to make an algo dependent on expensive hardware so that the mining speed gain doesn't justify the cost to make an ASIC out of it. Memory hard algos are trying to do that now.

But wouldn't the SIGT you just bought need to be deposited into your wallet? Or the SIGT you just sold be withdrawn from it and put in someone else's?
No fi that was true you wouldn't be able to sell them right after you buy. You'd have to wait for the confirmations in your wallet before the exchange would let you sell again IDK the details. But exchanges can't work the way you're describing Why would they need to wait for confirmations for transactions between the wallets they control? They can choose whatever number of confirmations they like before they credit or debit you. They know there won't be any problems with the blockchain accepting the transactions. But you're right in that there's more going on that maybe someone else can explain. As far as I know an exchange uses their own internal ledger to know who owns what and the exchange "owes" you those coins. I know that ETH for example is a smart contract wallet that is generated. When it arrives it is transfered to the exchanges main ETH wallet that holds all the coins for all users. The unique wallet ID generated is just so they know who sent the coins so they can maintain their own ledger. After that the coins are collected into a single wallet. When you withdraw funds it is taken from this main account. https://mycryptostats.com That makes sense. But what, exactly, needs to be rebuilt and resynced if the unique wallet ID's are just transitory addresses & there's an internal ledger for a single "communal" wallet? Maybe I'm just overthinking it. EDIT: I guess they're rebuilding and resyncing their "communal" wallet (and all the addresses) while maintaining the ledger of internal transactions. It's not about users' wallets at all. Took me a while to wrap my head around it. Yeah. This understanding seems logical to me as well. As long as the total amount of SIGN coins in their exchange is not changing (as deposit / withdrawals are disabled), they can move it around in their internal ledger as part of exchanges between users even if its not registered in the blockchain.

Can we get a answer from the DEV's on WTF is going on with Cryptopia, this is total horse shit. This it hold coins captive what gives them the right to hold our coins!
The following quote is from (un)official cryptopia thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1669443.msg21913121#msg21913121@dodopool - We've been working with the SIGT team to deal with these problems which are with SIGT and not with Cryptopia. The SIGT wallet wasn't designed to work on an enterprise level and so it has major problems no matter what kind of hardware we put on it. You're right that your wallet with a few addresses and a handful of transactions will sync in a manner of hours. But if you have tens of thousands addresses with over a million inputs and you're wallet was involved in up to 50 transactions per block since it was listed... then it's a slightly different story. Since 2 of the 3 wallets that were importing our keys have corrupted their leveldbs, we're assuming plan A isn't going to work. Plan B is to gonna be to import the keys a few hundred at a time so we can consolidate the inputs back into our hot wallet so that users can withdraw and we can delist.
did you try asking yobit how they solved this? or novaexchange? these problems which are with SIGT and not with Cryptopia
I am fairly certain when it works on other exchanges and not cryptopia, it is a problem with your excange With more exchanges coming into play now, we will know soon enough if its the wallet transaction scaling issue or something Cryptopia did wrong.

Ah yes... We're back baby! Let the haters hate, let the ones who wanted us to sell out stuff their pillows with their money. I say this because it seems like everyone thinks our return is a joke. Well Anyway moving forward I've personally promised everyoine on twitter and discord to make progress over this comijng week as proof that we haven't left. I'll leave it at that and let everyone just see for themselves. We'll be in touch here again on Monday with the announcement of the upcoming upcoming update and roll it out as well. More to follow after that. Wanted to finally thank anyone and everyone who still supports us and stuck through the "dark times" of silence the occurred while I had to figure out things personally in my own life. Looking forward to the future with you all - Jon Lead developer of Cryptocoderz Cryptocoderz@gmail.comGreat! I should find my wallet backup of this and spin up the coin daemon soon. Is there any new wallet version coming out by Monday or I should just go ahead with the current stable one?

I decided to try this process out of curiosity and i sent one exor to the elix address, when i checked my account i got one elix, is that how it is should be; have i missed something or i have messed things up ?
Whats you address? I'll send you 1 EXOR. To create batches of EXOR, you can send any amount from one address to another. I suggest sending 0.001 EXOR to your parent address. Also, take into account that you will loose 1 of the 10 chances to generate/mine EXOR when you transfer from child to parent. Based on time the amount you receive with this process differ; the more you wait, the more you get.

NovaExchange TME RecoveryThe ELIX developers are moving forward with a plan to recover TME locked in NovaExchange. As NovaExchange has not initiated plans to work with the developers to remove this TME, the developers have chosen an alternative option. The process of recovering TME in NovaExchange is not ideal, but we are dedicated to helping those who purhased TME turn their holdings into EXOR, which they may then turn into ELIX. Note: If NovaExchange opens withdrawals or deposits, the developers will not be able to move forward with this plan but will consider alternative possibilities. To recover TME you have stuck in NovaExchange: 1. Move all digital assets except your TME out of your NovaExchange account. 2. Change your email if you wish to protect your privacy. 3. Create and set a temporary password for your account. Email elixirtoken@gmail.com with the following information: 1. Your NovaExchange username and temporary password. 2. The address to which you would like an equal amount of EXOR credited. This should be a personal wallet, not an exchange wallet. If you use an exchange wallet, you will not be able to access your EXOR. We will then email back with a request #, which will be used to organize this process. Afer the removal of TME from NovaExchange (scheduled for September 30th), the developers will credit the addresses specified with EXOR. Please be patient regarding email commmunications as we expect to receive many claims. Addresses will be credited after the delisting of TME to make sure the process goes smoothly. You can follow the progress of recovery claims via this document: TME Recovery ClaimsThank you for your patience. This is a good move by the dev to support the community who stood by the coin, rather than ignoring the situation. Still it can be a bit tedious for people who hold a lot of other crypto coins in that exchange. Too bad no exchange provide the "Sign message with address" functionality, but for obvious reasons indeed.

Yes, afaik the transaction will still be on the blockchain only appearing when wallet online and fully synced but as you said i assume you do miss still some transactions. The beauty of RAIN being the rewards are random
Hope this helps
i bought some coins for check how much % stake they give, but unfortunately my block size is just 2k , and 15 days, no reward wallet is online 24/7 and fully synced. should i buy more to increase weight of wallet to get reward? In the debug console, type in "getstakinginfo" and verify both "enabled" and "staking" are shown as true. Also, there you can see "expectedtime" in epoch, by when you would get the stake rewards. did this thanks for the info the thing is that I received expected time as 2232064 using this epoc to date conversor I get 26/01/1970 17:01:04 so I'm clearly doing something wrong but If I just put the cursor above the small cloud on the wallet I get a weight of 2353, the network weight and expected time to earn reward on 25 days. I'd like to understand better what does the weight means as well. gonna look into that. Oops.. looks like I'm wrong about "expectedtime" format as epoch. It's definitely something else. Let me dig a bit in the codebase
