101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ShadowCash (SDC): The Billion Dollar Baby! on: August 30, 2016, 12:04:51 PM
Can you walk me through the process of anonymously purchasing a pack of gum through the SDC marketplace? Or any darknet transaction for that matter.

Is it going to encrypt my emailadres or home adress as well?

... Be honest in all ways, including plans, the progress, and the unfortunate pitfalls ...

It would seem this week starts for me in the unfortunate way of having to relay an undesirable message I just received from Coinify to the EverGreenCoin community.

Hello Steven

We are currently not interested in adding Evergreencoin but will keep an eye on it in the future.

Thanks!
Lasse

At least they are now aware of EverGreenCoin and we have hopefully planted the seed for future addition. Of course, we will continue to pursue other payment processing gateways in the meantime.

They probably need some more development (solar staker). Any ETA for the upcoming website?
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | POS | Assets | Names | Polls | Automated Transactions | Social Network on: August 08, 2016, 03:27:20 PM
I just read the post of crowetic. This is the great things for me today. Now QORA 's price is increased already. Thank so much for crowetic and Dev.team

This is just the beginning..More things will follow suit

Soon, QORA will take over ETH/ETC and have a $1B marketcap...Smart contracts are so exciting

Lol always enjoy to read Fantasy story's, a increase oke, maybe 100 sat one day but come one overtake ETH lol.

ETH's big selling point was Smart Contracts, but both Qora and Burst had it actually working before Ethereum were even off the ground.  The only reason they've got the higher market cap is better publicity.  In terms of features and utility, there's actually no reason why Qora shouldn't be worth just as much.

Plus, Ethereum, as far as I'm aware, doesn't have ACCT support, so unlike Qora and Burst, it will have to be developed much further before it can do Atomic Cross Chain Transfers between ETC/BTC.  Both QORA/BTC and BURST/BTC without the aid of a third party exchange is much closer on the horizon.

CONTACTS! Some big whales and other guys with a lot of influence are invested in ETH and not in Qora.

Anyhow... i like qora much more than ETH!

Idd

ETH has the support of wall street and is too big too fail.

QORA/BURST has the support of nerds living in their parents basements
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EVERGREENCOIN The Beginning of the Proof of Stake Profit Paradigm Shift ???? on: August 08, 2016, 12:03:34 PM
How long will it take for people to realize that EverGreenCoin will go much, much higher?

Let's see.

It support causes that care for the environment. I've seen a few other coins that aim for that, but don't have a developer that is as determined as Steven.

It is Proof of Stake, and the network will be supported by staking wallets AND in the near future the SOLAR STAKER. How come no one else thought of that? This is a swift kick in the butt to all the energy slurping PoW coins. Look at bitcoin for instance, it needs massive mining farms that consume more power than a small village ffs!

Take a look at other major PoS coins that have vanished into the background like Feathercoin or Peercoin. I think Evergreencoin has a real case for itself. First of all it is easy to understand and everybody loves to take care of the planet. What appeal does bitcoin have to the regular folks? I bet they would rather own some EverGreencoin instead of Bitcoin, which only gets trashed in the media and only does a 7 transaction per second.

Oh, I forgot one thing. It isn't even a scam

Did you know you could also fill in a Coin Request Form on Poloniex?

You can find it here:

https://m.poloniex.com/coinRequest

I suggest everyone to fill it in. Below the criteria Poloniex looks at.

Quote
You can submit your request using our Coin Request Form.

Poloniex reviews coin submissions and makes decisions based on several criteria. Where applicable, a coin must have:
A block explorer
A website
A unique genesis block
A compiled wallet

We also conduct a thorough code review before a coin is added on our exchange. In addition, we like to see evidence of the developers' dedication to the project, community interest, and above all else, innovation. If you feel your coin is truly innovative, we want to hear about it. Poloniex never requests payments to list coins.

110  Local / Alt Coins (Nederlands) / [ANN][EGC] EverGreenCoin | Voor duurzame doeleinden | 7% PoS | EGC Stichting on: August 04, 2016, 10:49:57 AM

111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bitfinex Got What They Deserved on: August 03, 2016, 01:28:43 PM
ethereum was forked because it was flawed

in case of bitfinex hack, bitcoin has no flaw. the problem was with idiots who were using it and apparently didn't know what a cold storage is. there is no UNDO button here.

Ethereum wasn't any more flawed than it was specified to be. The idiots trusted the DAO code and they got the result of the DAO code.

"Idiots" have trusted the Bitfinex code and they got the result of the Bitfinex code.

And Wall Street took their BTC, but not for the money. These insider hacks come in quite handy for future legislation to abolish unregulated crypto's.

TPTB are everywhere.

Poloniex will be their ultimate move.

I was thinking of what the smallest unit of IOC (1/100000000) or the satoshi equivalent, is called and I realised that it doesn't have a name yet. So I would like to propose IOtoshi haha

So 1 IOC= 100000000 IOtoshi

What do you think guys?  Cheesy

What about I/O Crumb?
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: July 31, 2016, 01:34:12 PM
About the only thing I agree with crazyivan on is the fact that Tempus is obviously a Factom employee or one of the founders. Seems a little dishonest to not be upfront about that but hey fuck me right. There is a number of reasons why I believe that but seems a bit waste of time to go into them. Allow me to suggest some kind of disclaimer. You have too much information and are too involved in a project which is in a community hostile stage.

Am I wrong? Maybe, maybe not. You can't change my mind with your big wall of texts but I just wanted to have it said that I think you are up to something that smells a bit disgusting. And well I apologize for my opinion as it is kind of a unneccessary post if it is untrue and you are just a contributor but people should have it in mind while reading your posts that you are probably affiliated somehow on a larger scale than the rest of us which kinda sucks as investors into a decentralized network we should all be equal but that is rarely if ever true sadly.

I don't understand this kind of reasoning to be honest. Yes, tempus seems like an insider, but so what? This guy has been a great source of information in this thread unlike you and especially CrazyIvan who only cares about his own money.

I suggest Tempus to use his Ignore button more often and stop feeding the obvious trolls. It's what it's there for.

It seems some guy with deep pockets has picked up on it, because the price is about to explode  Shocked

117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the most profitable altcoin of proof of stake? on: July 29, 2016, 06:55:56 PM
NAV coin has an interest rate of 20% for the first year, but there are probably other shitcoins with a higher rate.

120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is NAV coin truly anonymous? on: July 27, 2016, 08:16:04 PM
So I was looking the other day at NAV coin. A lot of press came out lately. The dev team describes their coin to be a truly anonymous, decentralized, Proof of Stake X13 cryptocurrency. Well, Monero is aiming to be an anon coin as well and yet that is sitting on a market cap of 23 million, while NAV only has a cap of 0,5 million. They are releasing their mobile wallet for Android and IoS in the coming months and seem to be miles ahead of Monero, but seriously lacking in community.

I can't read code, I have read some opinions about anon coins being a myth, so I am asking the wonderful people here on BCT for their opinion about this coin.
