841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT still hot??? on: August 15, 2021, 07:46:47 AM
Binance has recently made a major push to make NFTs more popular on BSC. I'm still perplexed by the buzz and believe it's primarily a fad. They may be concentrating on more intriguing projects. I have the opportunity to claim several NFTs on Pancakeswap. While I think it would be good to have some trophies on my profile, I don't want to spend money just to be able to claim them if they already exist.

NFT is still hot at the moment and believe me its worth will be continue to increase. The true potential of NFT is yet to be discovered. There are so many use cases of NFT and specially the games which are developed on NFT are gaining new hype and interest. If you want to invest in something which can give you 100X returns, then invest in NFTs.
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Axie Infinity farming on: August 14, 2021, 04:04:32 PM
Does anyone use auto battle bots for Axie Infinity? There is some solutions on github. I know about bans, but maybe there is some tips to avoid it?

You know that Axie Infinity is not a free game and you have to invest on the players in order to play the game. So why would you take the risk of bots which might result in the ban of your account ?
I think you should play fair and avoid using this wrong tactics.
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin brings us true freedom of thought on: August 14, 2021, 03:20:15 PM
...
this really gave me a new perspective. there are many opportunities that we can take advantage of to earn money with bitcoin. for me, the crypto ecosystem in general is a very profitable job, I can become an investor, trader, writer, content creator, and so on. this is not just for better financial transactions with current concepts, but more than that, there are many good opportunities that we can take, especially in the midst of a pandemic that paralyzes various sectors. for me this is very helpful to face this difficult time.

You say "earn money with Bitcoin"... fact is that Bitcoin is the money, so when you earn Bitcoins, you are actually earning money! Money, as something valuable, something you can exchange for other valuable things!

"Bitcoin brings us true freedom of thought"... before that Bitcoin show us there are alternatives to the current economic centralized systems! And that is what opens your mind... why to be a slave of your country and bank, and to do what they want you to do, to pay fees as they set up, why all that when you can be your own bank! When you can move your money in the way you want... yea, that's is freedom not only of thought, it's the economical freedom and independence as well!

Also having the fait currency means that you are the slave of the government or the banks. The paper money will cause a lot of inflation and your purchasing power will keep on reducing over the time. With Bitcoin since no one can produce more bitcoins,  it have fixed supply the value of Bitcoin will keep on increasing over the time and there is zero inflation.
So keeping Bitcoin is more safe than keeping the paper currency.

844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The more popular Bitcoin is, the more valuable it is? on: August 14, 2021, 03:03:56 PM

Do you think Bitcoin will be devalued in the future?

Right now, no one can really tell the actual value of bitcoin. It’s too early. However, there are predictions in the crypto-finance space that the value of bitcoin could reach over $100,000 to as much as one million dollars per BTC in the future. Only a couple of days ago, bitcoin made a comeback that has taken it up more than 50% from recent lows. The future is bright, let's keep our fingers crossed.

If the Bitcoin value falls by 10,000 or 20000$ , even  then it doesn't mean that the Bitcoin is devalued. In the long terms the Bitcoin will always be high in the prices. We should not be worried about the dump which Bitcoin takes while making the new all times high.

Another thing that what should be the true value of Bitcoin is no one can tell it may be $1000000 or even more.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When sell holding alt coin in profit? on: August 14, 2021, 11:01:38 AM
when to sell & when to buy? yes of course you sell altcoin hodling that you have in your bag when you make a profit. You should not be confused about selling profit, because you know your buy price. You know the current trading rate all you have to do is calculate your profit percentage then decide to take it or wait for more profit margin and I think simple.
Actually it's not complicated to run and understand because everyone always likes to buy at a low price, then sell it at a high price even though you have to be patient for a certain time because it's not necessarily when you buy it, the coin will go up immediately.

If you buy a coin from the support, then most likely it will go up from your buying price. Most people usually does not know trading and buy the coin just based on the wish that it will keep going up.

Also you should always buy the altcoin with stop loss, so that if the coin prices start to dump, your portfolio is not stuck due to this reason.
846  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: August 14, 2021, 07:31:35 AM
If bitcoin goes up a lot, would the fees also go up?
If the dollar value of bitcoin goes up, the fees (in terms of satoshis) wouldn't increase. They would either stay the same or the devs would decrease the minimum withdrawal requirements and you would spend less sats. The only difference is that those sats are now worth more than what they were in the past.

Your mistake is thinking in dollar amounts and converting the values to $. If the withdrawal fee of a casino is 0.0002 BTC and bitcoin goes up by 50%, but the fee still remains 0.0002 BTC, the fee hasn't increased. It has stayed the same. It's up to the casino operators to even out the changes.

Most of us are not mature enough to think in bitcoin terms only. Whatever the withdrawal fee is, we normally first convert it in dollars and if the bitcoin price is higher, we think that the withdrawal fee is too much.
This is not the right way to calculate.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't panic on: August 13, 2021, 01:43:33 PM
You will agree with me that If you were a first time forex trader and entered a trade for the first time, you will agree that if you bought an asset and candles shouldn't that price is still going down (bearish) its highly likely that you would close your buy and open a sell order which is evidence to show that emotion and heard mentality could be at play. So to overcome this let's spend more time on these charts to farmilize ourselves with how price behaves and build confidence too.

The newbie and the inexperienced traders always make this mistake of panic buying and panic selling. Soon after they sold in panic, the market starts going up. They have no idea how the price action works and hence they are always at a loss.

A big misunderstanding is that people think that trading is the most easiest job which can be done without any prior knowledge. While the reality is that trading is one the toughest job and even if you are master in it, you can still lose your trades.
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: August 13, 2021, 12:47:04 PM
It is bad that our children are born to meet gambling as a game, which will drain and suck them financially and emotionally of the little dime they got.The internet is a tool that facilitates online gambling, but since it can't be scrapped off,we just have to bear, and make do with it as one of the disadvantage of the internet.
Well, here the role of parents is very important to control their children, to keep controlling their activities on the internet which often opens certain videos with smartphones. But in my place.. the video about the gambling site has not been clearly listed/often appears on youtube or other social media.

Normally the internet which is coming in our homes is not filtered and you can access anything on it. Since now internet can be opened on mobile too, its hard to trace the activities of the children on mobile phone. Unfortunately the world we are living in right now, it hard to control children from gambling. Even most gambling sites allow you to play without KYC, so minors can also play and lose money.  Sad

So if everything good or bad is available in the internet, its no excuse for the parents that they cant control their children. They should tell the children to stay away from gambling, monitor closing where the child is spending their pocket money etc etc.

Good parents always have a way to keep a strict eye on their children and they don't run from their responsibilities.

First of all, welcome.
I do really appreciate your site, it is a completed site.
At first, I think that this is a gambling site, but it is different.
But, why do I need a longer time to access your site? I think that my internet connection is good enough, but it takes a longer time when accessing your site with your cycle loading.
And, how do you list the projects/sites inside the sub-menu of Trading, Exchange, Gambling sites, and others?
Is it based on the top to lowest or what? If it is random, it may be better to rearrange based on the alphabet so that we can check every site easier.

Yes, the first impression of your site was not so good because it look a lot of time in loading. The site is inspired by coinmarketcap as the first time the site loaded, i thought i am landed on coinmarketcap but then realized it cryptomummy site. Smiley
Your site has lot of animations which is sometimes distracted.
850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting paid in Bitcoin vs getting paid in Fiat on: August 12, 2021, 05:34:25 PM
I guess there's no better one, since it's all depends on the person, based on their own perspective.

i think the thing is not that simple, if i'm not wrong all countries in the world there are laws that oblige people to receive wages in local currency issued by the government, there are also issues related to life pension payments where a percentage is deducted of the person's salary every month. these bureaucracies can prevent a company or someone private from paying wages to its worker in bitcoin. I've heard some stories of people who get paid in bitcoin, but it seems to me that it's something restricted to internet stuff and the government doesn't know about it.

People who involved in cryptocurrency might want to get paid in bitcoin, since they know its value, how to manage or use it, and such.

truth. but it won't be something formal, I mean it won't be a verified contract in some government institution between the employee and the employer where it states that the employer can pay salary in bitcoin to the employee

However, those who are not familiar with bitcoin might not want to be paid in bitcoin and prefer fiat instead. They will not understand bitcoin, and think why should they get paid in bitcoin. It'll be a lot dangerous too if after the company paid certain amount of bitcoin, then bitcoin price fell, those people will have the amount of money less than they should have, and since they don't understand they'll come out for protest.

I believe that even people who were paid in bitcoin and then the price of bitcoin dropped a lot they will protest

They should not protest because those who opted for Bitcoin payment should know that Bitcoin is not a stable currency and it goes up and down more frequently than the fiat currency.

Also in the long run getting paid in Bitcoin is more feasible because we know that bitcoin always increase in value over the years.
851  Other / Meta / Re: Do You Believe a New Forum Software Will Attract More Users to Bitcointalk? on: August 12, 2021, 03:06:18 PM
The disadvantage of this forum is that it cannot upload videos, only photos, and you can add links.
If you add a link, it may be another software. But this leaves the user in another software.
The advantage of the forum over other software is that you can learn a lot of knowledge, whether it is technology or the history of Bitcoin, and there will not be many advertisements in the forum.

Although i am in favor of the new forum software with more improved and advance features but i will certainly not like people to upload videos on the forum.
This is a forum, let it be a forum. We already have youtube and other streaming platforms for videos.  Smiley
852  Economy / Speculation / Re: Drop from $60k to $30k was part of bull run cycle? on: August 11, 2021, 10:43:54 AM
There is always manipulation (like what we had in the past couple of months) during big bull runs and the bigger the manipulation the stronger the signal for the next big leg up. It is also a way to get the market ready for the bigger rise. Imagine if price reached $150k in April right after it reached $60k, that would have been a bubble. But now that the correction and manipulation and the reverse bubble occurred the market is ready to reach $150k in August and $300k by December and $500k by first quarter next year.

It's too early to suggest figures like 150k by the end of August. I personally do not know what could be the possible target of this bull season. To keep it simple I analyzed the market on day by day basis or week by week basis and do not recommend to give targets after 3 months or for 6 months because no one actually knows what could be the price of Bitcoin in this time duration.
853  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin August 2021 Target? on: August 11, 2021, 10:12:15 AM
Greetings Bitcoin Talk Users,

As we have already seen the market fluctuation and the price dumped of BTC from $60k to $30k but in the last few days BTC is pumped again and the price crosses $40k. I think if BTC is not targeted again by Whales then the price will cross $50k within this month. What's your opinion?

Looking at the current surge  in the Bitcoin prices it seems that Bitcoin will across 50,000 easily in the month of August. For sure they will be so much psychologal resistance at 50k level and price mid-term may reach 45 to 42K but this is nothing to worry because in the mid term we will break the all time high.

Also the bull run is not over yet. So we need to take care of this aspect also while speculating the prices.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: August 10, 2021, 03:28:38 PM
The final medal standings for the Olympics 2020. As expected, united states managed to get most medals.

But they only managed to have one more gold medal than China.
I think it was the Olympic Games, where the US performed well below what was expected.

Although the total number of medals was similar to Rio2016, there were 7 fewer gold medals. While China another 12 gold medals.
I think the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be super interesting and competitive.

China is giving tough competition to United states when it comes to the gold medal and overall medal race. We have now 3 years before the next Olympics and there is very much possibility that in that Olympic, china will take the lead over united states. This will be an historic moment in history, if it happens.

856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba inu on: August 08, 2021, 10:54:50 AM
is it a joke or what?
i personally dont think that its a real deal to go up with.
Rumors that shiba inu is like bitcoin yet i dont see many websites using it. is there any earn-money site paying in shiba inu?

Shiba Inu is like a meme coin and we should not compare it with bitcoin. I would consider it a shit coin. Some people compare it with Doge coin but we should know that dogecoin is hyped by Elon Musk and there is no big personality behind shiba inu.
857  Other / Meta / Re: Irfan_pak10's Merit source RE-application on: August 08, 2021, 10:26:43 AM
Only sharing the link will not work. You have to quote the post here. Quote 10 recent posts which didn’t receive enough merit and wait for next time theymos add some more sources.
I think you are right because submitting application for Merit source just like that, without categorically state the reason while you have to be a Merit source i think bitcointalk controller been theymos will not pay attention to such application, as you said here that they have to quote at least 10 recent post that have not to been merited but it deserved Merit , is one of criteria theymos will look at to accept application, secondly looking at a board that Lacks Merit while people are making a positive contribution and submit and write the reason while such board deserve a Merit circulation or distribution because i notice that is not all the board people merit.

I don't understand why theymos has made it difficult to apply as a merit source and do all these formalities. Every knows that Irfan_pak10 is a trusted member of the forum and his contribution to the forum is also great. That's should be enough for him to become a Merit Source.

Being trusted does not mean that you will become a merit source. You need to follow the procedure and only then your application for merit source can be considered. Then again it depends on theymos, if he approves or deny it.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth vs bnb on: August 08, 2021, 10:20:48 AM
While Etherium is one of the most popular coins, there is no doubt that BNB will surpass everyone in the next market with the way BSc is currently launching new coins centered on Smartchain.

BNB coin is related to how binance will perform in coming days. We have seen that binance exchange does not respond well in times of bitcoin volality and also they are facing regulation issues and halting their operation in few countries. All this will negatively effect the bnb price.
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum pump on: August 08, 2021, 10:04:08 AM
the entire market is gaining momentum in the last few days back and ethereum have been on the lead in the alt-coin market, many analyse have predicted a $3k ethereum price before the end of the week but just this morning the price of ethereum passed the $3k price which have forced many price analyse just like myself to have a rethink about the new all-time high and have adjusted my prediction of the next stop price to $4k ethereum price before the end of the week.

considering the high and lows in the cryptocurrency market, what are your next ethereum price predictions.

I think after the London hard fork, the ethereum price will keep on increasing. The main reason for this is that Ethereum is now burn with every transaction and this will make the ethereum supply limited. In next few weeks, ethereum may cross 5000$ also.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins replace Bitcoin?!?!? on: August 08, 2021, 08:27:09 AM
Altcoins are never going to replace Bitcoin. It is not going to happen
Altcoins may provide better alternatives to bitcoin in terms of transactions cost, speed and reliability but BTC will remain the major cryptocurrency with the largest market share.
When all the BTC blocks are mined completely, the price and value will even go a lot higher

I agree with you that altcoins are unlikely to replace the king of crypto Bitcoin. It is said by economists that Bitcoin has become an integral part of the modern financial system. After all, Bitcoin is the reserve currency in China today. It provides offshore yuan. Moreover, all altcoins follow its trends, so I don’t think that any of them will replace it.

Altcoin may replace bitcoin only if bitcoin die. The question, will bitcoin die with no users, without any usages anymore in the future? I doubt it will happen as bitcoin user based is increased day by day and many non crypto projects started to adopt bitcoin as one of the payment method. Pretty sure bitcoin will be more known in the future, more people use it and no chances to see it die.

And bitcoin will never die  Smiley
Bitcoin is truly decentralized currency and no altcoin can match this. There is no way that the marketcap of any altcoin become greater than bitcoin. This is theoretically not possible.
