161  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Gigabyte Radeon HD 7950 GPU Card on: May 14, 2013, 01:46:22 PM
Awesome. Thanks for the info! I think I'll try that on the two I'm currently using.

Sure, np....if it works you can keep that third card and you'll probably pay it off in a couple months.  Actually, the power savings on all 3 cards will be the biggest advantage.
162  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Gigabyte Radeon HD 7950 GPU Card on: May 14, 2013, 01:28:55 PM
No. I read up on it and it made me nervous lol.

Ah, its quite painless really.  I've flashed every one of my cards (although mine have dual bios).  A few versions of the reference 7950 bioses wouldn't allow my cards to boot, but all I did was use a secondary card to boot with and reflashed the old bios (be sure to backup your stock bios).  Here's a guide on what looks to be the same card you're selling:

Not trying to get on you, but why did you not check into your PSU beforehand?

Also, you can run 4x7950s on a nice 950w (bare minimum 950w) PSU from PC Power & Cooling and they run >$150

Fair question. I just built the computer and put in an 850, thinking I was only going to use two 7950's. I ordered three in case one didn't work so I wouldn't have to wait for a re-ship (Newegg is SUPER slow to Canada, even using the .ca site, as I did).

Yes, I could upgrade the PSU (and probably will if I can't sell the extra card). Just seems like a waste since I just bought the 850 a month ago.

Undervolt your cards and you'll be able to run 3 cards on that 850 watt PSU.

The Gigabyte 7950's are voltage locked unfortunately.

Have you tried flashing the bios?

166  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] LARGE XRP AMOUNT -- 15k=1btc [BULK ORDER ONLY] 400K FOR SALE on: May 13, 2013, 09:54:23 PM
This gentleman is a scammer.   He scammed me out of 1 BTC yesterday. Please beware and I am reporting him to the mods.

I have no doubt considering his suspicious activities the past day, however, make sure to document everything and post in the Scam Accusations thread.  Thanks for the head's up and be safe, use escrow!
167  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] LARGE XRP AMOUNT -- 15k=1btc [BULK ORDER ONLY] 400K FOR SALE on: May 13, 2013, 05:19:50 PM
I'm ready to do this deal, I offered to buy 150k in my PM to you...did you change your mind?
168  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT USER "AlternativeCypt" on: May 13, 2013, 04:56:08 PM
How does this guy not have a scammer tag yet....I reported the thread he created to the mods last night (since he locked it) and yet they allow this BS to continue!

Because I never scammed him. I sent him the 20K PWC when I said I did. He clearly took that screen shot before I sent him the coins.

Woops, I meant to send that as a PM to somebody else.

I feel for you man, I really do.  To take the path you're on you must have had a shitty childhood (abuse, neglect, etc.).  Feel free to shoot me a PM and we can talk about it and see if we can get you the help you need.

Regards

Sold 90k XRP to LiteBit.  Smooth transaction, great communication.  Thanks again!
174  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT USER "AlternativeCypt" on: May 13, 2013, 03:31:44 AM
bdub resorts to calling me a scammer because I don't want to send him 13,000 ripples without him sending first where my trade history is more furnished than his, along with his post count among other things. How retarded do you think I am?

He proves inconsistency in his PM contrasted with his original thread saying he'd send first, I provide credentials, yet he declines. That's all good and fine but to accuse me for not sending first is absurd under such conditions.

I'm all about being cautious bud, which is why I use escrow for trades.  Prove to us that you are not a scammer by giving cycloid his coin.
175  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT USER "AlternativeCypt" on: May 13, 2013, 03:27:06 AM
AlternativeCypt is trying to scam again today I think.  He trying to use google docs as a way to get rep for trades.

As I am a trusted member, to which I have proof of trades here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqP7ysgWb2ZHdDV2aXBXNURBZnpmYjhhN0ZmMDBGOWc#gid=9

I will accept 1 BTC per 13,000 ripples.

Sorry, buddy. You cannot scam me. It's impossible to do. Why? Because I've built up reputation and refuse to send first on any account. You said specifically in your thread that you would send first if the seller is trusted. I've proved my trust, yet you want me to send first? Not going to happen.

Actually it is if you know anything about this forum LOL. Those are proofs of sales and buys from members in Alt section. Plus all the people in my signature can vouch for my sales/buys with them. I have more trading history than you along with posts.

Either send coins first to 17QpiiV5njFdc1andQiKskaBLpsPEuANSc or no deal whatsoever.

I was looking to 2 BTC for 20k XRP. Let me know if you're interested. I have other trades and feedback and such.

If you're interested in trading at the posted rate, PM me and we can make it happen.  The rate I have posted will be updated along with market fluctuations and is my best offer.
