341  Other / Off-topic / Re: specialty or "Jack of all trade? on: March 10, 2024, 07:45:03 PM
Jack of all trades and master of none is the complete saying which itself explain what you should do. It is not really possible for most of us to be master at different fields and it's not really necessary too as long as the one you are pursuing has future then concentrate on it completely but it doesn't mean you have to forfeit everything, you can try others as well but as I said everyone is not capable of reaching it.
If you have passion and love for something in your career, you'd just choose to be a specialist of it. But there's no fun eventually when you get older from there and that's why many chooses to be a jack of all trades and be a master of none.

I think it's changing the variance nowadays because even if they tell you that you're a master of none, you can master something that you're not fond of if you've been doing that for a long time.

What matters today is what's adaptable to you and will help you to survive.

You would definitely going to be rich in no time and that kind of rules and scheme wont make me comfortable in withdrawing my money.

It is going to take time and at the same time, you are charging for it.

We are our own bank if we are holding bitcoin. No fees, no waiting time and you can touch it any time as you wish.

Only those that have no idea about not having their keys and coins will be a customer of this kind of service.
343  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dragon Ball Creator Akira Toriyama dies at the age of 68 on: March 10, 2024, 10:56:08 AM
Yes I did just read that and it did make me a little sad. From my childhood i do remember watching the Dragonball tapes and then I did have to sell them.

There is so many memories from those movies. Rest is peace to him and thank you for making us these movies.
Too many memories and all of us have tried to become a super saiyan and also did the fusion technique.

yeah right the whole community is having rising flag now for his death and waiting for when will be His Statue be given as for sure Japan is so Generous about his contribution to their arts and culture .
again Condolences to all fans of dragonball.
Yeah, that's possible that he'd be given that memoriam as sign of respect and also his contribution not just to the manga/anime world but also for the economy and history of Japan.

last time i watched dragon ball tournament of power, and it was the dragon ball series that i liked the most where even in my city we put up a big screen like a concert just to watch each episode every week. dragon ball is truly a masterpice that akira toriyama has ever made and i and millions of other people are very grateful that he has made such a good anime. goodbye akira toriyama, even if you die, people will always remember your works.
That's a nice city and sure whoever set that up huge screen is definitely a huge fan of DB. I've missed that during the younger days when many of my playmates were watching together.

As Akira passed away, this is also a sign that we're all getting older.  Undecided
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake loses $615k bet on Joshua-Ngannou bout on: March 10, 2024, 09:49:15 AM
It is intriguing when a known celebrity like Drake losses with his bets. But these money of his can be recovered easily by him knowing that he's got some sponsorships and deals with his label.

While this is like a life savings to the most of us, this how the rich people gamble. It's like nothing on them but I am sure that there's a point of his moment that he's terribly feeling bad about such losses, everytime he's into this situation.

As that's easy money to recover for him, I also have some losses that can easily be recovered but too far to compare to him.  Cheesy

This is not the first loss of Drake when it comes to high stake betting. If you follow his instagram, you will understand that he's really one of the high rollers in sportsbetting at stake. Do remember, we don't know how much he is being paid at stake being the Ambassador of this bookie. And actually, even if he was on the losing side here, he's also getting something from it. Publishing his losing bet alone has some kind of money deal with stake. Though when he posted it, the results were not yet out.

I know someone already posted that bet but I want to share the perspective that Drake has 146 millions of followers and so the impact is quite a big deal here. And you know, people talk. Thus, a very good campaign for stake as well even if he lost this bet.
I knew it.

I knew that he's one roller and if we're talking about a real gambler, he's the one. He stakes a lot of money that he can afford to lose.

But of course for a pleb like me, that's already a lot and a lifesavings for me that I can't even attain to gamble that with one bet whether in a dice or any sports bet.
345  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Be careful with Citex exchange on: March 10, 2024, 07:50:09 AM
If that is their style during the withdrawal then that it only means they are a truly scam exchange.

But the mere question here is how you ended up with such random exchange when there are the popular ones? I always get to notice newbies randomly ending up with these scam exchanges.

Look at the majority, they are not aware of this exchange's existence.
346  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dragon Ball Creator Akira Toriyama dies at the age of 68 on: March 09, 2024, 11:15:47 PM
He will never die, he has created the single greatest character to grace this earth, Goku will live with us forever, and without him perhaps we would not know Dragon Ball. Without Dragon Ball we probably wouldn't know One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Hunter X Hunter, Boku No Hero Academia, etc.

We won't even know the iconic characters in the Dragon Quest game. And without Dragon Ball, Weekly Shounen Jump Magazine would have closed long ago because this magazine almost went bankrupt before Dragon Ball came along.

Goodbye Legend. Thank you for decorating our childhood.
Because he will live forever in the hearts of the fans.

Now all my VHS tapes will surely have value more than when he is still alive? joke just wanted to make us smile because of this sad news .

Death is just parting us physically but Dragon Ball will always be Akira , Deepest condolences to the family .
Any memorabilia of his will certainly have value and I think this will be the era that it's gonna be like pokemon card collectibles. But what are the things aside from VHS tapes and CDs that are collectible for Dragon Ball?

Dragon Ball is a classic anime.  I grew up watching it everyday when I was a child until teenage years.  When Dragon Ball Super was released, I also watched it because it really gives this warm vibe and nostalgic feeling.  The news of Akira Toriyama passing is really disheartening.  It feels like you lost something precious.  Another good soul left this world.  He will surely be remembered because of his works.
Sure it is.

Although the Super didn't get me interested but I have watched some episodes of it but it hits me differently compared to the Z and GT version of it.

348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your state on mind if your son stole your money to gamble? on: March 09, 2024, 09:23:24 PM
Without a doubt parents still hold some influence, but this influence can get eroded really quickly with social media, friends, teachers and other adults that take care of the child, so parents no longer hold the same authority they had on the past, so even if they make the best effort possible to get their kids on the right path, it is now very easy for kids to ignore that advice and go astray, and as such I really think we cannot blame the parents when that happens.
It's different these days.

With the influence of social media, kids today are tougher than before. Tough in a sense that they can attain not to listen to their parents because they think that they can do better while they're young.

It also varies on how their parents have introduced them in the real world because if they're focused on their children and always give them the reminder, as they grow older, they'll remember that such stealing to gamble is a big thing and mistake that they should have never done.
349  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading or Long term on: March 09, 2024, 12:36:07 PM
Best is to wait and do nothing.

I've been on this game for long time and I can say that I am definitely one of the long term investors out there that have been monitoring the markets as much as I can.

Not giving a lot of effort but when it comes to investing, that's where I am putting my all when I am confident that it's the best time to buy.
350  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do we deal with verbal violence! on: March 09, 2024, 09:50:16 AM
I've experienced this when people talked badly about me and how they've belittled me when I was younger and they think that I've got nowhere to go.

That's fine, I am the type of person that don't put grudge against those people that have done me wrong despite that I've done nothing wrong with them.

IMHO, if you've been dealing with this problem. Always think of your bright future and success is always louder and that's the noise that you should revenge against them.
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing into Bitcoin as self pension on: March 09, 2024, 07:34:03 AM
Buying houses and apartments for rent has one great disadvantage that people usually don't consider because they see things as they are here and now. That disadvantage are government policies. In the EU there's a push towards making shelter the necessity governments have to provide for people. This means that far left is blaming investors for high real estate prices and want the governments to progressively tax people who own properties, especially if they use them as capital allocation and don't rent them out.

One day when you've finally saved up and created a real estate portfolio you may find out that the government wants a piece of it.
While I agree with that but there's still the bigger portion of being into the real estate game. It's passive income and it's normal to have obligations in the government. I know it sucks and they want chunk for everything that we have but speaking wisely, it is one of the best to have when you're already old and will just take passive income from rent there and when you're done, you'd sell it at a great mark up.

Bitcoin is one of these things they can't have.
100%.

As they can tax and take over the lands and properties, they'll never be able to take our bitcoins.
352  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dragon Ball Creator Akira Toriyama dies at the age of 68 on: March 09, 2024, 06:41:05 AM
So this ends everything completely now? that this is  what we mean DragonBall will never have another part to extend the Anime that brings our younger days back? each time I come across Dragonball episodes? I kept thinking there will be another one to be created soon .
sounds stupid but that is how frustrating I am to see Goku and Gohan together with the gang having new episode.
It's possible that some editors will take over Akira's artwork but just a continuation of the story or another series, we don't know. But as long as it's being loved by the fans, I guess that there will be some other mangaka that's close or related to Akira that will continue his work.

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING AKIRA TORIYAMA , you will always be part of our early days and will forever be part of our life.

Drama huh? but that's how I love this anime .
Kamehameha!!

We all did that, thanks Akira.

I am a ghostfighter fan but I also watched dragonball wayback so the death of the best anime creator will also sadden me .

RIP to the Family for sure the whole anime community is mourning with His death . one of the most popular Anime in the history.
Not just the whole anime community but also the manga community which is special in Japan.
353  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the point of registering on a CEX if you don't trade? on: March 09, 2024, 12:13:42 AM
Hello,

Now that there are quite a few solutions for buying or staking cryptos, I was wondering what's the point of going through a CEX when you're not trading. I'm sure there are things I don't know, but I'd love to know all the things that are, perhaps, super interesting.
They just like to park their money there and that's it. Aside from not trading, they want to enjoy the perks of being eligible for some airdrops through staking it or having it with those type of earning features.

But if you're not going to trade to any exchange, don't park your cryptos there. Always remember what we tend to say about keeping your keys and coins. You don't have it once you keep your funds on these cexes.

354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to adopt the BTC program for your company? on: March 08, 2024, 11:25:12 PM
I would like to know your opinion on the wave of BTC adoption by companies:
  • Do you think BTC programs will be useful for companies in their efforts to reach users?
  • Are you willing to receive rewards in BTC when using future services?
  • If you have your own company, are you willing to accept BTC or launch BTC programs?
1. I think I have seen some companies that have offered their employees to receive salaries in bitcoin or in the traditional way. It's helpful for the bitcoiner employees so they don't have to spend such fees in transfers from fiat to bitcoin.

2. Yes.

3. Definitely, 100%. I am an enthusiasts and to support that I have to accept payments in BTC for my services and products.
355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: More or Less sports betting on: March 08, 2024, 10:54:42 PM
I think that I am familiar with this kind of mechanics. This is popular in esports mainly for Dota 2, the logic is the same and you just have to choose two things.

If you have been tired with the typical way of betting I guess this one's for you and if you just want to try something new, why not try it with an amount that you can afford to lose, right?
356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Profiting from BTC: just luck? on: March 08, 2024, 10:27:30 PM
I want to know your opinion on the success of BTC holders:
  • Is the profit of BTC holders just from luck?
  • Are you a BTC holder? What makes you keep believing and holding BTC?
  • When will you hold BTC until?
1. I've asked my brother about this, he's not into the market nor an investor and asked him if I was just lucky that I've bought early. He said, an investor takes time to research to the new things and takes risk earlier than the rest so if we rake in profits, we did our thing and it's not just all about luck.

2. Cycles, performances, stability.

3. Until I can.
357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are not to gamble. on: March 08, 2024, 09:54:42 PM
Countless arguments tell that everyone should gamble for fun and that's what everyone has to remember. That's true that we should gamble for fun because that's not going to hurt our pockets once we lose.

That's the consolation that you'll get from there if you gamble for fun because that's something that you can hide your main reason for gambling for profit.

And if you lose, you just justify yourself that you're not chasing the profits but you are only entertaining yourself.  Grin

So avoid all the influencers and any link that is suspicious. Only visit legit domain and not a referral links.

Scammers use to send spam emails and if you don't know them, and click the link then your system would be infected with virus and your coins will be stolen. So avoid all those things.
Many are into the emails spam and making you think that you've got some giveaway that you haven't claimed yet.

They disguise like that and if you're a gullible guy, you'd fall for that and that's why many are being phished through email because these forms of emails are encouraging them to click a link for such claims.

Or some scary email like your wallet have been hacked and you just realize that you didn't used any email upon creation of a wallet.

Proton is a good one.

But you know what's the best protection and antivirus? it is yourself. Your way of how you browse in the internet is going to be your security and how you'd deal with it.

As long as you don't download things that aren't familiar to you then I guess that you should be fine with that. You have nothing to worry if you know the applications and files that you download.
