1  Economy / Digital goods / Re: (WTS) make 50$+ / Day 💳 - Get starbucks cards for free - 💳 | ✔️️ VOUCHED ✔️️ on: April 11, 2019, 06:26:39 PM
A pleased paid user (thanks to WaffleMaster for vouching)!  Seller is very easy to talk to as well as helpful.

Edit: A proper go at this method to come this weekend (not enough caffeine in my system atm - if only I had Starbucks - *appears to be caught in a chicken and the egg scenario*), but as WaffleMaster stated, it does appear to be solid and is zero/low-risk on your part.

Edit 2: No luck so far (although Starbucks response system seems to be very slow/possibly faulty atm).  I will talk with the seller when possible this week to see if I'm leaving out a critical step (which if so, might help others out).

Edit 3: Apologies for the long delay between updates.  I was able to receive a $25 credit (I was hoping for 2x that but I may make another attempt since it'd be nice to at least break even).
2  Other / Archival / Re: Buying XFINITY login on: April 05, 2017, 05:52:11 AM
Oh yeah, there is a public Comcast hotspot on my block (I'm unsure if it was setup/operates standalone by Comcast or if it's a "guest" account from a Comcast customer's router).  I did see a truck attaching something to a utility area (small power transformer + light post) before it went live.  I will reach out to friends (a friend in NH has a 100mbit account with them... unsure about upstream, I want to say 30mbit, but I don't know if that even matters in this case because if are enrolled in their 25mbit tier or higher then you qualify for WiFi access) and test it locally.  If it works I'll shoot you a PM.

Updated info: http://wifi.xfinity.com/ - it seems like it's a mix of dedicated hosts and home users that make up the guest network.  I assume speeds vary but if you have access to a xfinitywifi AP (shown below) then you should be good to go (an external antenna would improve the dB level).

3  Other / Archival / Re: Buying XFINITY login on: March 29, 2017, 10:02:30 PM
Rather, if it was coming from someone with less rep it would seem weird Smiley - I have friends with Comcast (I never got used to the XFINITY name) that I know are only using one or two accounts; since I couldn't offer any kind of guarantee I would just supply one for free and hope it lasts for a while.  Do you mind if I ask what you intend to use it for?  The primary thing that comes to mind would be a login for various TV channels that offer VOD/live content with a cable account login (feel free not to answer even if that is the situation or feel free to PM).  Note the invite to PM applies to OP only... as much as I'd like to toss buckets of logins to the BCT public, I simply don't have the means.

Trials are available for Gold and Silver Packages - 12 Hour Trial. Replied all emails as well
Just to be sure to keep an eye on your e-mail, as the trial starts from when the trial account is created not from first use.

This is a very odd way to start a thread, just FYI.
7  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: 🌟🔥 IPTV SERVICE ✔️ LIVE TV - US, UK, Canada, Spanish etc ✔️ Low Price 🐦🌟 on: March 28, 2017, 09:46:09 PM
Color me impressed!  I've never tried out IPTV (free or paid) because I assumed the quality would not be there but using a native client on my TV (Samsung 2013 gave me three different options, I picked "Smart IPTV", they seem to offer a 7-day trial before making you pay a one time fee but it's pretty great - I will try out the other two just because) it honestly measured up with my paid FiOS TV package (in terms of quality, in terms of content and price, well there is no comparison).  I will probably end up setting up Kodi (it can be a little fussy at first) on a HTPC to get the added benefit of recording shows.  Thanks again and I'll send another e-mail when I've relocated + have active Internet.
8  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [MSDN]1 Admin account at $40 and 2 invites at $15 each and Microsoft products on: March 27, 2017, 10:45:50 AM
Normally I don't crash other people's threads, but this just looks sketchy (also it's your job as a seller to prove that you are legitimate; you can choose not to do this of course but it will only hurt sales).  I would recommend this thread if you are looking for MSDN account.  I'm not affiliated with the seller (beyond providing a review of service), but they are offering an MSDN account for $6 at the moment, which is amazingly cheap (I believe this provides you with a Microsoft Imagine account where you can download many standalone editions of Microsoft products but I would ask the seller first as well as if there is something else you are after in the MSDN realm).
9  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: 🌟🔥 IPTV SERVICE ✔️ LIVE TV - US, UK, Canada, Spanish etc ✔️ Low Price 🐦🌟 on: March 27, 2017, 06:27:22 AM
ok first off i want to try this service but i am very un sure of it as i see 990% in last 2 months have been newbs thats it kinda got me worried to spend money on  it...

aswell i dont see any prices for them and would also like to know that. is in a fixed rate or do you change per person that asks.

Similar questions here.  The OP still says "Trial is available for Packages - SILVER and GOLD", I don't know how long these trials would last but even if it's just for a couple of hours that should be suitable (assuming that a public going rate can be made available).  I know IPTV "bundlers" (aka services that sell packages along with hardware) are having a hard time with recent crackdowns, but that should actually drive the price down if anything since the people providing the upstream service aren't getting busted (or maybe they are, but that doesn't seem to be what news articles are stating).

Since the Silver package has more English content, I would like to trial that (triple play, well quad if you count cell service atm but I'll be moving to a new, smaller location soon and would like to cut down to just Internet/cell phone so it's either a service like this or something more like PS Vue, because why not just give all of my money to Sony!)

Edit: E-mail sent to cordcutter.bitcointalk@gmail.com to request a "Silver" trial as has been instructed of others.
10  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Permanent Spotify Account WITH SCREENSHOT PROOF on: March 27, 2017, 05:49:22 AM
As soon as I have $20 in Bitcoins (I finished my last freelance job yesterday and the company I was working for decided to ignore my request to be paid in USD and sent it in Euros... even though they are based in Toronto?  CAD I would at least understand, no idea how long EUR will take to clear their bank, intermediary banks in both countries and then land in mine) I will be picking up a code for sure.

I read more into Starbucks Partner benefits (there is a whole subreddit) and it's pretty cool how Partner Numbers are never removed from the system's backend (so if you were to quit, apply for a job again in a year and get rehired, you would have your same number), which IMO makes this method a solid way to go.  I don't know how much Spotify really cares (i.e. monitors) about the active status after you bump a free account up to premium with this program (my guess is not at all - like you said, your friend's account is still working this much later), and now that I think about it, it might not even be legal to query such information so win for us!

12  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [SELLING] FOX SCREENER ACCOUNT + EMAIL - WATCH NOW 4 EPISODES PRISON BREAK+MORE on: March 25, 2017, 01:07:10 PM
Heh technically, yes.  The reason I said "in one form or another" in because I thought that the original group still had an irc channel somewhere... but that may belong to the domain hijackers too (it's a very weird hijacking though; I thought it was a misdirect move at first since torrents still flow).  I don't know the history of YIFY but does that mean they are doing the same thing (which I would have to assume is making money off of ads and referrals)?
13  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Permanent Spotify Account WITH SCREENSHOT PROOF on: March 25, 2017, 12:05:18 PM
I don't think any vouch copies will be necessary :p - this is indeed a running program and its longevity looks promising.  Oh, and here is an alt link - I'm just providing this because when looking into it, someone had a problem with the URL provided (even though this is just a redirect).

http://www.spotify.com/starbuckspartners

I'm on super good terms with my local Starbucks crew... I will have to figure out a way to drop this into conversation (just need to get the partner number, I can social engineer the last names :p).
14  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [SELLING] FOX SCREENER ACCOUNT + EMAIL - WATCH NOW 4 EPISODES PRISON BREAK+MORE on: March 25, 2017, 11:48:46 AM
Random recommendation - I think the people that would "profit" (quoted because it would just be "internet cred") from this the most would be TV torrent groups (they also seem to have still have funds for this kind of stuff... back in the VCD days a friend in the UK received a capture device just for "The Simpsons").  I can't point you to an exact person but I know the EZTV group are still active in some form or another, plus you could message people releasing the most on sites like ET.  Best of luck Smiley.
15  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [SELLING]FOX SCREENER ACCOUNT + EMAIL - WATCH NOW 4 EPISODES PRISON BREAK+MORE on: March 21, 2017, 04:58:17 PM
Of course you can try to sign up, if you have a good looking email like you said Smiley
The question is: You have the email? Wink
I believe you need only a press email

I have an e-mail for work that belongs to a magazine publication, however it is not US-based so I'm curious if it would fly (I'm guessing not).  I know I didn't quote it this way but it was more of a response to people who think that these must be hacked/stolen, when I saw a much more logical (and easier solution, depending on your resources).
16  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [SELLING]FOX SCREENER ACCOUNT + EMAIL - WATCH NOW 4 EPISODES PRISON BREAK+MORE on: March 18, 2017, 01:03:10 AM
Just by 10 secs of Googling I assume this gives you access to this site - http://screeningroom.foxflash.com - I'm not really sure what exactly you would need to say in the request for access, but I assume if you have a proper looking e-mail address that you could say that you were a reviewer for your college paper's AVClub or something of that sorts.
17  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Upgrading your own personal Spotify/Tidal/Hulu/Deezer/Rhapsody/Pandora/Netflix$5 on: March 18, 2017, 12:48:52 AM
At the very least, this posting is a bit misleading/lacking in detail. Just taking Netflix as an example, there is no such thing as a "lifetime membership", so giving the OP the upmost benefit of the doubt, the only possible "personal method" that would allow you to keep your Netflix account but not pay a monthly fee would be if the credit card information was replaced with that of another person.  Normally when this type of service is offered, you are given new credentials as I think everyone knows it's a bad idea to provide personal account information like this.
18  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Review of "GGDrive Unlimited" Plan on: March 18, 2017, 12:35:10 AM
The following should be considered a fair and impartial review of the "GGDrive Unlimited" plan.  For the sake of full transparency, I had not spoken to the seller before today and I did receive a voucher for this review.

Short and sweet version!

  • International edu e-mail address provides direct access to a Google Drive with unlimited space (tested, works).
  • Office 365 Education and GitHub Education were also accessible (tested, works).
  • Amazon Prime Student was not accessible, their terms and conditions state that the program is only available to those "actively enrolled in at least one course at a college geographically located in one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico" as well as requiring a username@*.college.edu formatted e-mail address (*. denotes an address that may include a subdomain but still ends in .edu).
  • Update March 21st - AWS for Students does not appear to work at this time as the country is not currently supported (details at end of post).

Response Time:
rockeyboy was not online the BCT forums when I replied to this thread but promptly responded regardless (as the timestamps show) and once connected via Skype, communication was in real time for the entire session as I tested different sites/products and their usability.  I immediately received an international edu e-mail address and a default password to log into Google/G-Mail with, which everyone will want to do first to get started.  Now, for the goodies!

Accessible Services:

1) Google Drive
Of course the first thing to test was G Drive, but first a word of warning to anyone out there looking for this type of service.  There are still people selling accounts from some US .edu sites where it can look like you have an unlimited Google Drive, however you have a probational account so when you go to use it, it will tell you that it's inaccessible.

Okay awesome, lets fill it up with the blockchain!

... or not.  I'm pretty sure anyone trying this on BCT would be raked across the coals fairly quickly but this was a big issue on Fiverr at one point and whenever I see someone post an example image with Google Drive showing 0 GB it reminds me of this scam.  However, as you can see below, I had no such issue and using Seedr and Thoai Media Services (a 3rd-party app for G Drive that allows direct uploading of a file from the web directly to G Drive, which was important to test as some business and school administrators disable the use of 3rd-party applications) to transfer 2 TV episodes from a public BT tracker to my G Drive in about 45 secs total.

So there is our happy guy again and this time he actually is able to use his G Drive Smiley - however our new school of higher education has some more treats in store for us.

2) Office 365 Education
The international edu e-mail address comes through for us again on this one.  Simply visit https://products.office.com/en-us/student?ms.officeurl=getoffice365, enter your e-mail address and it will proceed to create your Office 365 landing page (it did take about 5 mins before everything was accessible).  Here are some of the benefits (borrowed from a Microsoft announcement page)...

  • The latest versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Access and Publisher.*
  • Installations of Office on up to five PCs or Macs.*
  • Advanced capabilities on Office mobile apps including Windows tablets, iPad, iPhone and Android (when available).
  • 1 TB of storage using OneDrive for business (unlimited storage coming soon).
  • Office Online to work on Office files with anyone, anywhere in real-time.

*While some apps for phones and tablets are available to download, neither the complete suite or apps for all mobile platforms nor is installation to local computers supported.  Microsoft has two tiers for their education services as seen here and the missing features fall under the "Office 365 Education E5" plan.  Also while the landing page was still loading, if I visited some pages (such as OneDrive), the language would be that which the school administrator had set.  I recommend letting your new account fully populate (as illustrated below) before attempting to use the tools.

If any of the tools are not using your system default language at any point, or if you want to change the language, simply visit https://portal.office.com/account/#settings and the last option will let you select the global language that you want to use for the Office 365 environment.

3) GitHub Education
If you are a programmer, developer or even just a user of open-source software then you are probably familiar on some level with GitHub.  The Student Development Pack has a lot to offer those who dabble in code-fu, but there are even some select offers in the pack that should peek the interest of most everyone.  Offers from Amazon Educate (which offers AWS credits), bitnami (1-click Cloud Hosted apps) and transifex (a great tool for professional translation of text into other languages) are some of the more notable offers on the list, however NameCheap steps up and offers an both a SSL certificate for 1 year as well as a .me domain of your choice, also for one year.  Considering that a .me domain ranges anywhere from the $7 USD range during sales to just under $19 USD at other times, even if you have no interest in a .me domain personally, it is a popular TLD that one should be able to flip on the open market rather easily.  For a full list of what's included in the Student Pack, check out GitHub's Student Pack page located here.

Thank You, but our Princess is in Another Castle:
If there is any other offer/service out there that someone would like tested, please feel free to ask!  Again, as this is an international edu address, offers such as Amazon Prime Student do not work (I did actually try to enroll just to see, but was told that my e-mail address did not qualify).  Also from what I've read on reddit, the 50% off discount for Spotify does not work by simply having an edu address (they apparently use a system to check if you are actively taking credit courses), however this can be bypassed by simply providing a school schedule/transcript, but for more on that, Google/reddit would have to be your guide as I've never attempted to do so.

Update: March 21st - For anyone who might be interested in an AWS Educate account, currently the institution (and furthermore, the country) is not eligible is not approved by Amazon.  AWS Educate accounts are actually open to K - 12 students as well as higher education, so it still may be possible to apply the additional credits during sign-up if a different account is used (much like alternative student information can be provided to receive a discount on Spotify as mentioned above).  I did attempt a traditional sign-up using the international edu e-mail address provided, but never received confirmation from Amazon/AWS.
