Voted CounterParty XCP. A solid coin with real merit and continous development efforts. real potential as a rising star.
there is no competition with any other exchanges. Bter can become number 1 and make high profits off trade fees

we're very confident that within a short time, shares will be valued what they are really worth

This is one thing we can both agree on
4  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Virtual Community Exchange w/ Options, DRIP, 2FA, API, CSV, etc. on: September 10, 2013, 11:16:30 PM
I have not been handed a list unless I missed it somewhere.

I hope the LABCOIN guys don't mind me disclosing this.  Over 85% of the 3 million shares have not left a specific account I know is held in the Labcoin name.  The other 15% could easily be held in any of the next few top shareholders, but I am not privy to who is who without some assistance.

Edit/add: and this account is not locked.  I will not lock it without a specific request from the owner.

Thanks for your answer. I certainly don't see why they would mind such information being disclosed, one has to wonder why it did not come directly from them already with a link that the general public could actually verify. You know yourself how easy it would be to do. I simply can't think of a reason why it is not shown.

And another thing to keep in mind: just because you might lose money in an investment doesn't mean it was a scam - a scam requires bad faith. If a company acts in good faith, but is merely slow to fulfill its promises, or misses a few deadlines, or doesn't communicate to your level of comfort, your natural remedy is to sell your shares, perhaps at a lower price than what you paid. Such is the nature of risk and reward. Now, I'm not saying that regulation is something that should be abandoned - on the contrary, I think burnside has done a marvelous job of balancing the demands of the market with reasonable protections for all parties. But he's exactly right in that he's not responsible for the broken promises of anyone that lists with him - it's the sole responsibility of the pseudonymous entity you transact with when you buy shares. If you're not comfortable transacting with that party, demand a lower price to fit your risk model, or walk away.

I do believe LABCOIN is operating in bad faith, rather than being 'merely slow' or not so good with communication, that is the basis of my argument.

I don't beleive Burnside is responsible for other persons choice of investment beyond undertaking certain background checks before authorising the listing, and shouldn't be around to babysit investors every step of the way. I also don't expect him predict the future. He could of allowed this listing in perfectly good faith- same goes for Moderator votes.

Nonetheless when it comes to situations where an issuer starts acting suspiciously (go and read posting history of and tell me this is not the case) then refuses to co-operate with owner of exchange alarm bells start going off.

I'd like to ask following question (some could intepret things this way): If the owner of an exchange becomes aware of fraud, would it be acceptable to continue to allow it under his watch as long as he is earning fees from trading volume? would feigning ignorance or pointing to the 'it's just a game' disclaimer be a good enough excuse to get them off the hook?

He is ignoring you because your accusations are baseless.  Even if you aren't a FUD spreading lair and actually believe what you are saying, that doesn't make it true and burnside is right to ignore you.
I don't believe this is a scam and will not be selling.

My accusations are not baseless.

This is a breach of fiduciary duty and I've been getting the ball rolling with HK ICAC with regards to some of the falsified details which have been presented.

Burnside needs to lock this security immediately.

Says the sock puppet?  If you aren't just spreading FUD and actually believe this, why are you hiding?

What is a 'sock puppet,' What is 'FUD'?

These words have become overused and now devoid of any sort of meaning-  they only show up in topics filled to the brim of mudslinging and empty of solid info, such as labcoin. I've not seen them present in neo&bee iPVO for example. They are only used to attack anyone who presents an argument which doesn't present the offering in a favourable light.  (and therefore those that hold become angry it could eat into their profits).

As I wrote to burnside (who ignored it earlier)

I believe the time has come for this to be resolved and it is no longer a background issue - time has come in this particular instance as owner and administrator of exchange to demonstrate a reasonable level of concern for customers finances, and locking of LABCOIN security, pending resolution should start. No update has been forwarded via the issuer as yet even though it has been promised. This to me suggests evidence of cheating, lying from one or both parties.

I would like to remind that anyone that is aware of and has the power to investigate or terminate, yet allows unfettered operation of fraudulent investment schemes- that is happy to bury their head in the sand as long as it is earning them profits becomes an accessory, or an accomplice and could potentially be in for a rude awakening

I no longer have Labcoin in my portfoloio. I am not waiting for a lower price or trying to play the market by driving the price low or high. I am simply demanding the evidence which has been promised.  Whether it succeeds or fails makes no difference to me. Therefore 'spreading FUD' does not give me any sort of advantage

What I am concerned about however is the fact I was deceived from the beginning along with others here who brought in on good faith.  I am looking into starting an investigation and I'm collecting information of the identities owned by labcoin and TheSwede75.. Anyone is welcome to private message me if they feel they have fallen victim. Paint it however you like, say it is virtual, caveat emptor but a scam is a scam. I chose to invest in this based on it's merits and a business plan and did not expect to fall foul of a organized group that deceives. If you lie and cheat people and play with their money there will be consequences

They don't care about short term price changes. They don't care that we want information that will prop the share price up. They want to hash and roll out 65nm, lets all chill a little and see how they go. In a weeks time if we have nothing ill eat my words...

Quote
We're still considering some business aspects, including only focusing on the upcoming 65nm version for what concerns bulk chip sales.

This is the beginning of series of get out clauses that allow them to not let the 'gen 1' chips out of hands- for whatever 'strategic business move' they devise to back it up. No-one will see evidence of the gen 1 chips. They will say wait for the 65NM chips if you want to build DIY miners, or buy hardware it will be better performance or some similar nonsense.

what is 2TH to a mining operation? this is consumer level, single user not a million dollar op..why mine in solo mode?, where is the address? where is the chip photos? where is the site update? where is the locked shares? where is the PCB photos, board plans or info? where is the finalized chips specs, performance output? cgminer output?, where is hosting details?, where is the info about hardware sales? where is any sort of recent tangible technical update? everything that has been promised has been ignored. "two more weeks" the motto of BFL.

Few pieces of commodity hardware divided between 10 million is shocking- you will have satoshi every week as divs. no way is it profitable, the only reason it is there is to placate people and buy time so the stock doesn't fall apart. Ken uses same trick in his AMC security

Just sit back and read some of labcoins last posts a few times. I actually had to laugh at myself for investing in this one.. just look how obvious it is from the last few posts.

Do some of you really not see the writing on the wall? It is absolutely typical behavior of a scam- if you've seen it once you've seen it 100 times and can document it and dissect it. The greed is really killing some of you and you're turned from investing in solid plan to just gambling on greater fool theory and writing it off as a little loss if it fails.

Burnside needs to lock this security immediately.

Just *IGNORE* this guy, and do not quote any BS he said Sad even my grandma can photoshop better than him

excuse me, there is no photoshopping involved. I don't know where you got such an idea from.

I have become increasingly alarmed by the behavior of the user who occupies the ID:labcoin and the PR agent or accomplice operating under the ID: TheSwede75.I've begun collecting evidence & I request anybody who has lost a considerable amount so far please contact me in private message

No photoshopping involved? hahaha the real link was below.. dumbass mofo! so many lies and fud you believe your own..

no, you don't know how trust settings on this forum work evidently. you are not in my trust network so have to click 'show ratings' - it won't show up on your screen like that

@Rannasha- The lies have caused me to lose money directly. I don't believe any ASIC chips exist and in essence we are speculating on fabrications and deception. That is not acceptable- I'm not here as a speculator or day trader. I'm not a gambler- I make calculated decisions on the merits of the offering (to the extent I can with available info), but how could i be expected to know this was an organized job by team of fraudsters? we don't see this issue on regulated exchanges. This was an investment but now it has become an investigation.
