562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone been able to make steady income with gambling ? on: November 22, 2023, 06:22:31 AM
Has anyone been able to make steady income with gambling ? If yes, what had been your strategy ? Do you diversify to multiple games in order to ensure that end result is always profit ?

I personally feel that there are very less chances of making a steady income with gambling. In fact, if you win a big amount in gambling, from there on , you should play games with less on stake and keep the winnings invested in some good option like crypto. It is important to have self control to end profitably with gambling ventures online. Do you agree with this ?
I don’t believe that there is anyone who can make a steady income from gambling because this is very risky. Gambling should be approached as a form of entertainment rather than a reliable source of income. Even professional gamblers often experience periods of losses, they also go broke. The winnings that pop out are just one-time big time, no consistency. I you already heard that some individuals manage to make a living from gambling, maybe they are very rich, and they can afford to lose how big it is. But for the vast majority, it’s a losing proposition.
Whatever strategy you use, none of them guarantees a profit.
I agree that control is important, remember your limits, it makes you a responsible gambler, otherwise you have a gambling problem.

564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Zero Knowledge Proof: How helpful can this be to Bitcoin? on: November 22, 2023, 12:55:01 AM
This proof contradicts the nature of blockchain as a public ledger or records for transparency because it hides the basic information of a transaction. I doubt that it will enhance the scalability, ZKP is complex when integrating into an existing protocol, and it may cause vulnerabilities such as bugs and errors. And it will add additional computational work, which is difficult to scale.
When it comes to privacy, we don’t directly link our identity to a wallet public address unless you reveal and expose it, so we can remain anonymous if we want to and avoid using centralized platforms.

566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When does the moment come when the gambler loses control? on: November 20, 2023, 11:50:35 AM
We have all experienced a loss of control when it comes to gambling. Perhaps in my experience, this has happened several times and could happen again. It only happens when you forget to be responsible for the decisions you make. The biggest reason I see is the desire to win because we all know that money is involved. Sometimes, I think fate might favor me now to win because I've had a series of losses in the past. But if we continue trying to recover, the losses may only increase. While you may not be able to control the urge to gamble, at least you should be able to control your limits, especially when it comes to the amount of money you can afford to lose.
567  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what and which are custodial and non custodial wallets. on: November 20, 2023, 11:30:16 AM
Custodial
> Third-party (exchanges/service provider) private key control
- the user does not have direct control over private keys

> Less secure
- willing to trust a third party to manage your keys securely on their own server

> The custodian is responsible for backup

Non-Custodial
> User private key control (full/complete control)
- responsible for storing and securing the keys

> More secure
- higher level of security, minimize the risk of hacking or unauthorized access

> User is responsible for backup
- decentralized and self-managed option
568  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some traps to avoid in bullrun. on: November 20, 2023, 10:49:18 AM
It is natural for many to hope that the price of Bitcoin will continue to rise, especially those who have witnessed and experienced it before. However, we should always remember that even in this industry, there are no guarantees, and no one knows what will happen next because it is only based on predictions and forecasting derived from historical data. I have been aware of the risks associated with using cryptocurrency for several years now. I can say to myself that I am informed about these matters based on my own search for answers, personal experiences, and the experiences of others. We can only say that we have learned when the mistakes are not repeated.

570  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will SEC delay on Spot ETF approval do to Bitcoin's price?@ on: November 19, 2023, 11:41:40 PM
I am not sure if all of us are aware of not as SEC has delayed their decisions on Spot ETF application but they were supposed to take the decision by now and will this delay cause any set back in price ? People were speculating that there would be a price drop before halving and that didn't happened due to ETF as it helped increasing the value and since it's been delayed now will it cause any impact for the Bitcoin price? if yes then how much would it be and will it be that way till halving?
The SEC’s decision to delay the approval of a spot Bitcoin ETF has caused some concern among investors. When the SEC announced the delay, Bitcoin’s price fell by 5%. However, it’s difficult to predict how much of an impact the delay will have on Bitcoin’s price in the long run. Some analysts believe that the delay could lead to a further decline in Bitcoin’s price, while others believe that the market has already priced in the delay. It’s worth noting that the SEC has delayed the approval of other Bitcoin ETFs as well, including those from BlackRock and Fidelity. As for whether the delay will continue until the halving, it’s impossible to say for sure.

571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can help develop promising ideas without having huge resources? on: November 19, 2023, 10:50:30 PM
How do you think it is possible to raise a promising, but not having significant capital, project from the bottom and bring it to high heights in the world of cryptocurrencies? What strategies and actions can help to develop promising ideas without initially having huge resources?
It’s really challenging to try to build a promising project in the world of cryptocurrencies without significant capital. It's a tough journey, but there are strategies that can help you develop your ideas without a massive budget. Building a successful cryptocurrency project takes time, dedication, and a passion for solving real-world problems with innovative technology. By focusing on unique solutions, effective marketing, and community engagement, you can increase your chances of success even without significant upfront capital.
572  Economy / Digital goods / Re: BC GAME online casino clone script with full source code on: November 19, 2023, 09:56:15 PM
I would be cautious about purchasing this script, given the questionable reputation of BC.Game. There have been multiple accusations of scams and unanswered complaints against them. Starting a casino with a similar design as BC.Game could potentially damage your reputation and lead to user backlash.
If you're still interested in starting an online casino, it would be better to develop a unique design and establish your own brand. This will help you avoid negative associations with BC.Game and build trust with your users.

It was the 2022 Miss Universe pageant, Alejandra Guajardo, the Salvadoran beauty queen, wore a golden bitcoin-inspired outfit as a tribute to her country being the world’s first to adopt cryptocurrency as official currency. There's a Bitcoin logo part of the national costume but not on the head.

What is your solution to pay less Fee ?

thank you for your time if you do help me
I don’t know if the Blockchain wallet supports SegWit; I am not using it anymore. So, you can try using another wallet that supports SegWit addresses to reduce transaction fees by optimizing the use of block space.
You can probably customize the fees in the Blockchain wallet. This way, you can adjust the fee settings. However, before doing this, you should have a fee estimator tool. I used to visit a website before conducting Bitcoin transactions that provided real-time fee estimates, but I can't find it anymore. I would have shared it with you, but there are similar tools available.
Customizing the fee has its risks, as setting it too low might result in slower confirmation times or even rejection. If you want, try using a different wallet with lower fees compared to others to find the most cost-effective solution for your needs.
If you're open to using alternative coins, consider using LTC or BCH. Depending on your needs, you might explore other cryptocurrencies with lower transaction fees for specific use cases.

575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's Raking in This Fee on: November 19, 2023, 06:09:15 AM
Hey there, could you help me out with this question? So, when we send Bitcoin from one wallet, like an Electrum wallet, to another Bitcoin address, there's this transaction fee, right? Currently, it's pretty high, and the miners are the ones benefiting from it, got that part. Now, in another scenario, let's say I purchased some bitcoins from a centralized exchange like Binance, and I need to send them to a cold wallet address. Again, there's a transaction fee. But who's raking in this fee: the miners or the CEX platform?
As far as I know, the transaction fee goes and is paid to the miners who add or process, validate your transaction to the blockchain, and confirm it. So yeah, the miners are the ones benefiting from the transaction fees regardless of the specific source or destination of the bitcoins. The exchange may only charge a withdrawal fee to cover its own costs.

577  Economy / Economics / Re: Imaginary Future on: November 18, 2023, 07:32:31 AM
I’ve often found myself caught in the balancing act between planning for the future and living in the present.  The fear of not having enough saved for the future can sometimes overshadow the joy of enjoying the present. Life’s about creating a balance that feels right for you. I know there are always ways to allocate a portion of my resources for both present pleasures and future security. Do you believe that experiences and memories are just as valuable as financial stability? If you enjoy your life now to the fullest then your life is a journey, and if you focus more on your future then your life will be a destination.

579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An easy approach to Bitcoin on: November 18, 2023, 02:50:06 AM
It's refreshing to watch educational content that simplifies complex topics like Bitcoin and blockchain.
For my part, perhaps I'll just let my future children and nephews/nieces discover things about it, just like how fate led me here. My nephews/nieces are still young, so they don't know much about the financial aspect yet. If ever they find out about what I do in the crypto industry and if they become interested, like asking questions, I wouldn't hesitate to share what I know to the best of my knowledge. They already have cell phones, but they only use them for watching cartoons on YouTube and Netflix. Kids nowadays are really different; they're exposed to gadgets, and they easily adapt to new technologies, so maybe they're not that difficult to teach. But, of course, it still depends on their level of understanding.
580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there fewer women Than men involved in Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2023, 10:04:28 PM
Even back when I was still studying during my college days, there were really only a few women enrolling in computer studies, such as computer science and information technology courses. It seems that even until now, women are still discouraged from pursuing careers in the STEM field. For me, maybe women are not necessarily less inclined toward technology compared to men. The tech industry has been dominated by men for a long time, and it's deeply rooted in educational backgrounds. Also, based on studies, women tend to be more risk-averse in their investment choices.
