721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Crypto scammers creating traps to break the system security on: January 21, 2024, 06:34:21 AM
Trend Micro is a known security company and I have known for quite a while so, IMO they are reliable with these findings. But in case you have missed it, there is already a thread posted earlier than yours about this topic in the Beginners and Help.

722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Trust wallet on: January 20, 2024, 11:02:23 PM
AFAIK, all of the platforms and swaps will require you some fee. I guess that's all you have to do and with the trust score you have, there will be no one that's willing to have the transaction for you unless you ask some escrow that will do it for you and you'll still going to cover the fee of the escrow. $40 of ETH to $80, if you're willing to pay that why not just something else and buy with your local exchanger using other ways of depositing and transacting it with that amount just for the fee and transfer it to that wallet.
723  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is the only crypto you should BUY on: January 20, 2024, 10:17:27 PM
If someone is done accumulating Bitcoin but it shouldn't happen, then that's the time that he can try and explore other investments without compromising his Bitcoin holdings.

But out-there there are so many cryptocurrencies that actually has useful utility and dApp, and not everyone buy crypto just to speculate and invest some actually buy it for the utility.
Yeah, that's true. Many are open to these matters and exploring with the dApps and even with the staking features that they usually like because it's an opportunity for them that they can't ignore. But it is not wrong to invest only in Bitcoin, in fact, it's the most recommended thing to do on this market to avoid being problematic with volatility.
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In Search of Financial Freedom: The Answer Lies With Bitcoin, Not Stablecoins on: January 20, 2024, 09:32:46 PM
This is for the people who see CBDC as an alternative to the traditional monetary system and it explains why decentralization matters when we talk about financial freedom and staking money with centralized token called CBDC is never really intended for that use.

Use stable coins for trading purposes and never trust them for storing your money, it can vanish overnight if the issuer decides to run away.
In countries that has high to hyper inflation, stable coins can be their savior because of how useless their currency and this means about their daily usage and not for investing purposes. As for investment, we all agree that it's about Bitcoin and that's the best asset that someone can have. While many are experiencing some problems regarding on which crypto they should choose. There's no need to look around and be problematic about it because having Bitcoin can be their greatest asset without having to worry about anything.
725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people mostly fail in trading on: January 20, 2024, 08:58:15 PM
There is no psychological reason why many fail in trading. It's that it's hard to be against the market no matter how good you are, that's why "most" do fail because this market is highly volatile and you can't easily go against them because you just don't know what can happen. Even the greatest traders still have their losing days but they've learned and much better nowadays and no doubt can profit. But if you're just someone who randomly trades, you better change your way and be a holder.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON is bad coin, here is why on: January 20, 2024, 12:41:15 PM
Tron isn't that much bad but i already reject this coin to add in my portfolio when i saw there's no hope with tron.
I don't add this on my portfolio but I have to agree with you that it isn't bad at all because there's still the USDT with its chain.

Obviously tron ecosystem was most developing in past times, includes various protocols & built of standard blockchain is its top attractions.
Yeah, that's why it's still usable and remains at the top. But with the usual problem about scaling issues and the fees, TRC20 has also reached that point of having not cheap fees.

Justin sun efforted much but now everything supposed to be freeze. No development has seen since long and most of products and trc20 tokens flopped after launched. Maybe this coin will shine in future but not valid for invest this time
It's just like unstable and stable at the same time. Stable because there's still a lot in the community that uses TRC20 for USDT and unstable by the means of development because it's one of the earliest but most projects today chooses another chain and they're not even old compared to tron.

We will always get to see the comparison of many altcoins to another one. From meme coins to meme coins and what defines you of a successful project.
Stop with the comparison and just go along with the flow that you think is favorable to you because no matter what is the next big thing, Bitcoin will still be the remaining at the top of the chain regardless of the class of these projects coming from layer projects to meme coins.
The most important thing in the altcoins market, just ensure you watch very well before you make your choice because sometimes the project you think it will not be great in the future,it  will be the project that will dominate through out the season to help their customers to earn well.

I know that many altcoins price will pump higher before the end of this year 2024 but they will not pump more than BTC which we know that whenever the price of BTC is pumping other altcoins price will be pumping too.
You will see people that always compare these altcoins and meme coins to Bitcoin and about the gain, you'll not win against them because they talk about reality that the gains are greater than Bitcoin. But it's only there and stops there and with the continuous growth of projects, they're not the same as Bitcoin in case of stability. That's what is lacking with these quick gains projects and they're just treating these memes as cash machines.
728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying house rent with bitcoin is it appropriate? on: January 20, 2024, 10:47:58 AM
Paying for a house with bitcoin sounds to me a mistake or lack of financial knowledge.
Don't think like this, paying with Bitcoin for anything that you need is worth it. What makes you stop is the value of it might increase paying but please do remember that if something has been able to get filled because you've paid using Bitcoin, don't feel regret on it.
That's actually the purpose of Bitcoin why satoshi made it and that's for peer to peer transactions with merchants like this. Both of you get to enjoy the monetary value of Bitcoin and its features too.
Yes that's right. I don't see any harm in paying for a house using Bitcoin. If both parties agree, what's wrong with that? Both parties certainly benefit, both those who pay with bitcoin and those who receive bitcoin, of course with transactions like this both already know about bitcoin which means this transaction can be carried out. I assume that even if a person pays for a house with bitcoin it means he has a lot of bitcoin so he thinks that rather than selling it in fiat then paying for the house will incur additional costs because of the buying and selling process. Likewise, those who receive payments in bitcoin, maybe they want to invest in bitcoin, that's why they choose to be paid using bitcoin. So I mean there's nothing wrong with bitcoin being used as a buying and selling transaction, after all bitcoin is also money.
We can see that regret from OP that it's like a waste investment for him. That's fine because all of us treats Bitcoin as an investment but don't forget that it's also being used as payment. How the adoption will grow if no one's going to spend it? We have to spend it and that's in anyway that you are comfortable, could be to trade for another currency which is the common but it's better if there are services that you can pay directly with Bitcoin.

~snip~
Bro!! We journeyed into the 2024 and the bull has not signaled the obvious. The BTC ETF approval didn't impact the price as expected, Halving is in about 3 months and the average days to see bull run post halving is about 200 days.
Just be patient bro, everything is alright and we haven't seen yet the biggest impact of it. We still have to wait for the halving for Bitcoin to wait as you're saying. I know that the altcoins market will also reflect on BTCs move so, you gotta be patient with that.
The market won't react on an instant although for some instances, it does. But if it didn't move on an instant basis and we didn't see the pump as soon as possible the news came, there's no need to hurry but to wait.
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low cap altcoins best for rising price? on: January 20, 2024, 07:40:44 AM
low cap coins if the coin is good will not be a problem. good coins at least have been listed on good exchangers, for example, have been listed on binance or other good exchangers, for example kucoin and more.
If the low cap coin is not good, it can be scammed by the coin developer.
Most of the low cap coins are like still on their early journey and telling that they're a good one depends on the bias of the investor. If lack research but still can be said and classified as good coins, that matters for the ones who is checking that out. But that doesn't mean that many low cap coins are bad and the same goes for being good. If they're on the good exchanges, that's one factors but remember that many good coins are also being delisted from these known exchanges in the end.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Launchpool: One Of The Best Staking Feature For Rewards. on: January 20, 2024, 07:07:15 AM
If you are into it, you have probably received a lot of airdrops from it. But another catch is that, obviously, if you stake a bigger amount there. Then, you'll also be one of those that will receive higher amount of the airdrops that are going through with it.
It is a good one but basically because we're going in to the bull run but what happens after this? I guess that everyone will see the bad or sad side of it during the bear market where everything is stagnant. Still will get some rewards but not as how it is right now.

Absolutely right, the magnitude of reward depends on quantiy of coins one stakes. Additionally, It is also true that newly launched projects during the bullish market phase are mostly successful due to increased interest of market participants and influx of new capital in the market.
It is what we've mostly noticed for most of them. When the bull run is approaching, the majority of them are successful. But launch most of them during the bear market, you'll get nothing and that's a proven fact.

I may be proved wrong, but with the entrance of giants like BlackRock and ETFs approvals, the bullish market phase could last longer this time.
It is said that we might get like until 2025 and at the end of that year we may see the start of the bear market. But, this 2022 bear market doesn't feel that much pain so we may see some changes.
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency. on: January 20, 2024, 06:34:24 AM
A big money bag but if you are not willing to take risk from altcoins then just buy bitcoin and with a little patience can get good profit. As many of the token names you feel have meme coin in them but I'd like to refrain from that. But if you really want to buy meme coin then try to use the maximum investment of $500. We all know that the only dependable way of investment is to take risk but it is foolish to take exclusive decision for big capital.
Well, can't blame people that would like to invest higher capitals with those type of coins that they prefer. First, it is their money and we can't stop them easily for doing it. If like to put as much as they can then the thing on their mind is the greater return that they'll be getting from it.
And that's why those that have been became millionaire on the altcoins might probably have inspired them. But even I, I wouldn't take that much risk with it.
735  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No one has gone broke taking profits, always take profits. on: January 19, 2024, 11:50:19 PM
Your teacher is right, always take profits as no one has become broke doing that. What situation had made someone broke is when they just pass things and missed making the profits. That's why whenever you're trading, always prioritize to profit. There are good times to take it and there are times that you have to be patient, regardless of how long your wait is still at the end of it you need to take profit. Learn from your own experience if you ever missed a lot of opportunity of taking profits and use that as your motivation every time you trade.

I've seen that TAO from a random video explaining on how he keeps on investing on it. I've checked it and the early ones have definitely the gainers on this coin. I'd say that this is another missed opportunity as usual to those that haven't heard it during the early days of it last year. Very likely to see that there's more for it on the bull run and even we're not yet there, it's already one of the winners and best picks for those that have taken it when it was still two digits.
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Instant Bitcoin on: January 19, 2024, 06:07:04 PM
You are describing the forks of Bitcoin and there were many of them, but thank goodness that they've been stopped a long time ago.
But still, some of them exist and trying to be relevant in this market. Don't believe with those forks and don't make yourself available to invest to any of them because all they think is Bitcoin is beatable. And in reality, they've been trying to conduct that as well for a very long time but none of them was able to do it to the real, actual and one and only Bitcoin.
739  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My btc full year plan 2024 on: January 19, 2024, 05:29:36 PM
$56k by the end of this year isn't that much but a safe prediction. And if it goes with the range of $30k, that's still fine but I think that will also be the start where we might see more than those ranges. The halving was done by the end of the year and that's like the activation time of the bull run. I don't know when particular it is going to start but we've got some ideas already when it will happen and usually every after the halving as the cycle continues. So, good luck with your plan this year.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Terra LUNA revival Imminent on: January 19, 2024, 04:54:41 PM
I'm not sure Luna will be in demand again, because trust won't come back.
When trust is broken, it can't be reverted and be back. This is what happened to Luna and I am not sure why people are still interested on it with the LUNC, thinking that it will come back.

a lot of people lost money because of that incident.
Not just with Luna but also with UST.

it won't be easily forgotten, even if we see a small increase like that, but it won't make luna like before.
It is not going to be back to the former, never. The supply of it is quite high and the ATH was too far from its current price and highly unlikely that if someone hopes for that, forget about it.
