If you break a law it is criminal activity and what Gandhi did was civil disobedience and if found by the law that you are doing it you will face the consequence, apart from that Japan legalized bitcoin recently and hope the government in India will learn about bitcoin rather than taking a decision without any major thought. |

Makes me wonder what their expected profit would be to stop and quit. I've seen many of these gamblers on Primedice who are something over +100 BTC in profit which right now is over $100,000 and they keep betting and betting and go bust and lose everything. 100 BTC is alot. In many countries you can buy a nice house or at least a nice condo and they are playing with it like Monopoly money.
It is their money, they can do whatever they want with it. Most of high rollers are early adopters anyway. They collected thousands of BTC and for them rolling with 1 BTC is like for me playing with 100 satoshis from faucet. When you combine early adopter and a bit of gambling addiction you will get exactly the profile of person you described. Early adaptor or not, still a lot of money. Sure it is a lot of money and now progame has recovered all his loss which is over 100 bitcoin and he wont play now till he bust and i am sure about that and if he is able to win more i am happy for him as i know how his mentality was when he lost those coins,he was pretty confident that he could recover everything back but he was not having any coins as he converted everything and busted the rest and now he is back and i hope he will stick to his words.  |

There is nothing illegal in bitcoin and RBI has never announced that bitcoin is illegal but they have warned people about it because it is not regulated and one MP who does not have any clue about bitcoin raised his voice in parliament ,hope you know that Japan has legalized bitcoin recently and i think they will come up with a verdict this month regarding this.

Did anyone notice that there is a minimum bet of more than 0.001 btc in some of their sports game. I tried to bet on over/under points for NBA games and there is an error message prompting me to increase my bet to around 0.04 BTC. I find that it is irritating as many other sportsbook don't have such high minimum bets for their game.
For specific matches they increase their minimum bet criteria and i have noticed that most of the time they used to increase when it comes to heavy favorites and they usually would give a good odd for that but the risk is too high for me to enter that sort of bait ,usually i enter live matches and when i find a match having those criteria i usually skip those. |

i think this kind of bet ( dice) all random, cause sometime i earned some from it but after that i lost much in it, so at total, i lost more than i earned  , i think i won't never want to try to dice again, but bet on sports still yes, hope primedice can open a website that bet on sports, trusted website . That is indeed sane advice. No point in giving the government a ready made list, in case a crackdown on Bitcoin is initiated. If crackdown really begins, government will simply go to centralized exchanges and get the list of users with their trade history. Crackdown will start accordingly. Crackdown relying on some email is pretty much of an obscure idea as anyone across the globe may send an email. I am not afraid of any crack downs from the government as i am not involved in any illegal activities and i do not really mind if they are planning to monitor my activity as the exchanges i am dealing with already have all my data and verification details ,to be frank i am not happy with the present government situation as i am not sure they are sane enough to understand basic things,lets see what the future holds. |

Please tell us how many even use smart phone there. mostly even can't operate simple smart phone and you expecting they will understand concept of complexity of wallet and those btc address look like some code numro alpabetic.
India do have a market penetration of over five hundred million mobile internet users and 80% of the internet users are using smart phone in India and my state has declared access of internet as a basic right for every citizen like food ,water and education and hope you can understand what i am talking about ,when it comes to specifically smart phone market hope you know that India is the worlds second largest smart phone market after China. if you can figure out to use the wallets there are smart people out there and you do not need to be a genius to understand bitcoin,most people are reluctant to use bitcoin but those who are interested are using it. |

What about people lost Bitcoin because they are not enough educated. People can fool them to sell BTC that it will rise many folds in minimum time and other thing.
India is not fully educated country where Govt. can ensure they will save themselves. Be happy that govt. understand us and not illegal BTC.
We can still trade hold BTC because of grey rule. If govt. make Bitcoin illegal we can't do much and even no one care and oppose against govt.
Because there is no lobby for Bitcoin in India.
Here everyone caring themselves. And it's true in India 95% Bitcoin using for only illegal thing or saving black money. So why govt. care about Bitcoin or Bitcoin holders.
I am coming from a state which has 94% literacy rate and it is higher than most US states and the rest of the world,so you do not generalize things that people are not educated in India,yes there are some states in India who have a very low quality of education,the ruling class might be dumb enough to ban the currency and i am not sure that i do believe in their capability to overcome a situation as we have seen in banning of 500 and 1000 rupee notes which was absurd in my eyes as the positive aspect behind that wont be fulfilled and i doubt their intention being fulfilled by those decisions.Hope they will take a mature decision when it comes to bitcoin after studying and consulting with the people involved with it. |

They never said its illegal but they said that it isn't regulated by govt or RBI so anyone using bitcoin will fully responsible for their loss using this type of currencies.
I wouldn't have bothered to post here if that's the case, but it looks like this article has been edited since the time I've made this post. The title was "Use of Bitcoin illegal, says govt" which is now changed to "Use of Bitcoin, other virtual currencies not authorised by RBI, says govt." I can understand the disappointment in the present government and still they are winning in almost every state.BJP have a bad reputation of taking against anyone and enforcing their will on every religion and still they are winning elections shows us the damage Congress has done with their rule Use of bitcoin is not illegal in India and these sort of FUD news are circulating for some time and even i do get calls regarding that every now and then for clarification. |

That was a great test match series between India and Australia and congrats to India on winning the series 2-1. I am proud of the way Australia played in this series as many people gave Australia no hope at all at the start of the series, some even saying that India would win 4-0 but Australia proved them all wrong as they fought hard in the whole series except for the 2 innings in the final test which let them down and in the end lost them the series.
It is true that the Australians showed why they are still the most competitive team in the world,they out performed India in the first test and gave India a good battle in every match and even i though India could win the series before the start of the tournament because India were dominating every team in the past season who visited and i never had second thoughts regarding that but this Australian team surprised everyone. |

Sweden shocked the world with a win over Portugal as i never expected them to win the match against a team lead by Cristiano Ronaldo and that too in his home town ,Joćo Cancelo is the villain here as he netted the third and final goal so that Sweden could win . i am really furious that i lost a huge amount of money with this match as i expected Portugal to win the match. |

Nope it wasn't on my side. Yesterday I was using my parents account and after 2 hours when I returned from outside, I saw my session was automatically expired. So I tried to login into my account and it said unauthorized. So I posted "why can't I login into my account". Today I woke up and tried to signin again and it's working perfectly fine now.
It would say that this is the first time i am hearing about a family account when it comes to gambling,your parents accompanying you to gamble ,looks like you are a kid and if that is the case it is bad parenting i am sure even Stunna and Edward agrees to this even though ED is a kid, as i would never encourage my kids to gamble rather i would discourage them and will teach him about investments rather than gambling, just saying. |
