1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will this fluctuation end ? on: October 19, 2019, 02:58:09 PM
Fluctuation would never end rather it will continue as long there is buying and selling occur in the market. It is difficult to predict price but the current is ranging 8k level. But I think the market in the coming days will move forward at least to see it will increase from 8k. Actually, this fluctuation of price could be an opportunity for most traders in buying at a designated price. Don't confuse yourself if we could take risks then accumulating btc is also good.
Yeah, as long as BTC would survive the fluctuations in the price would prolong, so we may consider it as a never-ending process. But I still don't understand why people hate these fluctuations as these only enable them to earn widely in this market. However currently, the fluctuations are not so prominent as the price now is still loitering around 8k$ but we can expect a major rally coming before the year's end and I believe we can also anticipate a hype in the prices after the 2020 halving...
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: October 19, 2019, 01:08:03 PM
The biggest problem is greed, when investors see something like 100 percent bonus on your contribution or Binance application in progress, they are just buying tokens without even to check if the information is true or not.
Yeah, greedy is the main reason why people get scammed so easily since they want to earn instant money and believe they can turn millionaire overnight thereby invest in the projects without cross-checking whether the provided information is authentic or not. And secondly, I think the lack of knowledge also contributes to the same since most of the people without having a proper knowledge invests in the unreliable projects as they are reluctant to do some self-research...
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin coins are losing popularity? on: October 19, 2019, 12:20:59 PM
Well, I don't think bitcoin has lost any of its popularity, in fact, it had become more popular than before. Even the price of the coin has declined somewhat now, it still remains as the crypto king. This coin's dominance keeps sailing high each year and now it also had gained a great wider acceptance all across the globe with many of the huge companies accepting it. So, I don't find any reason for bitcoin to lose its charm...
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coins should i buy? on: October 18, 2019, 10:38:32 AM
difficult to determine which coins are worth buying the current market situation is in a state of correction only survive and fall If you don't have more research about one coin, it's too risky to invest now but in my opinion more dominant be able to pump is bitcoin because the movement is very fast in market
if it is difficult to find altcoin then I recommend buying bitcoin only. analysis is not too difficult because it is certain that if we save and leave it alone in the next few years will certainly provide many benefits. The data already provide concrete evidence regarding investments from cryptocurrency

Bitcoin is top priority for the traders but if you want to earn more then you should go with the alts and choose those alts who's been established already since there are so many cheap top alts are on sale right now so provably you can earn whenever the alt season will came and perfect example to look for is tron, cardano, dash, ltc and also bat.
Yeah, right now I would prefer to stick only to BTC as currently, you have opportunity to get it below 8k$, but if you are looking for alts then I would suggest you go for ETH, BNB, LTC as they look promising and I think they have potential to show massive growth in the future. So, this would be the correct time to get these coins as all are quite affordable for now...
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will reach $ 2500 on: October 17, 2019, 04:55:29 PM
I think the price of $2500 may indeed be very heavy, but when ethereum has a very good development and can trigger investors to buy ethereum and increase the use of ethereum then it is definitely easy to do, imagine if ethereum has a very limited supply like bitcoin then the price can be very expensive because it will definitely be more difficult to get ethereum.
Yeah, I suppose that is too much to demand from ETH for now as the price of the coin is still facing a lot of difficulties but I'm sure that it will soon be showing some improvements in the near future. Since the coin is quite promising and have a good development so I believe we still can have such expectations for this coin however it can take a lot time, so let's be patient and wait for the future...
6  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC- When it back to 20k on: October 17, 2019, 04:26:29 PM
after bitcoin halving, I'm sure bitcoin price can reach over 20k. you can see the history from 2012 until now, which has undergone 3 times halving, and after that, the price always to the moon.

Yeah, BTC has a good track record of the halving and it is considered as one of the major events for the crypto. After each successful halving, the price has experienced a great growth rate and in fact, it had also attained a new ATH. Therefore we can easily expect the price to reach over 20k$ this time also. So, it is better to be patient now as I believe the halving would be worthy of it...
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are u buying alts? on: October 17, 2019, 02:51:22 PM
I think buying alts right now its good choice, its bloody red right now in top ten altcoin except doge coin, i am buying ethereum and stellar and hope get profit next week
Your assumption is right, surely top 10 altcoins are growing soon. But next week is hard to predict because once Bitcoin will raise automatically other altcoins are growing faster so it will raise at anytime. Majority of the investors are buy this dip so as soon as possible top 50 altcoins growing faster in crypto market.

Many of the investors are seeking this to be the investment opportunity and are trying to get the best out of the current dip by getting most of the coins at cheap. I think we can soon expect an uptrend in the prices so buying now will definitely provide you a good amount of profit...
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin use cases in different industries on: October 17, 2019, 01:16:25 PM
Many establishments accepts bitcoin as a payment method. In my country we have wallet for bitcoin. We can pay our bills online, buy load, buy e-pins, pay our loan and many more. And some stores in Malls accepts bitcoin.

It is much easier to spend Bitcoin for utilities in country where bitcoins have legal supporting like Philippines. All we need is some medium like as you mentioned and such third-party app act as a link between customer and service-providers. But in countries like Bangladesh, India where banks don't support crypto-based industries, it becomes very hard to spend Bitcoins directly without any medium.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !!! SO MANY PROJECTS !!! What 's going on ? on: October 17, 2019, 01:07:07 PM
There are no good projects this year. Most projects are scam and run away from this market after a period of operation
The market now has filled with scams and most of the projects are turning out to be a failure. Coming to the new projects, the investors are no longer interested in investing in them due to the lack of faith and trust issues. In fact, most of the investors now are making their way back out of the market. Let's see how long this scenario will prevail in the market...
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we get the best at this moment? on: October 17, 2019, 12:34:08 PM
Usually when a bad news or event happen about Bitcoin, the price falls down due to the panic selling which is natural on this space so instead of having negative thoughts about your Bitcoin holdings, why not take this opportunity to buy more at cheaper price if you really believe that Bitcoin is the future. It's still a long way to go for Bitcoin mass adoption but the only thing I can suggest is to trust the process and eventually everything will be worth it.
Yeah, this is how things work in this market, a single piece of bad news can change the course of the market whereas positive news can also improve the momentum of the market. Therefore, there's always uncertainty that what's going to happen next to crypto, all you can do is keep faith in the crypto and hope for the best...
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you still join the bounty campaigns? on: October 17, 2019, 11:55:47 AM
Are you getting paid? If yes, then which one gave you best rewards this year? Who is the best manager/s currently in bounty domain?
For this question, I think you already know the answer. The fact, You use the signature of one of the most popular projects later this year.

Cryptotalk is BTC-paying campaign not altcoin bounty. Also Yahoo62778 no longer manages bounty campaigns. He was active in bounties section in 2017-18 when he launched campaigns like Truckcoin, indahash but I haven't seen any from him in last 15-16 months.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you still join the bounty campaigns? on: October 16, 2019, 01:46:57 PM
An open question to all bounty hunters. What makes you still join the bounty campaigns?

I was the regular bounty hunter in 2017 and early half of the 2018 but once 80% of my joined bounties started to turn scam without paying a penny, I dropped the idea. By looking the current situation, I can conclude that the situation has now worsen and the success rate of bounties is now dropped to further low. So my question is why you still join bounties? Are you getting paid? If yes, then which one gave you best rewards this year? Who is the best manager/s currently in bounty domain?
Its simple bounty hunters join campaigns because they are getting paid for it even though it is very less or having coins which have very less value but still its sort of free payment and they exchange the coins earned in the market for whatever the price they are getting.I only join for the project which is good and its hard to find a legit one nowadays.

Free payment? Do you think bounty work is like free payment. Due to this mentality of bounty hunters we are seeing the extinction of genuine bounties. Projects nowadays prefer promotion/PR agencies over hunters because agencies give them better results. Hunters only concentrate on money which leads to bad quality of campaigning for projects and very low conversion rate.

Welcome to 660th thread on "Bitcoin is asset or money"

I don't think you're adding anything new to this on-going debate so I really don't see any need why you created this thread. There are hundred of threads here in 'Bitcoin Discussion' section and 'Economics' section on this topic already.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Cryptocurrency Exchange on: October 15, 2019, 11:16:56 AM
There is no doubt that binance exchange is the best exchange here in crypto world, it is the most trusted and popular exchange and i am sure that trading on binance will be very worth it and i suggest that hitbtc is also one of the best exchange now.

Did I listen HitBTC? A big NO to HitBTC

Whenever, I start my list of shady exchanges, I put HitBTC on the top. From last 3 years, I am regularly using HitBTC because most of the coins have it as their initial destination of listing so I am forced to trade my new coins on it. During my experience with HitBTC, I have encountered various incidents of shady activities. I will share one with you.

So this incident happened in Jan 2018. I had quite a good holding of TRX in my Binance wallet. Price of TRX was sky-rocketing and went from 200 sats to 1200 on Binance. Then around 5 or 6 Jan, it went to as high as 1800 sats. At the same time, it went to 1600-1700 on HitBTC too. But in 2 or 3 hours, market again wiped out and price was down to 1200 on Binance. However, buy orders were still open in HitBTC and I saw that as golden opportunity to arbitrage. So I took my TRX out from Binance and sent them to HitBTC wallet. But HitBTC immediately halted TRX deposits and all my TRX were stuck in the middle. Then I opened HitBTC forum and found out that I wasn't the only one, almost 20-25 more TRX stuck posts were created by people who were looking to make profits from arbitrage.
But HitBTC deposited our accouts after 3 days and before crediting our HitBTC accounts with TRX, it filled all open orders of TRX on its own making all the profits. The price further fell to 800-900 sats after 3 days and we were in loss from our previous position by 30%.
So maybe HitBTC is not a scam site but it is surely the most shady one.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If bnb overtakes eth on: October 15, 2019, 10:41:07 AM
I have found many ICO or IEO projects that use the Ethereum platform but I very rarely find ICO / IEO projects using the Binance platform, will Binance in the future Able to overtake this case? If they are able then I'm sure Binance will overtake Ethereum.
Many see BNB as the replacement of ETH since the coin had performed really well this year but still, it won't be easy to take down ETH. There are plenty of coins that are based on ERC20 technology which the base of the ETH blockchain and has always remained as the top altcoin. However, ETH from the past few months is not doing well but I don't think that it would be losing its position so early...
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you still join the bounty campaigns? on: October 15, 2019, 10:17:45 AM
The only reasons why I will be encouraged or motivated to participate in any bounty campaign will be;
if the project really address a particular gap seen in either the crypto space or the financial ecosystem,
if the crypto coin is already listed and has a good trading volume,

I don't think listed coins do bounties much. Such projects only do bounties if they fulfill both of the following criteria:
-> Have raised good amount of money in ICO (>$5m)
-> Have new update and want promote such update among community

It is very rare to see any project fulfilling both criteria these days.

the bounty manager in charge of the bounty, and

That was my main query actually. Who is known manager these day whom we can trust with quality?

17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question about Blockchain/Smart Contract/Decentralized Casino on: October 15, 2019, 10:06:00 AM
It's a bit different if we talk about other mobile apps, since it offers various other ways to monetize the apps, for instance, with push notifications and in-app advertisements. Apps also provide a more streamlined payment mechanism.

I didn't see any single significant gambling site till data that serves advertisements. Gambling business if run properly is already very lucrative so no reason why gambling sites want to include ads or push notifications to irritate players. Moreover, unlike other niche which are more mobile-concentrated, most of the crypto users are desktop-users.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoin growth too slow? on: October 15, 2019, 09:16:04 AM
At the moment I also feel that altcoin is very difficult to grow up slowly though, it seems that for this year altcoin has not been able to rise like last year where many traders and investors made profits from altcoin. So that with this incident altcoin traders are very quiet, sometimes taking even a little profit from altcoin becomes so difficult
I agree with you . Altcoin hasn't changed much in price over the past 4 months and this has affected investor sentiment. I think that if the market cannot grow well in the future, we will meet a lot of investment problems and it will not be good for our long-term profit. Now the market needs new investors and more participants, the value of altcoin will improve.
Yeah, now it's been months and we didn't hear anything positive from the altcoins. There's no growth in the prices and investors are greatly disappointed with the performance of the market. The market would require some more time to grow but it would be difficult to regain the trust of the investors...
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB good to invest at price of 0.0019 BTC ? on: October 15, 2019, 08:59:49 AM
Besides, if check exchange site ranking Binance is no longer the number and every altcoin which usually want to compete with ETH in smart contract business always crumble. Mind you, Binance is busy doing innovations without solid security.

Which source you used to check exchange ranking? Do you check it on 24h Volume chart on CoinMarketCap? If yes then I want to tell you that volume chart on CoinMarketCap is manipulated. Most of the stats are fake. No matter what list says, binance is still the most-widely used exchange for crypto-to-crypto trades.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: 2017 vs 2019 on: October 14, 2019, 11:34:21 AM
Very interesting comparison that analyzes holding ETH in 2017 vs holding it today...

Thoughts? I'm super happy to have swaped all of my ETH for BTC to be honest
If we compare ETH in 2017 and 2019 it is certainly very different, in 2017 is a happy and profitable year for many people who are in cryptocurrency and in 2019 at this time I feel that for the moment it is better to hold it for a long period of time and continue to observe market movements to determine when we will sell the coins.

A lot of things have changed if we compare ETH in 2017 and 2019. Back then in 2017, we sought ETH as a replacement of BTC but right now it is struggling for its own existence as many of the alts have come up and are sought as to its substitution. However, the price of the coin had decline so much and looks way more far from the ATH that it achieved previously, I believe that it would soon rise and we will be seeing a new powerful ETH hopefully...
