661  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have you ever been scammed ? on: August 14, 2023, 03:36:17 PM
One time, I got scammed by someone when I was doing an OTC trade, exchanging a few fiat money for 13 USDT. I'm going to name him as "Miskrib". Anyway I don't do deals with unknown people, but this guy is an admin from a group and is a really legit guy. However, I didn't really DM him before, so he approached me. And of course, I was idiotic enough not to check his profile, which had an username as "Miskrlb". So, what's the difference here in usernames? All he had to do was just change one letter to an L in lowercase to make it seem legit profile.

An i and l is very easy to distinguish due to the dot part unless you are in rush or really trust the user he is impersonating just like what happened to you. What platform you are using and do you post a selling topic? Because receiving a PM from someone that you didn’t ask for is major red flag when dealing P2P.

13USDT is still a significant amount on a 3rd world country. I’m just confused on how you get scammed by a man impersonating an admin while his profile description is different. Is this happened on telegram?
662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: August 14, 2023, 03:31:54 PM
Experienced gamblers can control their lust and desire, while amateur will always think that they can take money if they will continue to try,

The rest of it will be dictate with what the outcome will turn. Worst, an amateur will turn to addicted gambler.

It’s not about controlling lust and desire but rather they learn how to be satisfied when they play gambling because they knew exactly what their goal on gambling. If peope can control lust and desire then they shouldn’t gamble already but instead control it within themselves.

As an experienced gambler, I cherish all my gamblin games win or lose and this makes me entertained when gambling including the short pain when losing my money. An amateur addicted gambler doesn’t know what they really want to get and blindly gambling just to chase their unknown profit target.
663  Economy / Economics / Re: It's good that financial instutions Understood that they need to use crypto on: August 14, 2023, 02:46:13 PM
Yes paypal use crypto but instead of eth many users was expecting the TRON blockchain its faster cheaper and more used.
Eth transactions still too expensive i hope they start use TRON soon

Tron is bullshit blockchain network and too centralized since Justin control the majority of the validators using his VC project that he is connected. Tron is the most shady blockchain network including his huobi and stablecoin.

So far, despite of high price of ETH transaction fee they are still one pf therrusted and safest blockchain to rely on. I think BSC has more chance to be use by financial institution since CZ is very good on working with them as already proven when many multiple huge hack was stopped due to their fast action.
664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: August 14, 2023, 01:18:31 PM
We scout out solid measures to quit gambling, specifically pointing to the addicts, they do suffered alot and have lost enormous amounts of money in this process. There's numerous measures that would stop gambling addiction, perhaps it begins from ourselves and decisions. We might want to stop but deep down, we still have the determination to gamble which will be absolutely impossible for us to quit. Gambling is not an easy activity to anticipate in, rather we should stick to the plan of making good sources of incomes, other than settling for gambling which is unreliable and risky.

It’s very hard to pin point anyone with an online gambling addiction because you don’t see them playing physically and most of them doesn’t share their experiences even with partners and closest friends if they are losing huge amount since this is shameful.

And it’s very hard to to give an advice for an online gambling addict to stop because online gambling is very accessible. Yeah sure, it’s easy to tell them to self control or whatever advice but it’s very hard to implement in actual because gambling games is so addictive. They will not fall on addiction state if self control is easy to achieve. I will leave this part to professionals on how to solve this kind of issue.

They definitely need to add a dedicated customer support team. The current situation is not sustainable. There should always be someone available to answer customer questions. This way, it can't lead to long wait times for customers and won't lead to frustration when customers don't get the help they need quickly.

A dedicated customer support team would be able to provide faster and more reliable support to customers. This would make a more attractive option for players, and it would help the site to grow.

They already have a dedicated support team if you will try to solve their live support. They recently experienced an increase of participants compared before which might be the signal to improve their support by adding more staff that will attend all the caoncerns. Admin aria is very quick to response as customer support. What @zuzie trying to express here is their technical support that will work immediately on all of the technical concern which a customer support can’t handle.

I’m trying to browse the casino since yesterday after I post here using an ios device but the site is very slow to load. Does anyone here can play on the casino right now?
666  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |20% RAKEBACK TO ALL|SLOTS|SPORTS BETTING|70% RAKEBACK RUSH HOUR on: August 13, 2023, 05:26:12 PM
Fastest way to communicate with us is:
1. Site Live customer support.

I confirm that the live support feature is now working since I can manage to call a representative when I try this feature. This is not available the last time I want to ask some inquiry to the admin related to the game.

2. Telegram

When did you announce the telegram channel? The information is not available to the website. Only discord, facebook and instagram is available on the social media links on the bottom part of the casino. Can you share here or update the telegram link on the website?
667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: August 13, 2023, 05:21:29 PM
That is right. The problem with most gamblers is that they get addicted while playing slot machines or games with instant wins possible.Rarely I have seen people becoming addicted to sport betting, sure there are some of them who can't stay without gambling and once they win immediately place all the money in other bets yet they are very few compared to people who become addicted by playing these games where possible max win is instant.

It’s possible to be addicted on sports betting because there’s a live matches which a user can place a bet while there’s always a live games that can place bet every seconds since sports betting cover all the sports event globally including the local tournaments.

There’s a lot of people addicted on sports betting that result to more losses than slot games since they can bet huge amount on a single match on sports betting unlike slot games that usually use small bets per spin.
668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi revealed his identity... on: August 13, 2023, 01:54:34 PM
I don't think there is any law that can be use to put Satoshi in jail, and there is no motive to for the US Government to throw satoshi in jail. Bitcoin is decentralized, Satoshi has no control over it. What more likely to happened is that he will be hunted by cartel or mafia so they can take his supposedly 1M Bitcoin.

He would owe back taxes on the coins he mined

It depends if Satoshi is a US citizen or not. US has a lot to file case against Satoshi in case he is a US citizen and I doubt Satoshi will reveal himself if he is indeed from US.

What reason could the government put him in jail? If they can do it with Satoshi, why don't they put Vitalik Buterin or CZ in jail?

Because Vitalik and CZ is not from US. The only reason why CZ is having trouble with US Sec is because he accepts US customer to his exchange. US Sec jurisdiction is not globally and they can't sue anyone that is not their citizen or doesn't operate under their jurisdiction.

And guy´s. A little heads up.
We have been working on something very big. On something what we started already back in 2018.  On something what will be our biggest achievement ever. On something what will make a revolution in the industy.

We will tell you more when we get closer to lauch date.

Finally,Something big coming again in the casino and I hope this is related to the VIP program or improvement of house games. As a player of your original Blackjack for a long time, I relly like the previous version that gives a special power on the game once the gauge was full like peeking the dealers both card.

Btw the username is nor shorena but rather shoreno. Shorena is a popular legendary member in the forum that already not active.
670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: August 12, 2023, 06:34:32 PM

The simple answer is YES it's easy if you're just doing it for fun and entertainment,

I have different opinion here. It’s very hard to quit on gambling if you are using it for fun and entertainment because it means that you are getting positive outcome in there with profit or personal satisfaction. It’s very hard to quit on something that you are enjoying already. The only time it’s very easy to quit on gambling is when you are already bored and scared at the same time because that’s not for fun purposes already.

When in addiction and having fun is same level for me on how hook you are on gambling. I’m not an addicted gambler it’s very hard for me to quit completely on ga,bling because I enjoy playing even I’m doing it casually during my free time from work.

What I have done right now is try to get attention fir your cases, especially shorena and efialtis, I think the removal of Live Support was a bad idea. Best wishes everyone.

They are planning to make their live support feature exclusive to their high roller when their VIP was implemented which is still not working until now. I just hope that they keep the love support active before the VIP program was implemented so that players will not be blinded when there’s a problem encountered.

I have no problem too on deposit and withdrawal on all of the currency compared before. They also remove their manual withdrawal feature since I can withdraw instantly on Bitcoin last week wehn I play. This is the good thing they made before they remove live support.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for bounties and airdrops as we near bull season on: August 12, 2023, 04:59:50 PM
Nowadays bounty campaigns are not paying much compared to early bounty campaigns. At the moment most of the bounty projects are scams and they are going nowhere when the campaign is over. Only a few have the potential to survive in the future.  The majority of the bounty campaigns are worth a mere 100 to $200 per month, and this is not enough when you look at the current inflation and upcoming recession.

You are still lucky if you can earn a 100$ on a bounty campaign for a month with only using one account and participate and one type of campaigns since bounty manager nowadays only allocate very small portion of tokens for the bounty budget and the token valuation usually decreases dramatically when it was listed on exchange and distributed to all the participants that makes the rewards almost useless.

I can’t remember the last time I join multiple campaigns and earn almost nothing for a month of work. This time I start ignoring bounty campaigns and focus on signature campaigns that pays in Bitcoin.
673  Other / Meta / Re: Whats your take on adding 2FA key as a Bitcointalk account security features. on: August 12, 2023, 04:31:44 PM
I never thought of that maybe I was thinking password is only limited to 8 to 12 characters,  though you are right I don't see any reason of constantly changing password if someone already choose a solid one that could not be easily accessible by someone.
I do have that kind of passwords, a combination of familiar words and numbers but not random characters coz it's way too difficult to remember, you will end up resetting your password again lmao.

Also you will always be reliaon copy pasting the exact password since it's very hard to memorize random characters and symbols password. My iphone has a feature that automatically suggest a strong password on all my registrations. It is consist of so many random symbol and letter which is very hard to memorize.

I'm always skipping it because I will be reliant to my phone to access my account while it will give me a problem later on once my phone got broken.
674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: August 12, 2023, 04:27:20 PM
Somehow people on twitter believed these billionaires will really rumble in the cage. The gladiator type of fight in ancient Rome ruins is a kind of visionary way of looking into it though. Made me believe Elon is really just playing around.

You can’t blame them since Zuckerberg is really involved on Martial Arts while Elon is known for doing crazy things including buying twitter whihc he really did while everyone thinks that he is just trolling.

I still believe that this fight will gonna happened but I’m sure there’s a catch whichboth party involved might get something big out of it aside from the result of the match. They might reveal a huge project cooperation on the fight night.
675  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Are these Swaps legit ? on: August 11, 2023, 04:36:52 PM
Are these cross chain swaps legit?
-atomicdex.io
-transit.finance
-rhino.fi
-thorchain.org
-rubic.exchange
-rango.exchange
-defispot.com
-chainflip.io

I can vouch on thorchain because I use that chain swap before when I'm invested on Rune. Most of the exchange is a dex or chainswap from a blockchain that is not that popular or with low liquidity.

I don't want to rule out that they are scam because I don't know it but you can always check their smart contract audit and community to verify if they are legit or not.
676  Economy / Gambling / Re: l0tt0.com on: August 11, 2023, 01:54:45 PM
how about you take 5 minutes to read two pages back before posting some bs with the word scam fifty times.

Ignore use like that because most of them is just posting here on gambling section because of their signature campaign post quota and gambling post requirements. They didn’t even gamble which is the reason they are just posting some kind of criticism of opinion towards the casino even without any involvement.

The ne new game is very nice and fresh idea. I just thought that putting the arrow button to browse the other game is more ideal instead of slider bar at the bottom because it's not noticeable that there's other game besides the 2 games upfront. I only knew that there's an update which is why I browse deeper to find what's new.
677  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |20% RAKEBACK TO ALL|SLOTS|SPORTS BETTING|70% RAKEBACK RUSH HOUR on: August 11, 2023, 01:47:15 PM
thank's for the support peeps. just want to say that my account is still inaccesible and the blackjack.fun team haven't responded yet on my last email.

feel like giving up now.  Undecided urgh

Sadly, the removal of live support feature makes the connection to the support harder than before. Admin Aria was very helpful to all my query but now a simple bug inquiry too on my side is very hard to convey with the team.

Do you try discord? Can your post here your blackjack.fun username so that we can help you to notify admin once they are online on chat box. How much money still stuck on your balance?
678  Other / Meta / What’s the real use of this forum feature? on: August 10, 2023, 04:54:42 PM
I just notice the icon as shown on screenshot below when I accidentally click the icon. I'm not aware that this icon is clickable until I accidentally click it now while browshing the forum thread.

I just notice that if you will click the icon, It will display the thread that received a reply for today but I became confused on its real feature because it doesn't show some of the thread that received today post.

FYI, The icon will gray out when you scan all the thread that has a today replies on the thread. Anyone using here this feature in the forum?

Anybody remember here how long does bonus accumulated from rakback/torunament expires? I remember earning 5$ on my bonus balance last week and now it’s already gone when I was about to claim it? I thought the bonus life span is 14 days or 2 weeks because I don’t see the expiration countdown few days ago while my bonus is still available.

7 days exactly from the time the bonus hits your account. I stopped playing my bonus for a while now while waiting for my luck to change in sports, or waiting fir suitable competition Smiley

Thanks to this info. My mind is alread mixed with the bonus info by different casino I’m playing.

Really I hope your BJF situation changes because it's awful to play on slow speeds. Is it faster with mobile data have you tried that? Sometimes it's a device / setting thing.

I was about to play today to find out if blackjack house game is already fixed on my side but I decided to skip after seeing no bonus on my balance. I’m skeptical to play the evolution gaming blackjack because it’s very hard to sit on 5$ minimum bet  table due to limited table. My on,y way to enjoy this rake is by playing blackjack house game or risk playing on high minimum be table game.

Is the boost on for multiple bets still active on sportsbet. I rarely visit that part of the casino due to slow loading of odds.
680  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MEXC, insanely low trading fees. How are these guys making money? on: August 10, 2023, 11:32:14 AM
I have used MEXC sometimes because they seem to be so quick on listing derivatives of shitcoins which are so sweet to short at times after the pump, but to be honest I even fear depositing money on that exchange. I just deposit what I can afford to lose.

Now, the exchange has insanely low trading fees compared to other players on the market, which makes me wonder how they manage to stay afloat

This statement of yours answer already your question in the title. They are making profit on the listing fee from shitcoins since they are the favorite destination of newly launch project as centralized exchange lisiting. Listing sometimes cost a significant amount of money while they can promise a good volume to the project since MEXC user doesn’t have fees for them to use exchange frequently.

Removing trading fee and relying on the listing fee is a very nice move since they can’t compete to huge CEX if they will rely on maker and taker fee. Big exchange like Binance is very strict on listing and I think they use this as advantage to benefit on the increasing number of shitcoin being launch daily.
