The real courage of high rollers.  Only now have I seen such a huge single bet on a sportsbook.  Will he win the Northwestern Wildcats?  Or maybe the trend changes in the third and fourth quarters and the Pittsburg Panthers win.  Let's follow the scenes in live NCAA men's Basketball.

Pretty clean win in the end, don't think they were sweating too much.

2,3 million Tickets? Shocked
Wow I knew the number was going to be high but I was honestly not expecting it to be this high!

Ok, then my 20 Tickets might as well be shredded, I have a higher chance of being struck by lightning than winning something in this lottery.  Grin

Just hope for the miracle buddy, 1 ticket can even win something if the miracle comes. We have seen it on other sites where players with low number of tickets could win the main prize so lets pray together for the best thing on the draw this weekend. I wont hope too much obviously but I'll spend my time to watch the live draw as it will be something interesting and I believe Eddie will do more giveaways this weekend.

Even if the lambo does not hit for you there are 50 other smaller prizes! Smiley

Cool new feature for the sportsbook is the ability to pop-out sports livestreams. You can then browse around the website and even go to the casino while having the stream in the background,.

Time to debunk and address this misleading and potentially fraudulent statement by Stake

https://news.stake.com/us-election-2020-statement/

Given that we are taking bets on the result of the election a winning Trump bet will only be possible if certain criteria are satisfied. All of the following would need to occur:

First of all, Stake has ZERO legal authority to set criteria differing from the legal output outlined in the 12th Amendment of the US Constitution.

Trump receives 270+ electoral college votes

I hope I don't have to take any legal action along with Trump bettors and even if Stake as they say in the last part of their statement "will do its best to employ logic and reasonability around the outcomes as more information comes into play" once again should understand that there is no interpretation, it's either 0 or 1, the Constitution is the output provider, nothing else. Luckily your odd provider knows this and unlike minor crypto betting scam websites (like for example those I see advertised in the signature of some users here) safeguarded the market, you should have listened to your provider and shouldn't have agreed to be exploited by ignorant people that don't know how election works, you had all the legal rights to refuse early pay and that was a more professional way to handle it because you had all the legal rights to do so and Stake getting exploited like this makes it look weak in the eyes of intelligent and well informed bettors (especially politics and legal experts) but as long as the real winners get treated fairly, I don't care who Stake donates to.

We are waiting to see how betfair and all the mega exchanges with 100,000,000s on the line settle before making a final judgement. We were the only crypto website to pay out early on biden while still keeping trump supporters on the line for potential winnings. I really am tired of hearing complaints when you have not even waited to see how this gets resolved. Don't sweat over a hypothetical situation

I just finished playing Christmas slot games for the Festive Giveaway promotion, how do I know if I qualify?  And how will the selection of winners be made?  I hope I am one of the lucky winners to be given one of the ten boxes by the end of this month.  I would also like to try the Pragmatic Play promotion, unfortunately it is not available in the region I belong to.

Hey, all you have to do is place a bet on a qualifying game, no minimum bet required. If you played one of the games listed then you have already qualified:  https://promotions.stake.com/christmas-on-stake/. Winners will be chosen with a random number generator at the end of the month.
125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake or nitrogen my point of view on: December 02, 2020, 06:42:40 AM
Full respect to nitrogen, they have been in this game a long time. The reality is because Stake is a licensed website it has access to some very powerful strategic partners as far as getting live odds, livestreams, slot providers etc. The playing field is not level in that regard Nitrogen will always be playing catchup with Stake from a product perspective because of how they have chosen to operate. That being said in my opinion Nitrogen is probably the only legit way for USA players to sportsbet crypto.

We signed a pretty big livestream licensing deal to get access to over 170,000 different livestream events a year. It includes a ton of different events such as bundesliga, all ping pong, champions league, ATP/ITF tennis and many more and is available in most regions. These are the official streams as well so they will be much less delayed than what you'd find on TV or the internet. I'm pretty excited about it cause I'm pretty sure my computer has STD's from all the dodgy korean volleyball streams I've googled up at 2am. We'll keep expanding the offering with time but pumped to get this up and going for all the stakers.

The seal just expired today, it must just probably be renewed...
I wouldnt worry too much about this, I think someone must have just missed to renew it.
Its good to let stake know, but nothing that makes stake not trustworthy.

This was due to concern over the lambo raffle, unauthorized raffles are not allowed. We have explained there are no tickets for sale and that it is a giveaway not a raffle and are expecting them to reverse this quickly.

no, they arent. there nonsense allegations.  in the past week trump has had 17+ lawsuits thrown in the trash, the law firm repping him quit out of embarrassment and just today the new lawyers dropped all the big PA allegations with the 650k votes.  thats right, they just gave up.

That's super fake?? Where do you find this misinfo, is not that simple but there is no point explaining Cheesy

afaik this is Congress letter stating there is no apparent president elect... I don't blame you though, media will not report this for a while... people can't handle the truth Cheesy

https://republicans-oversight.house.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Letter-to-GSA-re-Transition-final-11.13.20-1.pdf

I don't mean to argue but I think only dishonest people would frivolously dismiss such a matter and I also think that the media cover up is evident and also biden asking money to carry out lawsuits to dismiss the audits is quite weird, that's all, but I'm not here to discuss politics I wanted to notify stake about the above said, formal complaints aren't to be carried here.

I hope is as you say mate... because it doesn't look good with expired seal... I hope they resolve this soon and stake keeps up to expectations because if they want to grow they have to be fair to all customers and not only accomodate some, this being said I hope they keep up to their long time reputation and get this whole election thing FAIR FOR EVERYBODY.

I feel like we've been more accommodating on the election than any other book period. I don't understand what you want us to do here, are we supposed to go investigate the voter fraud? If Trump wins and it is not contentious we will pay it out, if it is contentious (disagreements over who has what electoral college votes) then we will wait for things to shake out and make the right and ethical decision. The other popular crypto books have just settled trump as a loser which we could have done. I'd appreciate it if we could move the conversation on this thread beyond the election and voting concerns and focus on sports and gambling until there is concrete news regarding the election.
131  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Biden Early Payout! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: November 12, 2020, 02:00:36 AM
This is our biggest market ever on stake, the risk for us is in the millions so it definitely sparked a debate internally. Our odds provider is not settling it until next year and we couldn't hold user funds till feb or prematurely say that trump had lost just because the media has called the race. We did however create a set of criteria for what a trump win would constitute in case Trump plots a coup Cheesy . We tried to hit the right balance here and it has been amazing to see that bettors on both sides of the market have been telling us they are satisfied with our decision.

The criteria listed is as follows:

Quote from: Stake
Given that we are taking bets on the result of the election a winning Trump bet will only be possible if certain criteria are satisfied. All of the following would need to occur:

1. Voter fraud is proven
2. Votes are recast
3. Trump receives 270+ electoral college votes
4. Biden concedes

Problems with this criteria were brought up previously in this thread but not addressed.

1. Voter fraud is "likely to be found" according to some authorities, but the Trump campaign, the US DOJ, and Republican legislatures seem to be focusing on election fraud. That is systematic fraud conducted by the State rather than individual voters.
2. This is ambiguous. I do not believe this is referring to the selection of electors by the state or the voted conducted by the electoral college, as neither event has happened yet. This is probably talking about votes cast by the people. If so, to my knowledge, this has never happened in a US Presidential election. Votes are invalidated every year for many reasons. It seems likely that if the Trump campaign and GOP efforts are successful, then certain votes will be invalidated with no chance to be recast.
4. There is no requirement for a losing presidential candidate to secede in a US Presidential election.

The only decisive point in determining this contest is #3. I understand that sportsbooks need the ability to exercise discretion in cases where the results of a contest are contentious, but that discretion should be applied fairly and uniformly. Stake is paying out Biden bets on the basis that the electoral college will elect him. That should be the only criteria necessary to pay out Trump bets.

Note that I have no wager on this contest with this sportsbook. I'm just a little surprised to see this from Stake.

I agree.

You're opening yourself up to an even bigger headache with these stipulations.

#3 is all you need

in 2016, the allegations were pressed by dems after the official result was promulgated, they questioned the election integrity later.

In 2016 the media declared Trump the projected winner and Clinton conceded almost immediately.  That's completely different than the House exercising the constitutional right to impeach.

This year, bad things are happening and they don't cooperate to see if there isintegrity or not,
No partisans need to cooperate to see if there's integrity or not, in fact it would only make it worse if they did.  There are election officials and procedures already in place and there's a judicial branch to determine if the law was broken and how to remedy the situation if so.

Yeah I agree the language is not ideal, and for example voter fraud does not need to be proven for it to be a Trump win. Originally the post said that an example scenario would look something like this and it was edited by our sports team to say "all of the following" to basically give them a right of refusal over some weird situations that could arise. We will discuss internally and see if we can loosen it up a bit. As I mentioned towards the end we would be using "logic and reasonability" to determine the outcome so I could not imagine a scenario where trump won electoral college and we wouldn't pay out. That being said in my opinion it is hyper unlikely that trump will hit 270 electoral college votes without a re-vote or something major happening but stranger things have happened.

UPDATE: I am happy to say that I have had a chat with the team and we removed the voter fraud/revote aspects of the terms and conditions to make it more straight forward. All of that pretty much went without saying though we would have paid out regardless. https://news.stake.com/us-election-2020-statement/

This is a 2+ year old thread that was already replied to by myself on the first page. The creator of the thread was trying to fraud stake end of story, naturally they gave up a day after posting this.

The individual bumping this old and irrelevant thread is clearly desperately trying to smear stake. I have reported the thread to the mods requesting it be locked.
134  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbooks that aren’t paying out on Biden winning the US Presidential Election on: November 11, 2020, 03:42:20 AM
I don't think there is any huge issue with holding off to resolve this. There is a huge amount of money at stake for these books and the result is still not 100% confirmed with some sources putting Biden at 259 votes . Regardless of your political views, with Trump refusing to step down there is no 100% clear winner like we've seen in previous elections.

Bookie settlement options from best to worst:
1. Biden early payout
2. Wait until 100% confirmation
3. Biden settled as winner, trump as loser

Given that #1 is a huge risk to the book, millions for us at Stake and #3 is shafting all the trump bettors. The most straight forward option for sportsbooks IMO is #2 to wait for more clarity which will hopefully be provided once all the votes are counted, when the electoral college votes, and if trump's lawsuits are struck down. We did the #1 option but only because we wanted to set the example and could afford the risk.

People who put money on Biden but have not been paid out yet should be patient with their book. If they are reputable they are not trying to stall your payout and hold your money. Sportsbooks would prefer you to have your money quicker so you can lose it on another bet, they are taking the conservative route and probably ripping their hair out as we were the past week.

Official stake elections statement

Summary:"We have chosen to pay out on Biden early while allowing Trump bets to remain unsettled until there is more clarity."

We're actively settling Biden bets now as a win, if you bet on him you will get paid within 24h.
Man, seriously stake sets new examples for sports betting. How amazing it sounds to settle bets despite knowing that the user might withdraw the funds and move on later if they are known to lose somehow it would be a massacre for stake losing every bet technically. Stake keeps giving reasons to love them and really this is a great gesture from them, I was reading on their blog about this statement and really just don't have words for this kind of attitude towards the community, amazing!

I did make a bet on Trump so I have little hope now that maybe Trump can reverse things and hopefully come out on top but honestly speaking if that happens stake will lose a big amount of money as they already paying out Biden bets now and will have to pay Trump bets later so I don't know if I should even hope for a Trump win.

This is our biggest market ever on stake, the risk for us is in the millions so it definitely sparked a debate internally. These are the same who provided fake polls last month, how can you deny this? It's evident. Just wait for the process to end and for CERTIFIED results to come out through the Regulatory Authorities of the Election, regardless of the winner.
You don't seem to get it. The fact is that Biden is the 46th President of the USA(Thankfully) and Harris is the VP. Jared Kushner approached Trump to concede. No number of excuses will change the facts which is why you need to process the truth and accept the result.

This has got to be the longest settlement of a bet I have ever seen in my life.
Now we are crossing 5 days after the election has been done.
Didn't expect this from Stake. The facts are clear which is why them refusing to settle the bets giving for various reasons isn't right at all.

We are hoping that we can settle this for Biden bettors today instead of keeping them in limbo. Our team is going to get together and finalize the best way to move forward. Obviously this is a super contentious conversation and we do not want to rush it and make the wrong decision.

.......
You can track your profit for any given session using livestats which almost no other casinos offer, you can message support to get your overall profit which includes a ton of different factors like races, rakeback, reloads, coupons. We have been looking at making it so you can download an excel document with a full breakdown of everything but it has always been clear on the stats modal that you can message live support to get your overall data breakdown within minutes. I cannot for the life of me see how this makes primedice/stake a "scam" if anything it is slightly inconvenient and is on our radar.
No member has validated the statement about contacting support and everything will be given so far. What's stated in your site could be different from what you actually do like the case of this guy https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5285404.msg55483944#msg55483944 Can you look into that?

Downloadable file sounds good.

My assumption is that they gave that user their overall stats, they were not able to break it down to only the most recent month.
