China is planning to roll out a state-backed coin soon, actually Bitfinex CNHT might actually assist China in having worldwide adoption of its state coin.
Same way people accepted USDT, Asians especially will adopt CNHT since China is a power house in Asia.

DEX is not as popular as CEX because with dex, traders have to keep their funds themselve which is an additional responsibility not everyone is willing to take.

I'm not surprised that BTC dumped after the news. It's just like back in 2017, when CBOE and CME launched BTC started falling all through 2018.
I won't be totally surprised if history repeats itself.

In the meantime, try some arbitrage trading to earn some money.
1. Go to coinmarketcap.com and look for a coin with high trading volume. Trading volume should be greater than $500, 000 for starts.
2. Click on the coin and you will get the names of the markets listing the coin.
3. Buy the coin from an exchange with the lowest price, then sell in the exchange with the highest price.

C-cex, kraken, poloniex, bittrex are all good exchanges, but to get the highest profit from trading, you need to do some arbitrage trading.
Buy your coins from any exchange with the lowest price, sell on another exchange with the highest price though they might not be popular.
Don't keep your profit too long in an exchange.

It's comparable with HD wallets which generates all future addresses based on a seed. As long as you know the seed you are able to recover all the coins.
