Any plans to make this site secure https ? Would be more comforting to use to know information is encrypted and secure as it currently doesn't use https unlike other pools. That's the only beef I have with the site, otherwise great. Thanks!

Shares being accepted but stats are borked.
with all the recent interest in ltc and recent booms in hashrate we are having some small teething issues. As put into the news section of the site we are working on further db optimization to fix this and be ready for future hashrate. Should be fixed soon. thanks for your patience and understanding  |

Also if it was stratum auth error. Try again its refreshed every 1 min. Im sure i have covered this but these types of problems are best emailed so we can get ontop of them straight away. in any case let me know how you go. |

I will check the server logs in the meantime and make sure everything is ok on our end. can't use stratum as I am behind a proxy, thought the proxy where the problem, but tried other pools wich worked in th emeanwhile Are the other pools using the same port 3333 ? |

Like your pool ... nice functions.... up most of the time but the payouts always end up > 10% less than expected I know its pplns etc but after about a week of low payouts it really starts to make you wonder Is it just bad luck or just need more tuning ?? if its supposed to be 52 ltc a day and you end up wit anything from 39 to 42 that starts to add up how long has that been an issue? There were some adjustments that needed to be made to the get work a week or so ago and they seem to have fixed many of the issues. I suggest you also have a look at your confg as others have had hashrate reading wrong because of their settings. |

There seems to be an issue with the auto pay. Myself and a few others in pool chat confirmed that the threshold was reached but the auto payment didn't process. I am not too worried about it since my auto pay limit is set to 3 LTC but wanted to put up something for the pool admins to see. They may already know about it but wanted to put something here to make sure.

Have we ever figured out why income is either as expected or below, but never above expected like every other PPLNS pool I've been part of? I had to take my miners away from this pool due to this inconsistancy. And no this isn't over 24 hours. I stayed nearly a week. I've mined a lot of PPLNS so I understand how it works. Even the numbers on the graphs didn't make any sense.
If you read in the news section. There was an issue with the getwork a while back where everything was slowed down causing long rounds. We have since upgraded the getwork and so far things seem to be as they should be. Still got a close eye on it. |

I also has some issues originally using GUIminer with Reaper. Tried a few of the different hosts including some of the donation only ones. Still saw a larger than comfortable stale/invalid share count. Being pretty new to the scene (LOL) I decided to check out the Stratum instructions in more detail. Most of this is already explained on this page http://give-me-ltc.com/faq But it might be worth repeating here for others who haven't found it. 1. Download the file for Windows http://give-me-ltc.com/config-files/stratum_proxy.exe2. Save the files to C:\proxy\Stratum_proxy.exe 3. Open a command prompt window (start >> run >> cmd) 4. Browse to c:\proxy in the command prompt window 5. Copy this command exactly and right click and select paste in the command prompt: stratum_proxy.exe -pa scrypt -o stratum.give-me-ltc.com -p 3333 6. Minimize the command prompt window (DO NOT CLOSE) 7. Open GUIMiner 8. For Host use 127.0.0.1 9. For port use 8332 10. Enter your username and password from the give-me-ltc website for your worker(s) 11. Enter the mining settings for your card 12. Push start mining 13. Enjoy! Thank you for that . I plan to make teh instructions more detailed and make it stand out a little more. Got some big things coming to this pool soon |

I got very high reject rate recently on pool-d:80 port, the dashboard shows a total of 8% invalid: Paid Shares [All submitted shares from previous rounds which are already accounted and paid for.]

I also live in Australia. I recommend using the US Stratum server as i seem to get the best connection from that as well as other Australian users.
PPLNS can vary on luck. If you do think there is a problem with the estimate i will defiantly take a look at it for you.
Cool, I switched back to stratum+tcp://stratum.give-me-ltc.com:3333 from the US Donor server. If luck is in there that might be the problem. I finally have the two computers fully set up and running since last night so will run for 24 hours and see how it comes out. You cannot make a comparison on PPLNS with 24 hours. I am just wondering what the best server would be for me to connect to?
I am a donor and living in Australia.
I seem to get a lot lower coins than what the estimate says on the Stats page, somewhere between half and 75%.

A dumb question from me.
If i select payout to my ltc wallet. And the wallet happens to be offline at the time the payout happens.
Do i lose that payout?
Just chiming in for the off chance that you're running into a problem I've seen before. I've noticed that if I have an old wallet backup and I drop it into a Litecoin client that has already downloaded the current block chain, sometimes transactions that occurred since the wallet was backed up do not show up. The other night I restored a wallet with 38k litecoins, but it showed zero transactions and a zero balance with an up-to-date block chain. After my heart slowed down, I decided to delete the block chain and re-download it (took about 3 hours). When it was done, all my coins were visible in the client. This is quite common. the reason that you need to download the block chain is that your wallet.dat needs to verify the blocks and all their confirms (if that makes sense). |

For any that missed news update. We are currently down due to moving to a new server. We will be back up in 20 min or so. We are also offering every user a 1% fee for 24hours to say thank you for bearing with us and supporting us through this process Thanks, but it would be better if you didn't communicate through a website that is going down... We are back online and it was communicated on the actual pool for 20+ min. In teh notice box. There are over 1000 users so its imposable for them all to be notified. Enjoy the 1% fee thank you all Everyone gave an email address when registering so you could have mailed. You also took the time to make a forum post about a message on the webpage so you could have copy pasted the notice box as well. I repeat my earlier state meant. This was a urgent issue if i went and sent our thousands of emails there would have been more downtime. So i made a decision to quickly update the site and waste no time in moving the server across to minimize downtime as much as i could. |
