2  Bitcoin / Mining support / Yet another "Verification failed, check hardware!" problem on: February 16, 2013, 12:42:54 AM
Hello, I am experiencing the "check hardware" issue with poclbm, I've already googled and none of the solutions out there work for me.
I am using the latest poclbm (git repo clone), with an ATI GPU (Radeon HD 5450). Also, I do have Crossfire disabled and I am using the -v (vectors) option. Also, I do not overclock at all.

By the way, all submissions will fail the verifcation, none of them are ok.

Code:
# python poclbm.py -d 0 -v -w 128 -f 1 -r 2 http://REDACTED:REDACTED@api.bitcoin.cz:8332
WARNING: no adl3 module found (github.com/mjmvisser/adl3), temperature control is disabled

15/02/2013 12:49:16, started OpenCL miner on platform 0, device 0 (Cedar)

api.bitcoin.cz:8332 15/02/2013 12:49:16, checking for stratum...
api.bitcoin.cz:8332 15/02/2013 12:49:17, diverted to stratum on api-stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333
api.bitcoin.cz:8332 15/02/2013 12:49:50, Verification failed, check hardware! (0:0:Cedar, efdd8eab)

Version output:

Code:
# python poclbm.py --version
12.10

aticonfig:

Code:
# aticonfig --lscs
    Candidate Combination:
    Master: 0:0:0
    Slave: 0:0:0
CrossFire is disabled on current device
    CrossFire Diagnostics:
CrossFire can work with P2P mapping through GART

I am using Fedora 17 (Beefy Miracle). And I am using propietary GPU drivers.

Can someone move this post to the proper forum if this does not get any replies?

I've used bitcoins since 2011, but now I found some interesting things in this forum (peerbet trial, etc), among with some support i need (miners, etc). And I'd like to be able to reply to the majority of the threads in this forum. I've read the bitcoin wiki (en.bitcoin.it) a lot, too.
