481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risk management and responsible gaming on: September 29, 2023, 06:31:14 PM
Governments and several organisations work to encourage responsible gaming. This involves establishing betting restrictions, offering support to those who think they have a gambling problem, and participating in self-exclusion programmes.
And for some governments, they're even banning gambling in all forms, online and offline.

Government are also the one encourage to gamble like the lottery which is I think not ethical considering they are the one asking people to encourage responsible gambling as well. They may not consider it a gambling but in my area you likely have to like bet 3x in a day in a lottery and I guess that's already gambling in its form.
Yeah, we've got the public lottery and a portion of the funds collected from it are also going to the charity. While the winners of that lottery really are winning a lot of money. Although there's a controversy right now on this matter but if its' the government that allows this, there's no problem at all but in morals, you are the one to consider it and still be responsible.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do the swapped tokens/coins go? on: September 29, 2023, 05:54:35 PM
In other wallets as well, and these wallets are owned by the exchanges and people just like us. There won't be any liquidity if they're not there and just like us, we contribute to that part. Those tokens or coins that are swapped in exchanges or even in P2P won't just go broken and will be out of the circulation. It is in the circulation and will keep on moving onto other wallets depending on where it has landed. But most likely if it's on the exchanges, it will be traded and until someone gets it and holds it then it will be stopped from there.
483  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship and women on: September 29, 2023, 05:19:29 PM
When it comes to business, I still don't agree that men are for CEOs and women for secretaries, it all depends on your qualifications, your behavior and attitude, your knowledge, your capability, etc.
Everyone is qualified to become CEOs and secretaries. I mean that both men and women are qualified for both positions. It will just depend on the experience and the qualification just as you've said. When the company sees that you're qualified on it and you've spent a lot of time and has a long tenure to the company, that's how you're going to be considered not just in CEO position but also in other higher position that are vacant.

I don't think we should talk about gender when it comes to this matter.
That's fine because there's always the stigma in terms of career growth and gender inequality discussions.

Consider ETH mining with cheap electricity. It will be some costs, but you will have your own ETH mining + you can also use the server for Web surfing.
ETH is no longer a POW and that's why you don't need electricity or a miner for you to mine it. What ETH now is proof of stake (POS), you need ETH as if you're holding it and that's the power you need to validate transactions. Please check all details on their website.

486  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: September 29, 2023, 04:50:40 AM

Like hanggang 82 games or makapasok sa Finals? Medyo long run to pero sigurado profit.

487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to collect altcoins now or later? on: September 28, 2023, 11:45:41 PM
as long as the price you see fit then its okay to accumulate, there's no exact time to accumulate because we don't know at what direction the price gonna grow.
Let's say that it's always a good time to accumulate while we're not seeing the bull run. What many do is they only accumulate when they see the healthy market and after that, they don't do it anymore because they're discouraged upon looking at the market.

even if you buy at all time high you could always wait it out, but indeed the ideal time is when it got dumped and it already got dumped hard this time around.
That's when the patience is gone anymore from most of these investors. They don't buy when it's low but when it's up, they're buying. We do see the memes out of it that they buy at highs and sell at lows. Well, that meme is for real and hard to change when you're inexperienced but lessons are learned eventually.
488  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade only Bitcoin on: September 28, 2023, 11:30:00 PM
Trading is a lifetime skill that is always beneficial if you know what you are doing, the biggest mistake of traders is trading alt that most times doesn't obey market structure,
when it comes to cryptocurrency, trade only Bitcoin.
Bitcoin doesn't just give you profit, it gives you security, it obeys market structure, for the past 2yrs I have been trading, I only have losess only when I trading Alt, price action trading I utilize will trading always gives me result when trading Bitcoin,
If trading only bitcoin for you works then that's how you should keep with. But if you're encouraging people to trade what works for you, that's also fine but you'll not know what works for them perfectly. So, if trading altcoin/bitcoin and other tradable assets in the market works for them, then they have to keep with it as well.

but when it comes to Alt I really do feel as if am gambling, so my fellow traders, trade only Bitcoin, I don't know if anyone feel the same way?
The feeling is mutual when you trade with Bitcoin but it's just that we're more confident doing it because we all know that Bitcoin is the king of the market, right? Maybe it's just you that's feeling this way.
489  Economy / Economics / Re: marry rich: marry fiat rich or crypto rich, which is better? on: September 28, 2023, 10:55:57 PM
Everyone wants to be rich, but everyone has a different view in assessing wealth, whether it is wealth of the heart, financial or other things, this can be the subject of their assessment.
These days, there's only one description for being rich and that's all about money. Whether we like it or not, that's what truly is what the majority believes. Being wealthy is all about money to the most but as you've said which is right, there are many descriptions of what being wealthy really is. And as we goal for being rich, there have been methods that are being done the odd way or we should say that it is no longer odd because many are doing it.

But it's true that getting married requires money, but that doesn't mean you have to wait to get rich first to get it, this is a little different. IMO
Yes, working your ass 24/7 to become rich just before getting married. Many got that mindset before that everyone should be at the best status of their lives before they get married. But that's not the point or it is the point because as you have said that we've got different views.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 28, 2023, 10:16:36 PM
Dame to bucks is both good and also not good at the same time. Dame wanted to go to Heat, and he was traded to Bucks, and unlike in world of football, players can't really reject these type of offers which means that if you are traded than you are traded that's it.

In football world, if a team sells a player, the other team still has to convince the player to come, and in examples like Eden Hazard, even if Madrid wanted to sell him, he was injured, but he was getting paid a lot so he could reject any offer that was lower than his salary there, so Madrid was stuck with him until his contract was up. Same doesn't happen here, Dame went to a team he didn't want to, still a good team, but not Heat which was what he wanted.
They're bound to their contracts and that's why they can't do really much. But Heat did try to negotiate with him but his management didn't just agree to what was offered. There's been a lot of noise during that time when the trade idea was given.
That's how really it is in this league unlike what you've said about in Football. They can't do anything even if they don't want to get traded to the team that's gonna be their new home. There have been some players that are even being traded during their game and I think there's a need for amendments on this one in respect to the player. Well, there's always the clause on their contract that terms can change at the management's discretion
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: September 28, 2023, 09:50:31 PM
Budgeting and taking breaks during stressful gambling sessions is the key to having fun and not harming your mental health in the long run
And with that strategy of taking breaks, many gamblers forget to do that even if they follow and set the budget right. Once they're at it, it's hard to stop and that's making them hard to stop because when they start enjoying the game or start to focus on it, no one seems to stop them.
When the game is tough and it's just all about losses, you can't even stop them because they all have the same thing on their minds and that's to keep going and never stop at all. Until they recover losses, they are going to keep on chasing those losses until they will notice or when they don't have money left anymore to keep going. ANd that's why many gamblers are going far than they're expecting.
Being indecisiveis also another form of addiction because before setting up your gambling budget,  you must also set up some timing as when take a break from gambling and when you continue to gamble,  this is one thing that a lot of us need to settle with at every given time and space,  when I was overly involved in gambling although not addicted,  I found out one weak point about me that is if I open the casino and stay on it I will fine reason to play more games,  even if I want to just spend sometime surfing the casino.

So since I discovered that weak point,  I have decided to close my casino page once I am done exusting my set time.
I think you've just hit it and said what much needs to be done. And that's about finding their weak points and then realizing it so that they'll be aware of their actions. Because no one will really stop you and even if someone tells you to stop and rest, you might not even listen to it.
That's what most of us do and there's no denying with it because when we're on the midst of our activities through gambling like watching some games that we've bet for, no one can stop us there unless some urgent matters are needed to be done.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have any DCA plan on casino on: September 28, 2023, 09:29:07 PM
It's a shame that I missed the Rollbit token pump, I would have made a lot of money from this token, but I failed to DCA because we are still at the peak of the bear market, my mind was set on after the halving, before I can start buying some more risky assets like casino tokens, I guess I was wrong.
As you have said we're still at the peak of the bear market, why not buy it when it's still bear market and we're at the peak of it? You better DCA at these times so if you're saying that you have failed, it's not yet late.

Now I will like to know any not too old casino that's yet to launch their tokens yet, I think the Rollbit team did very well by handling their tokens with good utility for the holders and investors, what will be the next good casino token?

Is there any reputable casino that have plans to release a token? Which is your favorite casino token that you are looking forward to DCA few $$$the into? Do not advise me about how risky they can be, I understand the risk and I am willing to accept any losses.
IMHO, it's not really needed at all. If we get to see each casino owning their own tokens then from time to time, users won't be buying that and if they will buy. They will only rely on the one that has high liquidity. Not all casino tokens are tasting the success. Some are good during at launching but stays there.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next narratives in the next crypto bull market? on: September 28, 2023, 08:44:38 PM
In your opinion, what will be the top 3 narratives from the next bull market?

I would say this:
The appearance of an ETF on Bitcoin;
Artificial Intelligence
Social Dex
Bitcoin ETF is likely but don't forget that we've got the Bitcoin halving too, so that is two things for Bitcoin. I'm not sure about Artificial Intelligence, maybe it will gain some traction as it already did.
About Social DEX? Decentralized social networks?
They have been there before but I do no know if they'll end up the same as AIs.

Then maybe blockchain-based bigapps that will integrate payments with social platforms?
Much better with that or is there really a difference with that? But it seems that we haven't seen that yet and it's integrated with crypto payments.
And to be honest, with these blockchain based apps, they're having hard time to gain the traction as people don't want to try most of them.
Maybe someone who's got really a big influence on this community would be helpful to do that if they ever start one. And if not, the team should be proactive and that's the toughest challenge for them to make.

494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The BBC released a documentary inspired by SBF on: September 28, 2023, 08:14:53 PM
BBC should just release these docus whenever there's something off and a red flag that they've noticed for one specific personality and the service that it has been working with.

Is he the biggest loser? Because with the right lawyers and influence, he might end up not going to jail or just getting a minimal sentence.
We've seen that he's been with the powerful ones and he seems to be untouchable because of the influence and friends that he's got. Thanks to the donation that he has made from the money of the FTX customers.

496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin, Dogecoin Gain After Musk's Tweets, But Will There Be Another Bull Run? on: September 28, 2023, 09:42:13 AM
DOGE could go all the way to $1, if Bitcoin goes on a long-lasting bullish trend. A target price of $100k per BTC should keep DOGE above the $1 threshold. It doesn't need Elon Musk to succeed. Don't get too excited about it, especially when it's a "meme coin". There are new projects out there with better features than Dogecoin.
Bitcoin has to go x4 for that price but with Dogecoin going to $1 needs more than 10x of gain. While it's known that it's almost there during its prime peak but as you've said that if Bitcoin remains to be priced at $100k on the next bull run, you're right that it should be sustained for a very long time because that will also push the price of it, not just Dogecoin but also other altcoins. But on these market of altcoins, it's tough to get back on peak when it's from there already.

Why would investors pour their money into a "meme coin", when they could put it all in a serious project with real use cases? Bitcoin, and Ethereum is where the money is. The crypto market is speculative by nature, so expect the unexpected. Who knows what the next big thing in crypto will be? Just my thoughts Grin
They're all for the quick money that's being pushed by huge and retail investors there. It's like a seasonal type of trading if it's about these meme coins.
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: September 28, 2023, 09:06:53 AM
Gilas won against Thailand with a score of 87-72. After the win against Bahrain, Gilas is now 2-0. The same standing as Jordan and they're going to face them on Saturday, Sept. 30. Either Gilas or Jodan will have their very first loss against each other for this Asiad. Brownlee did good and it's very visible. CJ Perez also did it. CJ Perez really is a good player and the team can always count on them. They need to rest until Saturday for the preparation against RHJ and Jordan.

The score was very deceptive as we thought that was an easy game for our Gilas team but it is not without a scare. One moment, Thailand led by as much as 10 points due to Tyler Lamb's explosion in the rainbow country, fortunately for Gilas, they answered that with a 15-0 run that give them the slim lead.
True, I even thought that Gilas was about to lose this game but good thing that they didn't. Lamb is a good one and Thailand's lucky to have him.

Gilas vs Jordan is the match that will test this version of Gilas but TBH, i tapered my expectations as Jordan is a strong team, if i'm not wrong, their roster is intact, i mean those who played in FIBA were the ones also playing in the Asiad.
I'm also expecting that it won't be easy for the Gilas because we've seen that Jordan is a good team as well. With this roster, I'm still hoping that they'll be able to beat them.

499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB Coin Hit $300 Mark in 2023? on: September 28, 2023, 07:10:04 AM
Why would you invest in BNB with such a high market cap when there are so many new good chains preparing to launch?
It's because BNB is already known and established and people want security when it's about investing in this very volatile market. Just like what we're telling people that they should buy Bitcoin because it's the safest asset from the entirety of the crypto market.

zeta, QUAI, shardeum, Q Blockchain are a few.
There are good new projects but there is no assurance with most of them. If you have that confidence investing in them, that's your opinion about it if you ever did your research and many don't have the same thought as yours.

*Has Google been your friend?
Yup, for so long. And we've got this word in our country when someone asks a thing, GMG (Google mo g*go). Means google it stupid.

*How long have you been using Google?
15 years or more, maybe?

*Do you prefer other search engines than Google lately and can you tell why? (If any)
Although there's duckduckgo and bing, I still use Google even it eats a lot of space on my RAM! LOL.

*Is there any improvement would you like to see in Google that you think are not included assuming it is possible?
I have no idea, it seems that they have all of it already.
