9121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 20, 2020, 10:43:50 PM
Kai Sotto is putting all his efforts to make an NBA debut in the future. If he won't be listed in the NBA 2021 draft, I think he will still continue to work on NBA training camp. These players that dreamed of participating in the NBA do have pride so I don't think they will end up playing on PBA but only on the international league representing the Philippines.

For example, Kobe Paras is almost overqualified for becoming a PBA draftee but remains to play in the global league. After several years of training in the US, these type of players won't just accept the fact that they will instead land playing on the PBA. So to continue his goal, he will just play representing the country in international leagues. That's what I'm expecting too for Kai Sotto. He will not consider playing in PBA because of the pride but will play as a local squad in international competition for a much better impression. A good one as we need big man in international competition.
Isn't it that Kai is about to be drafted for NBA because he's already in the G-League? I'm surprised that there's a news that he's going to be part of Gilas Pilipinas then there will be veterans part of PBA that will be joining the team too. Kai has a bright future in whichever league he'll join.
I also doubt that he'll go to the PBA after all of his commitments and trainings that made on the US. He'll take the example of Thirdy Ravena that chose to play on Japan's through team, San-en NeoPhoenix.
There's no conflict of interest I believe, his contract with the G-league might be over soon, so he can still play at the FIBA. He wants to get drafted in the NBA, that's basically the reason why he is in the US now, but it's up to the NBA team now, he just have to play well in the G-League in order to be recognize.
I've seen good news for him before and that there's a certain NBA team that would love to draft him. But I've forgot what team is that.
Well, he's young and can explore more things but I'm sure this kid is aiming for more and whatever he's taking and will do right now is just a stepping now for his bigger dream.

9123  Local / Pamilihan / Re: USDT TO ETH COINS PH :( on: December 19, 2020, 09:33:05 AM
9124  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pagpasok ng Tao Sa Crypto on: December 18, 2020, 09:22:44 AM
9125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which multi crypto wallet is the best? on: December 16, 2020, 09:31:43 PM
AFAIK, most of the multi-crypto wallets are closed source. I've used magnum wallet and they're giving private keys for each of the wallet that you choose to have but it's currently suspended and I don't know when it will come back. The other multi-wallets that I used are coinomi and exodus but they're not open source, right?
How about jaxx? but it's also closed-source? correct me anyone.
9126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs Eth2 on: December 15, 2020, 09:57:12 PM
Whichever the community supports, we have no choice but just to follow the rounds and adopt what is winning. ETH or ETH2 as long as it retains the Ethereum that I'm holding right now, I have no problems with that.  Tongue
OP explained very well for the fees. Before, Ethereum's gas or fee isn't really that much. It was named as one of the altcoins to have the cheapest transaction fees way back years ago but due to the demand, it has increased. And the same could come around for ETH2, when there's already a huge demand and too many users and transactions, it will increase gradually.

If the Gin Kings will be crowned champion, my vote for the Final's MVP goes to LA Tenorio.
I'm also shipping for LA to be the finals MVP but still that's not for us to decide. But if he does, then that will make us proud who shipped for him to receive the title for this PBAs first bubble conference.
Later, we'll see if it's the final game or there will be a followed up game or it will end 4-1 for the Gin Kings. Who's eyeing for a 3-2?
Well then, the series has ended and congratulations to the Gin Kings, and this eyeing for LA Tenorio as the finals MVP has happened.  Smiley

It's been announced that he was the Finals MVP and its his first win in the all Filipino Cup.
At 36 years old, still playing at its best, we can still expect more from him and him being the PG of the Ginebra Gins is making the team better.

Still no news for what's next on this successful bubble?
He never gets old and truly deserve. I'm still in the sense of appreciating that he got the finals MVP though but moving on this time.  Smiley

It might take time but we know JuneMar is a tough guy, he can still make the team better even if he will not really score his usual, as long as he is in the inside, the entire team's confidence will be back again. I'm looking forward to that, just like me, people also expect a lot of the consistent MVP in the league.
I agree. Having a big guy like Junemar inside the perimeter will still make him able to do. As long as he's inside/under the ring, he can consistently contribute through defense.

Did anyone of you just noticed the bug recently on coinmarketcap's 24-hr volume, total crypto market cap and its BTC dominance? For those that haven't seen it yet, here's a picture.

Red for Marketcap and notice the difference of Total Crypto market cap and bitcoin's and ethereum's market cap.  Grin

Violet for the volume

Green for bitcoin's dominance @ 169.1%!!!

I forgot the "decrease over the last day". -64.28%  Grin

9131  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to introduce Bitcoin and block to people on: December 08, 2020, 07:49:52 PM
I thought you want to "block" people as per the title you have. Well, change the title into blockchain. Ok now, if those people in that village don't show interest about bitcoin, then you don't have to act as a hero of introducing it to them while them, they don't care at all.
Introduce it to the people who really are interested knowing about bitcoin and blockchain. And for your introduction, you can simply download pdf files online and download YouTube videos about introduction to bitcoin and blockchain that you can have them watch, there are many of those.

Seems like the injury is serious as per the news.

SMART CLARK GIGA CITY — Jayson Castro is now listed as day-to-day after getting hurt in Game Four of the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup Finals Sunday night.

Quote
The 34-year-old exited at the 9:35-mark of the third after grimacing in pain on the floor following a drive. It took him a moment to back on his feet, and needed assistance from teammates on his way to the bench.

He never returned to the match, leaving with just two points, two assists, and two rebounds to his name. Worse still, the Tropang Giga lost, 88-98.

With the information I read, I don't think they will still risk Castro to play, they'll just loss the series anyway.
There's not that much left for the TNT and this is going to be a sure win for the Gin Kings already on Wednesday. The lead is with Gin Kings and this won't be hard to accept if the TNT will lose the possible last match that they have.

but who would know when an injury would happen?
Well, no one was expecting that to happen and it's an injury and you're right. It's an uncalled situation.
9133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 06, 2020, 09:50:01 PM
3-1. For the standing and it's very easy to guess that by the fifth game, this will be taken by the Gin Kings. Get ready your money guys on Wednesday.
Our neighborhood is on fire dealing with the finals and just for the sake of argument and betting, there are Ginebra fans going with TNT and betting on them.
9134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2 ledgers but different seeds? on: December 05, 2020, 09:24:41 PM
Security wise, I would have thought having the same keys for each ledger would be more secure ?
What's the purpose of owning 2 ledgers and having the same seeds on it? I'd prefer to have each of them with different seeds for different purpose like retirement/holding - short term and long term. It's actually the same if you own 1 ledger and use the seed that it has generated. There's nothing wrong with that idea but I would put each of them in different secured locations just for the sake of backing up if it's for the same seed. You don't need to have 2 ledgers for backing up your only one seed like what Upgrade explained about writing on a paper.
9135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A game called Ending on: December 05, 2020, 08:22:11 PM
I think it's only familiar and popular in our country. But for the other countries, they don't have this style of gambling through getting scores of a basketball game at the end of the game. I haven't seen a bookie that have this as well but if there will be, I think it's an interesting feature that they can add for each games for basketball. They could as well add it to other games that has a long scoring for the sports but I think it's only ideal for basketball. Maybe in e-sports like Dota 2 can be applied as well through scoring/kills at the end of a match.
9136  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ATH na ba? on: December 04, 2020, 09:09:52 AM

In my own point of view what just keeping others delusional is those who are trading in the market kasi sa mga HODLERS talagang chill lang mga yan sa ngayon.
Totoo, mga holders chill lang talaga at may plano pa sa mas matagal.

what adjustment will TNT
brings coming this game 2, they need to keep close as BGSM will not lose every opportunities to win the title.
We don't know but I'm sure they are prepared for the match later. Have you guys placed your bets already? is this going to be the usual exchange of win and lose?
Game 1 win, game 2 lose and so on and so fort. What do you think?

Knowing PBA for sure exchanging of wins will be the result and I expect the game to reach at game 7 since it's a million peso business to them. Remember the bubble take long month to take place so provably they will take the chance to get more money from it.

But I'm placing my bets this time to Ginebra since their rooster is solid.
Congratulations to you. Ginebra just won 2 points in that match last Wednesday. The impression of making the series long is very common because that's what we've seen many times in the history of PBA. But we will see this time if Ginebra is going to sweep it.
Game 3 later and we'll see if TNT will win this time or it's going to be 3-0 for the Gin Kings. That would make it boring if it's going to be a sweep and straight win.

Check domain sales on Digital goods (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0).

I don't simply need a domain. I need a website with traffic. In that section there's nothing interesting.
I forgot to say that it includes websites that are on sale. Should you check there and see what are the available websites on sale that you're looking for.
Just a few browse from there and you'll get to see what are those websites and you might see the ideal website you're looking for. Just in case that you still haven't seen one.

Check yourself! There's nothing interesting!
Most websites/domains are actually sold in Auctions section, but even there it's mostly domains with no traffic.
I'm just giving you a clue where to find and if you think that's not your taste and the website you're longing to buy then proceed to the next page or thread or section that you have mentioned.
I'm only giving you the idea of where you to look at because I've found news websites were up there for sale before.
