1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need Help! on: Today at 07:38:14 AM
Thank you everyone! I am glad I stopped by here. I do believe my opening statement at the beginning of this thread. You dont really know what you dont know until someone that does know shows you. I learned a long time ago when I started futures trading, you need to swallow some pride, ask some questions, and good people will answer and help you. In my own community we have what's called THT. Traders helping Traders. We dont rely on signals, or any 3rd party systems, just good old fashioned market analysis and shared info. I opened a Bitcoin chart today and have it running on one monitor and will start doing my homework. All that really got hurt in this was my pride, and that's a lot better than sending some scammer 1100 bucks. I am looking for another income stream, who knows maybe I will venture into this crypto market slowly. I know now where to come for the straight dope. Thanks again
It's okay mate. There are things that we don't know but the people that's close to us knows well about it. There's nothing wrong if you think that your pride was moved by what happened.

But the most important thing here is that you've learned from this happening. Good luck to your career and future endeavors.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price are decreasing? on: Today at 06:19:12 AM
Well, this should be the avenue for anyone out there to buy at the dip because the market really went down some weeks now. The time or perfect time to buy cryptocurrency is when its price fall overtime, so, buy a fraction of Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency coins or tokens  will be of great importance now. There is no time to wait for another  time to buy than now.
Just be careful when we say 'other' cryptos. A lot of it are misleading and can potentially make the person we're suggestin to lose instead of making. Don't trust most of them as they're needed to do research before buying any of it.

Unless, they are buying the known altcoins or tokens that we're saying in general. But if the person who have heard our suggestion are careless and just simply buy anything he sees and considers it to be good based from what we've said, that person might blame us for that simple suggestion.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia is proposing a new law to declare cryptowallets or be fined, go to jail on: Today at 04:27:10 AM
I've thought that they were not going this far and wouldn't be against to crypto. Hatshepsut's right. It's still a proposed law but there's a big chance that this will get the support of the law makers and will make it eventually to pass it as a law.

I honestly think that they're with crypto as with those videos I've watched where their finance ministry was in contact with Vitalik for some certain upgrades and partnerships. Or, I'm just too optimistic with that as I watch and thought that it's all about adoption.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government figures or politicians supporting Bitcoin? on: Today at 02:59:07 AM
Let us expect that there will be a few countries that will go against it as it can't please all of them. I think these politicians doesn't really see the technicalities of bitcoin but they only see it simply as an investment asset and, as long as it can potentially give profit to the investors, that's how they understand and giving it an importance.

The impact, I guess not that much for those politicians and countries that doesn't really have a say about bitcoin or blockchain. They will never know how many bitcoin people are there in their country unless there's an established exchange in their place and being used by most.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Should Be By The People For The People. on: Today at 01:53:06 AM
I've noticed the name "Wrapped Bitcoin" as there's also one with the same name existing currently at the top rankings on Coinmarketcap.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/wrapped-bitcoin/

I thought that this project is that but after looking to the website, they are different. I think that this project is trying to copy the other project that's currently valued at $10,688 to mislead investors.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people claim cryptocurrencies aren’t an asset? on: Today at 12:19:24 AM
Good point of discussion but as I read, I've seen OP is with the project of concordium. Anyway, as for determining if bitcoin is an asset class depends to the people looking at it. If those are the people from the finance industry, there's always the division who believe and classify it as an asset and there will be those that will say that it's not.

With the advent of such practices, cryptocurrency may start being viewed more seriously in the legal world and smart contracts can be legally enforced too. So cryptocurrencies can probably finally be seen as an asset even according to local laws of that particular country.
Some countries can actually acknowledge bitcoin as an asset and in fact, there were some that already did it.
7  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: how report interpol about site dice on: September 25, 2020, 12:34:26 PM
I feel like the OP is just trolling now and creating unnecessary drama or attention to him/her. the OP posted a fake scam accusation against prime dice then after that he posted a "flawless" strategy that ensures profit every time you gamble.
He's also the one who made several accusations in the past due to his frustrations accusing other casinos to be a scam because of his losses. Maybe the thing here now is that he'd lost and he's come up to an idea to report it to Interpol.

If he lose, he'll tell that the casino is a scam even it's a reputable one.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need Help! on: September 25, 2020, 11:27:54 AM
I will stay away from these folks.
You have to. I've heard the same story of how those people that I've watched shared their scam story. It's like yours, there's someone that they've just known through a common friend who told them that guy was earning through sort of trading.

And you know what happened next, it's exactly the same as yours. People shouldn't trust easily with just connections until they've fully understand what, where and whom they're investing with.
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: CasinoWow presents the Most Amazing Bitcoin Casinos! on: September 25, 2020, 05:03:35 AM
I'm also welcoming you just as others did, welcome to the bitcoin forum! I thought that this is another casino that we can look at but it's more than that, yes, there's more choices as it's the same as other websites that's directing gamblers to different casinos that they suggest.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Telegram followers providers - is it working? on: September 25, 2020, 04:13:58 AM
Basically these kind of services hellps only to increase the number of real member on a group but not going to give any benefit with such kind of member.
Yes, for the increase of numbers of followers it is guaranteed but it's good that he did mentioned the pros and cons of this type of service. The client should be aware that availing such service will not guarantee him the proper engagement that he might be looking for.

People will get annoyed for sure when they get added into groups without their permission so we can't expect them to become an investor.
I think I've seen somewhere that he talks about this, his account was being added to various telegram channels that he didn't even joined. We now have an idea of how it happens.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Technical analysis of Bitcoin dominance index on: September 25, 2020, 03:23:09 AM
But Robert Kiyosaki, author of The Poor Father's Rich Dad, believes the discovery of the corona vaccine will lead to a short-term decline in bitcoin.
Isn't this the "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" book? I just stumbled thinking that it's a different book after reading it. But regards to his speculation about the short-term decline, isn't it that it's the correction that we recently just experienced?

And after it has closed to $10,200, there goes the recovery and we're at the sit of $10,700. There could be another wave for the correction just like the usual market that we see for bitcoin.
12  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Another korean exchange on spotlight. Bithumb raided by police over fraud on: September 25, 2020, 02:37:10 AM
The question is, is there someone who would be willing to cash out $430 and $604M and will
really be ready to face up on the problems that had been left in the platform? No one will for sure.
A bigger business or exchange that sees their worth and sees that this is an opportunity for them to takeover the exchange. But you're right, if the buyer would have been ready to take all of those existing problems and clear it with their own way.

It ain't worth it for them for that takeover if there's a problem that they have to face instead of taking over the operation on their hands without any problem but only a change in management.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ‘Young Investment’ Wallets at Highest Level Since February 2018 on: September 24, 2020, 11:00:52 AM
It is their responsibility to do research first or ask through any medium that's related to bitcoin investments, actually there's a lot of them if they'll just search it properly. There will be people who are willing to help them unless that guide has intention of shilling the project they're investing with or guide people through wrong so called 'bitcoin investments'.

Being a victim once is already enough to learn and, I guess many have decided to pursue holding and buying bitcoin after understanding it and making a plan how long they should hold it as an investment.

But unfortunately others doesn't bother to do a research and only listen to the people who invite them on that scam sites but what good thing there is other learned their lesson and do some good counteractions regarding on the incident happen to them, I see a lot of people now are talking about trading on binance and also in uniswap which I think a healthy way for them aswell for other to have a fresh start.
That's their problem if they don't take time to research with their investments involved to bitcoin. And with these stats, this shows that a positive thing has happened within the last two years with those wallets.

People learned and it's easier to hold than to put it elsewhere that promises guaranteed profits. Luckily these people have had enough with the past experiences that they probably had or simply learning with the share of others experience.
14  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Lowest fees on btc exchange. on: September 24, 2020, 09:54:33 AM
As you can see it states 6 years of experience for our team building up and coming all the way to ExoCrow.com not months since domain registration date.
If it describes the experience of your team then add some notion that it's not the website's/service's tenure. But with all of that information given by other forum members, not original content, misleading descriptions, and not that much information about the team.

It's best that possible clients avoid you as you have something fishy on line.

15  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ‘Young Investment’ Wallets at Highest Level Since February 2018 on: September 24, 2020, 08:41:04 AM
Yes, likely they are. The disappointed investors who became a victim of those scams and too gullible for those type of investments. They are the ones that don't do research as they invest and just invested to the words of mouths from the people that they've heard who earned with the market.

Just like today, the market isn't shaping well and if they'll start to notice it. They might see how profitable it is after this storm.

That's sad reality but actually some other has been hyped from the profit they see to the other who's claiming earning a good profits by investing at those scams and we cannot blame those victim since there's no knowledgeable person guides them on what is the right way for their investment. But what good thing there is they already take their first step and if they continue this and make those past scam as a lesson for theirselves on not to believe on the same scams then for sure they will earn a real profit. Provably those victims are just monitoring and learning about this for now and will join again when bitcoin will crazily pump again.

You posted it to the wrong section. The right section for this is Digital goods.

But if you want an auction, it's on Auctions.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some thoughts on cryptocurrency loans on: September 24, 2020, 05:38:07 AM
I might use those crypto loans if I don't have anyone to ask or borrow money with. But I'll use the popular ones and I might choose nexo or crypto.com for it.

https://crypto.com/en/credit.html

https://nexo.io/borrow

But these loans doesn't have any difference from the traditional borrowing because they'll ask us for a collateral.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: private key doesn't work on: September 24, 2020, 02:59:31 AM
That's unlikely to happen. Private keys that were generated were always correct but if it's wrong, the error isn't in the generation but to the user who have saved the keys.

It's either there's a misspelled word or missed words upon writing the keys. You must remember that this is your total keys to your funds so be sure to write the right words and check it as you save a backup.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Payment reduced due to the increase gas fee on: September 22, 2020, 10:35:25 AM
Okay that is good, it is a good idea but sometimes don't actually know if it's real or not. But as you said it may like be fiction.
Most of them are scams. This has happened before and even during the bullish turn of the ICOs and there's a huge market for it. A lot of bounties were made and bounty hunters have been there.

And we can't just ignore the same scheme as there's already the same method that's being done to scam people. Because of the high value and flock of the bounties and projects which seem to be most of them were successful, they're asking this to the participants. I don't know how many was exact number of the victims but IIRC, there's a lot who have been victimized by this scam.

I see 🙂, I have to be very careful. Thanks you such much
Glad it helped, no worries Mr.Harry.

Just be careful with everything you see on those bounties especially with the terms and what they are asking. Be free to ask in the forum if you are not sure with such requirements that are being asked and if you're in doubt of it.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ‘Young Investment’ Wallets at Highest Level Since February 2018 on: September 22, 2020, 07:57:12 AM
We're expecting them to come again if the actual bull run comes and it's making the speculators crazy and even those observers that are still in the middle of their thinking whether to buy or not.

Maybe the one who leaves are those victims of ponzi scheme since for sure they will leave bitcoin once they didn't find any profitable platform for them to join with, but if they are trade d provably they are just there hodling or waiting for possible best entry to buy and earn even if the market is in bad shape right now.
