1  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you remember Bitconnect? I lost 3500 dollars in this pyramid! on: June 17, 2018, 08:20:26 PM
Hi, let's remember bitconnect!
This scam should be forgotten forever.

This was the most popular cryptocurrency pyramid, in which many lost their money. So, I'm one of them.
I was a fool and I believed that I could make a lot of money. In the end, I lost all my money.
I admire your admission that you became a victim of it and you have been deceived by their scheme which made you think that it will make you rich easy and quick.

I wonder how many such fools like me? Are there people who have earned on this?
Carlos Matos definitely earned with this scam and the developers itself.

I didn't invested on it and thanks to the people who busted them all over the net and gave warning about it.

But too sad to think on how many people got deceived by them, more than thousands.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: how to file an appeal on: June 17, 2018, 07:29:21 PM
probably best bet is to send a private message to a moderator and ask them.
That won't help because the mods are receiving hundreds of messages everyday so do you think you'll get noticed?

my friend's account is not allowed to post or send private messages in this forum.
Your friend has been banned.

I also do not know what violation is done, maybe because of the post that is not recommended, and told to appeal.
You can know the reason of that ban if you're going to post it on the Meta.

but I do not know how to appeal.
You can post your appeal there but I doubt that you can recover your friend's account because it was banned for a reason, either for copy pasting or doing something against the forum law.

which I found out how to redeem by sending some bitcoins to a specific address.
What's with this?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Selecting an ICO on: June 17, 2018, 06:21:12 PM
Is it good to select a campaign or an ICO that is listed already on exchange? I am also looking for a good ICO that I will participate. However, I am looking for a post ICO where they are already listed on exchange because I think it has an assurance that the ICO is already succeed.
Some token developers are having rough time to work on their exchange listing so it's a yes, an assurance for you if you are just going to dump their token soon.

I've seen one on the Bounties that their token is already listed to an exchange but I saw it only with their title and never clicked on that thread.

If I recall it correctly it was managed by julerz12.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I think this is good news to all crypto enthusiast on: June 16, 2018, 08:35:18 AM
Wow so this is one of the result from the G20 summit that was held last March this year.

They want to regulate cryptocurrencies which will divide the believe of some crypto enthusiasts who are into decentralization.

But most of the coiners like it to come, it will add demand and regulations do guarantee that there's a support from the government. It will also destroy the main belief of no coiners that crypto's are scams.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: "We asked people what is the biggest problem in the crypto market" on: June 16, 2018, 08:06:39 AM
Price manipulation isn't the biggest problem in the crypto market. It has been volatile so it's easy for whales to do manipulation.

But admit it or not, we small holders and traders are also riding those manipulations. When the market goes up, we are able to sell and take profit out of it.

One of the biggest problem in the crypto market is the number of shitcoins, they are growing and it should be stopped.
6  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: how to recover password? (blockchain.info) on: June 16, 2018, 07:13:01 AM
@anyone want to recover , please contact me via above contact. Thank all
I would warn anyone who is wanting to recover any of your blockchain.info account.

Don't ever give any of your mnemonic words to any strangers out there who are claiming that they can recover your accounts/passwords/bitcoins. Don't trust someone with your important recovery words.

It's possible that he will be able to gain access to your wallet with your recovery words but he can steal your balance and will return nothing to you so avoid dealing with this type of person.

If the person have the mnemonic phase of the concern wallet you can find the steps to unlock the wallet with the phase in the blockchain wallet's FAQ page itself. Then normally blockchain wallet will not push the phrase and hint to the email or something.

As he is a newbie your advice seems correct even I feel. When you want to access to wallet just click forget password and try to recover with the push email.
This has been posted last September 2017 and I can't say if Op has gained access to his wallet.

I just replied to what that guy above said that he can recover wallets and is offering it here so there's a chance that a newbie can be his victim.

That's why I stepped on and gave a reminder so in that little way, I can warn others who might lead here and read his post.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin back to $500 is likeley on: June 15, 2018, 11:05:19 AM
It looks like bitcoin will have a very strong dip and be back under 1k.  My prediction is telling me it will fall to around the 500 dollar range within a month.
It's your prediction so don't be too skeptic and believed with what's on your mind. Do you have anything to say about it or you have a strong explanation on why it is possible?

The strong dip you are describing is this year's dip so for you it isn't enough to see bitcoin came from it's all time high of $19,000 back to $6,000.

For you that isn't the strongest dip of all time? you want it back to $500? Are you really holding bitcoin or not?
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your experience with free cash bonus ? on: June 15, 2018, 10:35:05 AM
I don't want to try it again. I'm a bit discouraged about it by reading some of the comments before so I was distracted of not trying it again.

And that's not the only reason why I don't want to try it out. If there's something like this as free, I don't value that much and basically I'll bet all of it until I loss it all.

Otherwise, I'll make myself addicted and those losses won't allow me to sleep for a day until I get them back.

I really amazed about the bonus and sign up tokens freely that is really awesome dude.
How much mbtc they have given to their new sign ups?

For those that have good experienced, well I'm starting to become encouraged with your stories but still it is yours and possibly it can happen to me or it can't.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUY a rating on ICObench on: June 15, 2018, 09:50:29 AM
This is why I don't listen to any review so instead of depending to these reviews website, I'm still doing research with my due diligence.

I'm open with reviews and suggestions of others but I'm not totally relying on it. We've seen countless times on how it's easy to buy ratings as an example of it with John McAfee.

He's a well known shill of any project that he wants to give good review as long as they're going to pay him good amount too.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prices always going down, is investor confidence finally breaking? on: June 15, 2018, 09:21:39 AM
Bearish trends have been dominating the market since mid-Jan. Is what we are seeing a sign of investor confidence finally breaking?
Nope. The confidence of the new investors are the ones that are being broken.

But to the experienced investors, we remain confident as the market is starting to establized. If it won't make its reocvery through this month, we've got plenty of months to wait.

No sign that the market is going to recover but as long as it has a good bottom price, there's no problem with it.
This is true because that is what is actually happening in crypto now that the price is falling, new investors are scared therefore selling their coin buy experienced investors are calm because they know the market will recover and price of coin will rise.
They are scared because they haven't experienced what we experienced before and they only want to see what they want to see. And when the market starts to go down all of them are talking about the end of crypto and starts to become skeptic about it.

I've seen numbers of posts that are all about the panic and questions if the market will be able to recover.

If someone out there who's losing their confidence about the market, you're all free to go and start making your own journey in some other markets.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Altcoins dump again? on: June 14, 2018, 10:35:45 AM
All Altcoins dump again. What is the reason?
All altcoins go down when bitcoin is being dumped too. And the reason for it is there are so much bad news in the community and also a recent exchange "Coinrail" was penetrated by hackers.

What happen crypto market in this time?
It's red, I'm sure that you are aware of it. Are you trying to ask if this incident isn't normal?

What we need to do for this?Any suggestions...
Don't drink too much coffee so you won't get nervous.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How gambling can effect the economy of a country [Part 3 - Australia] on: June 14, 2018, 09:54:19 AM
Would it be possible to also add the negative effects of gambling?
This only applies for each and individual gamblers but if there's a positive effect to the economy, there's also the opposite side of it.

We basically know the negative effects of gambling but only for individuals.

I mean I'm sure that there's a healthcare cost for treating gambling addicts?
I haven't heard about that.

Maybe there are other negative aspects that have a certain impact on the economy?
For sure there is.

What's on my mind is it only produces addicted people to gambling, there's also playing on my mind about making officials corrupt once they can't resist gambling.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which do you think is the biggest problem in the crypto market? on: June 14, 2018, 09:25:40 AM
The biggest problem was already said by few members here and it's not on the list. It does make sense all of those 4 things can be a factor and a problem for some.

But the biggest problem that is giving headache not only to the market but also for other investors are those people who are very well not aware of what they are investing.

Those investors that never educated themselves before getting in to crypto and are only thinking about how much and quick they will make money.
16  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: List of Blockchain Conferences? on: June 14, 2018, 08:30:57 AM
Here is one of the websites that I follow the events schedule, probably covered most of the happening event. Hope this may help, Cheers!
 https://bravenewcoin.com/industry-resources/events-calendar/bitcoin-and-blockchain-events/
I have looked and searched for other websites that have the list of upcoming blockchain conferences or any event or summit that's related to cryptocurrencies.

That website has the most on the list until April 2019.

A lot of articles/websites are also listing conferences but I have never see that has a full list the same as the website you gave.

There's another website that has a list for 2019 but it's only one event for February. https://bitcoinmagazine.com/events/
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Activity 154 suddenly stop improving on: June 14, 2018, 07:59:26 AM
Don't mention it.

Yes, activities are updated twice a month for people who already reached their maximum activity.

This what happens, 14 activity is what someone can earn for 2 weeks so whether you post more than 14 for that period, still you'll get additional 14 activity and 28 activity for 1 month.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Activity 154 suddenly stop improving on: June 13, 2018, 09:13:20 PM
Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?)

You can see every details about ranking up on the link I gave above.

Those are the dates when will the next activity update will happen.
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy This Dip or Wait ? on: June 13, 2018, 08:55:05 PM
So what do you think guys, buy this dip or wait for more blood?
I don't want to say that magical word that are being discussed not only here in the forum but also in social media, which is "buy the dip".

You have your own judgment on what's the "dip" but with my own judgment, this is can be the last dip that we can see for this month or it can be another ice breaker and just the continuity of the past dip.

I won't wait for more bloody days to come as everyone has been waiting for the rise of the crypto's but it seems there's something that is forcing it to be pulled by a sort of gravity from manipulators.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This dip is great! on: June 13, 2018, 08:23:21 PM
What's every one else buying? suggest your best buys.
Don't forget to catch up the cheaper bitcoin today, it's down again at $6,200 so close to $6,000 which has been the bottom for this year.

This is the best buy that I can suggest to everyone and others are pushing their altcoins but you are not looking on what's the big fish that is on a very good sale at this dip.

It is so sad that people started to believe this is time to sell.
Let them sell at this moment but to those that will endure this market will be the happiest once the crypto market cap starts to increase again. I've heard rumors that it will reach $1-T for this year.
