paper money will still circulated since bitcoin is still on its initial firing and it might as well take a lot of bunch of years before we will reach 30% globally in the total population scale for bitcoin users?
502  Economy / Reputation / Re: Newbie trust on: May 11, 2016, 11:27:26 AM
As we so nod like newbie don't have any trust rating at the start
But so so get negitive ratings early into the tar on here
Shy is that and do his can a newbie grow hid trust so  ore members will trust him

Hope someone can answer this for me

Thanks in advance

Undecided what?! Could you try and ask that again and maybe we can help a little more with your question? If you're asking how to be trusted then all you need to do is be honest and helpful in the community.

we started on a flat rating.   but as time passes by with how we manage our reputation here, individuals will come to know us by that.  the more we do communicate or have a dialogue is the more we expose our true identity hence by if being always neutral will keep us on the flat rating?  usually trust is how we present ourselves in the community.  always be relaxed when on the keyboard because this what we are all about.  being cool. 504  Other / Off-topic / Re: Honesty is the best policy ??? on: May 11, 2016, 10:35:13 AM
Do you think that honesty is a best policy in every field?

No. If you want to survive, you need a big amount of honesty, a small number of lies and the ability to find out the amount of honesty is needed for certain situation.

That's great... though in fact lying is saying something you know is wrong. In most scenarious you can speak around lying. Well, in case you are the business man with others depending on you that would not be advisable. Honesty is key there to keep your trust.

honesty could be the best tool or guideline to set a better relationship in a business that would, lets say last longer than the usual?  anyway its still the best but sometimes a little lie would bind a huge amount of honesty... hehe just kidding

506  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you think that MONEY is imprortant thing for life? on: May 11, 2016, 07:22:39 AM
basically it could be important but not so very important.  we only need money for what it can really give us that would satisfy our needs materially or any.  what is important in our life is how we live our life how we handle everything in our life in favor of what we desire most that will benefit us in particular.  the point is that what is important is what will be it when our life ends. what have we contributed to humanity?  were we useful?  Grin
507  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MOST COMMON MISTAKES OF A NEWBIE on: May 11, 2016, 07:07:51 AM
A common mistake is using faucets and thinking you will actually get rich from them which is highly unlikely.

People like that is free as there is no investment needed in faucets, but the fact is as they are new they are not aware how to start off in productive way.

yup i was on it previously and for  a couple of months been playing games and viewing those commercials still got les than 50 cents in my wallet.  anyway that was fun for a start.

Let's see the LakeBTC's graceful charts, during this period when drop $2 per rise $1  Angry

How do you keep the profit? If cant, how do you stop loss? please share your strategy with me, thanks!

other than buying at a low price and selling at its highest peak you have to make sure that when you buy btc its from a trusted and legit trader otherwise whose gonna release first?  if its a trusted trader you can pay the amount and the trader will send your btc.  one way of it is opposite you send the payment or the btc and after confirmation its only when they send the payment or btc.  in this business you have to know the trusted ones and the legitimate traders from the scammers.  Grin Cheesy Wink Smiley
509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: May 11, 2016, 04:01:03 AM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my BTC Sad

Why is it so addictive?
It is just the tendency that you can double your profits. If you need help to stop gambling, I would suggest you keep a diary entry of your wins and losses and compare your loss with the amount you could have earned without gambling. This helped me to stop although I still sometimes play dice. Hope this helps.
Gambling is addicting because there are still a lot of people that likes to gamble and they think that they can be rich with Bitcoin but that is actually not true.
If you are gambling you have to control yourself otherwise you are going to lose a lot of money with it and that is bad.

in gambling when you bet its win or loose, for luck its good luck and bad luck, for perspective look at the darker side or the brighter side Smiley . in aiming just close your eyes coz you wont hit a bulls eye, gambling is not addictive when your enjoying it winning or loosing.  don't go nuts Smiley

humans really want to try the hard way thinking its easy or one way of the other.  we like hurdling on obstacles but sometimes we love to play a game while the game itself does not fit for us.  so its not about addictive all the time.  its about your attitude towards the game.   Grin Cheesy Wink Smiley
511  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do traders make money while trading bitcoin in localbitcoin.com ? on: May 11, 2016, 02:42:49 AM
I am new to bitcoin and loving it. I have an account with localbitcoin and i see, there are so many people buying and selling btc. I am wondering, how do they make money while trading using localbitcoin ? And can it be a good business ?  Huh

you can earn in trading at localbitcoins as long as you have patience in waiting for the right timing in selling your btc.  same as in buying btc you have to be good in handling your transactions.  be up to date always or updated to the fastest time ever.  most of the customers want their transaction/s done right away.  just manage things nicely and it will be really wonderful to be in the bitcoin business..  Grin Cheesy Wink Smiley

I'm from New york city but out of the country now.  I know localbitcoins is for selling bitcoin.  I like to know does anyone know legit buyers of bitcoin in new york city?  And if so, what is most common form of payment?  I see many people in localbitcoins accept cash.  But do most of these sellers meet up at coffeeshop for the transaction?  Or most meet up at bank where they deposit the cash in the bank for you.  The issue with accepting cash at coffeeshop is you have to make sure the cash is real and not counterfeit.  So you would basically have a pen to mark every single bill just to make sure its real?  Then again im not sure u want to do this in public where ppl can see it.

Also when people do this, generally how much cash is it?  I mean if its like 200 or 500 or 1000, okay that isn't big deal.  But if you want to sell btc for like 5k or 10k or 15k cash, are you really meeting in a coffeeshop?
I would assume most just meet up at bank?  The other thing is this.  Assuming you meet up at a bank, generally do they just give you the cash, then you go and deposit it into bank account, then you get receipt, then you release the coins?  Or do they deposit the case, then give you the receipt right there on the spot etc.  But that could be easily a scam since they could give you another receipt.  So i figure they give you cash in envelope at the bank, you deposit it... then get receipt... then you go and release your coins... correct?  And just want to make sure since i haven't deposited cash in bank in a long time.  But if any bills are counterfeit, the bank would know immediately right the moment you deposit the cash or the other guy deposit the cash so there isn't any issue later on after you release the coins?  Also i have deposited cash before in an atm.  But would this be the same thing.  Like if someone wanted to buy 1000 dollars worth of bitcoin... they give u cash... u deposit atm... atm accepts.. give you receipt... then you are good to go with releasing your coins?

Also i assume most ppl meet up in coffeeshop as oppose to bank and want cash due to not wanting to pay taxes/IRS right?  So basically its a foolish way because unless cash is deposited into bank... theres always a chance to get scammed?  I heard certain bills could look very legit but it isn't as well because they are good fakes.

if its in small amounts you can trade with trusted or legit traders.  but if its in big amounts you've got to be extra careful in dealing with it.  it is better if you've got a legit company trading for bitcoins.  try visiting one first and if your satisfied with the assurance they gave you then you can have a better trading partner with trust binding your reputation and investments.

What are the best investment opetions for bitcoins to be put into?
Please post here!

you can go for remittance like business where sending and receiving the amount using bitcoin and paying it out thru cash currency.  so the pay out will be your job to complete the process and you must have a good reputation to start with it.  or you can start within your circle of friends families and relatives.   Shocked Cheesy Wink

as i am a newbie.. i know nothing about trading... what should i do to start trading and multiply my btc.. guys please help me

Starting small is a nice move.  Buy low sell high so you can have good profitable income generating business.  It is easy to monitor the growth or development of your business. Just keep it rolling to to grow.  For your transaction partners you have to know traders around your area. Smiley

516  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: May 10, 2016, 03:41:48 AM
I am looking to help move BTC forward into our economy more and would like to get some suggestions on how we can get more retailers to accept BTC as a payment.  The best part about accepting BTC is that they do not have any threat of charge-back from the customer.  I am just looking for some more input before I start approaching some of these local retailers.

if youve got friends relatives with different trades of businesses you can set a meeting even start with a small group and defining bitcoin and its uses. and make sure you have the right tools in presenting it like examples of a wallet how it is being traded and so on.  if its difficult for them to pick things up just give them a simple idea about your topic and later keep in touch to make some follow ups or up dates to complete the information campaign your presenting.  Wink Smiley
517  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to buy a lot of bitcoins? on: May 10, 2016, 03:01:57 AM
I have btc but never had to buy bitcoins.  I get bitcoins because i play poker at certain sites that allow you to cashout in bitcoin.  Thus if i deposit another method, they allow me to withdraw bitcoin.

But if i wanted to buy a lot of bitcoin... say at least 20 bitcoin... what would be the best method?  Coinbase and circle the limits are very small right where you have to wait at least 1 month?  Even if so, you could only buy 3k max worth of bitcoin?  I also wouldn't want to pay a premium for bitcoin and want to buy bitcoin at the current price.

there are individual traders or companies that has a good reputation in trading bitcoins.  try to find one in your locality or region and have a meet up transaction in doing the trade if its a bulk.  you can also trade in an institution where cash transactions are processed like banks. if it takes time to complete a bulk transaction try breaking it down and according to how many recipients will there be.   Grin

What about those that want $10000+ worth of bitcoin and more and don't want to pay premium fees?
518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: May 10, 2016, 02:29:13 AM
i found my self broke because gambling
i found my life in a mess because gambling

but because gambling too suddenly rich, suddenly be a billionaire
because gambling too you know what it is the real have fun

how about you?

is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life?

gambling is really not a bad or a good idea when you plan to recreate yourself.  it is the fastest way to raise and drop your emotions in a short period of time but the effects of realization will be a little bit longer.  thinking of decisions that you should have made along the way while still playing the game.  most gamblers have strategies on how to the play the game.  that's why they enjoyed playing it.  so you just have to be in control while playing by always keeping a safe line in betting.   Roll Eyes Shocked Wink
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this what we called "addictive to gamble"? on: May 10, 2016, 02:12:40 AM
we know that most of the times we lost on gambling, but instead of stopping we keep on playing for the next day

after we lost, we got frustrated but we still back to play, is this called "gamble addiction"?

gambling needs skills and quick analysis on the game set. addictive gambling is like a lifestyle it is the love of the game the excitement, the thrill, it is not about winning and loosing.  it's just you cant stop betting on anything that has a possibility of winning and loosing.  it is when you loose you always have a next time for winning still you always think of winning even though your loosing. Why is it so addictive?

it could be for the fun or for the double.
for the fun winning or loosing is fun just enjoying the game.
for the double, winning makes you crave for more and loosing makes you wanna take back what you loose. Shocked
