Wouldn't that data be encrypted? And wouldn't it be stored redundantly?
Yes and Yes. All data is encrypted without any way around it. The host cannot get into the files and see what they are. Redundancy is also a mandatory, once you upload data its stored 30 times over to ensure your files aren't lost. https://forum.sia.tech/topic/108/how-sia-worksEDIT: With that being said, I still wouldn't use SIA for storage just yet. There are a lot of things missing from a user perspective and even after these things are added, SIA's real vision is not for regular users like us. They want 3rd parties to use SIA's API and handle all the customers for them.

it's been 6 months. refund us. You are the only person that will ever make a dime off this group buy. There is no reason to even receive the miners at this point. Refund me, take yourself a little cut. I don't care. This is pointless now.

The same +85/4 so, about 21.25 more each ... You'll find all details in OP and in previous posts... We know that machines wouldn't work only with air! I'll be glad if anyone would read at least the OP! Thanks & Cheers! -akw- I read through the original OP before posting, and read through it again after your comment. You have butchered the OP and removed some of the original information. You also have removed tabs from the google document. Within the OP I do not see anything about how many shares were originally sold per machine. All I see is 90 (45+45) "bonus" shares and the "new" shares.

USD As much as you want to doubt it, the world still runs on FIAT. And it will probably continue to run on FIAT for a looooong time.

First there was the "bonus" shares, now there are "new" shares. How many shares are there per machine now?

bitwizz, just noticed that my username is typoed in the buyer list: hesterking -> jesterking Is bitwizz actually keeping up with the buyer list? I see multiple people including myself put orders in but that list on the first post hasn't changed at all.

It's possible that he's mining the BTC to pay the refunds and plans on giving us all of his profits.
that's the only thing I can think of right now. I don't care how complicated it is to refund a bunch of people, it shouldn't take over a month.

and without knowing which servers the account has previously played on, there really isn't anything to go off of right? I cant think of 1 benefit from buying someone else's account unless it was almost free.

How has nobody left bad feedback on his trust rating here yet? Every single person that feels cheated needs to add negative feedback with notes stating they will remove it once everything has been handled accordingly. This is literally the only real option any of you have right now to penalize steamboat for not processing refunds and/or hosted miner payouts.

if I remember correctly, buying minecraft and having your own account is less than $30 or less than 0.03BTC. How much of a discount are you looking for?

Just a FYI for people having issues with fan control - I have been mining without the fans connected to the fan header, just connected to power, for a couple months with no issues. I only have 2 miners and heat hasn't been a problem at all. So I would suggest not using the fan header if it isn't absolutely necessary as it seems to be a pain in the butt to get to work properly.
