1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Have I been ripped off by the localbitcoins.com system? on: July 23, 2013, 12:22:27 AM
Contact their support staff and see what the issue is?

Many on these forums use LocalBitcoins without any problems as one of the easiest ways to do person to person cash for bitcoin swaps.

If you guys want your bitcoin converted to cash in your US bank accounts you should read this thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=237164.0

Why not just make a bitcoin withdrawal, then load the bitcoin for sale at Bitcoin-Brokers for free, who will then broker the sale of your bitcoins...get you higher rates than MtGox rates, and pay you cash immediately into your US bank account?

No wire transfer fees, no waiting, get paid more than MtGox.

Are you fully licensed to transmit money in all 50 states?  If you are not, you are putting your funds and your customer's funds at risk of seizure.
Everybody loves these phrases recently, eh?  @notme, perhaps you should do some more reading re: FinCen before you try to toss BitcoinBrokers under the proverbial bus? Just my 2c, cheers

@Viceroy stop your chirping and stop spamming your MP sales in every thread possible, you're becoming a broken record.  believe it or not, not everybody wants your MPs or insists that any USPS employee that 'senses' cash is in an envelope immediately runs away with it on vacation... just chill out and sling your MPs in the appropriate threads.  and try to keep the preaching to a minimum.  have a great day!

11  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: So seriously is anyone buying?... BTC for cash (that isn't a scammer) on: May 12, 2013, 11:55:42 PM
the polish cards are 3 dollars for an ATM withdrawal, free to load. I don't know what more you could ask for when going btc to cash.
Yes but usually <$200 max withdrawals so that $3 is almost 2% each time, plus the ATM's own fees... adds up

Personally, I think 5% is reasonable for cold hard cash in the mail.  Obviously trust is a big part of any trade, but nobody is going to do you a favor and provide cash in the mail at 1:1, afaik  Roll Eyes
