1  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will the price of Bitcoin break below the $6,000 support level? on: September 27, 2018, 12:49:57 AM
Probably next month it will drop under 6000 but hard to say. I hope it never gets that low again.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why other ban cryptocurrencies on: September 27, 2018, 12:42:20 AM
It's fear of something that they can't control.  Something that they can't collect taxes on.
3  Economy / Auctions / Binance account for sale on: January 09, 2018, 06:49:14 PM
Anyone interested in buying my Binance account?

I currently have about $4500 worth of coins on that exchange and I would be willing to sell that account with those coins for 1 Bitcoin.

The account is unverified so it’s not tied to a name. I would need to change the email and turn off 2-factor authentication.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EVERY SINGLE COIN is down!! on: November 30, 2017, 04:49:37 PM
Every single coin is going down in the list. I have never seen like this where every single coins go down.  I have seen where most of them were down but at least 10 or 20 coins were up.

But this is the first time where every single coin is going down.  Did it ever happen before?

A few days ago, most of the coins near the top were all up. We’re seeing a selloff because people are locking in the gains they made in this massive increase in all those altcoins and bitcoin. It is just a temporary drop before they all buy back in. But I bet some of the newbies are going to get chased off by this drop.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Signature campaign as my job? on: July 24, 2017, 09:41:16 PM
Hey, I am 15 year old and wondering if i can have signature campaign as job, imo yes, because i completed 2 signature campaigns (mobilego and zrcoin) and i got 808 mobilegocoins which is worth about 800 euros, and 54 zrcoins which was worth about 50 euro. What do you think?

Sorry if my english is bad, It is not my language. Sometimes I might mean things other than I wrote

Edit 1: I mean this as a job till I am older and have a full time job, if I have a fulltime job, I will keep this as a side job (if it is still possible)

Signature campaigns are good but I don't think you can earn enough to call it a job. I just use one to add a little extra bitcoins to my holdings to boost what I have a little, but it just amounts to a few dollars a week. You may want to consider getting into trading to earn a little more.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: John McAfee: Bitcoin will go above 500k $ in 3 years on: July 19, 2017, 02:45:19 PM

$500,000 in just 3 years seems unrealistic. If he's right, I'm going to be rich along with a bunch of other people. I doubt the price gets above $10,000 in 3 years, but I could be wrong.
7  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: July 19, 2017, 02:39:13 PM
Which one suits you the most?

I only use blockchain.info wallets and offline wallets. I think these are the safest and most secure. I just try to secure the private keys because otherwise, there's no way to access the coins.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy now... or on July 31st? on: July 18, 2017, 06:03:30 PM
It looks like the biggest uncertainties will be resolved this Friday, July 21st. With far above 80% support for SegWit2x, August 1st should not matter anymore (as BIP 148 will not trigger).

That would mean between now and Thursday should be the best time to buy.

On the other hand, August 1st is passed around everywhere as the "day of doom." Many uninformed people out there. So maybe wait till July 31st to buy? And will there be any risks left after Segwit is activated later this week?

The key question is: How much FUD will be left in the market after Friday...?

The problem for many of us is that we use exchanges to buy or sell but the advice we are getting is to move money off exchanges before Aug 1. If we buy in the day before, we are cutting it close on moving bitcoins off the exchange. What if I buy bitcoins on July 31 and then the exchange has a technical problem and I can't move the coins before the 1st?
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I do? on: July 18, 2017, 05:57:49 PM
Ok so here's the thing

I have a few bitcoins on btce.com and a few on a [Suspicious link removed] wallet and I've noticed the price dropped really fast the last week.
Me being a newbie and didn't quite know what was going on read something about segwit and hardfork
I learned that it would be wise not to leave the bitcoins on btce but store them somewhere else.
Is blockchain a good wallet to store the coins in during the hardfork? Or should I get another wallet?
When the coin splits I obviously want to end up with both the old an the new coin of course.

Or does someone maybe have a better idea what I should do with them?

It's not a whole lot in total, it's about 0.15 BTC or so

The best solution may be to transfer those coins to a wallet you control like an offline wallet. It should be a wallet where you have the private keys. Generally be careful with exchanges that hold your coins but especially when there is a fork. I don't know if there would be a problem but you should be aware that most experts are saying to be careful.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: July 17, 2017, 10:43:45 PM
I feel returning to gamble again is surely common for all the gamblers, there are many still out there who haven't gambled till now for various reasons and they aren't wrong at all. Gambling is like a drug itself it is really easy to get addicted but hard to leave and because of it's drug feature this is surely the reason for users return to gamble again and again

This is all true but I find that if I set a limit on how much money I'm allowed to gamble with each week, I can limit my losses and still enjoy the games. I gamble just for entertainment and it's much more fun when there's something at stake.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHEN will BTC rise again and WHY? on: July 17, 2017, 04:25:37 PM
Ive been watching the markets sence bitcoin was 150$/BTC, i have been promoting bitcoin and the use of it for a long time, but why should BTC ever rise again? There have been a peak thru overbuying and now somebody has to pay = coin value drop.

Hard fork, soft fork doesnt matter the value wont rise above 2k$ again?
It wasnt meant to?

I have not sold my Coins but i dont believe in 4-10-100 000$ /BTC

I do think the price will eventually rise again. I think the price went up too high too fast and needs to consolidate. This combined with the threat of a fork naturally is bringing the price down. Sometime next year the price should recover to reach new highs.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Invested when BTC was at 2550 and 2320. What to do now? on: July 16, 2017, 08:39:46 PM
Hello,
I bought into BTC when it was worth both 2550 and 2320 for my personal trading.  I now have 0.2007 BTC and not sure when I should get out.  I have lost in total a hundred dollars just to the price of BTC.  Is it worth it to get out now or should I wait for it to go back up to these prices?

You might as well wait at this point because the price will eventually recover. If you sell now you will be selling for a loss so just go for the long term investment. It's best to not watch the price right now in your situation.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Possibility of lost coins after August split. on: July 16, 2017, 06:55:50 PM
If bitcoin is splitted after August, and someone send the btc to some other btc address during this period, will those in trasit btc lost for ever?

It's too risky to make any transactions or move any bitcoins the day before or after the fork. You could lose them in the process. One of the coins will most likely become worthless and the other will recover but we don't know which will survive.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will up. dont worrry on: July 15, 2017, 09:54:58 PM
Bitcoin will eventually rise to highs but it may be later this year or next year. I would not be surprised if the price continues to drop until after Aug 1 when we find out about the fork. It could be a good time to buy if the price keeps dropping.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Outcome of Horn vs. Pacquiao on: July 14, 2017, 08:23:39 PM
Did Horn really won this fight? or Pacquiao just got robbed again? Do Horn really deserve the hate, he's getting right now? or Is it the time for the People's Champ to retire?

To all those who bet on this match, any thoughts on how the fight ends? I myself can't believe the results of this match even though I bet for Horn, I should be happy but no.

That fight probably cost a lot of people money because Horn was such an underdog. It makes you wonder about the Floyd Mayweather Vs. Connor McGregor fight. If we bet on Mayweather who is the skilled boxer, it's possible Connor will surprise everyone.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: just few well know investors and then boom! on: July 14, 2017, 12:46:28 AM
I strongly believe that if some well known investors come in and buy billion dollars worth of bitcoin it could be world breaking news and the price of bitcoin would soar high to $10000, just my opinion.

I would prefer that a lot of smaller investors buy in to bitcoin. There are potential issues with a few people owning most of the bitcoins. They can manipulate the price on exchanges and could gain control with over 50% of the coins. I think it would be better all around if millions of smaller investors gradually started to invest.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Bitcoin ..... sign during Yellen's testimony to Congress on: July 13, 2017, 12:33:17 AM
haha.. next rich man

This was an awesome prank because it both advertises bitcoin to the world while also potentially making the guy wealthy. I wish I had an opportunity like this. He made the most of the opportunity and deserves any money he gets. Hopefully he won't get into trouble.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Turning 50$ to 500$ within 1 month? on: July 12, 2017, 02:04:23 PM
Is it possible to turn 50$ into 500$ with just 1 month by trading cryptocurrency? I would love to know and would love to have some good advise regarding this cause I am willing to do trades and I have never done any trades in cryptocurrency before any advise and suggestion would be awesome. I would also like to know about brokers.

That's going to be hard to do but I won't say it's impossible. There would need to be some significant fluctuation in price of a coin in that month and you would need to time your trades well. Even then, making 10 times your original investment is a huge profit and would be very hard to do.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto currency will be more expensive than bitcoin? on: July 11, 2017, 10:26:54 PM
I'm waiting for interesting discussions from you

It's possible that none will ever be more valuable but there are a few that are starting to be worth more than $200. Both Etherium and Zcash have been above $200. Dash has either been above $200 or close to it. Those three right now appear to have the best chance to overtake bitcoin.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: July 11, 2017, 06:35:51 PM
Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ??
It's the first question one should face while starting to deal in bitcoins and answer this will satisfies you to choose bitcoin over others. Some of the benefits that Bitcoin have over other includes :

1-Quick transactions – Bitcoin is transferred quickly over the Internet.
2-No expenses/low charges – Unlike credit cards, Bitcoin can be utilized for nothing or low costs.. This enhances revenues margins deals.
3-International installments – Bitcoin is used all over the globe; e-commerce sellers and service suppliers can easily agree to take international payments. Which uncovered new potential commercial centers for them.
4-Information is secure – As we have seen with late hacks on general retailers’ disbursement processing systems, the Internet is not generally a secure place for private information. With Bitcoin, clients don’t surrender private data.
5-Much More Easier – Bitcoin is Much more easier rather than we think.Means to say It’s Much more easier than transfering a Payment from bank account From bitcoin you can even transfer a Payment in few clicks even While listening songs.
-Hope this will help you in believing Bitcoins !

It's also beneficial that we can store bitcoins without relying on any government or bank. It is completely independent so it gives us more freedom with our money.

Another benefit is that it is deflationary so it should gain value over time relative to US dollars or any other fiat currency.
