your accounts might get limited/suspended

At least with the big books like unibet, bwin and toto I would not worry about this since they are closely watched by governments (whereas Toto is even owned by the Dutch government) and suspending accounts for betting on weird odds is not something covered in the terms of usage (and if they would add that in their terms one could question them why they offer these odds then).
This is indeed an issue on smaller gambling sites though.

Agreed! The best way to "fly under the radar" is to round your bets to the nearest whole dollar amount.

e.g. when wanting to bet $33.42, you should wager $33 instead. Or even better, (if the percentage gain allows it) round to the nearest $5 mark. This bet would then become $35.

This looks a whole lot less suspicious.

the bookies for this arb accept what's called an Asian Handicap.

Thanks, I did not know about this and thought I found an obvious flaw in your strategy Cheesy
Instead I learnt something new.

No problem! Glad I could clear that up! Smiley

Ghanna (u20), BetClick: 12.0
Asian Handicap

1. Neither of these two sites were named in the initial post.
2. You do not account for draws in sports where this is possible.

Yes I just realized that I didn't name all of the bookies by mistake, however the bookies for this arb accept what's called an Asian Handicap.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asian_handicap

I will be updating the original post.

Hello! I have purchased the software "100 percent winners". It is working great giving me what's called sports Arbitrage bets.

Basically, you bet on both sides to win. No matter the outcome you profit!

Scenario:

Bookie #1, Team #1 odds: 2.32
Bookie #2, Team #2 odds: 3.47

Profit if invested $100 total: $39.04

This software searches through many different bookies in real time, to find these Arbitrage bets.

As of right now, (4:01 AM PST, 6/23/2013) there is an arb with these odds:  Team 1, bookie 1: 5.25 Team 2 bookie 2: 5.25. This arb would give a 212.25% Profit!!!
http://www.freeimagehosting.net/newuploads/fch1f.png

Here's my plan:

I will be posting the best Arbitrage bets that the software gives me for a few days. I hope some of you can profit off of these "arbs". The thing is though, you have to be fast. Some disappear within a few minutes, as bookies are constantly changing their odds!

After a few days of posting these arbs, I will open up a Google Groups Mailing list. Anyone can request to join this group, but only members will be able to see the posts. Only I will be able to post, so you can set up notifications alerting you of new posts.

These posts, by me, will be the same as the posts in this thread; notifications of new arbs.

How do I get into the group??

After requesting to join the group you will be emailed a unique Bitcoin Address. Then simply send .05 BTC to that address, and shortly after, you will be accepted into the group.

What should I do to maximize my chances of snagging these arbs?

Make an account with each of the following bookies:

1. BetFair
2. BetCity
3. PinnacleSports
4. Marathon Bet
5. Leonbets
6. Parimatch
7. Betus
8. Bwin
9. Intertops
10. Sportsbook
11. Sportsbetting
12. Bodog
13. 5dimes
14. 12bet
15. Jetbull
16. SportsBet
17. Unibet
18. 10 Bet
19. Canbet
20. Expekt
21. BetAtHome
22. NordicBet
23. WBX
24. BetFair
25. SkyBet
26. Betoto
27. 188Bet
28. SBOBET
29. Betsson

(More will be added to this list as more bookies are added in the software)

Fund each one. This makes it a ton faster when placing these bets. If you do not already have money in the accounts, you will most likely miss the arb.

How often will you post these arbs?

As often as I can, as fast as I can.

Once I pay the .05 BTC, will I get these arbs forever?

Unfortunately, no. 100 percent winners software charges me a monthly fee, so I cannot charge a one-time fee, and expect to remain in the black. About 1 month after joining, you will be removed from the google group, and then emailed a new bitcoin address. You must pay a re-entrance fee of .03 BTC to be let back in.

Do I have to pay the re-entrance fee?

Not if you don't want to!

You say, you will be posting these arbs as fast as you can. Can't you automate the process?

Yes I can automate the process. Once people start joining the group, I will set up a macro to take a screenshot of the software regularly, and post the screenshot in the group.
I will put it to a vote, how often this is done.

Should I make a new email account for this purpose?

I think it would be wise. Especially once the automation happens. If you have notifications set up for the google group, depending on how often the posts are made, you could get hundreds of emails a day.

DISCLAIMER:

Keep in mind, that this is not ABSOLUTELY 100% fool proof. There is a very small chance that the bookies change odds after you've made your first bet, but haven't made your second.
ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS check the odds of BOTH bookies to verify the arb is still available. If it is, fire away!! If not, then of course there is no guarantee of profit.

Also please note: Online Sports betting is Illegal in the United States, and some other countries. If you are in a country that has banned online Sports Betting, please, please, please refrain from doing so. Dealing with Fiat Currency is of course very different than Bitcoin. You could get in huge trouble if caught.

291  Economy / Games and rounds / How long does a bet with bitcoinsports.eu take to payout? on: June 18, 2013, 09:56:15 PM
Hello, I placed a bet on bitcoinsports.eu viewable here:

http://www.bitcoinsports.eu/bet/bc168

on the Iraq vs Australia game.

As of this writing, the game has been over for roughly 10 hours. As this was my first bet with btcoinsports.eu, I don't know what to expect in terms of a time frame.

This is not an accusation, just a request for info; how long do these bets take to payout?

Ouch, they look ugly ;/ I expectee something better, really, than this little green blob.

I'm sorry, but maybe you could describe what you were expecting. These are supposed to be used, not hung up on a wall and displayed as art.

Instead of just saying they look ugly, about some constructive criticism? What could help them be better?

I have had a quick try, and now understand that it can be hard just working in two colours!
The following is how I vision it. I do have nearly no graphic skills though!

Just trying to give you alternatives

As I was thinking about it, I realized that they are very bland. I will be coming up with a new design that has a bit more beauty.

294  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: FLASH MOB for awareness? on: June 17, 2013, 03:53:25 AM
Things like this embarrass the rest of us. What do you think will get someone interested in superman comics more, seeing someone they know reading it, or having a bunch of nerds wearing superman shirts "flash mobbing"?

If you want bitcoin to succeed, use it as a normal tool and provide something unique that can only be purchased through bitcoin (like drugs or blowjobs from you). The reason people started using Paypal was because a site they already enjoyed using required it for payments, not because a bunch of clowns dressed up in Paypal shirts (in fact, if that ever happened, people would think Paypal was crazy and never sign up).

I believe the OP stated that this wold be to raise awareness. The dumber people act the more people pay attention to them. This is proved by countless youtube videos every day.

(BTW I'm not saying this idea is dumb. I think it would be a great way to raise awareness.)
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin decimal issue on: June 17, 2013, 03:49:39 AM
Once upon a time there was a village where one rich man who had ten breads while the rest of the village was poor and starved. The rich man said to the poor people: "listen, I will share one bread with the rest of you, that should keep you satisfied" the villagers responded: "one bread wont feed us all" The rich man said "Oh, that is no problem, the bread can be cut into 20 slices". But The villagers responded "that is not enough, we are thousands of starving people" The rich man then said "that is still not a problem, because each slice of bread can be divided into hundreds of crumbles - and if that is not enough for you, each crumble can actually be divided into billions of molecules"

Stupid story? Well it is exactly the same logic that a disturbingly lot of people here believe can solve the problem of the limited supply of bitcoins.

..... I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this post.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gambling apps allowed? on: June 17, 2013, 03:40:52 AM
Moderately sure they systematically deny anything that allows users to move coins in or out. tl;dr they don't allow 3rd party payment systems.

I installed the blockchain app from the app store.

and technically, you can gamble with it, provided you are sending your coins to a service such as satoshi dice.
297  Economy / Goods / SilverGoldAndBitcoin's Laser Etched Aluminum Cards! IRL Transactions a Breeze! on: June 17, 2013, 03:21:59 AM
Hello everyone! Imagine if you will... You are at the market, selling your wares. You of course accept the local fiat currency, but you'd much rather receive payment in Bitcoin. So you have a little "Bitcoin Accepted Here" sign on display, and would you believe it, someone notices and wants to pay in Bitcoin! Excellent!

Now, all you have to do (since you didn't print out a qr code of your Bitcoin address for the impatient customer to scan) is one of two things:

1. Politely ask for the customers email so you can email him/her your Bitcoin address.
    a. Promise that you wont send the customer spam or anything like that.
    b. Apologize for needing any personal info at all.

-OR-

2. Politely ask to use the customers device, and input your Bitcoin Address yourself... character by god forsaken character.
    a. Promise that you wont run off with your customers device.
    b. Apologize for not having a more streamlined way of transferring the most advanced currency in the world.
    c. Sweat about the possibility of losing the customer due to the fact that this was not an easy process at all.

Now imagine a very similar scenario... You are at the market, selling your wares... Someone wants to pay in Bitcoin!

So you and your business savvy self whip out one of SilverGoldAndBitcoin's Laser Engraved Business Cards, complete with QR code linked to your Bitcoin Address! The customer is impressed, and with a tap on his phone, the address is automatically input to his Bitcoin Wallet. And just like that, before you could bat an eye, the Bitcoin shows up in your wallet! You thank the customer for his business. He replies with a "No, thank YOU for the easy-peasy-lemon-squeasy shopping experience!"

What can we learn from these scenarios? SilverGoldAndBitcoin's Laser Engraved Anodized Aluminum Business Cards are a must for in person Bitcoin transactions!

298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tatsuaki Okamoto = Satoshi Nakamoto? on: June 16, 2013, 09:54:57 AM
No matter who Satoshi is, uncovering his identity is likely a bad thing for Bitcoin, which is sad not for Bitcoin as an investment, but Bitcoin as a transformative technology.

That being said, there will always be someone who simply must know and I'm grateful for that impulse in general. Curiosity is a great human drive; it's one of those things that makes life worth living. In the case of Bitcoin, however, there are few answers that would not in some way subject the currency to the credibility of a single man. I can't help but hope Satoshi Nakamoto, whoever he is, covered his trace well enough to never be discovered.

I hope to god he covered his tracks as well.

But if he ever is discovered, what do you think  would happen to faith in Bitcoin?
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The snowball effect of bitcoin-only sale on: June 16, 2013, 09:49:07 AM
  • Their suppliers and employees want to be paid in FIAT. Since all of their suppliers want to be paid in FIAT.
  • The market cap of Bitcoin is now high enough that one high-end product line won't move the price much.
  • If successful, they will run into Bicoin scaling issues.

What he said.

Somewhere down the line, fiat is required.

Unless the business can convince their direct supplier to accept BTC, it will be darn near impossible to produce a product funded solely with BTC.
300  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Tarnished image on: June 16, 2013, 09:43:44 AM
The way I see it paranoia will be the destruction of Bitcoins. Everyone has NO TRUST in ANYONE.

If that were the case, all trade via bitcoin would cease. There has to be some level of trust for any trade at all.
