1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be over ambitious on: April 19, 2021, 11:29:04 PM
The crypto currency space is a very volatile place where anything can happen in a short time frame. No one either experts or not can call the top and bottom in crypto currrency market; we should always remember that our business in crypto currency market, trading is to take profit.

More importantly; don't be over ambitious to help someone to buy tokens, never do it. Instead educate and teach them how to do it, and the risks involved.
Helping others is just the same as educating them and guide them to a better understanding of crypto. I don't think that was an ambitious way? Because we never force to help newcomers, it is our willingness to do it, in fact, I help my friend without any single penny in return, it is coming from my heart and I am so happy about his success.

I hope you look at that the same. Because what you do is just greediness in a matter that you will always think about making a profit. And maybe helping isn't your passion.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Iíve been robbed by Binance ! Never again will I use them on: April 19, 2021, 11:10:27 PM
Binance is no bueno so i will be trading elsewhere now. What is the best place to buy DOGE thatís not coinbase?
You should have to include in your post what is your problem with Binance so everyone could make a conclusion about who has been right or wrong. We can draw any conclusion but just only presumptions about your wrongdoing probably as many traders have no problem with Binance and it is just only you who come out and pointing out that this exchange rob you.

It is an unclear situation, so it is much better to give us some view of how it happens to you and to make everyone also aware of it.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experiment - Doubling small stake for big gains on: April 17, 2021, 08:28:05 PM
I've seen this kind of experiment before,  and I personally tried it my own, betting on small odds through parlay and even using some martingale method on it but it doesn't work in the long run. Anyway, your outcome might be different, so I like to wish you luck and success on this experiment of yours so you can go with the big money.  Smiley
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Sport to bet on ? on: April 17, 2021, 08:12:12 PM
I love sports particularly NBA where there's amazing thinghs happening, lol.

Right now that we are in pandemic, we are given more chance to gamble as some of us are just staying at home or working at home, and personally that made me enjoy this opportunity to bet on actions that I can see in a daily basis. So yeah, just so everyone know what I really am focusing now, it's NBA betting and I'm always using threads in this forum as a reference before putting my bet.
Even though betting on sports now is a bit different due to new normal or in a set-up but still its better rather than have nothing at all.I do love basketball or specifically NBA

where i do make out bets mostly when the season starts or majority on playoffs time.Same goes with e-sports too, it might not be directly to be a physical sports
but im really interested on making out bets because im a gamer and i do have interest in doing so.
This is mostly users preference and interest because not all would really be loving the same game or sports.

That's definitely the most important, bet on what we love so we can enjoy, may it be esports or sports, as long as we are enjoying, we should not hesitate risking money, but of course with proper discipline to still enjoy despite by any chance we could also loss money. However, this topic focus on sports, not esports.

6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 17, 2021, 07:26:14 PM
With this big disappointments, I'm wondering if we can still bet on these sports in the future.
I mean, like MPBL, it's a popular league next to PBA, and when there's a controversy inside about sports rigging, will sportsbook still list this game?

Bookies will never get affected, they are in control of the line and they can always minimiz the risk by balancing both sides. It's the bettors who loss on the losing team will sacrifice but bookies will continue to make money. Also, they can limit the market of this bet if they found it unreliable, but would not totally remove it from betting market.

Maybe, they are always in business to offer us a chance to gamble no matter what the reputation of the game, as long as the public is betting and the action can be balance, bookies will take this as an opportunity, nice explanation mate, these people really are clever, more clever than those who are rigging sports.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: I just realized I'm 99.9% crypto and 0.1% in fiat on: April 17, 2021, 03:04:11 PM
I knew I was right around 99% crypto, but I actually took a second to calculate it and I'm only 0.1% fiat, 99.9% crypto right now! Granted I'm very low on cash right now haha, gotta cash out a couple thousand dollars worth of staking rewards to pay expenses this month, and generally I want to keep 0.5% in cash for my emergency fund.

But this just got me thinking, for anyone willing to share (just percentages, no raw numbers) where do your net worth crypto/fiat/anything-else percentages stand? Smiley Anyone else gone full bore into crypto as I have?
Practically to say is that I usually do the cashout and convert my crypto to our local currency. I keep remembering my biggest mistake last 2017, and I don't want to miss this time again. So I'll take this chance rather than to continued staking for my future, I actually did some investment and the funds are coming from my cashout which I think that also a good idea. I'm not saving cryptos but I do the outside investment which is just the same as what you did...
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you say you made money if you never actally sell your coins? on: April 17, 2021, 01:50:39 PM
Should you hodl forever?  Does everyone have a price?  What is yours?   Huh
Hodling is the safest way to invest most especially Bitcoin and the time of hodling depends on our needs. If an individual has the extra money for his daily needs and prefer to hodl his coins long term I think that is when he has to decide the exact time for a harvest unless he sold it for emergency use. We have the right to sell and hodl our coins but still we have our own preferrence.
We eventually doing this all the time and I'm not surprised why people are selling their coins during Bullrun and that gonna be expected.
No one for sure does the long-term holding ( like 10 years), I mean, it is very impossible for a person who does that if he aims to gain profit from his investment if he never knows to sell some but just to keep holding.

BUY now, hold, and SELL by tomorrow. That is normal, as I know.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devices used for Gambling on: April 17, 2021, 01:31:28 PM

I still prefer to use a larger monitor like desktop and laptop, most of the time this is my devices I used in gambling. For me, if you gamble wherever you go, that's more of addiction and you might be on a big risk if you continue to behave like that.
Using a big screen device is the best but the size is not a thing we usually can carry wherever we go.
I was actually using my phone and PC/Laptop. And just like you, I'm also really preferred to use my PC/Laptop at home and seldom use my phone for gambling. I mean, it was very comfortable playing and gambling using keyboard and mouse that we can easily control unlike of touching the screen.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will XDN be the Next DOGE ?? on: April 17, 2021, 10:11:30 AM
can't be ascertained like Doge, seeing that Doge has been handled by big influencers like Elon Musk. supported by many exchanges and a large trading volume on each exchange is a plus for Doge. I think this cannot be compared to XDN where XDN is a small coin that cannot be expected to be big like Doge if there are no big developments
Even without Elon Musk who support and shill Doge, still the same. I mean, there is no chance that XDN will likely be the same with Doge. To compared them are ridiculous.

We can't expect this new coin (XDN) with a low market volume and has been rejected by many investors, it is very impossible to make it.
Anyway, I don't look them as a potential coins, still not my choice coins to invest with and so, I don't care them much whether which is better and who is not.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Dogecoin a real coin? on: April 17, 2021, 03:58:12 AM
I want to know why OP is asking this one. I'm not sure if he does the research prior to this or he is just asking if Dogecoin could really be profitable and suitable for a long-term investment just like Bitcoin.

DOGEcoin is one of the known coin in market, you might never see that coin in progress if it is not legit.
Elon Musk has a huge contribution to its huge pump, people are buying such tweets and made them in FOMO seeing it was backup by Elon Musk.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No year of altcoins coming. All the big money is pouring into bitcoin. on: April 16, 2021, 11:20:40 PM
As of now establishments, financial backers are as yet centering and directing every one of their assets in Bitcoin. However, altcoins are still moving forward. I sometimes notice that when the price of Bitcoin goes down, the price of Altcoins goes down, when the price of Bitcoin goes up, the price of Altcoins goes up. But billions of dollars are being invested in Altcoins.
I'm glad to have this, and even despite the market manipulations, prices still moving freely up and down. What I observe since before, altcoins still relying on and following the trend of Bitcoin. We can see sometimes that the dominating percentage of Bitcoin drops but it never stays that short for long as it eventually backing up in a few days.

I'm looking forward to seeing the current momentum will stick until the end of this year but not sure if investors could still able to hold their coins and not tempted to sell them.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anybody here sell their Gold to buy Bitcoin? on: April 16, 2021, 10:25:46 PM
btc going to more valuable assets than gold. Btc now ranking 8 and gold 1 with marketcap $11.099 T and btc with $1.168 marketcap and btc going popular day by day and btc   will be no. 1 asset i believe.
Yes, bitcoin market is slowly moving up and this is the reason many people are selling their gold to buy bitcoins. I am very much sure that in coming years bitcoin will be beating gold's marketcap as there are so many institutional funds are coming into bitcoin market compared to what they were doing with gold market for years. So, there will be no surprises on seeing people to be switching over from gold to bitcoin. This is a timely demand and people are obeying it.
It is just a matter of choice, people are looking for any opportunity that they could get money in a short period of time, and having Bitcoin is considered to be a sort of fulfillment.

Gold have also of great value but we can't say it gives you the x10 or x100 market share in just a year or just a month of holding, not like if we invest in Bitcoin. This is how it puts into the mind of the people who are selling their gold for Bitcoin. It actually a great choice, and nothing to regrets.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do I invest in cryptocurrency or coinbase COIN on: April 16, 2021, 10:10:51 PM
Is investing in cryptocurrency is good idea or COIN ,

I believe that they are both in profiting but just to ask yourselves first which you are comfortable with. Because for me, I choose to invest in crypto. Though it consists of high risk, however, I was comfortable also that I can manage to control my emotions and could face the risk of it. I already have knowledge in crypto and that seems to be the advantage.

Just bear in mind that to choose where you confidently could perform right, not just because we are aiming for huge returns but we even don't know how to do it, that actually be useless.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 16, 2021, 09:13:24 PM

Anyway, how about let's discusss the Knicks vs Mavericks game, Knicks on a roll. what do you think, are they gonna win against the Mavericks here?

I guess I'm gonna ride my money with the Knicks here, I'll bet on the moneyline as they are the underdog and I think they have a chance since they are in a win streak. I'm getting 3.37 betting on the NYK in

Luka did the magic last time, not sure he can do that twice in a row.  Grin
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 16, 2021, 09:02:43 PM

Indiana Pacers are currently putting up a great show against Utah Jazz, and the scores are getting over the roof so I took a live for Over 236.5 @ 2.12

It's too early, I was not able to put a bet on this game.. now, it seems like the game is so close after Indiana took a good lead. I'm glad that Claskson is back, he is helping so I think Jazz would,.. .cheering up only since I was not able to put a bet and I have no plat to do live betting on this particular game.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading signal work or not? on: April 15, 2021, 11:43:50 PM
Even we are buying signals from experienced traders, there will be no guarantee those signals will be working all the time.
Indeed. That's why we don't rely on the trading signal group only. Not every time the signal can be easy to predict, also who give the signal is also a human, there should be a chance for a mistake.

Those professional traders who are joining the premium signal group, mustn't rely on the signal from the group only. They should have their own ways to examine the signal from the group and even have their own ways to get the signal themselves. It means the signal from the group is only one of the sources to collect the information, to follow or not, depends on the decision made by the trader.

Perhaps, there is no difference from what they do. Their market predictions might say it was better than us but the fact that we don't know the incomings, it guaranteed nothing, and it just like the same of what we do. To find to no use about trading signals, they will surely tell us that it really works, maybe it was but that be different as the market eventually changing from time to time.

Because for me, trading signals is just an additional tool for trading but we never have to rely on everything with it.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience with Trading Bots on: April 15, 2021, 10:45:06 PM

Thanks for the input! Actually i have a little "team" of friends who want to develop a bot themselfs. As i was into trading a little bit (read some books, did some research, did my master degree in business finance where i also touched the subject), i just want to get some feedback in generall regarding bots as i never was interested in the issue till now. So i really appreciate your awnser(s)
Ohh, so mean you and your team are trying to develop bots?

Anyway, having a passion for trading could influence our minds to be more proactive and even we don't use bots it surely will works. In fact, successful traders never know about this until new trading technologies are endorsed to the public. And creating a bot is simply of the continued creation to make help for traders especially to those who are in the hectic schedule but I'm not really sure if this thing works so well compared to manual trading.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on how to place sports bets on: April 15, 2021, 11:37:21 AM

- don't stick to "betting strategies", they will lead to a quick loss
Do you mean the popular ones like martingale or just any strategy in general? Having a strategy doesn't always lead to a quick loss since it still depends on how you'll manage your stakes after every loss or win.

Exactly, there are two kinds of strategy, a losing and a winning stategy, if your winning strategy is still effective, why would you change your strategy, right?
Every strategy should be specific and we should not mix up sports betting to other games with house edge.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 15, 2021, 11:20:25 AM
..but I just don't undertand what's their plan now as it's already April and they haven't made an announcement yet.

It's ok. No one is even expecting they will still push the league this month. The league won't push for an opening without teams training. They said teams must be given at least 2 weeks of practice but not possible for now because of the current restrictions not allowing sports activities.

MECQ will last until the end of the Month and I think that will be the last one and Manila will revert back again to GCQ where the practice is now allowed.  Doing Math, the expected opening can be the 3rd or 4th week of May, of course still depends on what will be the situation that time.

Thanks for that estimate, I have no problem if they delay the start of the season but I hope they'll start soon. I already miss the action in the PBA, it's really different in the NBA, I mean I like to support our very own and the betting every game is something I miss also.
