When I was GPU mining on Linux, it was much better to *not* have them in cross fire, but that was 18 months ago. You can have multiple cards in a system with crossfire disabled.

Hi, I'm Ryan. I've been a crypto geek since I was a little kid, and I am really excited to see where bitcoin goes - the design of the system is amazing. I built a quad GPU mining rig early summer 2011 and ran it for about six months before the absurd power costs in California made it unprofitable to continue.
