What driver are you using for your cards? What the best drivers for mining?
I have Aorus Extreme. On Aorus site they mention - 382.33 ... The latest - 385.41.
What is your opinion?

i'm using the latest one 385.41, i doubt there will be any significant difference maybe some algorithms better, some worth - but in the end final result will be close and I think if there was huge drop in performance of new driver, this loss would have been noticed already so I think it is safe use last one |

LoL I take a gamble- i mine ZEC or DGB when they are beaten to the ground. I was mining DGB when it was around 3-4 $ a day but I was accumulating coins.
Now recently I switched and changed them and it turned to be a profit around 7-7.50$ a day.
My ROI on my Card was 211 days single 1080ti - but I've paid it within 60 days. It's fair bit of luck as well because BTC is ripping though everything lol
My theory is - i accumulate coins that are best mined with 1080ti -so atleast card is being to used to full potential. (I'ts like buying shares of good company during a downturn) then selling during uptrend.
I bought 1080Tis just a few days ago, before I had 3x1070 only and I mined Signatum, BTX, CHC, ZEC I think nothing changed with an addition of 1080ti? or maybe I don't know something, then will be grateful if you share which algo suits 1080ti best I know the ETH, EXP, Music coins are useless to mine, but those algos which depend on sheer core power will be the best? Am I right? |

it depends on algo and coins whitepaper I think ! if I look trough whitepaper and see good plan of coin growth - that is a very good point for me, if website and wallets is working - that is a plus if in ANN thread there is a good bounty - that is plus as well, means devs wants to spend money on marketing and the last point is exchange - best option if coins is already there, going to exchange within few weeks less preferable if all points are checked I can mine 5K-10K if not, that maybe about 500-1000  |

I'm afraid mining is over for this coin now! You can mine signatum or DGB, they are both two underrated coins.
signatum has some difficulties now which affects on their cost in a long run perspective! look, first we have a huge scandal inside the team, when one of them desided to split second, now we have a problem with Cryptopia with wallet, cause there some problem with withdrawal that are not good news for Signatum(, but I hope then can fix it and earn trust of investors once again as for DGB - it has so big spikes )) but I agrree with on it, that is a good coin to watch and mine |

a very interesting discussion we have here, much to learn, huge interesting information! but for me I have a very negative ( I hope so far) experience with Ripple! Yes, bougt it on high spike and now I'm an investor until rate hit 6k+ values.. as for other coins, a very nice and I made a good profit from it : Sigt - a very young and promising project, I hope all problems will be sorted out than it come XVG - a very good margin I made recently and one of my favourite coin is DGB  oh, yeah, just forgot to mention, BTX as well is very nice  |

well, I believe something wrong with a figures here look, I have 1070 with Micron memory on it. everyone know this memory on nv cards sucks. it overclock to 8000-8500 Mhz only. and even with this clocks my cards was able to deliver about 30-30.5Mh/s on eth so if your 1080 has a samsung memory so it could reach even higher speed, the trick here is not overclock the core - the memory only! |

My guess will be like this someone rich  decided to invest into onion coin well, if you think = it is wise, because the supply is thin, the coins circulates in a few number on the market and it is hard to mine, so miners will not harm too much dumping daily volume and I think this investor can't take a part in airdrop so what choice does he has? just buy from exchange, but taking to the account that supply is limited, he bought all coins with a cheap price, then continue and continue to buy coins with higher and higher price. that is all |

the question I have here : do you considering AMD cards strictly ?
and what coin are you planing to mine? will it be eth?
considering your cost of electricity I'd better take a look for nvidia cards, 1060 for example
with PL 80 it usually consumes about 90-95W only and you can mine more altcoins because of better ccminer
imho.

I have lost some coins too
what should I do?
neither cryptopia nor nova do not want to help me ( I must say, cryptopia's support at least tried )
so I sent coins to exchange and they never came there

I heard that one of the Developers has some problem with his health  ( I wish him to be well, by the way) and that it why the last airdrop of 3% was delayed and that is why we may have some silence from the Dev team. I guess soon things will be sorted out. I think that something should be done about final airdrop rule as well, in order to avoid massive dump on markets! but, I believe if the rules of the final airdrop will be changed drastically, then it would dump the price as well! so DEV team should think very well and choose wise which decision to take it like red and blue pill Neo )) |
