1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season Champion: Milwaukee Bucks on: Today at 01:09:18 PM
Well, for those that have been feeling regret and think that they're just lucky because of the injury.

It's part of the game, whether the superstars got injured and that lessened the teams winning power. It's part of it, and what's done is done and congratulations to Bucks, 50 years in the making.

And Bucks should be proud because it was their franchise player who helps the team to make it possible, unlike other teams that need to form a superteam in order to win a championship, you know what I'm saying, right?  Smiley

If Giannis will win another championship, then I will have to admit that he is already in level with Lebron James and Kobe Bryant, for now, there are people who are still in doubt that the Bucks will not win a championship if they face a healthy Nets or a healthy Lakers/Clippers in the NBA Finals.

look at the NBA winner odds for next season, Bucks is x10.  Grin

Odds are unreal, what? Bucks x10 to win a championship? I think we should take this early as this might drop.

Since this is from sportsbet, you can also try to use a price boost to increase that odds, let me try.
Well the odds increase to 10.90, that's another bonus if they'll win the championship.

My concern is only the Nets, if they'll beat them again, then they will have a good chance in the NBA Finals as Lebron is not getting any younger if his team will reach in the NBA finals again.

DYIP is playing a good 1st half, we are in the 2nd half now with DYIP leading by 3 points. Anyone here taking the NLEX -3.5 full game?

I think NLEX will come back and win the game, they lose their last game and I'm sure they'll bounce back here.
DYIP is still a bad team, I have no confidence in this team so I'll always bet against this team.

I did not bet on the last game, I am just watching the game as I don't feel I could win. Your decision seems right, NLEX Road Warriors had a great run in the 3rd quarter, they beat the DYIP by 11 points and they are already in the lead now with 8 points going to the 4th quarter.

I think poker is a good example for a game that requires an amazing mental health. Sure luck in involved, but think about those guys playing the world series of poker for seven days or so. Sitting at the table for 10 hours a day, never lose your mind and be patient and patient even if it's not going well for you for a day. I respect that a lot as to me it is quite an achievement to get through these huge events. Even players like Gus Hansen started losing their minds, interestingly when they got older. You would think they'd be more calm as they got older, but you have less mental fitness and endurance.

Indeed, poker is one of those types of game which you really need good mental balance,

Lots of thinking between right calls and bluffing, stress mistakes and enjoyable turned around, end of the day with luck and good system
or sets of strategy that you used, most of the time you end up winning the game or if you lose you learned and try to recreate and adjust your strategy.

Poker is a skilled-based type of game, I believe we have a lot of successful poker gamblers, there are even the young ones who are already a millionaire because of Poker. If we want to take gambling seriously, then this is the type of game that we should focus, skilled-based so we can use our skills.

you'll be stress, that's normal in gambling especially if you are still learning or improving your skills, but if you keep improving and you focus on your goal, eventually you'll be consistent in the long run and that will make your journey a profitable one.

Northport almost upset the SMB on their big 4th quarter run.

SMB won by 2 points only, but the 4th quarter score was only 23-9, they held the SMB to 9 points only.

Top performers.

SMB. Perez 18 points, Santos 17 points, and Cabagnot 16 points.
Fajardo only had 8 points in this game.

Slaughter 23 points, Bollick 19 points, and Onwubere 12 points.

6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 24, 2021, 09:20:21 PM

let's take it one step at a time, I know we want a Filipino champion as we support them, but Casimero still has to win against Rigondeaux so he will pass on the next stage.

True, Rigondeaux already not in his prime anymore is a very dangerous fighter, dangerous in a manner that he can beat an opponent with his defensive style, I think even if Inoue will face Rigondeaux, there's still not assurance that Inoue will win, and we can count out Donaire as he loses against Rigondeaux in their fight.
One loss to a  boxer doesnt mean that he would really be having that kind of status forever. We wont know if Donaire had really improved or not but surely these two had already past their prime.
Inoue is been targeted out mainly but i dont see for this guy to be beaten up easily.Lets just see  on how Donaire would be handling out Inoue if they would be having  a rematch.
If this fight would happen then it   would really be getting that some of attention or hype specially we had already  seen those past match-ups.

Though Donaire lost in the first fight, I think his odds are better now compared to the last time as he won against a champion and not only a simple win, he won by his signature KO style. Also, I believe that Donaire will be more inspired, will work hard to beat Inoue as he wants to have a good legacy in boxing and would like to retire as champion in the bantam weight division.

Halftime at the moment between Phoenix and Alaska with Phoenix leading by 11 points. Seems another upset is looming in the horizon huh.

And Phoenix got the win! You have won your ML bet. No Wright, No problem as Vic Manuel leads the team.

Not just him but his teammates also step up on that game. Vic Manuel is playing like he's not a veteran. Phoenix needs that kind of player as having a dominant forward is one of the best assets of any team in the league.

Wright's ankle sprain is projected to feel better in a week or two.

We might see more underdog odds for Phoenix while Wright is still out due to injury, I liked it, I mean it's an opportunity for me knowing that even without Wright, this team can still win and everyone is contributing.

we have other players also who scored double digit,

Perkins has 12 points, Melecio 13 ( must be a rookie), and Jazul got 19.

Yes, he is just a rookie but he is already showing up.

19th overall in draft, Aljun Melecio certain he made the right decision to skip final year

Well, consistency is still very important, if he can contribute double digit points consistently to the team, then he will be a big help for the Phoenix.

I think he can be a good point guard, and we usually see the rookie's talent once they are called to step up because their best player is not available.

8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season Champion: Milwaukee Bucks on: July 24, 2021, 02:20:12 PM

I think Giannis has to respect Lebron and Durant, they join a team because they want to win a championship and it's not illegal, if he does not want to be criticized, he should not talk sh*t about other superstars, did Giannis want to hear that he only won because his team was playing against an injured Brooklyn Nets?

Respect indeed, he may be the man of the moment after winning the title but the question is how long he will

hold this, knowing that there are many rivals in this coming new season, better to stay humble and prove your worth without saying
against anyone, you'll be love by the fans more. Look how MJ kill all those rivals stars from his era, by simply climbing without any
self claimed he destroy everyone to bring himself at the very top!

Exactly, the chance of the Bucks to win the NBA Finals or even advance in the NBA Finals is not high if they were able to face a healthy Brooklyn Nets, and if they got lucky and advance in the NBA Finals, they might struggle against a healthy LA Clippers.

That's just my opinion, and I really believe Bucks would not win.

Look, I'm not a hater of Giannis, in fact I bet on the Bucks to win against the Suns, I'm just telling the reality.

Time to move on for tomorrow's games.

At 2:00 PM, we have Meralco Bolts against ROS  (+4.5)
I'm betting on the Rain or shine here, though Meralco had already won twice in a row but I think ROS is also a dangerous team due to their good defence.
betting on the spread and moneyline.

At 4:35 PM, we have Alaska Aces vs Phoenix LPG. (+3.5)

I'm wondering why Phoenix is the underdog here.

This one I'm not sure too, maybe I'll watch the game first and just put my bet through live betting.
If Wright is out, then no way I will bet on the Phoenix.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: July 23, 2021, 01:48:11 PM
So far no news yet, so we have to wait and see if this fight is going to happen.

Perhaps they want to keep the detail in secret for now, but I do think that this will eventually happen since Donaire vs Casimero is no longer happening, and then Inoue just came from a big victory.

So won't see any odds on the bookies because the fight is not officially announced.
After the disappointment and cancelled match between Casimero and Donaire, they both in contact with other boxers to fight with them, and both of them are still waiting for the official announcement if they'll be having a match or not.

There's not odds yet for Casimero and Rigondeaux, though it should already be finalized and as per OP it's already secured so I'm also wondering why it is not available, the fight will happen in the next two weeks no updated news yet.

Let us not think yet of the Casimero vs Inoue fight as Casimero has to beat Rigo in order for him to be given a chance to fight the king of the bantamweight division. he needs to focus in winning the fight as Rigo is not an easy opponent, and if he wins, then they can be in business if Inoue's promoter will find the fight against Inoue will bring a better revenue.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to invest or wait ? on: July 23, 2021, 01:24:15 PM

don't hesitate to invest at any time if you believe it's the best time of the analysis you've done, because if it's too late then you will wait for more time.
It's always good to invest when the analysis is coming from us, not from another person and we just follow.

What we need here is knowledge, because if we are smart, we will likely succeed while people who just follow the call of others might not be able to survive in the long run. Investing does not need to be complicated, it just needs some focus, being realistic and you should not be greedy at the same time.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: See why most bounty hunters get scammed on: July 22, 2021, 09:52:48 PM
Maybe in some cases, I'm really surprised that people work without regard to the mission or new updates on the rules, ultimately, the KYC requirements (If any) that they missed. Then they came back again and demanded their rice. then criticize and vent their rage on bounty managers. Poor awareness is exactly what I see in bounty work these days. We should only demand justice for the right cases.

I have to agree with you. Each bounty campaign states that the campaign owner or manager can make changes to the rules. Unfortunately, bounty hunters often do not read the basic rules at all, so for sure do not pay attention to any changes that take place during the campaign.
If someone does not fulfill such basic obligations as reading the rules and following them, they should not join the campaign at all, and certainly not claim a reward if they did not follow them.

If the changes are acceptable then there should be no problem with that.

Some bounty campaigns are really obvious of cheating their participants, by the end of the same, they reduce the reward and ask for KYC, for me that is unreasonable and a way of scamming the bounty hunters for their effort, they can always change as they are in control of the reward, but they should be smart in doing some changes that it will not affect their reputation.

Salute to the teams and players that always have a clean match.............

Just like other sports, I think the main culprit of sports rigging is not the team or the players, it's probably the people officiating the game, that way, the rig is not so obvious and as we observed, we don't usually see a player that is consistent but having a bad game, it's actually the referees making inconsistent calls.
Yes, that's likely. But these are accusations and we've got no proof anyway this is just a discussion of what we think is actually happening. Without such approval from the top officials, there will be no rigging of match or there won't be favor that shall be granted. We've heard it once and ones there's another guy from the league starts to voice out his frustration, well, that confirms the first voice that we've heard about how rigged the league is. And for the meantime, let's forget about this discussion and let's focus on the current games that they're giving us.

There's no way the officials will make this league a rig one, it's not like a wrestling match, it's a real competition with real pride, it's just sometimes there are questionable calls that will make people think this league is rigged. Referees will play a vital role in sports rigging, and if it will happen, the team will have no idea that referees are cooking the game to make a specific team win.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 22, 2021, 02:22:10 PM
Skills and talent, these both fighter have it.
Agree, They both have professional careers in boxing championships.

Inoue he is from japan, i admit his attack and hit ratio, he won the WBA, IBF title in 19, so he got the title with the nickname 'moster' in 2012.
Boxer donaire comes from the Philippines, I do not underestimate in the ring against Inoue this time, Donaire also has speed and strength that is recognized by many boxing fans, he's also won several titles and is also a WBC bantamweight champion, I'd say both have strengths.

Conclusion: for both of them between Donaire vs. Inoue if they bet in the boxing ring this time, I will see from the age factor, you must know what I mean, age assessment.

The age factor is not a big deal, IMO, Inoue is just the better fighter and he will win against Donaire.

In the first fight, we saw how Inoue had dominated the fight, I think the same thing will happen in the rematch.
Donaire understands his chances, but he also wants to take a big risk because if he wins, he will get a good reward for being a unified champion.
I like Donaire because he is not afraid of taking big fights, but this time, I just feel Donaire has faced the best fighter in the division and he can't beat him.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 21, 2021, 09:37:06 PM
So "glad" hardcore rigged Philippine Basketball  is back, always good for a laugh.

Alaska aces 17/36 free throws, turnover 20sec before the end at 82:82 and then lose to a buzzer.

Did everything they can to lose this game.

This league is a real shame, honestly!

Really? or maybe it's just your own opinion, we might think the league is rigged but we can't conclude they are as we have no evidence.

If you are a bettor, just bet on the right side so you'll win.

I'm glad I was not able to bet on this game, I might still lose as I will bet on the magnolia spread.

This has nothing to do with right side - wrong side.

PH basketball has a history of being corrupt and fixed and easy to tell at the start of the season that this hasn't changed.

I agree with that, but if you really know it's corrupt and you are still watching it, then you should put some bet and take advantage of it. The thing is, you would not love watching the game if you don't put a bet because it will not anymore excite you, so no sense in wasting your time.

Actually, it's not only PBA that is corrupt, even NBA, there are a lot of theories that fix games are happening, so PBA is not different.

This story of game-fixing is not new to us and to prove that indeed there are rigged games is very hard. IMO, I think that it's just a coincidence that everything turned out that way and the PBA has nothing to do with it. Who will benefit if they will intend to lose their game and with today's technology, it is easier to spot a rigged game than before, and being honest and fair is profitable nowadays so I give them the benefit of the doubt that it's only pure coincidence.

We have different theories, and personally, I believe that PBA could be rigged, however, I still love to watch this game as PBA is still the most popular basketball in the league, so we have no choice. About how they benefit, we don't know, but we millions of money being wagered in a game, a million per game income for fixing the game could already make the team owner richer as that's easy money.

Back to the actual game now, the next schedule will be on Friday.

We got Ginebra vs Bossing and Beermen vs NLEX, both SMB teams had loss on their opening game.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Dogecoin overpriced? on: July 21, 2021, 09:16:13 PM
Doge is so overvalued right now not only in usd terms but in terms of sats.  With 10k doge block rewards every minute this should be back to 25-60 sats in no time.  Buying doge here is a suckers bet.

Well guess too many suckers in the game. Following that Elon train and get wrecked relentlessly.

Doge bouncing back, I guess this would somehow give relief to those who are still holding DOGE right now and hoping it will reach $1 to make a profit. It's obvious that DOGE will go down in the long run as the market situation cannot help them to hold on.

I'm watching how DOGE will collapse and what price it will end.  Grin
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taxes on gambling send the right message? on: July 18, 2021, 09:22:22 PM
It is a form of discouraging people from launching a gambling site and for people to stop gambling because of the high cost of setting up and playing in casinos is indeed a false morality you still cannot stop people from gambling, rich people will ignore the cost but those average joes who want to play will have to find ways to sustain their cost of playing in the casinos, they are not punishing the rich players but the average players, who will bear the high cost of playing.
You are right on the sense that taxes can be used in this way, low or no taxes to encourage something and high taxes to discourage certain behaviors, I have no doubt that many politicians see it this way which is why things like alcohol and gambling have such high taxes, but even then I have no doubts there are many politicians that do not really care and are using this as nothing more but a justification to keep raising taxes to those industries.
Well, I agree with the discouraging part and thinking that it is right. I also noticed in my country that they seem implemented a law to raise it high the taxes on the tobacco industry, we know that it is not good health and many manufacturers would suffer and becomes losing interest if they will put high taxes. The same story on gambling, if they will put a high taxes many of the owners will also discourage and do not continue their business until they will stop, now it makes sense to me why they had high taxes.
Gambling operators will only stop operating if they are losing, high taxes doesn't mean they operate in a losing manner, some can still sustain because they have a lot of clients that is consistently gambling and that means they are bringing money to the business, also, the government will not implement high taxes if they don't find it reasonable as they are also concern on the business to survive.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 18, 2021, 09:02:45 PM
I expect the odds to change when it is the week of the fight.

I think this will be different from the Thurman fight where Pacquiao ends up as a slight favorite, here, there was a little odds movement happening already but it's Errol Spence's value that has increase. So from 2.70, now at 2.80, then it's possible that a week before the fight, the odds will be 3.00.

Maybe different in terms of odds movement but I guess it will be the same in terms of fight outcome. I think I'm getting bias here but I already see the odds as very attractive now, how much more if it will hit 3.00 a week before the fight. Pacquiao has been training hard and their camp said that he will be more condition now compared to his fight with Thurman.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 18, 2021, 08:46:13 PM
I really wanted to see a game 7, this doesn't change anything and there could still be a game 7 but I have to say that it is now a lot harder for Suns to end up winning at a road game, there is a good chance Bucks could end this in 6. ~snip~

The situation now favors the Bucks, they'll bring their biggest crowd in game 6 because if they'll win, they'll celebrate. I also don't see a scenario where the Suns will ruin this, if the Bucks will win, they deserve to celebrate the championship at home.

With this possible win, Giannis will be proven to be one of the legit NBA stars because his resume will go like this.

Regular season MVP
NBA Finals MVP
NBA Champion.

At a young age of 26 years old, that's already a big achievement and he deserves that as he never joins a superteam to win a championship. Durant is 32 years old and yet so explosive, if Giannis will develop more as a player, he will become as good as Lebron but better as a team player. Chris Paul's dream to win a championship before he retires might not be realized, and next season will be tough for the Suns as most teams will be healthy again.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 18, 2021, 08:03:58 PM
Today we have 2 games, 2 big games actually, hopefully, we will be able to see Fajardo play.

1-SMB vs Bolts

Actually, we will have 3 games for today as I see it in the schedule and the third game will be between Blackwater vs Rain or Shine.

Speaking of Fajardo, he will play, and just like what their team manager said that he is not 100 percent healthy but he looks good on their scrimmages I think his presence is enough to at least boost the morale of his teammates because even if he's not 100 percent, he is still dangerous to other teams so I'll be backing them to win today.

Not the result I expected, luckily I was not able to place my bet on this game as I have an early trip.

Though SMB loss but it was a close game.
JMF scores 5 points only and played 18 minutes, he is not yet fully activated, we will know if he plays longer minutes and generate a double double in points and rebounds.
