2  Economy / Economics / Re: global economy collapsing this fall on: September 27, 2016, 05:58:11 PM
I agree that the reign of the USD as a global trade currency is coming to an end. But not only the USD, almost all major fiat currencies will likely collapse in the foreseeable future. The simple reason is the irresponsible expansion of the monetary base that will render USD, EUR, JPY, and GBP worthless via inflation.

The economy is in very bad shape and governments are indebted like never before in history. All their actions are directed at buying time, not solving the underlying problem. Because the underlying problem is debt-based fiat currency, which at the same time is a significant source of power for those in charge (bankers and politicians alike).

However it's very difficult to predict the exact time of collapse. In that regard, the video is just hogwash. The global Ponzi scheme might collapse in an instant or it might survive a few more years - nobody can reliably predict that.

ya.ya.yo!
could you see it happening within 10 years?

Calm down guys. I am sure that we will see another global crisis in the future - that is more than certain. But I don't think it will be this year.
And if you search YouTube or internet - you will find that there are loonies who predict USD collapse basically every year.
but this has happened before in Venezuela and Zimbabwe whats to stop it happening in the western world

i see where youre coming from. His actual evidence he uses are pretty awful and there are no real facts and figures there to support these videos. Just mild statements here and there.

Jeff Berwick is one of the guys that has been recommending Bitcoin since it was really cheap, it's a good show but overall it's a bit over the top and if it's not as insane Alex Jones, it's a bit illuminati type of shit.

In any case we all know the system will collapse, but trying to guess when its just a gamble.
do you think it will be within the next 10 years or more?

I'll admit all this sounds fine and dandy but, to be honest, all this stuff is based on a series of events taking place in the exact way these people predict them.

The US is definitely headed in a rocky direction but, I think these people are just a group of arrogant asses that want the satisfaction of telling the world "I told you so." They are no different than the religious groups that have been wrong time and time again about the end of the world.
so you dont believe the dollar will collapse then?

11  Economy / Economics / Re: The next financial crisis and Bitcoin on: September 25, 2016, 02:47:11 AM
It could go either way. People may be willing to invest in bitcoin as its seen as a relatively safe investment. It has alot more value now then paper money. But if paper money diminishes no one will have paper money to buy bitcoin.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too late for joining Bitcoin, which altcoin is best? on: September 25, 2016, 02:44:28 AM
NXT is a fascinating and innovative new crypto. It is second generation completely new code rather than a simple twist on Bitcoins code. Some people have issues with how the original IPO was handled, but overall its distribution is slightly better than Bitcoin's at this point. Read up on it, it has quite a few interesting features.
do you work for nxt lol?

Yeah not bad.  VJ night out - funny Wink  You certainly have a lot of confidence on stage!  Nice suit too.
I still had a lot of trouble making out every word though even with my headphones on; your voice is pretty deep and with the echoes and your accent make it hard to discern each word in the recording.  Maybe if you could record the mic output instead it might help?  Although in saying that, I gave my friend's mom (she was originally from Chesterfield) a lift to work one day and I couldn't understand a word she was saying.  At one point I said "Yeah..." and she was like "YeeaAH?!?! Really?" with her eyes wide open.  I had to confess that I couldn't understand her.  Weird since we're both English speakers Wink

cheers for your time spent watching bro i appreciate your feedback, its annoying the lack of clarity from the 2nd video as its meant to have a built in mic.

The most possible scenario is that we might see economic crisis. But most likely we won't see dollar collapse during our lifetime.
It would be worse than Zombie Apocalypse and US Gov knows that. They have instruments to prevent that situation and they won't hesitate to use them.

And even with totally unplayable debt economy of US could exists because of still strong productivity.
This however can change quickly as we now observing productivity crisis -  'US productivity slips for first time in three decades'.

what instruments can they use to prevent it? So you dont think the economy will collapse this year
18  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: July 06, 2016, 12:51:30 PM
i think paper money will stay always and paper money are using in large number in everywhere and i also like paper money than coins .
i doubt that paper money will always stay around, in my opinion the price of the bitcoin is going to grow and i think that people will switch from paper money to bitcoins
are people ready for this transition though im not too sure.... Most people still dont know about bitcoin
