We would like to welcome @SlowGrowth to the Zyrk team!
They are currently on a one week trial to see if the project suits them.

SlowGrowth has an extensive background in crypto and non crypto related businesses. Including some larger well known projects.
We would like to give them a warm welcome and hope the community will to. If you have any questions regarding their experience I am sure they will be more than happy to share with you!

Once again welcome to the team SlowGrowth!

I'm very proud to join such a competent team and be part of this amazing project.

Privacy is something that i'm very interested in ( as most that know me will tell ) and being involved in a new privacy protocol is a huge incentive to me. Thank you for the confidence the team as given me and lets take Zyrk to the moon Smiley

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: February 13, 2019, 04:51:59 PM
Update v1201:
- custom miners packages support (You can now use prepared by You miner package. Select CUSTOM miner from miner list and follow the instructions there)
- download repository (miner and images) is now moved to Amazon AWS infrastructure
- changed parser to API console for miner xmrig-nvidia (required --api-port in miner options from version 2.11.0)

I wish i knew how to do this Sad i guess i will have to wait for your kindness to actually add the miner...

Hey guys,
Seems like login is failling due to invalid captcha but the captcha never appears to be solved...
Any tip on solving this?
Thank you and keep up the great work

It is invisible thinkg that appears on right down corner.
Yet i received from 3 people information about this problem.
Can you tell me if it is still happening ? Today cloudflare had some little problem that might caused it.

Yes i still cant login to my account... Doesnt appear anything on right down corner...

EDIT: Its working on chrome but not working on opera...

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoW][MN] raven dark (xrd) - fair launch! on: January 14, 2019, 05:55:48 PM
Just a quick update -

We've had a lot of people asking when we'll be on an exchange. Our main focus initially is to build a solid foundation, and I believe we're almost there. All exchanges that have claimed to have add raven dark have done so of their own volition. We did not ask for that. We thank them for considering our project but ask that everyone not hold it against us. We're aware that low or zero volume exchanges don't look good, and again, we did not ask to be added to those exchanges. The only approved "exchange" method is using https://escrow.mnrank.com/ to mitigate the trust issue with 3rd party escrow (no offense to our great and trustworthy escrow people:) ).

Raven Dark is a fully grass roots project. As such, we do not have any financial backers and are not beholden to anyone. In the coming weeks we'll be releasing a white paper and road map. After that (and only after that) we will start to look at getting listed on some (at least somewhat) reputable exchanges. This will depend on what is required by those exchanges to be listed. Some of you may not know that the exchange sector is mostly "pay to play" and they typically require 3-10 BTC to start the listing process. While I think that this is mostly to help offset costs and to thwart pump and dump schemes, it's definitely a hurdle for grass roots projects. Some exchanges are realizing that this is not quite fair and have an application process for situations like ours.

While I'd like to avoid asking for funding, if you would like to help out we do accept donations of BTC at the following address: 1L1Qnk749D1zbRkWFTdoi3884zUqF2Ddnh. If you'd like to donate in some other currency, either reply here with that currency and I'll get an address or hit me up on the discord.

Thank you for your support!

100% agree with you. Build the foundation of the project first (the need for it to be exchangeable) then look for exchanges like cryptobridge, they are a decentralized exchange with solid background and not crazy fee's (neither min volume demands like some other exchanges) Good luck Smiley

Interesting concept... Will dedicate a few miners and keep an eye on development updates.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] | Mono | POW - Community Built - Private - Egalitarian on: December 18, 2018, 05:27:04 PM
Full on community-support projects like this are difficult to muster for. Especially in a crypto bear market where there's very little visible, immediate, guaranteed recouped value from participation.

As the leader, expect to bridge any and all gaps in development or decision, and it will be mostly gaps. Most everything will be centralized around you until decisive value is built into this project, visible in a healthy marketplace. That will take months.

If you can stay anon and offer ***anything*** cool and unique on your own, this project may have a long-term prospect.

IMHO, the first "best bet" development possibility that comes to my mind, is to present Mono as a Second Coming of John Connor's Vanillacoin/Vcash/VNL/XVC, including all previous innovations (Zerotime etc), updated to the latest Monero/Bitcoin libraries. Can you do this (or something like it) on your own for now, with help as interest grows?

That's a really great idea, and thanks a lot for the help.
I'd be open to bridging any gaps in development, that's what I meant by I'll be developing and want the project to grow on it's own, i'm not expecting immediate growth and actually expect it to take a few months before a solid community is formed.
I don't really want to present Mono as the second coming of anything right now, I want the community to help choose what features the coin should have, but yes, if there is nothing else to add implementing the features of Vcash shouldn't be too hard.

Cool. The reason I wanted to take the time and spell it out bluntly is I think you've put forth a design aesthetic I haven't seen yet, and that's something a lot of projects struggle with, even tokens that have raised multi-millions skimp on unity of design aesthetic. So if you have dev chops backing that up, excellent.

The Vcash ideal sprang to mind as there's been a heavy focus on cryptonight-algo launches this year. End to end privacy and the right to remain anonymous is (in my humble opinion) going to be the next forefront requirement from cryptocurrencies, considering it'll be blowback from the overreaching regulation we're seeing right now. A Vcash-tech resurrection would be a welcome alternative from the proliferation of cryptonight coins. Vcash was an early branch off from the anon tech tree that sadly died a premature death from early whales who accumulated it and suppressed the price to get more; the dev couldn't realize the value he was building into the coin, in the marketplace by selling off what he mined himself.

Some projects get around this by paying themselves part of the premine or a hardcoded part of every block reward. If you can mine on your own alongside everyone else during a fair PoW launch that bodes best but it's extra effort and cost on the lead dev's part.

Thanks for sparking up the conversation as Bitcointalk has of late devolved into "here's translation give bounty" and "here's a pool". Nothing wrong with that but it's kind of the lowest level of engagement.

I agree with notsofast, Vcash was a very interesting privacy oriented tech that die unfortunatly. Imho there are very few alternatives being explored in the privacy centered crypto ( mostly Monero or Zcash variants ) and a ressurection of an alternative seems very interesting.
17  Economy / Exchanges / Re: TradeOgre on: June 21, 2018, 10:14:18 AM
I think this exchange adds coins without the consent of the coin developer. Of course it can be good since it increase liquidity and may be bad since its may increase dumping. (ex: graft I think)

Why should the coin developer have to consent to their coin being added to an exchange?

Read carefully here https://intensecoin.com/2018/02/february-15th-update/ , but you'll still stand by their side ( how much do they pay you ? )

Im proud of my values so i had to come here... We have published that in february, its just mere caution since we had no contact with exchange admins, but since then i can testify for their help and quick support when we had any issues including the last April attack.

With this said, users need to be careful of any exchange ( including Bitfinex etc ) because your centralizing your private keys loosing control of them. We have nothing against small exchanges and TO has been very supportive for some time now so i can only say good things from our personal experience.

Im sorry, i cant allow our name to be used to attack TO

intense coin has a interesting product down the pipeline should be releasing soon

Their product has been repeatedly hacked, forked an rolled back. I suggest you stick to their forum.

I have nothing against Mysterium. I think competition is healthy, however, I can't accept that you spread false info. Our product has never been hacked because it wasn’t released yet. If you were refering to our blockchain, yes we DO have blockchain devs. We were under one attack that we were able to deflect in a very short time, leaving the attacker empty handed. Yes we did fork and we did roll back, just like the same platform you used to issue your token did ( thats why ETC exists ).

With this said, I just wanted to clear out that information and I wish you all the best.

Greetings, thank you for clearing that up. We don't welcome advertising other products as we get constantly spammed and so the response to that user. We respect every other legitimate project and I would like to apologize as this was something that I had read. We also believe that competition is healthy and the VPN market will continue to grow. Also wishing the best and will keep everything positive. The post has now been removed, thanks.

I appreciate your response and quick action, i understand it's not an easy situation to manage but i couldn't just sit and watch has you might understand. Thank you for recognizing that, i also support all legitimate projects and in regard to our specific one (VPN) i don't see any problem in us coexisting together. Again i appreciate your quick response and i wish you the best.

I cannot believe it is almost a month since the wallet problem appeared.
If devs are blind I'll explain: nobody will start or trust a coin with a wallet
which is not working and a crowd which is dissat and cannot get it's coins in or out.
Is it a trick before you disappear, was there a dev split or jsut good old scam?

To be accurate we released a fork, planned for the 14th of May, on the 21st of April when problems with sync started to happen after we acted in defense against the attack on our blockchain. I apologize for the issues users experienced and we have released yesterday version 2.0.2 that is fixing current sync problems. If you do need further assistance please join our discord.

Thank you
