101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin to invest in before the fork? on: October 23, 2017, 08:28:38 AM
I have no idea about wave because I have not researched well about Wave but you can go for ETHER,NEO,RIPPLE.Lets go for first Ether because Ethereum is an open software platform based on blockchain technology that enables developers to build and deploy decentralized applications.Second is NEO because  NEO uses a unique blockchain algorithm that improves upon Ethereum’s model.NEO has made some outstanding progress in both value and market capitalization. And the third one is RIPPLE because Ripple is a very popular network, many banks across the world use it as the basis for their own settlement infrastructure and also their developer team is good. And you can also go for IOTA, Bitshares , PeerCoin, Zcash(ZEC),Tezos, Dogecoin, Ethereum Classic, DigitalCash(DASH),SysCoin(SYS),Verge(XVG), but before invest in any coin , first research well about that coin or take advice from well experienced traders or investers if needed to avoid loss.

Waves is somewhat the same with ethereum i think because their are also tokens or altcoins that are being built on their own platform. But i guess i would agree with the list you just made because most of them are popular users and especially ripple. Ripple has a unique use because of its banking ability although cant be mined, it is one of the successful not mined altcoin in the market.
102  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin - new Business Opportunities on: October 23, 2017, 06:24:22 AM
Bitcoin is open source, decentralized that anyone is welcome to make this an opportunity to all. There are so many ideas of businesses to implement bitcoin payment but the problem is the owners themselves. They don’t want to risk, they’re uncertainty to cryptocurrency because it was not legalized by each country except to those have been.

It is just how each user would utilize how they control their own investment strategy. Because their a lot of strategy from different users but some times it doesnt jive with another ones strategy. Some want early profit and some prefer longterm profit. But nonetheless they are earning. Their are also bad news on scams of how users was swindled but that just shows how hard also to be desperate for money.
103  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What do you expect from cloud mining? on: October 23, 2017, 05:51:17 AM
Hello,

I'm currently looking to understand more about what are the top things you consider when it comes to mining in the cloud?

Well, convince yourself that a cloud mining is not a reliable source of bitcoin, there nothing you need to consider with that as these kind of program aren't really going to last, a good and trusted cloud mining service which will give you passive income doesn't really exist . It is already expected since before that all of them will eventually turn into a scam after getting their target amount of funds raised from user's deposits .

And if you dont have the proper equipment, they will just mine you and you will lose more electricity without you being aware of it. It maybe of free service but its just to take advantage of people who wants free bitcoin. Some may say that not all cloud mining are scams but over the years they just are just taking mined coins for their own.
104  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Could we invalidate all regulations? on: October 23, 2017, 05:07:29 AM
That would be ideal but you have to think about the government. It survives off of collecting taxes. it would disintegrate if everyone just only used bitcoin without any regulation

Well then the economy of a government fall down if it is without taxes. Because if all transaction would eventually go to bitcoin, then their will be no money for the government and it will go to businessmen or corporation. That would mean big conglemerate is getting richer while the government itself is just stuck. Unless the government would make services with bitcoin, then it is really hard for the economy to increase without taxes.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why and Who ALLOW the Bitcoin Hardfork? on: October 23, 2017, 04:43:17 AM
"allow"?!!
what is it these days with people and the idea of centralizing bitcoin?

a decentralized open source project with a MIT license is free for everyone to use as they like. sometimes they fork bitcoin and create something interesting like LTC, NMC,... that actually has something to offer and the developers are trying to explore other possibilities and sometimes they just create crap like 100s of forks from bitcoin.

if you think these new method of forks can damage bitcoin then we have to find a way to fix the issue in bitcoin not prevent others from doing it.
maybe not the best example but that would be like finding a bug and asking people not to exploit it, instead of fixing the bug itself!

And sometimes miners needs to upgrade the soft ware that is used to mine the blocks. But as traders we really dont have a choice because it is definitely a gain for us if the fork would be integrated especially with acquisition of new coin. But as miner if you already have mined a block but the hardfork would deem it invalid or otherwise then it really is not appropriate to have a hardfork.
106  Economy / Economics / Re: What would be the possible impact of BTC in the economy of a country? on: October 22, 2017, 12:24:04 PM
If there is no payment of tax from bitcoin, there can be problem in revenue system.

that is why it is not easy to regulate bitcoin in some states, Because it will only be the citizens will get rich and not the government it self. I mean it would be good it citizens are rich but the country's income wont change and their status wont be uplifted in some world organizations. Because depending on how much country earns, that how they could lend. And if they cant show big money, then they stay as lower class countries.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: October 22, 2017, 11:59:55 AM
Huge surprises happened last night with OKC, GSW and Cleveland loses.  Amazing.  There are never "easy" games guys.

Well that just shows that it is not easy to have supermembers in a team. And not because a team is composed of many stars, they can eventually win the game. It is just in the chemistry and how others are not hungry to be the star player of the team. Okc stars have not yet achieved championship so i guess they have chemistry issues and gsw and cavs are just not in the mood during that game to win everything.
108  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin Only Exclusive Items on: October 22, 2017, 11:42:30 AM
Are there any such retailers? All I can think of is illegal black market online stuff. You're probably going to find a few if you start browsing the dark web lol.
These retiles are not really sufficient and the profit of the bitcoin will be high if the best source of the income will be applied for the increasing income of the bitcoin I am going to invest the high money I the bitcoin to get the good service for the increasing price of the bitcoin, I love to be the bitcoin user and the money through the bitcoin will give me the unstoppable profit indeed.

If for you, that is your strategy then its fine as long as you are profitting from it. But we all have different strategy and sometimes just having one income is not a smart strategy if you want to make more money. At least op is finding other coins which is maybe tough considering it is not in the hourly basis that altcoins price is changing. The only thing good about btc is it is always moving but altcoins can also be a big profit in a long term investment.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop on: October 22, 2017, 10:50:09 AM
Hello everyone,

I'm just learning about the Airdrop coins,  I missed out on a lot because I had my coins in an exchange. Can someone direct me in the right direction to get the up coming bitcoin gold and other Airdrop coins.  Thank you in advance

as far as i know , airdrop means free giveaway of coins or token and its not necesarry required to have any balance in your wallet in order to recieve an airdrop but all you gotta do is just fill up their forms by providing some of your info like email addres and eth wallet ( some are required to install other wallet ) and there a site called airdropalert.com if you want to catch all active and upcoming airdrops.
about bitcoin gold ; you need to transfer your bitcoin to a supported exchange or wallet before the fork in order to recieve it.

And you have to wait until the token goes to the market in order to acquire the goods but that is intended for long term investments until they release the token. but i think it is not always that there are freedrops that will be successful. Depends on what kind of airdrop they are giving it is still best to at least have some reading. Or participate in some bountry campaigns, it might not be free and you have to work, but at least it is more legit than just waiting for free drops.
110  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New sophisticated scam in cloud mining, be wary. on: October 22, 2017, 10:24:18 AM
The website btcheat.com gives you spins in order to win at their slot machine. They can also take mining power from your CPU through your browser offering you 1 spin for every 2500 hashes. Their min payout is extremely huge 0.03 bitcoins. They increase your free spins you can claim automatically every three hours when you invite people to play there or to use their CPU power.

To me this is quite a sophisticated scam as you may think they get real money from your CPU mining but they don't have any ads at all.

This is just like many other cloud mining scams, be wary.

It's not really a cloud mining scams but probably a scam site nonetheless.

The minimum payout is huge which means that you are probably never going to get paid from them anyways. Plus, you'd just be wasting your time and electricity since you're probably just giving away free moneros generated through mining monero through coinhive.

Don't use them, not worth it.

And this is just another example of scams leveling up their games who are preying for newbie traders who wants to think they are earning through participating in some sites that gives out coins in an easy way. I think that site should be at least flagged down because if they are not targeted, they still would continue their work even if no one is already participating but they are still connected throught browsers.
111  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Do ICO's need licenses? on: October 22, 2017, 02:14:31 AM
If they want more investors they definitely need some licences. It is more of marketing strategy and those legal actions is worth the effort to convinced those who are doubtful on ICO since the image of it is being painted black when the huge of its kind is scamming here.

It also shows the seriousness and sincerity of the team behind it and that extra layer of assurance can make a big difference.

I am not generalizing all but having a license is not always a basis for a legit business. And yes it depends on marketing strategy and offcourse long term investment. it is not always their is profit on the earlier days of the company. It is not also easy for new cryptocurrencies to rise above others are their are releases almost everyday. And sometimes doing the same thing over and over is kind of boredom and thats when they would start doing something shady.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why I hate BITCOIN on: October 22, 2017, 01:17:17 AM
Bitcoin has a great potential than altcoins. You are much more safer in bitcoin than any altcoins in the long run. Unless you have a very good trading system to bet the cryptomarket that way you can take advantages of the big fluctuation of altcoins. Goodluck to you.

Op stated that he hates because bitcoin because of peers gaining than him. I think he is just entitled to his own opinion. Bitcoin is just waiting for any price increase and i do agree with him that you can get more profit in altcoin. But in a long term with high percentage. I do not hate bitcoin but i too am making some profits in altcoins and even token release. But also in bitcoin you can have profit either short term or long term because every hour, the price changes.
113  Economy / Economics / Re: Which country will be the first to legalize Bitcoin? on: October 17, 2017, 08:55:03 AM
Or others Criptocurrencies I mean..

I'm looking forward to read and hear this news that will happen soon then what we are thinking..and it will change the way of action in economic world by who already are against BTC and stuff.
It has to happen ( even if I don't know how )

I bet in China  Wink

Actually there's a lot of countries that recognizing bitcoin and declared that it is legal to their jurisdiction. I have witnessed a thread here about Brazil that has 150 stores that accepts bitcoin. And I can't tell on what country is the first to legalize bitcoin because what's important to me, it doesn't matter anymore if that will be the first or last country but what's important is that they are supporting bitcoin.

Because it could help a certain country to improve in the financial status. Especially if its a 3rd world country. But sometimes most innovators are 1st world countries because maybe they can really afford legalizing bitcoin or they could make infrastructures for mining bitcoin. It would be better if corporations also would support bitcoin even if their government doesnt really see it as a fit on their country.
114  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining Scam or legit on: October 17, 2017, 08:43:30 AM
Almost all cloud mining sites that I joined before has run away after some months of going online and make thousands of money until now I can see some cloudmining sites that offering huge profits and I advised we should stay away in this kind of sites very risky much better to invest in legit ICOs.

Until now because once they have gathered enough profit then they would just deactivate the cloud mining so that the users who have thought earned something cant get their proposed plan at the beginning of their mining. But sometimes most beginner users would want to join just to know how mining actually works. I think this sited should show the longevity of their site and not the running time.
115  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to get started on escrowing? on: October 17, 2017, 02:29:00 AM
If you want to be a escrow i suggest to create a free service first to start atleast 5 service to gain green paint to your profile so you will become a trusted person .cause  trustworthy escrow is the must to gain more clients. But i think need atleast Sr. Member or hero cuase sometimes clients had doubt if the escrow person is low rank maybe they run the money for the transaction.

That could be good also but it is better to show your work and services if ever you had outside the forum. Because just mere statements in this forum is not really believable. Like for example if you know how to make signatures then post it even if you have no previous deals from bounties. As a guy looking for secured services, i would select veterans rather than hopeful beginner with no proof of work.
116  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What I'm doing wrong? on: October 17, 2017, 01:43:04 AM
The design is pretty cool, congrats. But you need to promote your site, let people know you have a website where you sell goods and using BTC is one of the payment options, this might attract the specific segment of the market you're trying to get into, in this case, your target market are cryptocurrency users. This site has potential to be huge, and you need to find the right people for a good marketing campaign online. You might want to pay some money to hire a marketing team, but in the short term they will definitely help you expose your brand on social media and attract more customers. Good luck!

Unfortunately I can't afford to hire a marketing team right now, Im trying to do marketing by myself on FB, IG, Reddit + here...
If you know anyone other ways to do it with low budget please share!
And thank you for your advise and feedback, it really means a lot to me!

I can see op has initiative. I will try to help put your link in my facebook and twitter and even steem. But i will say that their is no easy marketing especially if people have no enough knowledge on bitcoin. Also expect for a longer time for your marketing to bloom. You said 2 weeks already but i guess you may be low right now but just wait for a longer time to have you bigbreak. I think i don't see any login button? And probably you should post some sample info's on transactions.
117  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legal But Regulated or Unregulated But Illegal? on: October 17, 2017, 01:31:17 AM
i think theres no harm in making it legal

however trusting the government to do it quick and right, well, that's another topic.

Actually their are many harms when it will become legal. Seeing it virtual and how decentralized it is, the government really does not have any hold or trackings of cash deposits beind made in a certain country. They cant fully control trades that would happen everyday. Economically it may help the citizens but not directly the government. Plus it wont be just some common civilian would invest, Corporations will also take oppurtunity leaving more btc to a certain business rather than the government itself.
118  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCHEAT.COM IS ONLY A HOAX? on: October 16, 2017, 06:52:28 AM
Btcheat.com is a legit or only hoax? Please give some clarify becuase i feel that this is like a phising site   Undecided

probably a scam. How did they generate profit?

No one can prove if its legit or not is because no one has actually made withdrawal during the time it was activated. Very low paytable and long wait time for refuel. They maybe just gathering views or registrations for advertising purposes. It's like they don't even want someone to win or withdraw from their site. Seems fishy and if ever their are people really expecting to acquire the minimum .03 it would take them months and i did not even bother to try the ref link. Does it work?
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A perfect bitcoin use-case on: October 16, 2017, 06:43:51 AM

That tweet reply though. People are still comparing bitcoins to the tulip bulb mania? What the hell? I don't mind criticisms of bitcoin, but this is pure ignorance.

The Founder of wikileaks posted on his twitter how bitcoin bitcoin has become profitable over 5000% after his his means of donation was blocked illegally in 2010 , this is one perfect use-case of bitcoin, ( https://twitter.com/JulianAssange/status/919247873648283653/photo/1 ) , but from the replies, its seems most people are still ignorant of bitcoins..
I do not know the purpose of this post, but if it means to show the high bitcoin price, that's the reality
Bitcoin gave WikiLeaks a way of accepting donations, since they're most likely blocked from accepting fiat donations.

Another positive news about bitcoin. Good one. But at least during those years people still don't have faith on a 3 dollar gold. Does it say how much he invested in during that time of year? Because most of us would have known btc then but also i was not interested on how it is mined and back then their a lot of internet scams andas a person who really is not familiar around the web, i just neglected it.
120  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Big Banks are so Nervous About Bitcoin ? Why ? on: October 16, 2017, 06:12:05 AM
Banks are afraid of the idea of on-line wallets which featured stuff same as banks offered to its client, in bitcoin you have the power over your money you can invest it and earn so much you can withdraw it anytime you want, there are also debit card that can use to purchase things in any malls. Bitcoin offers a lot of things whick may kills banking institutions.

Or in some terms, they cant have a complete hold of the money that is going in or out if ever they cant make something that could utilize bitcoin at the same time how the citizens would help the country's economy. Because regulating is not easy as well as banning it. Regulating would mean government should make something to track down trades in its own state and banning would just make users go behind the back of the state leaving a government with no profit while the citizens is making trades outside the state.
