Economy / Services / Make me a facebook account 0.005BTC
|
on: September 19, 2014, 01:47:48 PM
|
Hey guys,
I'd like to remain somewhat anonymous online, and I'd like a fresh facebook account with username / password so I can sign up for various things, like that fucking annoying quora site, or make comments without using my real identity.
Problem is I can't create one because you need a cell phone these days to sign up for facebook, and I already used my phone number to sign up with my real identity.
Hence I'm offering 0.005BTC for anyone who can create a new fake account for me.

Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can we Sue MTGOX for the leaking our Private info ?

Do we know for sure that hackers in fact got those files? I am sure that my User_ID is in fact in the leaked database with my correct BTC and EUR balances. (I had to check for myself to get a little shocked. ) However, I never saw my scanned ID anywhere. Did you...? And by the way, I suspect that even the database is not entirely correct. For example, I can't believe Karpeles himself lost ~210k from his own BTC by making bad trades on his own exchange over the years while also paying the regular trading fees. But may be he "lost" those coins on Mt.Gox deliberately to gain even more somewhere else and he was simply lazy to set up a privileged account for himself with zero trading fees. trading fees = tax deduction lol

I have a feeling MK over at MTGOX will be found dead in a river sometime soon. Thoughts?
Many worse things have happened in the business world. Even if you had your life savings in BTC, it wouldn't be a good reason for that. Just hope they come out with a fair outcome for all investors, with whatever money is left. We don't know the full story, maybe the coins are recoverable. If nothing else I hope mt gox quickly makes a offer to people who lost out. I don't want to fork out for lawyers fees, although I guess it may be necessary if there's any chance of getting anything back

For some reason the alleged hackers (who were trying to steal wallets with a trojan in the executable file that was included in the leak, btw) didn't include the 3 last months in the transaction lists.
It's reasonable to believe they stole the coins during this period and then tried to steal even more with their release of the documents.
Hmm, I didn't realize the last 3 months weren't there... There was a zip file, did you open it? Haha... yeah trojan, no way am I opening that exe outside a sandbox, lol.

I doubt that amount of coins were ever stolen from mt.gox by a hacker. Something else went on.
It would be more likely someone in mtgox has either let that info leak or leaked it themselves to add legitimacy to the claims of a hack.
Well, perhaps the private keys were stolen? Maybe the private keys were kept alongside the wallets in the database

Ahhh well I guess we'll see how much of an impact the Chinese have... But I'm staying out for now
In my opinion they're a fucking time bomb...
The government's pretty much stamped out bitcoin innovation in China for the time being.
The Chinese are not delusional they want RMB they can spend not BTC..
Does anyone have any figures on how many BTC are mined in China?
Doubtful it's that much, but that would be the real interesting stat. You can expect most of it will be sold before Jan 30... With no money coming in, the price is going to go through the floor... It has to!

I'm very confident that $400 was the bottom. As you say, historically post crash we seem to trend down towards 2x the pre-crash price.
These are great times to trade. It's low enough that I'm confident that it will recover to a ATH within 8-12 months, which means at least 100% gain in my holdings and it's moving quite a bit that I can try and snipe some additional day trading profit.
If it goes to $200 well I have enough FIAT to snap up a decent chunk of coins but it's simply not happening. $300 is even way too cheap right now.
What don't you understand about 44% of the Bitcoin market being forced to liquidate their positions by their government? No, owning Bitcoins in Chinna is possible, I believe the Bitcoins in Chinna might be more valuable than elsewhere in near future, because of hard way to get Bitcoins in Chinna. Having miner in Chinna and selling the coins privately can be quite profitable if Im right I totally disagree... While some people in China, might be looking to keep their coins, I'm sure the majority especially the miners would be looking to sell. Why would anyone want to buy so called bitcoins privately, if chances are they can't get real cash? Imagine if you had no access to any of the exchanges (pretty much the situation of the Chinese), would you really be holding your coins? You'd have to be a serious believer to do that. Nope don't buy it. Almost all the miners in China will be selling out to yuan while they still can. 90% of the speculators will be doing the same. We shall see... $500 is way to high in this environment, in fact you've got to wonder what will happen as the deadline draws closer.

NY obviously didn't get the memo that we going dowwwwwwwwwnnnnnnn
Maybe they woke up and thought there are cheap coins but that's ignoring the obvious fact that there are millions of dollars of Chinese money that still need to leave the system, as well all the money from the speculators
I'm off to bed now, I look forward to seeing $400 when I wake up
