Thanks John, I doubt this is heading anywhere. Doesn't seem to be any real interest, just curiosity.

Awesome. Then a QR Code it is.

I concur TradeFortress, but the entire idea is so full of jackassery that a full address would add to the comical nature of this entire idea. There has to be a way to make this work. While I am here, anybody have any idea for the actual artwork? I will talk to the artists about whether or not a QR will work on skin, because that seems to make the most sense. If he did it on a more flatish area of his body like a tramp stamp then maybe it will work. But I still worry about the human error factor in creating a QR from a stencil.

Brilliant! Thanks for the idea. I'm not sure how accurate a QR code would be on skin given it's less-than-flat surface area though.
166  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTC4PPGBP on: February 25, 2013, 06:43:58 AM
From the Newbie Standpoint: Anyone who is legit will wait it out and pay their dues. With BTC, if you have real life money, you can find a way to convert it to BTC and as of right now, there is nothing LEGAL that would require you to have bitcoins RIGHT NOW. I would love to get involved in trading my goods and services for bitcoin, but I would never ask or demand them IMMEDIATELY. I can't think of a decent situation where that would be necessary, and I can be a shady motherfucker if the situation demands it. Scammers in general always have a "lets do this now, in the most protected way for me as possible, I need to get this done because my friend with leukemia is going to die in 20 hours and blah blah blah" approach. The slow roll scammers ever have this sort of approach because they think that if they slow roll the scam they will get away with it. But you can always tell a scammer by their eagerness to discuss business. Take this for what it is worth, but try and get to know the people you deal with online while you are conducting business, you can usually tell who is a scammer by their demeanor when talking to them about YOUR life. Most will become impatient and either ignore any non-sequitors you offer up, and some will just get flat out rude if you try to discuss anything other than the transaction at hand.

This is not true for all transactions, but in my years of dealing with digital transactions I have found that the people who will take the time to at least be cordial socially, are the ones you want to deal with. Scammers are all the same. First comes ignoring things you add into your conversations that have nothing to do with the transaction, then comes denial when you out them, then comes anger when they know you're onto them.

My friend and I were talking this morning and he was looking for ideas for his next tattoo(his fourth). I told him he should do what some people have done and sell space on his body to a company as promotion. Now we talk regularly about Bitcoin and given my latest exploits into this world I said, maybe you should get a bitcoin tat, and have somebody sponsor it. I told him I would give him .75 btc for a tat with my address listed under the Bitcoin Logo. He scoffed at such a low price. He said if I could hit 12BTC he would do it.
I propose this, if we pool our resources, and a bunch of people donate with the highest bid(or top 3 highest if it gets up high enough), that my friend will have a Bitcoin tattoo with the winner's address written underneath (or top 3 if the highest bid doesnt match his quote). I think it would be funny as shit to see this jackass walking around with a tat of BTC on his body. Winning bid picks placement and design.

The only way this will work is for all money to be held in escrow until proof is given that the ink is on his body, with dox from the parlor(in this case it will be either Tattoo Lou's on Long Island or Blackstone Ink in Woodstock Ga(Blackstone is a friend and I am willing to pay for the air fare to get us down there from Long Island to see this happen). So a)who is willing to hold the money in escrow, and b)is anybody willing to pay an idiot to get a tat with their address on it?

171  Economy / Goods / Winter PS3 Game Cleanout on: February 25, 2013, 05:46:33 AM
Hey Everybody.

Been doing some cleaning and decided that there are too many PS3 Games on the shelf. So I am getting rid of the following:

Skyrim: Pretty much new, all original box contents, map, users guide...etc. I literally played it for ten minutes and decided it was too big a commitment for me.

Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension: It is lame, but good for a play through.

Uncharted 3: Again, pretty much brand new, has only ever been in the console or in it's case. All original game dox intact.

Final Fantasy XII: yep, it's old...but whatever.

Lego LOTR: Again, has only been in the case or the console since I got it. I just 100%'d it and am trying to get rid of it.

Any offers better than what Gamestop will give me for them will be considered. No set prices.

Free Shipping

so yeah, I'm drunk. Thanks for the litmus test on my intoxication. Cheers. Now if I could just remember how to get in on this I will be gravy.

I'm happy to help. I can't give you any info on hosting, but I am a decent web designer with a lot of free time on his hands atm. Once you get the hosting thing settled, if you need a monkey to do some work I am your man.

Perhaps I am drunk, but where is this code redeemable?
175  Economy / Services / Completely Random Service offer. Writing, Graphic Design, Minor Web Design.... on: February 25, 2013, 03:29:15 AM
Hey all,
Thought I would throw my hat in here. I am a writer by trade, but have worked pretty extensively in graphic and web design. Samples available upon request. Ideally, I would prefer to be a content writer, but I am more than happy to dip into my entire skill set. I won't even claim an hourly price, because in my experience, every job is different. If you need someone who can write, I'm your huckleberry. I doubt I will make anything out of this, but it is worth a shot. All the best.

Thanks. I hope. This is the longest I have ever had a bet not show up on the lookup. Wondered if anybody else has had this problem
178  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: February 25, 2013, 12:06:49 AM
I made a bet 4 hours ago, but forgot to add the fee. It hasn't shown up on the Lookup and the transaction is still unconfirmed. Am I out that coin because I was an idiot?
