1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: April 18, 2024, 05:15:10 AM

I'm gonna skip the 2nd game.. I'll stick with the firt game, I'm talking of taking the Heat big, ML bet here.

I was excited by the end of the first half because Miami had a double digit lead, I said to myself, this is easy, no way the Sixers will be able to come back when Embiid ain't playing like he used to. But damn boy, I was wrong, Sixes dominated the 2nd half and Miami were unable to respond on their big run.

Congrats to Miami Backers, still they win their bet if they book the point spread as it was +5.5, game ended up the Sixes winning by 1.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: April 17, 2024, 11:44:37 AM
I think there are bettors who parlayed the Lakers + Warriors...  These two were favorites to win but it's a fail on the Warriors.

Curry could not carry the team anymore, it used to be Splash Brothers but his bro wasn't playing his best,  or safe to say playing his worst.
yeah, Thompson who is expected to come up big were scoreless, honestly I didn't expect that but I've seen hime on/off in the regular season, it's just too bad the off happened in a do or die game.

I think the Warriors "Die-nasty" is over now.

_____________

Anyway, tomorrow we will witness another do or die game.

Sixers vs Heat +5.5

Hawks vs Bulls -3...

---

I'm gonna skip the 2nd game.. I'll stick with the firt game, I'm talking of taking the Heat big, ML bet here.

5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Subriel Matias VS Liam Paro IBF Super Lightweight June 15th Manati, Puerto Rico. on: April 14, 2024, 10:23:12 AM
Lian Paro understands how important this fight is so he trains hard and in dog shape now, check out this footage and see his training and how hard is pieces of training are

Is Subriel Matias In Trouble Liam Paro In DOG Shape For The Puerto Rican Puncher

Not only he is fighting in his opponent's territory, but he is fighting against a pressure who can take big punches and has a huge potential to be in boxing.

Both Lian Paro and Subriel Mathias are potential superstars and they will be each other's stepping stones, the winner of this fight will be a big threat to Isaac Pitbull Cruz, Teofimo Lopez and Tank Davis.

It doesn't matter much because Subriel Matias is also taking this fight seriously, he was a champion for a reason and that means he train and work hard to achieve it. It's good to see that Liam Paro is training hard because he is up against an opponent that hasn't experience 1 defeat only and a 100% KO rate artist.

This is a type of fight that the challenger has to be training hard as the reward is so big, but of course, we should expect the same thing from the champion as he got into that level and he'll never gonna go down again.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: February 26, 2024, 11:21:10 AM
This looks like the same scenario as in the first game of Gilas. The score is 27-52, and that is just after the first half. This lead will likely increase more in the second half as Chinese Taipei is struggling to make a shot because of the great defense of Gilas. The ball movement is still present, almost a perfect execution every time, so there's really no one heavily carrying the ball as everyone is sharing it effectively.

Less dribble and more passing, that has been what is happening now, and I doubt that Chinese Taipei still has the capability to come back and make this a thrilling game. I would say advance congratulations to the Philippines already.

The outcome dictates that Gilas really improves the system,  no more dribble drive but more on sharing and finding the open man to execute the design play, I like how they are sharing the court and aside from that the way they play defense which is really important, they are covering each other's back the very reason why Chinese Taipei  unable to gain a rally to try getting closer, they've been dominated from start to finished and it was a huge deficit.

Those who take the risk for that handicap are all taking their Sunday's of with a good celebration after the game, a well deserved wins for both  the players and the management 👏  well done 👏  "Sulit baga" in our language.

All they receive now are praise from the fans, and I'm sure they are so happy with that.

Because of their impressive games, there's a news that they receive an invitation to play with the strong teams in FIBA.
here's the full news.

Quote
Gilas Pilipinas head coach Tim Cone bared that invitations have come their way for their build-up toward the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament 2024 in July.

The veteran mentor said that European teams such as Lithuania and Slovenia have invited the Philippine team to come over, as other federations are also keen on preparing the best they could in a bid to get tickets for Paris.

“We’ve got some invitations from Lithuania, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic, we’re gonna work our way through those and see what we can do,” he said.

Nothing is set in stone yet, though, with the Philippine team given just 10 days to prepare for FIBA windows as per the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas’ agreement with other basketball stakeholders like the PBA and the UAAP.

That includes the OQT – where Gilas will be playing in Latvia – as well. “The window for us to do it is only 10 days,” said the 65-year-old bench tactician.

“That’s our agreement with the PBA, that’s our agreement with the NCAA and UAAP, and also the agreement with the Japan league – they can only release them for so long for a FIBA window. Ten days it is for us,” he added.

Well, since you are in a forum, you are expected to read your other members opinions and ideas so that you can also give your own and participate in the discussion. It’s impossible not to read and comprehend in the first place, because you will not understand either the topic or thread being discussed about. Now, even if your aim is just to listen to them and won’t care replying, still you have to read and understand what you have read, knowing the fact that your goal is to learn from them, not only on their opinions and ideas, but most likely on the experiences they share in the forum.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You only got what you deserve on: February 14, 2024, 11:21:57 PM
You are responsible for everything that’s happening to you. If you succeed, that’s because you go on extra miles and give your best shot in crypto whether its trading or hodling alone. But if you lose, I believe you still give your best shot but that’s still not good enough, which means try harder and work harder and see gradual progress later on. You are the only one responsible for all your losses and gains, and what you have certainly become now is what you actually deserved.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you make everybody to win in their crypto trading? on: February 14, 2024, 10:08:55 PM
If that could be possible, then we would be seeing majority of traders are already in profits and never have to suffer from losses, but it’s not what we are seeing now. In fact, there are only few successful traders that are taking trading at its high advantage while majority are still facing inevitable losses due to lack of skills and patience while trading in the market. However, we can always make these traders more motivated to trade and never give up, but we can never give them assurance to keep trading in profits.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have you met this kind of investors? on: February 14, 2024, 09:48:39 PM
People don’t need to engage in a certain community or forum just to be successful. It’s a matter of preference, there are those who works well alone, who achieve better results if he do it all by himself, as long as his full focus and attention is on his investment. However, majority still need to be exposed to find more wisdom and encouragement from other co-members, but others would want to chose to free theirselves from other people’s existence because that’s where they are more comfortable to.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Kambosos - May 12 IBF Lightweight Title on: February 14, 2024, 03:11:20 PM

It's never been easy for Kambosos as he is an underrated fighter. Even with his fight against Lopez where he won, the was the underdog that time, and he proved that despite being an underdog, he can still be aggressive like a champion.
And he beat Lopez that fight because he got into the heat of Lopez. The latter, loves to go toe to toe and that's what Kambosos wants. unfortunately for Lopez is that he could not land a clean shots on Kambosos, instead, he was the one making mistakes absorbing the counter punches of Kambosos. After that, Lopez move up and now dominated the current division when he is a champion.
And that was the only impressive fight of Kambosos, after that, he failed his attempt fighting another popular boxer which is Haney. however, for Teofimo, it was all success for him since he move up and just recently he was able to defend his title against Jamaine Ortiz.

Therefore although everything is on Loma's advantage, we can't underestimate a fighter that is hungry to bounce back. Well, literally, both boxers are coming from a loss against Haney, therefore we can expect that it's gonna be a war between the two.
I'm sure Loma will not underestimate Kambosos especially that the fight is held in Australia. Kambosos could get the support of the fans that will inspire him to win the fight. Loma sure understands it since he's been in many championship fights and he succeeded most of them.
Loma is a professional on the court, he takes his job seriously, he doesn't play around, so expect that what you will see is purely base on the game plan they are trying him to employ. Loma is not a volume puncher because his aim is very accurate, he conserves his energy well and only punches at the right timing.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do cryptocurrency increase the standard of living on: February 13, 2024, 11:51:21 PM
Knowing fully well that there is so many uneducated people around the world, how can cryptocurrency increase the standard of living
If you won’t educate yourself about bitcoin, then there’s no chances that bitcoin will manage to increase your standard of living. You have to gain knowledge and develop certain skills so that you can always chase every bitcoin opportunity that comes. Knowledge is always the foundation of every success, if you don’t have that, then you won’t have the idea on how to invest and trade profitably in bitcoin. Go out from your comfort zone if that what it takes to see yourself successful.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why are people getting scared to Trade on: February 13, 2024, 10:50:16 PM
The only people who can say that trading is effective are those who are now living their success with trading. While others continue to believe that trading is ineffective until they find out on their own that it’s way more profitable and gives fulfilling profits for those who are capable to trade.

However, for those who have not yet achieved what it takes to be a reliable trader, then it’s normal for them to get scared with trading since that means trading without prior knowledge and skills will result into unstoppable losses and regrets. And most probably, some would fear trading since they don’t have the sufficient funds that they can start up as capital, and are still afraid to lose their small, budgeted funds.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Kambosos - May 12 IBF Lightweight Title on: February 13, 2024, 02:30:11 PM
I might be wrong, but I haven't seen anyone posted the kick off press conference,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpbcltnTnko

Kambosos says it's all about legacy, while Loma is still hunting his dream to be undisputed again. There's no disrespect from Kambosos here, even if Loma telling him that he lost to Haney twice.

So both agree that style makes fight, and so they are contrasting style and hopefully it will be exciting as we fans have been envisioning this. Kambosos aggressive and the Loma, techniques in full display. We can't wait for this.
Kambosos is made for Loma, Loma is good in countering so he will be an easy target and can score easily, Kambosos is a good boxer no doubt but his third loss is looming kambosos is not yet on Loma's level eventhough he beat the man who beat the man.

Both are desperate to be back on top again but like all the rest I see Loma's fighting style way ahead of Kambosos, the poll reflects what will be the outcome of the fight.

Lomachenko by KO    - 8 (66.7%)
Lomachenko by decision    - 4 (33.3%)
Kambosos by KO    - 0 (0%)
Kambosos by decision    - 0 (0%)
Draw    - 0 (0%)

Total Voters: 12

None of the 12 voted for Kambosos to win the game. We can't blame them since Kambosos career was destroyed by Haney. I like him being desperate though as he just want to take the opportunity to go back on top again, he is not afraid to take a challenge despite majority if not all of us here believe he has no chance of beating Loma who is very technical as a fighter.
I've never seen Kambosos backed down on this previous fights. Although he is losing, he still keep going forward and try to look for the knock out. Boxers like him is fun to watch, but his strategy is quite not effective against a boxer who are already good when being pressured in the ring, as they know how to make the right adjustment using their quickness and IQ in the ring, that's why people call Loma being a technical fighter like Haney.

When Haney vs Loma faced each other, both are technical fighters, that's why it ended on a controversial decision.

I'm surprise that 66% believe it will be Loma winning by KO instead of decision, maybe they believ that the style of Kambosos would put him into a big trouble of getting KO.
I'm not surprise anymore since Kambosos is too careless when he attacks, so there's a huge possibility that he'll be caught up with a clean counter punch, and that could hurt him and will go down losing via KO. Or, Loma will find his weakness and Loma keeps attacking until he gets KO, either way, it still ends up in KO.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - February 24 on: February 13, 2024, 02:09:06 PM
I haven't heard Ancajas thrash talk though, perhaps it has to do with English as not their first language although the country of the Philippines has good knowledge of the language itself. And I do agree that they rather let their fist to the talking. Maybe they will look at their opponents eye and says to themselves that they are going to knock him out.

Of course, any boxer is going to be motivated specially if a belt is on the line. Ancajas has been a champion before and so he knows what it feels to be a champion again and so he will really give everything in this fight.

That's one thing, a language barrier, but Inoue is also a Japanese, so he doesn't speak english well too. Also, Filipino boxers are known to being humble, except for casimero, that's why they don't talk a lot but you can be sure that they are training hard for this big fight.

Ancajas will make this opportunity to come back being a champion, so this is an opportunity for believers to bet on this boxer with a very good odds which is 3:1 as reported. Don't worry, they'll do the talking in the ring.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What have you learnt from this forum that has actually saved/ you in real life. on: February 12, 2024, 11:44:01 PM
I think the most importantly thing I learned from the forum is to never stop chasing opportunities especially if you are highly capable on doing that. Don’t just quit just because you experience initial losses, winners do not quit and quitters never win. And that teaches not just about bitcoin matters but certainly in all aspects of my life. However, in order to be a winner, knowledge, skills, positive spirit and a full determination to take some risks are a must.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 12, 2024, 02:23:36 PM
[...]
It could have been fun if Butler was playing, and if he played, heat might have a chance of winning, or could be the opposite the celtics will dominate.
Buttler knows how to beat the shit out of Celtics for sure hehe. This would have been a great chance for Rozier but the 6 out of 16 field goal is disappointing. Everyone except Caleb had below 50% to be fair to him but I expected better performance from him. I hope to see better in future games as he blends with the team more.
Rozier hasn't scored 20+ points yet since he was traded to the Heat. It means his real game was not unleash yet. What I want to see is Jaquez Jr. also getting some good minutes to bring his confidence back. Since his return from injury, his numbers are not the same anymore, probably due to his limited playing time compared to the time when Butler was out, but they could make an experiment for him, this rookie has a smart IQ on the floor, it will be a shame to waste it.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Selling a property to play gamble on: February 12, 2024, 01:41:59 PM
That is the most extreme form of addiction before the most extreme of all which is the suicide. That is simply out of the logic of any normal sane person. The property can always make you money in different forms with the most common form giving it for rent or in the other form where you live there not paying mortgage and as such contributing to the person benefit. It is an extremely stupid gesture to sell such a gold mine to gamble.
Suicide is the last option for gamblers who have nothing to sell, they'll think they are already at the end of the life so might as well they'll end their life. We should not be in that situation because of being irresponsible in gambling. The gambling world will continue to grow, they are here to stay but us, we might leave the world soon, and we can blame it to the gambling sites we are playing or any physical casino as it's ourself that is our problem here, the lack of discipline.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading or Long term on: February 11, 2024, 11:50:49 PM
Whether it’s day trading or long term hodling, they share the same thing, discipline should always be given high emphasis. Because the fact that day trading and hodling both involve risks, then there should be high amount of discipline and patience. If you don’t have that, don’t resort into taking risk investing or day trading. However, there’s always a process to learn both of them. Even with day trading that has higher risk of losing, if you can learn its process, you will definitely end up being a successful day trader.
