21  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fork...Confused on: August 07, 2016, 01:34:42 PM
I am reading a few topics about bitcoin forking. Is this really happening?

Can anyone care to explain why Bitcoin is all of a sudden forking?

Is that because of the hack?

And is this a good thing for bitcoin?

Hmf ? Not sure if it will happen. And if wr are pertaining about the reason for it. Majority will say that it is because of the hack. (Including me) remember the EH ? It did the forking also, after it wad hacked and now it is bug free and ooerating normal again, so I think it would be good if it will be done in bitcoin also, to remove the exploitation and bugs thay was caused by the hackers.
22  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: August 07, 2016, 08:40:23 AM
I have bitcoin because for me it is a convenient one to send/receive any transactions from people that are far away from you. Although it has disadvantages, like hacking, scamming, and etc.. I think it was present in any business right? Additionally, bitcoins gives me opportunity to earn money even little by little. Especially now that I'm not on my legal age and it is not easy to find a job. I think it is a valid reason though. Lastly, It makes me learn new things and widen up my world in terms of business and I hope I can expand it as time goes by.

I think so, and besides I think even if it was still running now. I don't want to invest there. The name speaks for himself SHIT COIN . Haha its funny reading those bullshit features of it. And I think the price was manipulated so you will have more risk when investing to this coin. Good Luck to all of you. Cheers !
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin mobile wallet on: August 06, 2016, 09:05:06 AM
I downloaded a DogeCoin wallet on my mobile phone from the PlayStore. It is the first one  that pops up when you write " Dogecoin wallet". I am not sure if it is a legit wallet though, has anyone used it ? I have received 2 transactions and both have been confirmed but in the app it still says: 'This payment should become spendable in a few minutes. I received my first transaction about 4-5 days ago and it is still standing like that. No worries, it was a test run and I have got only 25 DogeCoins (pretty much nothing) in my wallet so no money was lost. I am just curious if it is a legit wallet or did something happen to DogeCoin.

Sorry to be the one to tell you this, but Dogecoin was put down about 2 years ago...

Don't scare the poor guy.  Grin
Dogecoin is still among the top 10 crypto currencies by market cap.

Yeah, I don't think doge is not listed as the tops 10 best crypto-currency now. Besides, they are accepted on gambling sites and I think it is one of the factors why doge is still in demand to markets. Although I am not fun on Doge and do not see what is he movement of it in the market. I think it will continue its popularity in no time.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Thaha Cheesy nice point. The thing is, why is everybody continuing saying shitty words. Let them invest to that ponzi site. Note that it runs many times but it is still running because many are fun of investing ponzi stes which can double their money in just a day or two. In addition, this is a gambling thread which may cause your money to double or become nothing. Because that's gambling, either you will Win, or Loose. As simple as that. Just what is stated above , Use you Brains Faggots. :p
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: August 06, 2016, 04:11:36 AM
The voting is closed but the discussion continues. I think I'm a little late to vote on this thread. But anyway, I used to gamble at first, and then when I lost all my bitcoins, somebody introduced me into alt coin trading. We had this group chat on Facebook where people talk about which coin are they investing on and when are they going to sell. People that you could call experts on trading because they've been doing it for years.

Wow !! Honestly speaking, I started also in gambling and plans to stop it because I am constantly loosing all of my bitcoins so I decided to start trading.  And we also have a groups in Facebook, that was C-cex trading(3 bibe) Patience is a Virture. I learn a lot from them. Especially the experts that's why. Little by little, im recovering all my lost in gambling. Coincidence?
27  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: $430 Bitcoins Available for Sale... on: August 06, 2016, 12:31:24 AM
I'll buy it if we use a trusted on site escrow or escrow through LBC

Yeah, hiring an escrow is the safest thing to do in terms of transactions. Especially now, as we can see. He has a negative trust in his profile meaning that it is not safe to transact with this person. And going first in a transaction is not a good thing to do. Because after he receive his BTC, he can easily go away and leave you with nothing. So be careful with that.
28  Economy / Securities / Re: Mycelium Crowdsale , Are you investing ? on: August 05, 2016, 08:59:52 PM
I am not really interested, i had heard alot of marketing begore itbwas launched, but i afraid later it will happen the same with ethereum which now is being dumped

Hmf? After seeing those bad comments. I think I would not invest my money in this crowdfunding. I don't think why they are ignoring this investment but after many people don't want t invest. I think somethig bad is in this investment. And I don't want my money to be lost in just this kind of investment.
29  Economy / Goods / Re: bitcoin for Tech on: August 05, 2016, 08:46:31 PM
I don't think you will have much luck finding that kind of expensive item available readily online for sale at an electronics or camera store that accepts bitcoins. That is really a hard item to find online and from what I know are only purchased though putting in a special order in most places which means cash up front before they order right from the manufacturer.

Yeah, I think they don't accept bitcoin as payment in expensive items. Maybe try to purchase Amazon gift card using bitcoin and then try to browse if they have the item you want. Sooner or later, bitcoins will be accepted anywhere.
30  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any safe way to grow my bitcoins ? on: August 05, 2016, 01:11:50 PM
According to me You can Do Bitcoin Trading For Growing your Bitcoins Or You can Try Out Buying/Selling Digital Goods For Making a Decent Profits.
But Be Careful in Trading Because A Little Risk is also Involved in it. I personally Using the above Both Methods to Growing My Bitcoins....

Well bitcoin trading is one of the good way to grow your bitcoin. Many traders are earning good with trading if you are going to study it first.
Even though it is risky at all you need to do is to be wise when you are going to buy alt coins or buying bitcoins and you are going to wait for the good time to sell it.

always a risk in any way, if we are afraid to risk, we will never succeed or managed to achieve what we want.
trading is the best way than investing or gambling. although all the same have a high risk, but you can minimize the risk on the trade, with the strategy and your knowledge about trading.

Right, in any investment, there is always risk. But the risk is trading is not by means of scamming or others but in the flow of the market. As stated from above, you can minimize that by researching the coin and make sure that it will last and the price has the potential to go up. Otherwise, you are just wasting your time, money and effort.
31  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to keep safe when verifying ID? on: August 05, 2016, 12:51:05 PM
When I send ID, I usually censor alot of stuff such as ID Number, Personal number.

That ruins the whole point of identification. You are to provide proof that you're you, using information that's private and only you have access to. If you censor it, what's the point?

All they need is my face, name and location. I've sent only this info and it went through at Paypal and Skrill. Why would I share it to some minority on localbitcoins?
That might work if you're dealing with a seller on Localbitcoins, but exchanges would want to see the entire document.
Adding a watermark, like others have suggested might be ok. Has anyone tried this with success?

It is true that verifying ID can be bad also. But for some transactions, it is needed for them to know your background and information. I don't try to verify my ID because I don't have one, they are not accepting Student ID and Im still not on my legal age so verifying ID is impossible for me that's why I didn't encounter this problem yet.
32  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Multiple Signature Campaigns At The Same Time... on: August 04, 2016, 09:39:39 PM
I think the people in signature campaigns are looking for people that can behave professionally. In real life let's say that you were hired to advertise Microsoft, do you think you're allowed to advertise Apple as well? Of course not. All these companies are in a competition when it comes to audience and advertisement. And your job is to advertise their company.
That pretty much sums up everything here.People are not likely use their brains while making such threads.Worst part is,people are arguing over how bad it is of the signature campaign managers that they don't allow advertising other companies/casinos.Sigh..

Well we can't blame them, especially those newbies and Jr.Members who are eager to earn BTC in signature campaigns. And the fact that they don't have the knowledge yet to bitcoins itself and to this forum. They just want to start a thread without considering if it is a good one or not. Now, regarding the signature campaign managers or payment. We can be angry to them if the manager is not good or the payment is not that decent. If we don't want the policies there then just quit. Avoid criticizing them as they are giving us the oppurtunity to earn bitcoins right?
33  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of Bitcoin change more than traditional currencies? on: August 04, 2016, 09:26:22 PM
yes the price of bitcoin is really changing more tha traditional currency and to me the main reason is that bitcoin is a universal currency and not under the influence of any one or any state, more ever bitcoin is a new currency and need some more time to stable people are continuously adopting it and therefore there is a bit variation in the price of bitcoin.

Indeed, Bitcoin although is in its stable state, it's price is continually changing its price because it is in its adopting state. Many are using it now that makes the fluctuation of the price. Moreover, In my own opinion, it is on the bids that affects the changing of price of bitcoin. As we can see, if you are going to compare the exchange in BTC/USD or EUR/USD for example. In BTC/USD we can easily pump/dump the price if we have for at least 2-3 BTC right? Unlike in EUR/USD. It needs a very high amount (even million) for the price to change.
34  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fork...Confused on: August 04, 2016, 12:43:58 PM
is it that article about chinese miners? i vaguely recall an article like that recently

Really? so you're saying that bitcoin will also conduct hard fork? Same with what ETH did. Is bitcoins suffering a hack now? I think it was yesterday when the price of bitcoin suddenly drops. It may be an indication that bitcoin is hacked. Hmf? In that case, it is not good for us that we may suffer from problems. And I don't want to make that happen.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Bitfinex Hacked] So , learned the lesson ? on: August 03, 2016, 08:39:04 PM
Not enjoying reading some posters criticising & blaming Bitfinex users for losing their coins. Bitfinex are the ones to blame here.

How are people supposed to sell coins if they don't, at some point, have their coins on an exchange.

It's a shitty thing to happen & unfortunately people have got burnt. I wouldn't be surprised if it was an inside job tbh.
of course only the exchange should be blamed, people didnt know that their funds will be just stolen, i hope all the money will be refunded to people as soon as possible

Thank God I was not using that site in trading. Yeah, they should return the funds of the people. The hacking of the site is not a valid reason for the people to loose their money without a refund. It is their responsibility to take care of those since traders pays fees to make their transactions safer. Yeah, Inside job may be one of the reason. I hope your funds will be returned guys. Good Luck Smiley
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin / Litecoin / Dogecoin / PerfectMoney USD-EUR / BTC-E - 1% Fee !!! on: August 03, 2016, 06:26:08 PM
Bump.

I think the fee was quite higher than in trading sites, besides we can have an advantage if we are going to trade in trading sites due to the fluctuation of its price. Additionally, we can save more BTC's because 1% is quite higher than 0.2% right? Plus, it is more secure in trading sites (sorry to say).
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Miner gate on: August 03, 2016, 01:13:15 PM
Pretty much a waste of time. how many shitty alts does 110h give you, maybe 1000bcn a day?
thats less than 1 cent. If you want to cpu or gpu mine then do some research and learn to use Sg miner or Cg miner and make some smart choices with your hash power.

Wew, so small amount right? If I was right, he is mining thru his PC right? I think it is no a good choice because it uses the 100% of the CPU's capacity which may lead to the damage of the system  or the hardware. PC's are not meant to mine coin, maybe jus wait for your GPU for higher profit. I guess just save the electricity for the GPU that is best suited for mining.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re:                              Gulden NLG                             100% funded! on: August 03, 2016, 09:33:55 AM
What is the update on this project? Is it still on goin?

This team releases projects once every 2 months , In 2 days it's 2 months when the last project was finished. With the boost funding it will be out soon.

Investeerder has special spy cameras set up all over my house, so everybody should believe what he says.

Hahah Cheesy really? hmf? So in that case, you need to be careful on your moves. There is always an eye watching on you :p Lol. Well, based on my first impression. This coin is perfectly developed, as what I can see, the app looks great. Keep it up guys. From now on, I'll be watching over this thread.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: August 02, 2016, 08:10:38 PM
Ethereum could be a good coin to buy. You have the choice of buying the  ETH or the ETC. Both are good.

When it comes to the price, yeah ETC and ETH are the ones that is best to buy, as you can gain profit from it. But, I think it is not best to long trade because we are not assured if the glitch was completely fixed with the Hard Fork. I think DRACO or CJ is best because the developers are currently responding to those queries and they are constantly updating how the project is going. I think that is a good indication that the coin will last and is safe to Hold for a Long trade.
