...The reason Dashcoin (Cryptonote) is pretty much dead is because their main developer sold his Github access to Dash back in 2015,
during our name transition from Darkcoin to Dash, to avoid name confusion and for us to get the opportunity to claim the Dash name.
Activity on that cryptonote project then pretty much dried up. Activity was pretty low to begin with during that time as their main developer lost
interest in his cryptonote project, so far i can remember.
I wonder if arielbit (former Dashcoin cryptonote supporter, turned into Dash troll) is still pissed about it or if he moved on... Undecided You can "claim" whatever domains or github access you may want. However you can't claim a vision or true anonimity. The real DashCoin is the cryptonote one, not this shitty based clone. |

As all exchanges, its "code" the one above it's in php. ASP.net one for serious investors due to security ( 5 btc min ) . Regarding section since it's a service too, ( exchange customization) both sections apply. It appears you don't understand the question asked by @ felicita, the user is asking if you are the original creator of the exchange script or you bought it from someone but it is clear that you can modify the code. The answer is needed in order to know if the exchange script have any back door or not. Answering the question, there is not a deliberate flaw in the code, not on the PHP one neither on the ASP.net which is used by major exchanges. |

Depends on what type of tax you're talking about. Stuff like value added tax is ridiculous and shouldn't apply. If you make a massive capital gain on them and sell then I don't see why it should be exempt.
I find VAT to be much more just and much less ridiculous than income tax. The best type of tax is always head tax because it's the most just. Everyone is treated equally and has to pay a certain amount of money towards services. It stopped being applied in most countries because of difficulties in execution, but it can always be introduced in the form of property tax. Vat is fine because you're paying it while buying goods and services. It can't be too high because otherwise the prices of goods would skyrocket and nobody would buy them. As a result nobody would make money. Income tax is the most unjust as it punishes hard work and promotes laziness. Indeed, VAT is much more acceptable than tax income which can go up to 35 % on some countries, pretty much ridiculous... isn't that slavery? |

The reasons which were provided for delisting those four markets are true and can't be countered. Bytecoin already is tumbling and this is major set back for it to loose such big exchange just before the market started to show signal of beginning of altcoin season. I don't think there will be any review in their decision but there are still good exchanges where BCN is being traded. We should be prepared to see impact on this decision.
