1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: May 05, 2017, 03:07:06 PM
to Devs,
During the swap period, devs made statement that swapped BTCD will remain in 1 address and won't do anything which means burnt.
If swapped(burnt) BTCD is re-used by any means, Isn't it double profiting? (illegal?)
It could be violating the terms which made the BTCD/Komodo swap possible.
(creating millions worth of new coin generates enormous tax problems which Komodo devs solved by
swapping BTCD and ICO)
and to hear that swapped BTCD could be re-used again makes me worry because
it jeopardizes both Komodo holders and remaining BTCD holders.

any comment on this concern devs?

Yes, and that statement holds. All BTCD will be kept in that one public address for the duration of the swap.

I have noticed there haven't been any incoming transfers to this address since April the 4th.

What happened to the 50k+ BTCD from the last batch?

Is James gonna gamble with them on Polo?

I'm on the ICO site trying to withdrawal but no withdrawal button.

There are instructions in the second comment of this thread. Basically you will have to go to the 'PAYOUT' tab. Please make sure you have the correct 12 word seed saved.

Payouts (withdrawals) are processed manually, next one in ~two weeks and after that they will be done monthly.

We are still waiting for last Fridays one, Bittrex wallet was unoperative so there was no way to put a KMD address to get the coins into Bittrex. Therefore it should be done tomorrow or  Wednesday the latest, right?

well,
on the bright side:
Just sold 10K Waves.. I don't care how much I lost. I really need to do so.  Cool I have a sort of relief Feeling now. Like getting rid of a dead tooth.
Now getting my BTCs , buying a new laptop using them, and enjoy it soon  Grin
I still have many of Waves, unfortunately... but I will try to forget about them.

Don't buy a Sony Vaio though

Oh shit! the pump of the century has started, dear bagholders here we go!!! waves rocket commanded by Yura Gagarin to da moon!!! oh shit!! ooops!

I'm pretty happy with the developers response time in slack. Very open communication.
First altcoin I really believe in. To me, the profit is secondary - this is a altcoin I can actually build a business with. Exciting!

You have very VERY bad judgement.

I have 24 employees with a high 7 figure revenue. I trust my judgement.

And don't you have some spare change from those 7 figures to fund your own advertising campaigns instead of starting pathetic threads begging for coins here in BTCtalk you loser?

Are your "online casino" HQ in your moms basement perhaps?

You just bought 0.5 BTC at 27k and are shamelessly pumping and shilling already!!

GTFO you clown

Anyone else think that the math doesn't seem quite right on the amount of coins you're getting?  Right now it should be 85M Waves/11241 BTC, or about 7561 waves per bitcoin rate, correct?  I'm getting more like 6500 per bitcoin rate.

You haven`t included bonuses while calculating your balance, (amount of BTC  during 20% * 1.2 + amount of BTC during 10% * 1.1 + amount of BTC during 5% * 1.05 + amount of BTC in period without bonus + amount of BTC from assets swaps ) = Total BTC with bonuses, your share is your BTC * your bonus, your Waves balance  = (your share/total BTC with bonuses)*85 Mil

I have included them and still doesn't add up

How about you guys go full transparency and include the asset swaps (coinomat etc) in BTC total for waves that have been done and proof of tx addresses, etc. in the ICO site?

Otherwise it looks the asset swaps was only a way to add some uncertainty to our calculations making it more difficult to know for sure if we really got what we have payed for?

I'm a little confused~

(...)

SN is combining all the blockchains and CC coins together but why are you guys working with coins that arent well known/used? Why not work with coins such as (insert decent liquidity coin here) etc...

What is and why use Boolberry, BTCD, Vericoin and other listed on the site (...).

I have the same question here after reading a bit

Quote from: supernet.org/about.php
The criteria for cryptocurrencies to become part of the SuperNET CORE is based on their technical innovation and potential for use within the SuperNET platform, as well as those which have strong development teams, commercial utility and/or large and supportive communities.

Is there anyone kind enough to ELI5 or post a link with clear info answering the following questions

1.- What is going to be exactly the role played by, for instance, Vericoin in the Supernet, with an example of real world use

2.- How Supernet is going to get more users and help vericoin and the rest of low liquidity coins to have more liquidity?

3.- Who are the Supernet users? (crypto speculators, darknet market users, gamblers... ?)

4.- Why any Supernet user is going to use vericoin to transfer value (pay joints or gamble or speculate in the crypto market) instead of BTCD or Boolberry or BTC or NXT?

Thanks

PS An infographic in the SN website could help a lot, I would gladly aid with it : )
