261  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin lead cryptocurrency market forever? on: June 20, 2018, 01:47:33 PM
Of course it is going to stay the leading cryptocurrency. It has the highest price, market cap and it is the first one which gives it a huge headstart. Did you ever see that prices of all cryptocurrency go up and down at the same time? Well, Bitcoin controlls the price, when it goes down, others go down. Maybe Bitcoin will find a replacement when all of the Bitcoins get mined, but that isn't going to happen for a long time.
262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do we complain when the market is down? on: June 20, 2018, 01:34:10 PM
People who say that kind of stuff are mostly the ones who uses Bitcoin as a currency more than an asset - they don't care about investment opportunities, they only care about how much money they have. As for investors, they are probably scared because this is more than a dip right now, the price is low for a long time now and it doesn't seem like it is going up soon.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ? on: June 20, 2018, 12:07:13 PM
They could ban Bitcoin, but it wouldn't be that effective. People would find a way to use it, buy and trade it without them ever knowing. Bitcoin is only banned in countries where goverment and banks want all the money, but the smart countries that care about citizens and economy support cryptocurrencies because they know it is a good thing for them.
264  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to Bitcoin. Should I mine or buy coin with my $6000 on: June 19, 2018, 07:50:07 PM
I suggest buying Bitcoins, because the price is really low right now and it will go up soon. Mining is expensive, just the GPU will cost you a lot of money, then electricity will grind a lot of money and you will return your investment in more than a year. Buying Bitcoin could get you a lot of money if you wait even less than a year.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What factors scare others from investing into bitcoin? on: June 19, 2018, 07:40:18 PM
I think that the second mkst common thing that scares people is - is it legit? Even though the person you are talking to might trust you, they can't be sure if Bitcoin is a scam or some scheme. The reason could be a poor explanation or just doubt. Some people don't like investing, not because they think they will lose money, it can be because they don't have time or will to put their money into Bitcoin and follow the prices.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is 2018 the year when crypto goes mainstream on: June 18, 2018, 09:28:17 PM
It is going to take a long time until Bitcoin becomes mainstream but it is heading towards it fast. Since the new all time high price last year, many more people started to gain interest and many average people at least knew about Bitcoin. If it keeps growing steady it could  be mainstream.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DECENTRALIZED OR CENTRALIZED? on: June 18, 2018, 09:23:19 PM
The whole point of Bitcoin and most of cryptocurrencies is decentralization and freedom. We have a currency that isn't controlled by anybody, why would we want goverment to take it over, they would most likely shut it down. We already have centralized money, so Bitcoin would be just digital money, nothing innovative.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Country backed coins, a good idea? on: June 17, 2018, 09:42:47 AM
It would be just digitalizing fiat currencies, it would break everything a cryptocurrency stands by - like decentralization and anonymity. I doubt anyone would use that since we already have fiat, the goverment would control both so those coins wouldn't be anything special or innovative like Bitcoin is.
269  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Drop: Is this the Best Time to Buy? on: June 17, 2018, 09:34:28 AM
Well I think it could go even lower but I wouldn't risk it because it could get higer any time. It is a pretty good time to buy, beacuse the price will probably get to about 10.000$ in this year, if not even higher than that. It depends how long you want to hold, the price could go to a new ATH.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is the vehicle, we run it on: June 16, 2018, 04:08:27 PM
Bitcoin is mainly something good, a good investment, it helps poor in some cases and it improces economy for many people. As for the criminal illegal use of it, it shouldn't be viewed as bad. The criminals also use cash, but why isn't cash bad then? People think that Bitcoin is one big scam just because some criminals use it.
271  Economy / Speculation / Re: Selling bitcoin is a stupid decision ? on: June 16, 2018, 04:00:45 PM
Selling Bitcoin would always be a stupid decision, because the price could be always higher. But there are people who just don't want to invest anymore and they are retiring, for an example, people who bought Bitcoins for $1 each don't need to wait anymore, they are already rich and they can retire.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to have many altcoins or it is enough to have few? on: June 16, 2018, 03:38:30 PM
I think it's best to spread your money to several altcoins, but not too many because I would rather divide my money to 3 cryptocurrencies rather than putting in into 5 more which are possibly scamcoins. The altcoins price also goes the same as the Bitcoin so maybe it is the best solution to invest in one, it is almost the same thing.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Friend gives wallet seed to stranger and bitcoins disappear from his wallet on: June 16, 2018, 03:33:00 PM
Your friend isn't getting his money back, that's for sure. But I don't know how did he have 2.6 Bitcoins and didn't know the basic safety rules, he should have researched a bit, that isn't a small amount of money, and he surely shouldn't have trusted a stranger. And he can forget the police, they wont react when cryptocurrency is involved. They don't know about it and there is no way to find the thief.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does world cup Football 2018 not have any effect on crypto market. on: June 16, 2018, 03:10:03 PM
Why in the world would the World cup affect Bitcoin or any crypto or fiat currency? The only thing I could see happening in the crypto market would be that Bitcoin is probably being used more on betting sites, but that doesn't really affect the price, other than that I don't see a connection.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PLAYSTORE and APPSTORE!! on: June 04, 2018, 06:09:14 PM
They should have accepted Bitcoin a long time ago. I just hope they aren't influenced by Steam for an example, they stopped accepting Bitcoin a while ago because of instability and they still didn't re-accept it. Bitcoin is much more stable now, they both should accept it very soon, they could get much more money from people who can't pay in different ways.
276  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SMS to crypto? on: June 04, 2018, 06:01:54 PM
I also found CoinGate, and I think it is the only legit one with the SMS option, so I doubt any other smaller site would have bigger country options than CoinGate. You might need to find another way to buy cryptocurrencies. PayPal or credit cards would be the best solution. And you also must be very careful, you could get scammed easy with SMS. You might try calling another country on coingate but I guess roaming would eat all your ballance.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people want ETH to over come BTC on: June 04, 2018, 05:28:13 PM
Most people want that because they are mining it with graphics cards which couldn't mine Bitcoin or are making money on it. A majority of them also wants that because it has smaller fees and confirmation times, but the reality is, Ethereum would crack at the price Bitcoin has right now. Bitcoin was struggling when the price pumped up but it survived, Ethereum would die there.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you mean when you say Bitcoin is number 1 on: May 28, 2018, 07:43:24 PM
Mostly when I think of Bitcoin being number 1 is that it is the first crypticurrrency made. But it is also number 1 in most means or cathegories, it is the only one that had inovation, alternatives rarely have anything original. Bitcoins price is one of the bigger reasons why it is number 1 and it is still better than alternatives in almost any way, it is the most convinient coin, privacy is very good and it is the most secure one for sure.
279  Economy / Economics / Re: Why most bitcoin users from good economies countries? on: May 15, 2018, 09:45:20 PM
Because people in richer countries have better access to more advanced technology and more Bitcoin ATM's and similar stuff. You can't expect more users to be from Africa or poor parts of Asia or Europe. America is the richest country and that's why most users are from there. But even people from poor countries still can use Bitcoin and use the benefits.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Huge potential earnings in bitcoin, still not interesting for others on: May 15, 2018, 09:26:23 PM
Well, most people who don't believe in Bitcoin think it is a scam and that there is no money from investing in it. Some people even know that it is good but are afraid of losing too much money. It would be much better if people read and learn about Bitcoin rather than making bad statements about it without even knowing anything.
