Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT is an interesting space
|

The problem with these NFTs is that you cannot sell them if no one buys them.
Most of NFT that can be considered as art like that isn't meant to be an investment, it was meant to be collectible just like how you buy arts or painting from an artists, when you buy it you want to put it on your wall and not reselling it in shop. If you are looking for an NFT that can be resold easily then it's NFT that is based on game like for example an axie, or any NFT games items, these kind of NFT always have quite high demand because it can make the gaming experience better or to earn in game tokens. Collectibles can also be used as an investment. if it has historical value, rare, ancient, then the longer the price can increase. NFT must fully have the support of its community in order to have value, and who has a taste in that field of art. which I wonder sometimes costs up to thousands of dollars, even just for a simple picture, but for art connoisseurs there may be a special value that makes it so highly negotiable. while for nft gaming, it's easier for me to understand. where we can get or collect certain items from the game. For game lovers, this is a good opportunity to channel hobbies as well as investment opportunities.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH adoption lately is high
|

~
Indeed the adoption of Ethereum is much higher than Bitcoin. The basic thing is that the price level is still low compared to Bitcoin. But to reach the Bitcoin popularity level, I think it's something very difficult. Apart from that, the amount of Ethereum is more than Bitcoin, so the spread of Ethereum in various wallets is much higher than Bitcoin. Transaction fees are also something to consider.
it really doesn't matter which price is more expensive or cheaper, but ethereum does have technology that can be used easily and cheaply by other projects in its chain. this is very helpful for new projects that are minimally funded to start, and we see that there are many projects that were initially built on the eth network, then succeeded and eventually built their own chain. besides the popularity of ethereum also contributed to the success of the project. with a real and active team developing the technology, so it's only natural that ethereum and its tokens cater to the crypto ecosystem. while Bitcoin has no focus there.

I have never invested in a solana project directly. but I made quite a fortune from joining the airdrop on a project built on the solana network a few months ago, like Rope. op is lucky enough to profit from those projects, moreover solana is also in hype. although so far I haven't seen the previous project last long, it's still like a pump and dump. or is this just my feeling?

I was a student when I got involved in cryptocurrency. It would have been difficult for my father to pay for my education. Then I joined this forum and started working on Bounty. I earn some money from here. At the same time let's start learning about cryptocurrency. Then I started trading with the money I earned from the bounty. So slowly I am well off now. Cryptocurrency is a positive aspect of my life. I love crypto.
sometimes adversity makes us tougher and harder to try to do something. I understand your situation, because I feel it too. the difference is your position as a student, while my position as a husband. when the cost of living got higher, I tried harder to provide for my little family. That's why I'm trying to find a side job that I can do on the sidelines of my main job. until I finally got to know crypto, then started learning trading and joining the bounty. Some time later, after my finances improved, I chose to focus on crypto and resigned from my offline job. now power is raising capital to open a business in the culinary field.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments prohibit developers from creating a new coin?
|
on: August 16, 2021, 11:15:11 PM

The rate at which new projects are chuming out on a daily makes it difficult for new users to pick quality projects from fake one. it is difficult for one to separate quality tokens from fake ones. it appears that we might get to a point where crypto will be regulated to reduce the high surge of new worthless projects. from NFTs to Gaming platforms. some has no serious values.
actually the method is simple, choose a project that has been running for a long time and is proven to have good development, strong fundamentals, one of the characteristics of which is being in the top rankings in cryptocurrency. if you don't have enough experience in analyzing projects then stay away from new projects, unless you really believe in the existence of strong partner support. the government seems to only be able to prohibit it in terms of business licensing, it can't completely prohibit new projects, because this too can be done secretly or done in other countries with softer crypto-related rules.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The use of Bitcoin as a local currency!
|
on: August 16, 2021, 10:50:59 PM
|
Digital money is still very common for everyone to use as payment and Bitcoin becomes famous when the price goes up very high but Bitcoin will be very difficult to accept to replace fiat currency. For now, there may be some shops that provide payment services using Bitcoin but not as a substitute for fiat currency.
so far digital currency or e-money is indeed more common and can be used legally anywhere, depending on the currency of each country. This is also easier to use, many banks already serve e-banking so that transactions can be done easily using only a mobile phone. whereas crypto currency, doesn't seem to be able to easily replace the country's official currency, it will just be an alternative. in addition to its use which is quite complicated for ordinary people, not everyone is ready for a decentralized system, not everyone is ready to become their own bank.

The biggest appreciation is of course for the inventor of bitcoin, you know what his name is. and next are early adopters who faithfully and patiently accompany the development of bitcoin. it's not easy to believe in "weird" projects that go out of the box and contradict the system that has existed for so long, centralization. so I really salute them. it took me about 1 year to really believe that bitcoin and crypto in general can give hope.
not to forget also high appreciation for the government that has given leeway to the crypto ecosystem.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency bad for the environment?
|
on: August 15, 2021, 10:53:47 PM
|
~ There are other steps being taken to mine cryptocurrency quickly and use less energy while doing so. For example, the government in El Salvador has recently adopted Bitcoin as their legal currency on June 9, 2021. These are mined using the energy from nearby active volcanoes to promote a more sustainable process.
so there is actually a solution to reduce the bad environmental impact of mining cryptocurrencies. this is a good solution, hopefully it will be realized soon and can silence the mouths of those who always blame crypto, especially bitcoin, because the mining process is considered environmentally unfriendly. after all, mining is not currently the main focus of developing new crypto projects. besides, there are actually many other real projects in the world that are more dangerous in polluting the environment, factories, gold mining, etc. many things have the potential to harm the environment, but when it comes to bitcoin, it's bound to be hyperbole. btw, thanks op, the information is very useful.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are meme/NFT investment really worth the hype they're getting?.
|
on: August 15, 2021, 09:25:46 PM

~Or you can even avoid them entirely and stick with the old coins and be investing in them. Old projects are always the best because they are more reliable and you have nothing to worry about.
So far I have no intention of buying NFT as a long or short term investment, I think it is still very risky because it requires full support from the community and market hype. Moreover, I'm still confused with nft in the field of art, indeed the price depends on the bidder, but sometimes the price doesn't make sense. maybe my art lacks taste, but that's how it is. the one that's been busy lately is nft gaming. this must be very fun for gamers, besides playing to entertain themselves as well as being able to invest with nft. Cool, right? I also like to hunt for nft airdrops, who knows, I can get a high price.

a project that looks convincing and promising can end up disappointing, so if you invest in a new project you should be more careful and only invest what you can afford to lose. this is really a principle that must be adhered to.
new projects will continue to appear as crypto develops, scammers targeting newbies will also continue to appear, even the appearance is very professional. it's competition, there are projects that are really built to compete, and some are just for scams. if you don't have enough experience in assessing new projects, you should choose old projects that are already successful and exist in the market. observe and analyze further developments to be able to enter at the right time.

|
on: August 14, 2021, 11:13:18 PM

There are now so many altcoins in the crypto world, and we also have new altcoins every day, some of which are legit and most of which are scams, so be cautious when investing, especially in new coins, because there are so many scammers taking advantage of the meme coin trend, so always check and do your own research before investing in a new coin.
we really have to be selective in choosing projects, especially new projects that appear just because they follow the hectic trend. know well what we are going to invest in, don't be fooled, and make sure the project has real functionality and strong fundamental support. meme coin was created for instant profit by taking advantage of hype, community support and influencers. The risk is quite large, so if you enter or exit late, you can end up in a loss. it is better to choose another project whose function is more tangible.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT still hot???
|
on: August 14, 2021, 10:50:57 PM
|
Binance has recently made a major push to make NFTs more popular on BSC. I'm still perplexed by the buzz and believe it's primarily a fad. They may be concentrating on more intriguing projects. I have the opportunity to claim several NFTs on Pancakeswap. While I think it would be good to have some trophies on my profile, I don't want to spend money just to be able to claim them if they already exist.
having the niche of NFT on binance is a good sign for the development of nft, and having lots of claim bonuses to get nft is also effective at attracting public attention. I also like to collect free nft, who knows the price may increase someday. Just like you, I also don't want to spend money to buy NFT directly. I don't really understand this niche so I'm just playing it safe by using claim airdrops etc. On twitter there are also lots of nft airdrops, if you are lucky you can get nft with good community support so the price can be expensive.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Convince me that bounties paying in anything other than Bitcoin are worth it
|
on: August 11, 2021, 11:24:55 PM
|
~ I just do not understand why people would want to work for free without any guarantees at all. If you are really unlucky you could spend 1000s of hours doing work for these bounties and profit nothing. I am interested in hearing about your experience with these bounties and how much you profit when it comes to withdrawing the tokens.
everyone has different abilities. some are able to join signatures with fixed payments in BTC and weekly payments, but the conditions are not easy, and not everyone can meet these requirements, for example the condition is that they have to get a certain amount of merit in the last 120 days. believe me ... not everyone can fulfill. if the conditions were easier, I'm sure it would be an option. on the other hand, there is a signature campaign with easier terms, with projects that "look" promising, handled by a trusted bounty manager, why not give it a try? after all this is not a tough job like we have to run dozens of times in the field. we just sit and stare at the screen and share useful information with each other, that's all. if we do this with enjoyment then I don't think there will be too much burden if it turns out that expectations do not match reality.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do I still have a chance to get profit?

~
As per the famous saying: when you are investing only what you are afford to lose on the event of an unexpected thing then you would never need to worry about. I believe that you have invested only very little amount so it can wait or you can take whatever decision striking in your mind right away.
this is a basic principle that must not only be understood but also properly applied. The crypto ecosystem is very volatile, many unexpected things can happen, especially investing in new projects is very risky. in addition to having analytical skills, luck also has a role to be successful here. so to avoid the worst risk is to use free money, which we can tolerate if it is lost.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where Are You Next 5 Years?
|
on: August 10, 2021, 09:38:43 PM
|
The next five years of my life would be crucial for me as I need to be decisive and at the same time, ambitious. By that time I should be able to amass many satoshi and ethereum that I can muster so that in five years time I should be able to buy a property that I can use to rent it out and earn more money. Sometimes, we have to be strategic to our goals and be able to think smart when it comes to managing our eggs and in time we would not be working anymore for money.
this is very inspiring, even though cryptocurrencies are very promising, we still have to consider the risk factor because the market is very volatile and is not always in prime condition. so having passive income from business in the real world is really needed as a backing support when the crypto market is not good. I like your thinking by planning to have a property that can be rented out, this can be for a long-term business, promising passive income. I want to open a culinary business with many branches, hopefully it can be realized in the near future, and cryptocurrency is one of the best fields that can provide an opportunity to get a lot of capital. May luck be on our side and this wish can come true.

|
on: August 10, 2021, 09:05:19 PM

what is clear is that busd and usdt are both functional, depending on your needs, usdt is more widely used as a pair in almost all global markets, while busd is more narrow in use because according to its acronym, Binance USD, it can only be found on binance and pancakeswap. I often use both, depending on which chain or market I'm trading. well, as long as we use it only for trading needs and not used for long-term investment then it looks like using both will still be safe, after all what's the benefit of holding the coin stable for the long term? in addition, this is a comparison between busd and usdt https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/binance-usd https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/tetherthe dominance of usdt is greater than BUSD. use it wisely, and my advice is better not to keep stable coins as an investment.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is BTC still top1 on the cryptomarket?
|
on: August 10, 2021, 08:40:14 PM
|
Just to let you know, the invention of bitcoin is what begot altcoin, bitcoin has been in existence for long before altcoins where been created, bitcoin being the oldest is the most popular and trusted cryptocurrency so far and this is more reason which it's at the top, no matter the condition of a father he is still the head of the family, the fact that the new blockchains are doing much more better than bitcoin doesn't mean bitcoin has lost it's purpose of creation.
the first one to come always gives a special impression, moreover, the development is very good, the trend always rises in the first decade of bitcoin's birth. although many new altcoins emerge with better technology, strategies, and real fundamental functions that are really needed, all of them will still refer to bitcoin. If we have an analogy, bitcoin is like the center of the solar system, although many new stars appear every day, the sun is still a special star in the solar system. The highest market capitalization of BTC, traded in all crypto markets as a pair, market confidence is so strong that it has a large number of holders, making it a promising investment even with high risks. for those who like a challenge this will be a new thing to try.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge Coins?
|
on: August 10, 2021, 07:38:57 AM
|
~ I hold bitcoin bigger than the altcoin because I believe that the profit will be bigger from bitcoin. But I admitted that the altcoin could give the other bigger profit, especially if the altcoin price can increase 2 times than the price before.
When you hold bitcoin and ethereum, I am sure your profit will become bigger as I say before. We know the chance for bitcoin price to back to $64k will be wide open while ethereum can break $5k sooner or later. So that will be enough for us to keep holding those coins and wait for the bullish trend comes.
at least choosing a coin that has strong fundamentals can give us important signs when it is the right time to add, hold, sell, or buy. i prefer it that way rather than relying on uncertain luck on coins or tokens playing market manipulation. well, as memecoin, the irrational movement of Doge is actually a rational thing, especially with the role of Elon Musk, as one of the world's richest people. his tweets clearly affect his followers, especially the price of doge is still relatively cheap so many people are fomo buying it too. some of the people who joined in the beginning can make a profit, while those who join later mostly just bite their fingers because the price then dumps.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth vs bnb
|
on: August 09, 2021, 10:48:49 PM
|
Adults should not make choices, they need both! I think both have their own advantages. I feel that the recent bull market is coming. The main battlefield of defi is Ethereum, and Ethereum is still profitable in the future. Needless to say, bnb can open more positions.
on the same boat, why be confused about choosing one if we can take advantage of both. Well, ethereum has a very wide ecosystem, projects from various niches have been built on the ethereum network, it is popular. Especially with the London Hard Fork upgrade, which reduces the amount of ETH in circulation by 1.4% every year, one of which is to determine the base price and later determine the transaction fee more precisely. this is the process to ethereum 2.0, while there is still a chance it can be used to buy eth from now on. while BNB also has its own advantages, as a strong “rival”, bnb has many benefits such as lower gas costs, discounted prices when trading on binance, etc. there is also a burning token that can support prices continue to rise in the future. so both eth and bnb both have great potential.

Those coin above i call it "Fork of Joke Coin" and it must ended sooner or latter. I advice people not to buy such coin. You will lose your money anytime. Better start feeding bitcoin marketcap. And vitalik did the right thing by throwing away joke token. He dont need it.
this is just a game and a joke, but when there are influencers who promote it then it will become popular and affect many people's perceptions so that the market moves along. scammers and fraudsters take advantage of this moment to attract attention, the target is new users and ordinary people who are fomo because they missed the previous popular meme coin. unfortunately this is just a trap. coinmeme was created for instant profit, by utilizing the community or influencers, so if the support of the influencer and the community is lacking then it will be nothing, and end up being a real joke.
